and a c8 right because it's totally different you know it's got the dual clutch it's gonna try and not hurt itself but there is a way to do it because for drag racers like us if you pull up to a water box you know to do some vagaries you got a radial tire on the back you wanna put some heat in it you gotta do a little

burnout

so this is kind of this is kind of a walk through to that okay hi everyone so yeah we reintroduced a feature with the dual
clutch transmission where it's called double pedal D clutch where you can take both your paddle shifters engage them at the same time which T clutches which is the equivalent of pushing a traditional clutch pedal in yeah so for that for if you're trying to execute a

burnout

you can use that feature hold your paddles you apply

throttle let the

engine

rev up basically to to water to max rpm and then you release the pedals are the paddles and that will engage the the driveline if the
clutch will slam shut kick the tires in the over slip and then you can roll into the brakes from there to try to yeah sweet it makes sense like I at first oh man how do they not come over something like this talk to the

ers they had a solution Chevy thought of a solution so hell yeah so we're gonna after we do the second lap of autocross in this car we're gonna go try it in one of the cars and do a dual sample

you know alright now this one has magnetic ride control so

guess you're not gonna hurt it if you if you go too much but if it opens the clutch yeah because eventually guys this thing has so much brace so so much powerful brakes if you push the brakes too hard it'll eventually open the clutch because it'll see that torque is reached right it's trying to protect the hardware so there's there's a lot more capability on the rear axle so there's a combination of a very powerful

engine

driving one direction all 3ik supposing that
force trying to make someone's

track

bigger stronger brakes in the rear area up and and in order to protect the hard way we have to put some cap on how much the driver can apply the brake cool to break both paddles no brake I want it too hard yeah you hit the brakes really glad you showed be first-rate yeah okay I see what you mean yeah it's almost like the car is so good that it doesn't want to do this Danny but that's that's the problem you know it's it's so capable
and acceleration capability that the one thing that's almost bad news for a

burnout

because the car just doesn't it just tries to hook it needs some water down for sure good it tries to just go yeah just swing over grab a couple water bottles well it's important to note that they have low tire pressures rights over Ali 22 psi and the tires are hot from auto across and it's a 305 in the rear 245 in the front so it just won't hold itself on this setup yep but you know
