full

face

of

nothing

new which is a series i do on my channel where i sit and film no new products we are not talking about new releases this is not a review of any kind and in today's episode a

full

face

is

nothing

new. I'm so excited because I'm going to do a

makeup

look every day and what inspired this was

travel

ing because while you're looking at this I'm on vacation I'm not on vacation right now clearly because I'm filming in my studio but when you see this I'll be on vacation and really just wanted to sit down and show you guys a typical trip or daily routine when I leave you so these are all very tried and true products.

These are things I really love to wear on

travel

days, specifically. I feel they look great on the skin. They make my complexion look really healthy. tried and true products I also have a whole list of lip products that I love to travel with so we'll talk about that at the end but let's go ahead and get started it seems like every time I do my

makeup

when I travel I like to use this underneath this is bare mineral complexion rescue defense this is a sunscreen and foundation and it also protects against pollution and blue light which when you travel you know you have plenty when you're watching videos on your screen and you're on a plane and there's yucky air going around and then there's also sun while you're traveling so you always want to make sure you're wearing SPF I always use SPF every day but this one is good and it's made as sort of a primer and I always look for it when I travel like this I like to warm it up on my complexion first and you'll see it's quite a white undertone this goes away once I blend it into the skin so don't be alarmed but I'm going to go ahead and use my fingers s to apply it is the best way i found to apply this since it has that sunscreen on it.

I feel that if something has zinc. I usually love to warm it up with my hands and apply it that way. I feel like it helps absorb the product into the skin a little bit better since my ears are showing today I'm going to go ahead and apply a little bit of that to the ears as well and then I like to go in and press this into the skin just to make sure that the sunscreen really absorbs i'm a sunscreen sucker so i like to make sure it's nice and pressed into the skin just for a little bit of protection you know ok as you can see it gives it a finish glowing to skin when traveling is It's kind of hard to find a balance between making sure your skin is protected and hydrated, but not too hydrated because for whatever reason when I'm on an airplane or when I travel my skin gets really greasy but i am also aware that when you are on a plane or traveling a lot especially ly on the plane it just sucks the life out of your skin and you lose a lot of moisture so i feel this foundation is a good balance it gives me a glow The eNOS is also quite moisturizing but not greasy which I really love even. i am going to use wanda beauty nude illusion liquid foundation this is an option for when i travel first of all the packaging is really travel friendly but it also lasts really well on my skin.

I use the shade. bright light I know some people really don't wear too much makeup when they're on airplanes I do definitely wear makeup I feel like I feel a little more organized obviously I like to do more of a daily routine which is what I'm going to show you today so I have that in all over the skin and i'll just take a brush and start blending this all over the complexion. If they have a favorite BB or CC cream, I tend to go for it. I use these often also when i travel just because you get skin benefits but also i usually mix a sunscreen and get coverage too so those types of products are usually what i look for when i travel.

I just wanted to show you this specific routine because I usually pack this foundation when I travel and it's nice because you can build it up to be a little more of a full coverage foundation that's going to be great for nights if you're going out okay wait for that thought ok i just tried to blend that with a sponge and it took a little bit of coverage so i'm just getting a little bit of some product on the sponge and added a little bit more in there. I'm going to blend this out with a sponge, but anyway, what I was saying is that I like to travel with a foundation like this because I don't always wear CC creams at night and this is the product where I can layer it over a sunscreen during the day. day and just blend it out a bit or if I'm going out at night wherever I'm traveling I can layer it and d I can do a really nice glam look it also looks good and photography and since there's no sunscreen here you won't have no flashback or anything like that, so what kind of preference sometimes if i want to pack light to travel with something? which you can use in both situations ok next I'm going to use my favorite concealer this is something I always travel with this is Laura Mercier's flawless blending concealer and I'm going to use the shade 1n and I'm going to use a little bit of this to brighten the under eye area and i usually go in with a little bit darker color on the blemishes but usually on travel days i run out too so we'll just use the same shade today and i'm going to take the exact Same sponge and I'll just blend the concealer all over my face and under my eyes.
I'll also take what's left on the sponge and press it on the eyelid to cancel out any discoloration because I just have a few veins showing so I like to hide them a little bit, alright, then I'm going to set the face. I love using this powder on days like this. This is the concealer cosmetic. this is because it's a hydrating powder so it actually contains hyaluronic acid which is something that draws moisture into the skin and on travel days like I said I try to find products that have that balance between making sure that my skin doesn't.
It doesn't get greasy but it doesn't dry out the skin either and this powder is perfect for this situation so I like to make sure there are no wrinkles under the eyes and I'm just going to take a brush and press this under the eyes to set the concealer also does a great job of smoothing the skin. I don't know if you can tell the difference on camera, but it's just a good, foolproof powder that wears well on the skin. It's never uncomfortable or over-drying. Its smoothing makes the skin. look flawless, I don't know. It's just a reliable small powder so I tend to travel with this one.
I like to take the smallest brush and press it around the T-zone because that's where I personally get greasy. I have combination skin so this area here just the T- area really is the first place that gets oily so I like to make sure I apply powder there and then I'll take a slightly larger brush and use that to set the rest of the face make sure to put a little bit of powder on the lids just to set the concealer we applied there earlier ok so now the complexion is done right it's not done but you know it's done we'll go ahead and use this right here I fell in love with this again.
It's definitely not a new product, it's actually nice for my collection, but when I travel I look for face palettes. I like something that is going to be multitasking so if I take it on the plane with me there are a lot of options with the palette so I have a few fa Ce palettes that I have been looking for and loving. I love the hourglass one. There is also something from the pharmacy that I really like, but for some reason I almost forgot about this one. so perfect for looks like this this is the smashbox cali contour palette check out this you get a contour shade a highlight shade two highlighters a bronzer and a blush so basically your whole look is in one palette and when i travel i like to use the bronzers which i'm using and the blush and the highlighter on the eyes so i've been reaching for this power again and it's beautiful and i'm so excited about it again so i'm just going to take my bronzer brush and i'm going to dip into the shade first contour if I have little time.
I'll just mix the contour shade and the bronzer together and double it up, but I'll show you how I normally use the shades separately. I like to concentrate. the contour shade just below the cheekbones and not Since it's more of a cool tone color, so it will create a bit of shadow. I also like to put a little on the sides of the forehead. I like to put a little here. cheekbones look higher I'll take what's left on the brush and run it up the sides of the nose a little bit under the lip and a little bit right here just what's left on the brush here on the neck ok I'm just going to take the same brush and I'm going to dip into the bronzer shade and like to sculpt the cheeks again but I'm going to put it a little higher than the contour shade initially so I'm going to go ahead and move my hair as well and this is where you really want to add warmth to the complexion so the cooler shade shapes the face this adds warmth again to the skin so I like to layer the two because then you get the shape but you also look healthy when you apply the bronzer , so I'm going to keep a Applying this on the forehead, the same on the cheeks, just a little higher than the outline.
I'm going to put a little bit under the lip and then a little bit along the jaw line, so warm it up and then I'll take the rest. down the neck i'll take the brush we use for powder and buff it all over to make sure there aren't any harsh lines we don't want even though we're contouring and bronzing we don't want the streaks on the face they look like you know we're leaving vacation or maybe we come home from vacation and looking healthy and shiny so I'm taking the same brush again and just dusting everything one more time By the way I didn't dip back in the pan this is just the brush no additional product, it's ok.
I am going to take this top highlighter shade which can sometimes be a bit too dark for me, especially since it is like winter now. yeah it's a bit too dark, well I'm going to Mexico so I hope it's on the way. at home, it will be fine. I'm going to apply that anyway to even out the cheeks real quick. I'm also going to put a little bit of highlighter in the center of the face and apply it right here. the brows just to bring that out ok i love taking this shade here which is like an almost banana powder highlighter and i love applying this under the eyes it adds luminosity and shine and i love this because it just makes me look They look more awake and I don't know about you but if they are traveling and wake up very early sometimes they don't look very awake so I like to apply this to the center of the face as well to kind of brighten that but especially under the eye area and it doesn't look heavy under the eyes either which i love it's such a great powder so i'm going to brighten everything up a bit.
I'm just taking my bronzer brush and making sure the cheeks didn't lose that shape and now we're going to dive into the b Lush in the exact same Smashbox palette. I'm going to smile and apply this to the apples of the cheeks, blending it back on top of the bronzer and highlighter. It's just a really good blush color that I like. It is not too bright in my opinion, but it is bright enough to bring life back to the skin. I really like it. I'm going to take that powder brush one more time and make sure everything is polished.
The next thing I'm going to do is I'm going to take an eyeshadow brush and dip it into the contour shade and I'm going to start shaping it. I'm just applying this across the crease and the good thing is that since you used it on the face I like it. to drag it into this area here and even down the nose slightly just to add more shape there and I also like to apply that shade to my lower lash line okay before I go any further with the eyeshadow I have to put on Eyebrows. because it's driving me crazy I usually like to do my base first though when I'm doing a simple eye look but I'm so used to seeing my brows when I'm doing my eyes that I'm going to go ahead and fill in the brows now I'm going to using thoth cosmetics Infiniti Waterproof Brow Liner I love how long I wear it and for me my brows are pretty non existent so especially when I travel I need a pencil that will last long on brows and this one does it for me, absolutely love this so i will go ahead and start filling in the brows with this pencil ok brows are set.
I love this eyebrow pencil. Let's go back to the eyes. I do it on a lazy morning when I'm getting ready to travel. I don't normally have time to go all out, but I want something in the eyes just to make him look alive and awake, so I'm going ahead. and apply the bronzer shade more on the outer part of the eye blending it into the crease and then I'm taking what's left on the brush. I'm just dusting under the outer third of the lower lash line real quick. I also like to take a little bit of blush and pop that through the crease.
I'm using a bit of a lighter hand for this, but I love having a little bit of pink in there and you know what, oh, you've been out of it on this lower lash line here, not being too precise. or anything, it's alrighti'll take the bottom highlighter shade which is too dark for my face but it's amazing for eye shadow and i'll just take the exact same brush and apply it all over the lids if you're running out of time you could just put bronzer on all the lids eyelids and not bothering to do any bright shades but i'm just showing you guys who know in a perfect world if i'm not late and if i want to look a little bit more together or if i have to look together where i'm going this is what i'll do ok so i'm going to take the highlighter shade we used on the face and use it on the inner corner and under the brow just to highlight it a little bit and you know me with my inner crease highlighter i'll just take what's left and something like that, even with an everyday appearance.
I feel like this trick really helps open up the eyes so I'm just going to pull it off like this I don't know I really like how it looks good for mascara I know. I have been using a lot of Thrive cosmetics but honestly these products are super reliable and this is my favorite travel mascara because no matter the weather, no matter how long my trip is, it will stay on my lashes. amazing and then not too hard to remove. I hate waterproof mascaras so I prefer something that is going to be very long lasting and I know it won't smudge or flake at all but I don't want it to be waterproof and this is like the perfect one for that this is the Thrive cosmetics the liquid mascara for eyelash extensions and i love using this when i travel like 99.9 percent of the time when they see me travel i'm wearing this mascara i'm going to go ahead and start applying this to the lashes i like to do an eye at once usually and this is a tube mascara so it takes a minute to get used to it is a different type of formula I find if I flick on the brush with this it really helps build the formula on itself and will help To lengthen and volumize, you don't want to let it dry before you start layering, otherwise it may build up a bit more.
I blink right into the brush and let the mascara do all the work and I like to build it up on the bottom lashes too, I also look at the difference between the lashes this is really amazing, I also doubled the brush of mine and I just feel like it helps lift up again nst the lash line that's why my brush is a little angled the brush doesn't come like that i bent it a little on purpose and actually i love it that way so i'm going to do the same thing with this just blinking on the brush and building it slowly I don't dip back into the tube there is a lot of product on the brush to keep building so I continue blinking on the brush and then lightly touch the bottom lashes and do the same thing I worked on the lower lashes lashes and just let the mascara do all the work and build itself ok i'm going to wipe off any foundation left on the lips and honestly this is the hard part choosing a lip product because i have so many i love on planes i tend to reach for lip balms so sometimes i apply this before i get on a plane so i will put it on before i head out the door this is the even lip sleeping mask i know . its an overnight mask but i use it during the day all the time and its great i dont need to However i just keep this in my travel bag because you have to put your fingers in to get the product and i dont feel like that is always hygienic or convenient when i might actually be at the airport so sometimes i start with this.
I also love the Bide Beauty Agave Lip Mask, this is also a sleeping mask that I like to use at night, this one in particular is the lavender version. Personally, I think the original is the best I've tried so far, but I'm just trying. to go through this so sometimes i put it on if i need something more moisturizing and this is a good example of something i would take with me on the plane because it's a little easier to use. I love this though this is a great mix between a lip balm and a gloss.
I want them to shine like a gloss bu I need the hydration this is my go to of course we have the classic lip gloss if I just want a lot of shine and if my hair is pulled back where I'm wearing a hat or something sometimes i would like to have a bit more gloss on the lips this is something that will not really moisturize the lips it will not dry them out but it will not be like a lip balm effect so it just depends on what you are looking for. but I use them quite a bit when I travel.
I also love the NARS lip balm. This is just the simple. They also have dyes. These are the afterglow lip balms. These live in my bag. There's something I can throw on without looking in a mirror and it will look good, especially dyed ones, so that's a great option too. I know I'm talking fast but honestly I have a lot to share with you guys so I also love NARS oil infused lip tints this is also a formula I feel like I can put it on my lips it will make my lips they look really good it will tilt them a bit but i dont need a mirror to make sure the lip lines are accurate so i love that there is also this clear gloss from Smashbox the angels extra gloss wow! that was a mouthful but those are the ones i usually look for when traveling, honestly it just depends on my mood for the purpose of today's video.
I can't decide between these two. I really love this and this is something I would probably toss in my bag but I'm looking forward to doing something a bit more glam I guess as this video is a bit more like the glam finish to a natural makeup look with the glitter on. the eyes i know it's not glamorous it's still very wearable but i think i'm going to use this red lip gloss from Glossy it looks daunting in the tube but really but what do you apply? It actually just tempts your lips and makes it look like a really pretty pink, so I'm just going to go ahead and apply this and see how it tints the lips a little bit.
I really like its color so I wanted to wear that one today. Let's say today we headed to the airport. I would probably apply this and then keep it in my bag or pocket. that i might catch up with it a bit because my lips tend to get dry on planes ok before we wrap things up let's just assess the situation i'm just taking my bronzer brush and i didn't get it wet. in the pan, but I'm just adding a little more to the brow as usual. I'm going to take what's left on the blush brush and add it to the cheeks again.
The blush is the first thing to fade so I usually kind of apply a little more before I go out ok now I'm dipping back into the pan and adding a little more and I feel like that makes my skin look really fresh and Juvenile, so that's okay, we're ready to fix the face. Always go for the urban decay all night. I just need my makeup to last the whole thing, so this is what we're going to do. to apply this she puts it all over her skin, oh dear we have a big blemish, hope it doesn't ruin the makeup.
I'm just going to let it dry a little bit and then once things are almost dry, I like to take my Sponge and just press it all over the skin. The dots seem to fade once they dry. cetera, i'm just going to run this through the brows and once there's some product in there, i like to take my finger and just press the brows into the skin. I love a good soft brow for a day of travel. i like to leave my skin looking like this it's not as dewy as usual but when i travel for some reason maybe it's because i'm rushing through the airport or something but my skin tends to get a little oilier so travel On days I like to leave it a little more matte than I normally do just to make sure that it never all stays in place and then once my skin starts to get oily it doesn't look too shiny.
I'll just take what's left on the brush and add extra powder to the T-zone just to make sure I almost always forget to check for mascara marks luckily this mascara really does a good job of coming off the lid, it doesn't stick , so I'm just taking my brush to dust off any scare marks on the lids. I can't tell you how. many times i have spent all day with mascara all over because i forget to wipe it off ok guys? That completes this face full of nothing new. I know a lot of these products were high end but honestly I just wanted to show you guys a typical routine for me when I travel and honestly these are just my go to writers diet reliable products which for me can go from everyday makeup to glam makeup so i like to pack products like this so i hope you found it useful i hope you enjoyed the final look i know it's nothing revolutionary but this is what i feel confident in when traveling and it lasts all day on my skin no matter what my face feels nice and protected thanks to our sunscreen and a good foundation which will also help protect the skin so yeah this is basically my go to makeup. routine so I hope you enjoyed it if you are new here hi my name is Ali and I would love for you to join the family you can do that by hitting the subscribe button and if you are already subscribed but want to be notified on Tuesdays Thursdays and Saturdays at 10am Pacific Standard Time, click the bell after subscribing and you'll be notified every time I post that's all for today if you don't follow me on Instagram head over there and follow me because I'm sure I am posting about everything we're doing in Mexico, it's so much fun.
