FULL COVERAGE Makeup Tutorial
Jun 01, 2021hello welcome back to my channel hope you do well with us today we have the beautiful Grace as a model and she informed me that she loves a
full
coverage
look she lovesmakeup
she loves glam and really that is what I needed to hear today. She really wanted to do a complete glam look, so that's what we went for. We went with afull
er skincoverage
. We did the outline. We did the highlighting. glossy lip so if you want to know how I created this look right here keep watching so for starters I'm using Tatcha Dewy skin cream and applying it to Grace's skin with a beauty blender and for those of you who ask, I do. use the beauty blender wet it's the same beauty blender i will use later to blend foundation, contour concealer etc. consistent and really contributes to a perfect blend once we've worked on the skin I'm going to apply the foundation which for today is the smashbox studio skin full coverage foundation and yes this is very full coverage as you can see here , this is actually the same foundation i used on myself in the first video i posted on my channel when grace told me she likes a full coverage glam.I knew I had range for this base. It's super full coverage. from this goes a long way she really should pick more of these shades next time she's at sephora this was the closest shade she had to her skin tone and it's still a little too light but once i apply the contour and blend everything will look great and if you notice I'm applying this almost everywhere including the ears because like me Grace's face is pretty fair so the red undertones really stand out on the ears and lips and in any imperfection. It may be so making sure you apply foundation to these areas will really help create a flawless base.
Now the only place you won't see me applying this is under the eyes and that's because I'll end up going there for a full coverage concealer anyway and there's no point in double layers of product if it's not necessary for the concealer. I am using my tried and true kevin aquan sensual skin enhancer. as full as possible and even though our model today has no problem with dark under eyes i'm just sticking with today's theme full coverage so i'm using this concealer i can already imagine the comments and he won't I like people to say she doesn't need
makeup
that much but the reality is no one needs makeup we all can see this girl as beautiful as she is without it but some people love it I love it maybe not for everyone . day or not for everyone but heck If she makes someone walk with a little higher chin and with a little more confidence why doesn't she hurt nobody? It's just makeup. Washes off after seeing how the concealer looked on camera. I almost deleted it and started over because it looks a bit too yellow for her, but I figured I can't be the only one who has this problem from time to time, so I left it as it is and I'll show you later in the
tutorial
how to neutralize the yellow undertones with powder once we have that concealer smudged into the under eye area, chin, center of the forehead and eyelids it's time to move on to tanning the skin and i'm using the too expensive born this way concealer in the mocha shade to do this i'm applying this using a blush brush to the perimeter of her forehead her cheekbones her jawline and her nose and i know you can't see it but her shoulders and chest have this beautiful bronze tone to give her it will heat the face e so that the face matches your body of course if you prefer to skip this blended footage you are welcome to do so but i kept a lot of this footage because i know many of you enjoy watching it so for that yours.Who does it here? It's weird, ok, so now that we've blended out most of it, I'm going to run my Beauty Blender over the under-eye concealer one last time to blend out any creases that may have occurred and if you'll follow me. at home skin should start to look a bit like this now with this one size translucent setting powder i'm going to start setting the face i'm starting with the under eye area because that area wrinkles the fastest what i do is to pour the powder into the palm of my hand, press my powder puff into it, and then press it into the skin.
I'm not necessarily baking with this right now, my goal is just to set the makeup so it doesn't bleed. Later I'll go in with a powder that isn't translucent to correct the yellow. undertone of that concealer once i've set under the eyes i'm going to go on to set the rest of the face and this is another step i take my time with because i really want the skin to look flawless ok ok so now that i have that makeup set i am going to correct the yellow undertone in the concealer as promised to do this i am using a ben nye loose powder in the shadow thing and using this to bake the under eye area where we placed that concealer kinda of you guys may be thinking what the heck is different this powder and the one you just used well they are very different the first one is completely translucent while this one has a color pigment which is a light pink color that neutralizes the yellow undertone we got from the concealer and i'll leave this on for a few minutes while i do my eye and brow makeup with this anastasia beverly hills brow pencil in the soft brown shade i'm going to fill in and shape the brows fo Signing slowly but surely I'm allied with trying to keep as much relevant material as possible in these
tutorial
s because I don't want to set unrealistic expectations for everyone. and it's as easy as that no no no it doesn't take time to do this much longer than the 15 or 20 minutes of this tutorial we're creating art here when I'm not filming it takes me a good hour to an hour and a half to complete a look, a sometimes two hours, so don't be too hard on yourself if you feel like it's taking forever to do this. running this through the brow hairs to set them in place and to cover any foundation or powder that may still be there once I finish this brow I'm going to complete the other one off camera before starting the eye makeup the first one eyeshadow i'm going to use is this one by bobby brown in the taupe shade this will act as my transiti in the shadow and more than anything it really gives depth to the crease and gives the eye a little bit of shape. nordstrom so that's the link i've included below in the description box and i checked to make sure this shade is available before using it today once i've mixed it up i'm going to move on to master metallics eyeshadow mario makeup palette and i'm using that olive green shade in the middle of the palette the name of the shade is um oh wait now lemme see it's called metallics at six and what i did was spray the brush with a little setting spray before from dipping into the shadow and this just amplifies the amount of pigment I get when I apply it and literally everyone sees here there is no editing or image cutting it's all a shot of me just using one swipe of this eyeshadow and applying to the center of the lid before blending it back to what i was saying a bit earlier i'm keeping this video here so you can see the blending process the pigment is a bit wet from the setting spray i used so it will take a little time to blend it out but with a little patience you will get a beautiful metallic eye look once it's blended out it should look a bit like this now going back to the first shade i used of bobbi brown i'm going to run this under the part lower lash line, now i dip back into the metallic eyeshadow and blend it out, of course you can blend it as much as you want. we have the mascara below applied the eye shadow will act as the perfect backdrop and for a bit more drama I am applying the smallest amount of black eye shadow to the outer corner only, I don't even remember which palette I used for this but really go ahead and use whatever black shadow you have lying next with this one size black gel liner pencil I'm going to line the water line and even the tight line with this pencil also our model's light blue eyes are so bold and beautiful i wanted to add some depth and contrast by adding in this black liner, lastly with this pencil i am running it along my upper lash line. the brush i used to blend bobbi brown's eyeshadow i'm going over the edges to make sure everything is blended and blended i didn't dip into more shadows i'm just using what's left here now with this kush mascara from milk makeup i'm going to pass this through the tabs.I'm using it directly with the wand because as you can see this is a sample size mascara so I only intend to use it once the lashes I'm using today are the ones I used in the video I posted on Monday where i show you how to build a custom lash if you haven't seen it yet check it out. I'll link it below. It's good, it's good. bronzer i'll leave this on for a few minutes and this will really help sharpen that contour line and i'm doing the same thing on the high points of the cheekbones just under the eyeshadow then for the blush i'm using the pretty fly blush from the doll beauty in the shade we are going to go wavy and i am applying this to the cheeks with a blush brush since this is my first time using this blush i am very easy because this blush is super pigmented which i love because everyone You know I love blush and I tend to go heavy handed because when the makeup is done some of it always wears off somehow, also as you can see I'm slightly topping up this blush under the eye. area i love to bring the blush into this area so the under eye has a slight pinkish cast to it and also this will help to neutralize that yellow undertone we were dealing with earlier once i have applied the blush i will move on to the highlighter soft and delicate of mac to restore a little glow to the skin.
I am applying this to the high points of her cheekbones, the brow bone in the center of her nose, and the cupid's bow. Now that we've given the lash glue time to dry. I am running the milk makeup mascara through the upper lashes for the last time. and this will ensure that your natural lashes and false lashes are attached to each other and there is no gap in between, then i am curling the lashes together using my kevyn aucoin eyelash curler this is another reason why i love wearing synthetic lashes ,they curl so much easier than a mink lash and it holds the curl which of course is great when the synthetic lashes are mascaraed on and curled they could almost pass as your natural lashes i love this style they are not too crazy and dramatic most attention is paid to eye shadow and skin so now that the eyes are complete let's finish this look with the lips the first lip color i am using is an anastasia beverly liquid lipstick hills in the shade allison and as usual i am using a liquid lipstick to line the lips am i the only one doing this? i find using a liquid lipstick is so much easier to line the lips than a pencil it just glides on more smoothly the lines are crisp and its long lasting to fill in the color i am using another anastasia beverly hills liquid lipstick in the shade lovely i've done so many nude lips for my channel i wanted to light it up a bit today and play with some color and though isn't this crazy?
I think this pinky pink lip will look really beautiful with the metallic olive green eyeshadow and as you see here I'm just buffing the edges of this color into the first liquid lipstick that we used for the gloss. I am using this. fenty beauty gloss balm in the shade taffy tees and I am applying this directly on top of the liquid lipsticks. I'm not going to apply too much gloss today, just enough to add some shine and luminosity back to the lips and the last product I'm using today is the one that lasts all night. urban decay setting spray to set and set makeup in place making this the last step in this full coverage makeup tutorial and there we have it kids I hope you enjoyed today's video if you so be sure to give it a big thumbs up and subscribe to the channel.
