imagination

and you are watching Red Bull's exclusive

series

. Hello friends, Sulaima Masakela, here you. host of the red

bull

Signature

series

and let me welcome you to an undisclosed location near Fort Scott Kansas, aptly named Imagination. The vision and creation of this project comes from the mind of eight-time X Games medalist Tyler Berman, from his

imagination

he imagined and dreamed of a course like never before seen teamed with legendary course builder Jason Baker, the vision became a reality and this is what we see today: a variety of 45 freestyle features including massive jumps, one with a blind landing. a row of towering trees, a shipping container, and a quarter pipe.

There are only a select few who compete at this level of fmx, but an even finer group can handle a course of this magnitude, as some of the jumps will launch riders 140 feet horizontally and 55 feet into the sky including colby raha cole seeley tom parsons vicki golden ryan sipes darren durham and of course the man whose imagination this dream materialized tyler behrman with only three days to familiarize them with the direction of this reach the cyclists were up to the task of passing from the session to today's competition format. The only limitation on this project, as with most, is Mother Nature.

freeride motocross creativity at its finest red bull signature series imagination...

As long as the winds that blow across the great plains remain calm and show mercy, we are sure we will truly witness something. special today for the call, we give it to jack nichols and the legend Grant Langston, thank you sal, we are looking forward to this competition today and this is how it will be judged, each runner will have two races on the course and their best score Of the two it will be the one that counts the judges will observe the way in which the runners use the course, their speed and amplitude of fluidity and the tricks they perform, who better than Tyler Biermann to present this course to us directly from his imagination, free writing really It doesn't have a platform, it's basically just us creating content on our own.
freeride motocross creativity at its finest red bull signature series imagination
I want to do something with this project that has never been seen before, let these writers have an expression session to show their

creativity

and style in a completely new way environment much of our free writing takes place in california and utah so let's go somewhere new and unexpected, why not, kansas, okay, let's see what this thing would look like right here next to the tower that could be the start and finish line. I definitely want to have a fun box somewhere, so let's put a 40 foot container right here. You can manually position the top or the wall on each side.
freeride motocross creativity at its finest red bull signature series imagination
This section of the rear jib will allow passengers to do whatever they want. It's a blank canvas. So we'll definitely need a quarter pipe that leads here and then over the hill to the next section, yeah, and then a shark fin goes into a downhill dirt half pipe that you can vent on both sides, I mean I sure would ride this, let's see if anyone else This huge course took the Dreamtrack construction team 20 days to build an incredible 45 features integrated with over 50,000 cubic yards of moved dirt? Let's go to the field itself, where Tina Dixon is in the daunting Quarter Pipe and Jack, all the athletes said.
For me, this course is much bigger than I expected, especially the features including this quarter pipe that is now right behind me, from where I am standing to the top of that lip which is 31.5 feet. Runners are now expected to go about 30 feet higher. that lip, so you add that up, it's more than 60 feet in a six-story building, but the good thing about this quarter pipe is that the landing is longer, there is more transition that allows the runners to grow and for us it is more exciting See it, well, here is the output list. With the order determined by the riders choosing numbers in a lottery, sadly Darren Durham and Vicki Golden have already been left out due to injury, but the man who will get the action going is Ryan Sipes, the legendary

motocross

racer will take on some of the best freestyle motocross riders. for the first time Grant, well Ryan Sipes has been known to do everything on two wheels, but this will be a little different, a little out of his element, but let's see what the general can do today against all these guys, he's not like me .
I have some expectation of winning or something, but if I can go out and make clean races and nail everything and basically leave it there, I did it, I did it with the best, I did what they did, I was able to achieve it to learn it, I would be very excited, I want I mean, that's the goal with all of this, it's like I can compete with the people who are already good at it, like the people who do it all the time, if I can intervene. and just racing right away, that's what I live for, well, sipes is about to come for his first race, our first look at this course, but despite being a legend, Grant Sipes is willing to do anything these days , No?
Sure we've seen him at a couple different events lately, we saw him with cramps in the Tennessee woods doing the Tennessee knockout, but this is a lot of time on the air and as I mentioned, Sipe is in his 30s, so for He's really impressed to see you here giving this a try. Well, we'll pick out some of the main parts of this course as we go through our first time with Ryan Sipes. Some of the smaller features first of all and then move on to the bigger jumps, there is a 140 foot long jump, there is one that is blind over some trees, it will be fascinating to see what he can do, he says he hasn't freestyled like this for fun in a long time, oh. that was a beautiful whip right there, you saw Scythe was making it very flat and straight from the start using this kind of super cross section, obviously something he's a little more familiar with about the container, nice little container there same and then one of the biggest jumps. the back of the track sipes are nice and sideways, remember the wind is pretty brutal right now, so that's going to make any of these normal tricks a lot harder for these guys.
Excellent early stuff here from the shims, it's fascinating to see what he can take on much more experienced

freeride

rs and there's the blind throw over the trees, phenomenal stuff, yes a big jump for the views, right there a lot of riders get very intimidated when you can't see the landing. On the side we will see that he uses the landing half pipe or quarter pipe, but not the takeoff slats, obviously he is not very familiar with that type of freestyle obstacle, but he really enjoys the type of motorcycle obstacles in the middle, another big one. Jumping there in a crosswind didn't do much and plus Ryan Sipes isn't a freestyle rider so he'll probably be a little lacking in the tricks department, but when you're talking about speed and being fluid on the bike, that's what what does it mean.
The guy is known for this second half of the course, which is a little more technical, a little more like a motocross track that the ruts will be used to. He still gets good air and good range, but I think he knows he won't go. Be fighting the hardcore freestyle riders for the win here, but still have a nice, flowing, smooth ride, which is one of the things the judges will be looking for. Oh, absolutely, look at him, he's understanding the downsides of these. It jumps very cleanly when exiting corners very well. He has been able to position the bike quite sideways in both directions.
Right now, try to get a little creative by hitting some of the sides of the jumps, crossing a little wheelie on the nose like a The drone flies away giving us great camera angles and this is part of the course designers plan as it develops. approaches the finish line. Now there are so many ways to attack these jumps that you can go sideways, you can go the traditional front route, fascinating. things and scythe crosses the line and then finishes its run clean, neat, clean, things exactly what you'd expect from me, I guess so, exactly, you saw that nice whip from the beginning, that nice hip hop to the right, they're more straight. up and down a whip than the one you see here in the shipping container, a nice little wheelie of power, little style and

creativity

and, once again, a good whip but going in the opposite direction, from what Ryan Sipes shows some versatility at the big finish line, there you can see.
There is some cross wind, the jersey is blowing, but still has a decent score for Sipes 85. Then for Ryan Sipes, scores over 100, he is the current leader of the only rider who has made it so far and I think he enjoyed it , don't you seem quite satisfied? After that first race, what was that guy? I'm actually pretty excited about it. I didn't get everything perfect like I wanted. The wind is a little tricky, but I rode some of them, so I'm pretty excited. I hit my lines, I didn't really come up with short things like that and I made it through one of them.
Tyler Bearman's vision has come to life and now he must prove his worth by competing against the best freestyle motocross riders to ever take such a course. magnitude its first of two races when we return you are watching the red

series this is imagination of the great plains of kansas near fort scott it is a special moment when the vision of an athlete can Coming to life looking at a piece of virgin land and seeing the potential to create an unprecedented course across 18 acres over 19 days, a team of five heavy equipment operators with 12 different machines at their disposal move 50,000 cubic yards of dirt for comparison, that's just over 3,500 fully loaded concrete mixer trucks or a quarter of a million bathtubs to say it's an incredible task doesn't do this course justice.
If you are going to think of the baddest

freeride

course in the world, where will it be? You would never think of the middle. from Kansas this is just out of the ordinary this is something no one has ever seen and it's remote the first time I came here and inspected the site it was like looking at this place Tyler and I literally went out to the tower scratching myself on graph paper and I came up with ideas from being here with Jason and building and stuff for three weeks, we've been on the team every day, basically from sunup to sundown, I can't thank Jason Baker and the whole Dream Tracks team enough because it's absolutely It exceeded all my expectations, it's the steroid course of my dreams when I got the invitation, I was so excited to get here, I gathered a bunch of stuff and got in the van.
I expected this to be one of the biggest challenges of the year. like four football fields in jumps, so it's like where do you start, it's bigger than I expected and when you walk it, you go well, it's big and then you jump really big, you can't even understand how big these jumps are, believe. the most intimidating jump is probably the tree jump the tree jump that jumping over trees is crazy you're completely blind you take off your lip and you're in the air for two seconds before you see where you're going to land and I don't know if you're going To make it yet, Vicky also did it before any of the boys, so that's up to her.
I've seen a lot of tours, I've been on a lot of tours, but I've never seen a live one. from scratch, I was excited to be a guinea pig on this course, one small mistake if you go on too long, like these jumps aren't a joke, follow Tyler and ditch the guessing game and we'll all have fun. Don't wait to see it and just watch what happens because I think in this canvas game there are guys that have some pretty creative lines and use of the field, so the judges have their work cut out for them.
The fascinating story of how this entire course has unfolded over the past three weeks here in Kansas and Berman is about to come into competition for the first time, but where does the inspiration come from for imagining some of these features you'll see? There I'm inspired by features I see everywhere, so some of these fifth gear jumps you see in the dunes of Glamis or these short, steep transitions and hips you find in the hills of Beaumont or inspiration from supercross style tracks. sections to just take all these features from multiple places and put them all together and then add a little bit of flair in there like a fun box, a container for a fun box and attractions on the wall and things like that, so I just try to get inspiration from multiple places and you try to just add them all up and here it goes, then Tyler Bearman, the man behind this course, enters his first running competition, he has been the guinea pig for this course and initially thought he would concede to the othersrunners.
I would think it was unfair that he built this course and was practicing all the time, in fact the other riders are very happy that he was the only one who tried it, yeah well Tyler has a huge amount of creativity, that's a nice whip where it really lags behind. in this, he's very unique, now you see him changing course a little bit, trying some different lines that we saw on the foils a little bit earlier, cool stuff from Bearman and then in these early stages, what is he going to do in the container? We saw Bearman's horse on the blades and the like as he approaches, oh, and then a horse on the nose at the other end as well, oh, that was nice, uh, nice whip in a different direction than the previous one we see in that first big hip going to the right side, take a deep breath and there come back into some of the bigger jumps and oh, that was beautiful, oh, flat and sideways, that'll get the judge's attention right there over the trees and Now we're going to see Bearman on the quarter pipe for the first time using the ramp on the right side 60 feet in the air he nails the landing oh that was lovely uh biermann gets a lot of height on that which is what the judges love, his signature one-handed move and actually used the quarter pipe, one of the few to do so, which helps the big time overall score over the 140-foot jump land that one like Well, very stuff.
Good ones from Bearman, as now you get to the more technical part of the course, the more motocross style section and you started thinking about this concept about three years ago, it was based on mountain biking, right? It's great to do that with bikes, then I found this site about 18 months ago and here we are and he really shows us how much fun he has on his bike. Well, we could say that Biermann is probably the perfect person to design a tour like this. a free riding background a motocross background, he's done x games quarter pipe and he's not bad with tricks either so it's a discipline that really suits him and as he mentioned before this is what these guys love , just be creative from one lane to another. the other one is like coming off the supercross practice track and when you're really bored you start getting creative and going from lane to lane, here it comes and then it hits the final jump, a really nice race that ends from Tyler Bearman. with a beautiful whip and that's going to get good scores from the judges.
I would have thought it was very clean in every way, great height and some really well executed tricks. That's that lag whip you have where the front goes higher. a nice flat one with one leg out, a little, uh, ricky carmichael, in the style of the moto days and then going in the opposite direction, look at that rear wheel over the head, so biermann runs solid, there's everything , look at this. I'm giving you a great chance, look at that one-handed backwards game, six stories in the sky, perfect landing spikes, that wonderfully solid run and it's a 91 for Tyler, hell yeah, first place out of two, although we've got to go four more, so Bearman's 91 is the score to beat but eight-time x games medalist colby raha is about to make his first of two races here in kansas are you watching the red bull signature series welcome back to the series Red Bull Signature from outside Fort Scott Kansas for Imagination the Top Freestyle motocross competitors have come to the heart for a massive ride that includes 45 built-in features to ride the line of your dreams.
Ryan Sipes and Tyler Berman have already raced and next up is Colby Raha who is looking forward to one of the highlights of this course. quarter pipe something new for moto has been in the game I think for three or four years a lot of guys are afraid to hit it because it's dangerous and it's quite complicated to commit to doing it. I've had some success in the upper quarter pipe uh with x games and nitro and stuff, but around here we're not doing a lot of air, it's all part of our career and creativity and I've got a couple of tricks so I'll be, uh, I'll do it. .
I'll be trying out those tricks and trying to, you know, bring that creative side to the quarter pipe for this event. We'll see how the judges like that mixed with the race and hopefully it's exciting to watch so Colby Raha is about to fall at 91. tyler berman's score to beat so far we'll see what he can do he's a rider with a lot of experience now this is going to be a great career i think so kobe raha is known for going big if you want to look up. big in a race, there will be a photo of this guy right next to it.
He likes the beautiful whip of him to ride freely from the beginning. He also has a lot of tricks in the bag, so expect him to discover a few that will help him. him in that scoring department maybe his weakness isn't a super crossover guy, nice, no hands, that double in a can, some nice creativity so far and then a beautiful skill, so we're really getting some variety so far, yeah, we saw that Tyler. Bearman was mainly doing the whip, some very good whips, don't get me wrong, but as you say, a bit of variety, a wheelie all over the container too, so this is good, a bit like a superman when it comes down to it. jump, you could actually hear it in the air from our drone, a little comment from Kirby himself, nice like you said Superman, but that was a good trip along the container too, got on it very early, did a wheelie, it was all a nice whip over that big double again launching the bike in the opposite direction and then over the big gap in the tree there very intimidating and this is their specialty going up here to the quarter pipe and then 60 feet in the air once again oh , remove the leg oh that was huge a good skill while almost upside down with a different camera angle will really show you how twisted that was.
Kirby raha so far it's been a great race for him he says he's living the dream right now as he runs this one hundred and forty feet oh that was a close one I just got away with it that could have been the win that was a factor who probably thought, hey, I don't want him to turn sideways, whipping him into this jump because of the wind, I'll just do a footless move. Suddenly it seemed like he couldn't move his legs again, so Kobe Raha had a very interesting moment there, but he makes it, that's a little more than what he was looking for, yeah, exactly in case, he thought that he would show it.
Now I can go both ways on one job so great job on his part he said he got tired of spending all his money trying to be a motocross racer and then he ended up doing some free riding and he just loved it and now he enjoys it riding all the At that point he is coming to the final sequence of this course and this is the part where you said he might be a little weaker technically, well I thought he would have a lot of freestyle tricks in the moto section, You see the motor guys. getting a little more creative he's taking a more traditional line as he heads towards the finish line he finishes it beautifully over the line and that's a good colby raha race we'll see what the judges consider but we saw a lot more tricks of him compared to tyler bearman in particular, yeah that's more of his experience, you saw a good variety there, hands behind his back, suicide, no hand, he had a couple of double cans, not kang cans with legs and then again able to turn that bike completely on its side, upside down. a nice motocross style whip and then look at this upside down six stories in the air fully extended knack neck which is amazing throw it down and watch it just catch the top of that very clean landing gorgeous kobe raha material which is a 95 and That takes him to the top of the leaderboard.
Tina and Colby had a lot of variation in that race, a 95. What a start for you. You were able to accomplish things, especially with that 140. Yeah, yeah, it definitely is. It's windy and uh, it comes out that you feel it the most and I thought it was probably not a good idea to take it off, so I made a mess, but it almost wasn't a good idea, or my foot got caught coming back and I went down like in the berm with a basically side saddle, um, but yeah, excited to throw it, the whole first run was actually better than I thought and, uh, and we'll see in the second run if we need to, you know, figure out something else, but Yeah, you mentioned a backflip earlier when we talked to you, yeah, yeah, I can, I can uh, I can flip, but I haven't done it in a while, so if I have to, I will, I probably will. anyway, just because I think it would be foolish of me not to, so we'll still figure out a way to get things started.
Thanks so raha is our new leader but when we return former factory Honda rider Cole Seeley came out of retirement for his shot at the imagination course you are watching the red bull Signature series welcome back to the series Red Bull Signature here in the heart of America this is imagination and cole seeley currently sitting in third heading to the start line for his second race general ryan sipes Just lost his second race moments ago Grant yes Sipes He had a great career again, he was just solid and consistent. I just got here and they didn't expect too much from himself, but what he's been lovely to see is that he's stepped up in areas that maybe he didn't.
I don't imagine you've heard the writers talk about how big these jumps were. I imagine the intimidation factor was huge, but Scythe's two solid runs were very consistent, very smooth, nothing too flashy, but the great overall shim work remains in fourth place. Next is 30 years. Old Cole Seeley, an 88 in his first race, has him in third place. He's pretty new to this discipline of riding, but he's a very experienced guy, yeah, so I raced 11 professional seasons in supercross in motocross. I rode for American Honda, that is. One of the most prestigious teams you can compete on.
I've done pretty much every event you can compete in when it comes to motocross and supercross, from you know our normal schedule to races abroad, Switzerland and Paris, and I compete for our country in London, so I've definitely done a lot in my career on the racing side and now that I've retired I'm just looking for the fun side and reinventing myself as a driver, so Cole Seeley is about to appear. He scored 88 in his first run, he really needs to be in the mid-90s if he wants to challenge Birman and Raha, who still have a second run coming up.
Well, Cole Seeley, obviously, if you look at the speed and fluidity part that he has. From his supercross experience, the former winner loves freeride he said he got a little tired of motocross because I feel like this is something he really enjoys and will thrive on, maybe his weakness is freestyle tricks alone, But Cole Seeley. he's really good with his timing, you'll also notice that he absolutely greases the back of these landings over and over again, a nice skill, one of the few guys that does it in that direction, oh and off the side of the container.
Sealy is trying to be a little creative, perhaps because of his experience in the engine, where the guys on the test track get burned and try to find where you can go from one lip to the other, landing on another lane, sideways again , about that decent size. Jump for Celie to show us that she can turn from right to left and with this wind these guys are doing an exceptional job because of course at some point the headwind will be directly in front of you, other times it will be from the side or from behind . that also affects how fast or how slow you have to do these takeoffs, good stuff, this Cole thing, how important the wind is in its unpredictability, like sometimes, until you're in the air, you don't know where the wind is going to come from. wind. every time, well, on a jump like that, you absolutely go over the trees and the wind swirls a little bit, let's see what Coal Sealy does right, he doubles down with this quarter pipe towards the landing, but he doesn't physically use the quarter tube that We saw Biermann and Raha, but the carbon uses the jumps more, so it loses in some areas, but I really want to use different parts.
Check out these quarter pipe landing jumps. Very good job here by Sealy trying to use the entire course. Using where she is strong to her advantage, Celie is now gaining speed for the 140 foot jump, this is the big long jump on the field, she gets a good height, yeah, using the wind, uh, it's obviously coming from one side, like this let it whip into the wind, letting the wind bring. the bike back now we enter the section where you probably feel very comfortable oh jump over the berm oh I like that pretty quickly you skipped the middle piece now go back in the opposite direction so you can tell these riders they've done it a race now they are trying to be different, oh look at that, from a landing to the back of a takeoff, silly like I said, it won't kill it in the tricks department, but doing so well in the bike section almost seems like it's just Another day off the trackfor him, but this time he's not running the timer, he's just having fun being creative and from the wind you can see that the runway is drying out, so takeoffs and landings are getting a little more slippery, it's harder really. throw away the bike, abuse it, but it seems to be worth your money.
He has used this section several times. A time limit was set, but five minutes is enough time for these guys to get everything they want, so here comes Celie after that. running to the finish line, nice things, a different style that we see in Berman and Raha, but we will see how she behaves with the judges. Really very interesting her use of the countryside and the different routes she was taking. Yes, that's another one. one of those whips where you have the front wheel high and out on the side of the container here is a vertical wall right there able to mount it and then here just to the right side tilting that machine and in here you see use the wind spin the bike, that wind straightens her out, so she makes the most of those big jumps to do something technical, so that's a 90.5 for Cole Seeley which leaves him in third place and with the last two remaining ahead of him. who will be the inaugural imagination champion, current leader colby raja or the visionary behind this event tyler berman when we return bearman arrives for his second race you are watching the red bull signature series welcome back to the red bull series Signature, this is imagination of at an undisclosed location near the Kansas, Missouri border, a freestyle motocross course of this magnitude has never been seen before.
There are only two races left before we crown an inaugural champion. Kovira has the lead with 95. Tyler Bairman is second after his first run with 91, so that's the score to beat is about to go down this is a big moment for him Grant absolutely put his name behind this event, Of course, he involved other athletes, everyone enjoys this course, loves his obstacles, but of course for Bayern he wants to win, he has to figure out how to beat Raha and between races he passed. at least an hour just looking at the course trying to figure out what you could do differently, let's see if it brings anything new to the second race, remember you don't have to follow the exact course, you can be creative and it will add something different. he's still getting big highs and big whips, well you can tell now that they got that first run, he's starting to turn the bike a little more, oh and look we haven't seen that all day go completely.
I jump over the container, I mean, it's huge, he doesn't even touch it, I'm talking about going for it with a completely blind landing, so Biermann brings it in and he's taking a little breather once again, that's his corner, probably trying to find out what he's going to do. brings on the next section, oh that was huge, like I said, he's comfortable in the wind now I think he knows what this bike will do and he's really working hard, a big jump over the trees and almost a sigh of relief having arrived on the other side this is their trademark on the quarter pipe oh, that was huge.
I wish we had a little meter of feet to calculate exactly how high it went, but I have to imagine compared to Raha, that might have been a bit. a little high, he really committed, landed deep on that one and then a big whip, oh he's definitely going all out on this one so Tyler Bim and the guy who designed this course are really working hard to try to take the win. the score he needs to beat to have a chance now that he's in the more technical section of motocross towards the end of the course yeah doing some freestyle tricks let's see if he tries to mix things up a bit I think he's got more in the bag As far as creativity goes, he already showed us that in the first half of this race, he has simply improved his tricks a little, the whips a little flatter, a little more extension, a little more intensity and now he works these jumps. like I'm looking at something here, we're going to see some of these cross lanes coming up, oh yeah, a big cross jump that's extremely difficult, it doesn't look so difficult when you look from the landing side and you can see what the dust is like.
It's still blowing in the distance there's a massive crosswind that these guys are dealing with, but Biermann is comfortable at that point some of these riders were saying this course is so long that you don't really have much opportunity to practice each individual element much Oh, without a doubt, I mean you heard how long it took to build it. Imagine how long it took to figure out how to get over these jumps and get your timing down once you've nailed the basic jumps. Now you're trying to be creative. lanes all different and all the time the wind keeps twisting and changing so how hard you hit it it looks like biermann has come for another cross jump.
I think the judges are going to love this one of the few that actually crosses the The middle section saw a bit of that from Cole Seeley, but the other thing that's also easy to happen to these riders is getting lost on the course in the one they find. What are you going to do next? You don't want to be idle. it's not actually doing anything either, it's like you designed this entire course and then on this second run you're designing a completely different course on top of the course you just designed, yeah I think that might have been pre-planned too, these Guys are quite creative. they know what they like, they see what they see and when it gets to the finish line it was a good race there, oh a little kick from Biermann into the wind that wasn't expected, well it absolutely sent that in didn't it Tyler? biermann in his second run 95 is the score he needs to beat to have a chance of beating raha and there he was clearing that container completely oh yes, much more than 100 feet, it's a 40 foot container, it goes very high in the sky and then once again I'm not afraid of this quarter pipe, look at that width up there and it's as smooth in its landings as butter, I think the judges will notice that and of course the big jumps in the air and that unique whip that turns downwards.
I think it was a solid all-around race, oh man, I'm glad I held it to two right there, which was 97 is the score for Tyler Biermann. Really impressive race, he's the new leader, he's with Tina, so second. he runs in the books for tyler and the score of 97 puts him in the lead uh i seem really excited about it how does that second run compare to the first? The first one I had an overtake and in the middle of running and I forgot where I was going to go, so I kind of had my line marked of where I knew I wanted to go and I saw a window in the wind and I just went towards it, like that that I ended up basically turning the east side of the field into a full skate park and all these transfers that I've been watching, that's the cool thing about this contest, it's a new formula and you can do whatever you want there, it's basically a skate park , so it's whatever you want.
Look, there's no set race, there's a start and end of a line, but you can hit whatever you want on the sides of the jumps to whatever, so I'm excited, everyone else is excited about it and, yeah , I'm sitting in the lead, but We have a couple of tough days left, so we'll see where we end up in the end. Good job thanks, Tyler Bearman, taking the lead, one more runner to run in Salemma, thanks, Jack Tyler Bearman, adjusting his approach. and using his mastery of a course that emerged from his brain, he makes it perfectly into the transition sections, the judges respond by rewarding him with a 97.
One runner, however, remains Colby Raha, who has shown no fear in these huge features and has promised to throw a backflip. In his second run, who will be our inaugural Imagination Champion? You have to stick around to find out you're watching the Red Bull Signature series. Welcome back to the Red Bull Signature series for the imagination. The evolution of FMX. The Midwest winds have finally calmed down. The new leader of the Kansas Plains and the visionary behind this course, Tyler Bearman, just shot a 97 to regain the lead, but there remains one rider who can knock him off the top of the podium, Colby Raha, and now he's starting his second and last race, Grant well.
He got a 95 in the first round, very solid, I think if he can do some of his tricks a little cleaner, maybe a little more intensity and throw that backflip, that might be enough to take this rider so experienced. He made some. Colby Raha also rode bmx in the past and there's the backflip. He didn't waste any time on that. You see that little finger pointing to the sky. He's happy. He mentioned that he hasn't done a flip in a long time. A big natural jump on these wins makes it much harder to redo that initial section that falls a little short on that jump, so with the first little mistake, the only thing you have to be careful about is that you have that jump outside the So don't get lost along the way, don't forget what the rest of your races mean.
He needs to be clean to get a better score. Oh, the tricks are coming out now, aren't they? As he heads down. the container, as you mentioned, came up short before, one of the judges said that's one of the benefits they were hoping for while jumping on top of the container, is that it's such a long course that there will be little mistakes that can try to mark the riders and speaking of judges we have people available like robbie madison jeremy twitch stenberg ronnie renner all these guys with tons of experience in freestyle and the best to judge these riders, good race so far from kobe raha, now He has climbed that tree, the jump again reaches an enormous height, yes, but he is making some mistakes right there, it was obvious that he was not very comfortable.
This is where it's really strong. Can you nail this quarter pipe? Look at that skill upside down, the skill lands very high again, probably. "He's a little too close for his comfort, but Raha has eliminated that backflip, but he's made some mistakes. If the judges are really going to criticize that the victory will be very close, so far he's not doing the same tricks either. than us." I'm looking at some of those jumps like on the big 140, there he tried the can last time it didn't work so this time just a whip, yeah, and then in this section he lost a little bit of his speed and fluidity and I'm just wondering If you didn't think so much and for so long in the break about that backflip that you put all your attention on it and maybe lost a little bit of concentration and maybe a little bit of creativity in this part of the course as well.
He was so excited, wasn't he? when he performed the backflip. It's almost as if that was the only thing he was looking for in his entire career. Oh, no doubt, I mean, believe me, I'm being very critical right now just because he was the leader coming into this rap in this race, but Biermann stepped up, made everything better, cleaner, bigger and with more creativity, and with Kirby I see that maybe it's not as clean a run, but if we add the backflip, that balances out, so we Discuss, do we go back to 95? Good ending, okay, cross the line, then comes Colby Raja.
This will be a fascinating decision from the judges. The backflip was spectacular and overall it was a spectacular ride. Two spectacular runs for Colby in this one, but. It's about what the judges have to say, yes, that backflip was really worth extra points because the rest of it maybe not as good as this first run, but that is huge, absolutely spectacular, and then this was the quarter pipe, without room for doubt. I've just been the best at it all weekend, but I landed right on top and it's a 96 for Colby Raha, which is a close second for him. 97 for Tyler Bearman is enough to give him the inaugural imagination title.
They both congratulate each other on that. that was fun man yeah thanks proud of you buddy thank you so much god that was a bear man he enjoyed the spin but he'll also enjoy Colby Raja's 97 win against Cole Seeley's 96 in third and Ryan Sipes completing all four. Let's hear from our Winner with Tina and for Tyler, it's actually two wins, one, the dream course was built and two, the judges rewarded you for your performance of this course, how rewarding is that, yeah, first of all, just gratifying to be able to make my dream come true. uh jason baker with dream tracks obviously made a dream track here, this is a mix between a supercross influenced motocross course, freeride, bmx, to be able to have the whole line from start to finish and then have all these options of features you can jump from.
From one lane to the next it's like a skate park here, so the main thing was to show all the options and possibilities that could arise in something like this, so it was already a victory just to be able to pull this all together. and that my friends here and everyone are as excited as they were and cutting the cake to walk away with the victory. Congratulations again to you, solemn, congratulations to Tyler Behrman for his victory and to Kobe Rajaand cole seeley for completing the podium and the official. Ryan Sypes is always up for a challenge on two wheels, coming in an impressive fourth place.
Risk versus reward. Taking the risk of building a course of this magnitude and the reward of seeing the final product and then the subsequent risk of putting it together and executing the progression. that one envisioned and was able to do it safely along with Jason Baker and an amazing support staff. Tyler Bearman did just that, from a vision to a session with friends to the final competition, after his first race, he needed to try to figure out how one- he prepared Colby Raja, so he studied his position, adjusted in transitions in his second race and scored 97 out of 100 points, of course he gets our signature moment once again.
Thank you for hanging out with us today in Kansas on behalf of our entire team. including jack nichols Grant Langston and legend Tina Dixon. My name is Sulema Mastakela and I will see you next time.
