Five Guys VS Shake Shack - American Fast Food REVIEW | South Miami, Florida

it's actually the best thing that calmed the heat of the Cajuns and jalapenos hi everyone I'm David Hoffman from David been here in my hometown of Miami Florida today my wife and I are headed to Five Guys and the Shake Shack we're going to do a burger comparison these are two of the biggest burger chains in america there's an in and out too but we don't have an in and out in our state so we're doing

neighborhood we love these restaurants but we do once but today we are doing a taste test of 5 Guys vs Shake Shack so let's compare the prices of the burgers, fries and the general vibe and atmosphere i've eaten at both but i've never had them side by side it's going to be a lot of

food

so we headed first to

as far as i know five guys started mid l back to the 1980s in the Washington DC area and they have over 1,500 locations across the country here we go five guys oh my god awesome so fi five times burgers hot dogs sandwiches drinks fries lets go with a cheeseburger normal that has two burgers it's going to have tons of toppings they have I mean they have a lot of toppings here and we're also going to have fries I'm going to get small cajun fries which are very spicy and that's what you get I'm going to buy maybe a milk

to compare the five day one yeah mate very quiet it's like 3:00 and in the afternoon and there's a lot of people I mean to consider you know it's a summer day and it's raining good I'm going to order a cheeseburger I'm going to order grilled mushrooms jalapeño bbq sauce I'm going to order some cajun fries and they're going to go with a

whipped cream on top I think we're good when you expect to get it's peanut free so grab your table let's grab some free peanuts you're starting when you get here to quench your hunger so my total bill was 1720 she's bigger she got small fries in cages fries small and hung in a shake 17000 20c Understand what it costs one person to eat but if you basically go all out and part of the experience is also getting some peanuts and killing time as long as you stop them thank you so when you order five people , they give you I wrap it up in a brown paper bag and the fries are like everywhere here look at this oh it's so good I have a place in barbecue sauce that's a plus for me let me find my burger in some place.

Sure everyone has their own Well I'm going to have some fries with bbq sauce but it's still super hot though the cajun sauce is spicy but it's Berger ok so we got mushrooms jalapenos we got two empanadas, two pieces of cheese Wow so here we go wow my first bite the Big Cheese isn't it that's great that you have double cheese it happens a little too much it's very hot but the meat tastes fresh Muslims are creamy jalapenos are very spicy I think which is a great combination here this is a damn good burger i need to make this oh oh yeah any bbq sauce next we have the fries so there are three different sizes small regular and large i got the small so that what they do is fill all this and then they felt that I have another one that they throw in the back so small it's actually it's quite big I've never finished this coke thing and then I also buy it with a style or cajun so it's spicy style you can get a regular cage it's just a little extra season and they put on top so it's really spicy so take a lot of gravy and then Idaho potatoes some of the best in USA well that's a lot of frogs guys for me well

casual means salty cheap and delicious and that doesn't go here oh and we have one more thing to check out and that's the milkshake this is my first time trying the Five Guys milkshake you got whipped cream of chocolate on top obviously we have to go all out so it's actually the best thing that cooled down the heat from the cajun and jalapenos oh this chocolate is delicious I don't know what's going to look at the hot chili shake but it has a nice consistency and it's not too frozen you're really going to drink it easily man the whipped cream though actually my first time trying five kinds in the chain it's pretty good too ok it was super delicious now come on to Shake Shack now to my favorite we are literally driving two blocks the Shake Shack Shake Shack is a smaller franchise I think there are less than 200 worldwide Shake Shack started on the streets of New York City as a hot dog stand in the year 2001 in 2004 they opened their first location and started exploding from there it has become a cult phenomenon people all over the shake

you will see its right here i am starving so as soon as you walk in you realize this place feels a little more upscale and the price of all

or flex they have burgers have chicken they have put up hot dogs fry custard frozen to have shakes so let's do something similar let's get the burger

the shake burger shack let's get fries and shake this time i was going to eat some so they even have a dog menu too bad we don't have a very imp Orante, hey, how's it going with the buyers?

Double shock burgers let me have cheese fries and sorry the milkshake what is it black and white sorry black and white which is basically vanilla chocolate ok perfect but ok ok , that's it, they are a bit more high tech with their buzzers which you don't have. a number you only have a little buzzer its weight takes like five ten minutes so here's a secret sauce it's called The Shack sauce I have no idea what's in it obviously hardly anyone knows except the people who made it but it's unique to me I think that's Manny's base, I'll probably do some ketchup in there.

Who knows. However, something very unique about this burger joint is that they serve beer. and 36 cents each burger like E eight bucks and fifty cents so subtract my wife's burger and the price is about the same as bye guys very little difference yeah three different dollars kind of not huge I mean It's obviously huge if you're on a budget, yes thank you thank you. you got a lot of burger with two patties 100% angus beef we have cheese fries these fries are a little different and a vanilla fudge shake well let's dig in hmm they are cheesy like sure turn on they don't offer all the toppings they buy that It offers lettuce, tomato, two empanadas and, to be such, head cheese.

Wow, it feels so different. I think we also have a major in lettuce here. It has a different taste. yes I love it a mustard but tomatoes and lots of super crush and as you can see here we have Shake Shack sauce it looks masculine but it's definitely not masculine it tastes completely different than Shake Shack sauce elevates the flavor than me oh my gosh so two different types of fries here plain cheese and cheese and bacon we didn't want to go too crazy with a bacon whose eyes and cheese because it looks cool yeah so the style is called crinkle cut are good, but definitely spicier than Five Guys fries.

I look like the fighter. I was more surprised just because they are crunchier and the house seasoning. This one is simpler. I definitely love cheese. for dessert so vanilla and it's how fudge is real ice cream and step by step not cheap soft serve is so blurry so it's like a thicker milkshake yeah if you've rocked your name you better be well this is my favorite burger. I love shock sauce and I don't like the extra toppings I just think I'm a front pierced lettuce and tomato it's so yummy I think it's so much better than the flag we rode straight I agree not They overcook the meat. it's like it's not pico but it's so good root vegetables we added the five guys and Shake Shack we had a double cheese we were at both places we got fries and we had a shake the 5s burger what I love is a jalapeno mushroom bbq sauce it's a very juicy ingredient stuffing burger is really good they have a lot more toppings I just chose just those three fries Five Guys they are crispy spicy and there are plenty of them even the small order the shake was ok it was nothing special it's like a shake never had had nowhere in the world, this squeeze burger blew my mind.

I don't know what minute. I don't know if I've tried it before, but it's so good, but what I like the most is that it's very simple. Lettuce, tomato, two empanadas, two. chunks of cheese and then obviously that Shack sauce which is out of this world the fries are mediocre what I liked is that they are cut differently and the cheese part but they are too sorry for me the shake it was amazing it was wit vanilla h fudge what y'all have to try that shake tasted like ice cream expensive the burgers thats hard i give you both a ten the fries definitely five guys the shakes definitely Shake Shack so the atmosphere i mean if you want something calm down relax guys you want something more successful and upbeat come here you got beat up if you have kids they can come here and play foosball or play ping pong so its cool five guys the price is from about seventeen dollars here at Shakers, about twenty dollars. so there's not a huge difference in price, but it is a difference if you're on a budget.

Would definitely do a two burger challenge again.
