Mar 20, 2022
so the main villain of

batman

is the riddler a character who honestly has always been one of my favorite

batman

antagonists i mean in the comics he's this guy who thinks he's so smart he leaves batman a lot of puzzles to solve in order to guide you. straight to the scene of the crime it's like the nerdiest attempt at a Chad move which is why I was so excited to see him here in this movie reimagined as a terrifying masked serial killer a nightmarish zodiac killer for the Instagram age driven by the determined goal of getting people to watch his internet videos about Gotham city's deep lore oh no hello internet welcome to

film

theory

the show that encourages you to go inside adam west and press the subscribe button so loud it says "off your glasses remember never to press a man with glasses well folks hot on the heels of the smash hit that was batman v superman well it

seems

like it took some time but batman is finally ready to take flight here in 2018 2019 just in time for the summer blockbusters for halloween for the top of

2022

I'm doing that too. What's up? DC Kids Fandom I'm so excited to give you a little sneak peak of the new Fat Wheels show even the next flash movie is apparently a Batman movie ok so maybe the world is a little saturated with Batman content these days , which makes it ironic that today I don't want to talk about the movie that we got, but I want to talk about the movie that we're going to have you guys watch since the release of the movie. occurs at the end of this movie just to recap where we left things off when Batman concludes that the Riddler, aka Edward Nashton, turns out to be basically some dumb Batman fan who thought he was helping the crime-fighting mission with his clues. and honestly Batman needs all the help he can get considering he manages to thwart, say, a third of the riddler's big evil plan for sure that almost all of the specific people that the riddle sets out to kill are killed and Gotham City is flooded just as he planned, but I guess Batman managed to stop like most of an attack on a major political event, so along the way he learns that for To really improve Gotham, he's going to need to check his privilege, brush up on his Spanish, and recalibrate his brand a bit, considering one of the gunmen in the finale repeats his I'm vengeance catchphrase to him.

More Interesting Facts About,

film theory not what he seems the batman 2022...

It's good that he's already caught the riddle at that point because it

seems

like he's going to need a day to process that one talks about catching the riddle, he has a last scene depressed in a cell in arkham asylum and this is where we finally get to the conversation. The one everyone's been talking about and the one I want to focus on for today's episode, since we obviously don't have footage from the new movie. Let me set the scene. A sterile cell dye it red. More red. More red. something yes, there's the perfect riddle, sad and confused footsteps in his room, suddenly, a voice from the next cell says

what

is it that they say, one day you're on top and the next you're a clown, let me tell you that there are worse things than being hey hey hey don't be sad you did so well and you know gotham loves a comeback story who are you well that's the question isn't it a riddle? the less you have the better a friend and then they both laugh but not like normal laughs they both sound like two teenagers exchanging fortnite memes on the playground and the scene now we don't really see who this person is the actor is barry kyogen and He's only credited as Arkham's unseen inmates, but his face seems to be disfigured somehow, so between the high-pitched pre-teen laugh the clown references and the scars, clearly everyone immediately thinks this guy is the joker. and it certainly makes sense that he's the best Batman villain every time.

This property's version is always in a rush to get him there and there have been rumors that kyogen's undisclosed role would specifically be a version of the joker and yet I'm not so sure huh mate it feels too easy too predictable , No. right now im trying to register that you are already a movie studio fighting the perception that it keeps repeating itself why would you make your big build up something everyone was so sure they could see coming and at the same time why? you run such a big risk that any choice of joker is immediately compared to heath ledger's iconic portrayal in the dark knight and that's not a comparison as many actors can win a bad joker too early in your series it can really kill your chances before you have a chance to spread your wings, right?
film theory not what he seems the batman 2022
Jared Leto really Bruce Honor we live in a society like I said that's why I think batman is actually fooling us they are leading us astray they are setting up a different batman arch nemesis one that would work much better for the world than this movie created a guy called silence seriously

what

i'm trying to record yeah hey hey hey senior editor dan here you might want to see this one of the lines of the scene that's not there is that invisible prisoner tells him that he says that It's almost our anniversary, isn't it? and that character who is the character you think is wait so he is the character i think he is they already just confirmed my

theory

of silence no it doesn't matter you are missing the point here the reason why the joker in the movie is batman he's so nervous because the riddle is writing to him and so he goes to see another killer that he's clearly had an experience with and this killer in this story isn't the character that we get to know yet so here we have a joker who is not the joker yet oh yeah wait when did this come out on march 4th?
That is literally the day the movie was released. trademarks of theory fodder only to reveal the answer the same day but i just finished the script i just walked into the recording booth i know man i know it hurts life has been a cruel joke on him and he will eventually declare himself a clown declare himself the joker oh shut up matt reeves i get it you've done enough damage well there's a new finger salad you want to talk about you should shut up wait what that he should shut up, yes, that's all, everyone is wrong. the director is wrong about his own movie all of them the director the studio are all wrong about inserting the joker into this world this character should shut up it would work better it would make more sense heck the easter eggs are already there in the movie as long as take out all these director interviews in the world you have something that could really work you're really going through this huh going through what they give making the movie better making these business decisions at wb and dc makes sense yeah yeah i step aside now my friend i have a theory to record ok good luck oh boy created by jeff loeb and jim lee in 2002 hush it's a bit tricky have you noticed most of the main batman villains are commenting directly or not the batman somehow two face is a guy with two characters as someone who is rich during the day and a vigilant bat at night the penguin is a cr low life iminal kaz plays a rich aristocrat a direct commentary on the billionaire chasing him batman is a man pretending to be a bat but what happens when you have a bat pretending to be a man?
Batman look, not all of them need an elaborate explanation, but while all these other villains are comments on Batman, silence is the villain. that's basically the evil version of bruce wayne in the original story of silence, a boy named thomas elliott grows up as bruce's childhood friend, but while bruce wayne became batman after the tragic murder of his beloved parents, the Eliot's parents were abusive and neglectful and his origin begins with trying to engineer their deaths in an accident so he can inherit the fortune, but when the time finally comes, Elliott only manages to kill his father, Thomas saves his mother's life. wayne thwarting his inheritance plan driving him further into madness and leaving him with a permanent grudge against the wayne family from that starting point thomas elliot grows to become a brilliant surgeon with a chip on his shoulder during story number 11 he finds out that bruce wayne is batman and obsessed with taking him down to do this he manipulates just about everyone including the prankster, the poison ivy killer, the crocodile, even superman as part of his elaborate plan and here's the kicker, the reason From which he knows about the Bruce Batman connection, Hush's secret partner figures out. the one who is smart enough to put it all together the riddle they come together they are friends just like we see them become friends in arkham at the end of batman that's all they shared a story and worked together once that's your big evidence no no it's not that , obviously, that would be too big a jump, I mean, I don't want to be that guy, but have you seen these channels?
I'm going to choose to ignore in this new movie, the riddler's grudge against the waynes began when he was a boy living in an orphanage that was to be funded by a wayne family charity, which then lost funding when the waynes were killed, the riddle has a theory. A conspiracy theory that his death was not a random act of violence in a rambling explainer video trying to prove that Thomas Wayne, while running for Gotham mayor, called for a hit on a tabloid journalist he was ready to expose about his wife martha being treated for mental illness in arkham when the deal goes wrong the waynes are murdered but what is important here is the images that appear on the screen the journalist who is allegedly murdered is called edward elliott and then we see the word silence scrawled on tv screen elliot hush they're trying to tell us something it's an easter egg sure it's pretty explicit but what is our scarred friend saying in his dialogue at the end of the new movie y'all? ne loves a comeback story in that vein it doesnt really make much sense if we assume this is the joker oh no he was caught off screen in the first year of batman in a movie that never got made and now hes back in the sequel sure I guess, but what if this guy was thought to be dead and is looking to surprise everyone with his return?
Now does the line really fit with edward elliot or better yet what if it's edward elliot's son returning? Thomas another boy orphaned thanks to Gotham's corruption, but unlike Bruce, who grows up and internalizes that to become a force for good, this boy grows up to take a different path, one of spreading fear and murder. , that comeback line also makes a lot of sense with Hush's story, he himself is a comeback. the story of bruce and his childhood together and his great plot to take down batman in the comics revolves around making it look like jason todd has returned from the dead everyone loves a comeback story i mean sure but the director said bu Beyond the connection to the riddle and Easter eggs, the hidden movie makes the most sense for this version of Batman.
This Batman is a detective. He walks slowly. He monologues about his thoughts. villain someone who manipulates things from the shadows by pulling the strings tends to work best in any story where there are elaborate conspiracies or people are digging into the not so pure pasts of thomas and martha wayne just like the riddle is doing here in this first film silence comes from comedic stories like batman r.i.p and heart of hush where the villains investigate old dark rumors of the wayne family connections to things like drug scandals and allegations that alfred is the biological father of bruce also thematically thomas elliott just makes more sense batman's version of bruce wayne he's not some perfect guy who's figured out his entire mission but essentially gets dressed up by catwoman n about how actually guys like bruce wayne are the problem in places like gotham and, in that context, a villain like thomas elliot is to silence someone from the world of bruce wayne who lives in the same type of double life but with the opposite values and the mission of the mirror. be the perfect way tocontinue to drive that point home you don't talk about selena anymore kyle calla kidnaps her then surgically removes her heart and holds it hostage in a story arc so you know that in this new cinematic universe she would have her hanging out and available for that, that's kinda weird not gonna lie but also look at the casting and design of this guy well Barry Keoghan's disfigured joker face is meant to be a birth defect forcing his version of the character to have a smile permanent, has this congenital disease. he can never stop smiling and if this is something that has touched him since he was born and he has had this very dark reaction and he knows how to get into your head, we know it from the comics.
Hush's face is constantly wrapped in bandages as some kind of invisible man cosplay. He does this to hide the fact that he's had surgery on his face, so if they wanted Barry to suddenly not be the joker, you could say, oh yeah, these are bad scars from plastic surgery. It is also worth mentioning that Thomas Elliot has surgery on his face to become bruce wayne, he literally changes his face to become a double of bruce in a movie universe where bruce is a recluse and hides inside the batman cowl for about 95 into the runtime, he leaves the door open for hush to assume the identity of bruce in the daylight to wreak havoc, at which point the real bruce needs to deal with his and his family's demons to realize that being With a privileged rich kid comes responsibilities that he can't just dress up and go through to avoid, in fact, that movie would force Bruce to realize that Bruce Wayne, based on all his money and privilege, probably has more power to change than Batman ever had with his fists ok that's great i reckon i pay you to say that but i appreciate it you do it anyway we should also consider age here joker a in most media is supposed to be older than batman by about 10 years while hush is supposed to be a contemporary of batman they grew up together as childhood friends at age 29 barry kyogen is slightly younger than robert batman Pattinson, 35, that age difference could certainly work with a hush dynamic, but it would definitely be a bit unusual to see him in joker form, and last but not least, during the end credits of this new movie. go to a website www.rotalata, the winged rat who pretends to be the sight of the riddle, has actually been around since the first trailers for the movie, but is now constantly updated with new files of the riddle so you can investigate within her conspiracy a lot of them are just really cool assets from the movie you get close ups of the Riddler sanctuary some of the surveillance photos she took of the corrupt elite Martha Wayne being treated in Arkham and of course a lot of cip she must figure it out when you finish your daily dose of Wordle.
I have it for today. Five thanks for rubbing it in anyway. This file is great and I highly recommend everyone to view it but there are two files in the zip drive that I wanted to specifically call out first in image zero one we have a man missing a face wrapped in bandages who could be his victims wrapped up on duct tape ok but just wanted to point it out though what is much more interesting is the Riddler's diary it's a nine page pdf where we see his descent and madness it starts with him suspecting something is wrong in the town he's frustrated by the elite sitting on their thrones and he is determined to find the corruption that exists beneath the surface in the end, though he is filling the pages with line after line of renewal i know what i must become and i have no escape only page after page after page of ramblings and scribbles looking at it, it was suspicious to me that they included so much of this so I decided to take a closer look and when you do you can start to make out some fo signatures that look like the shape of eyeballs so i darkened the image and clearly you get faces two strong points for batman ears his glaring eyes and someone. lurking behind him is just the riddle for sure maybe probably but i like to think this whole rabbit hole of a plot is hinting at what's to come next and that face to me is very similar to what we see from hush legitimately that's great regardless whether silent or not, here is the tl dr. i think barry kyogen is probably the joker yes he is again that was fully confirmed but i hope its not batman rogues gallery its packed with amazing characters that were built to reveal interesting facets of the character i understand why everyone is in such a rush to get a joker out, but guess whose story matters the most?
The dark knight worked not just because the joker was in it, but because the team that made the movie understood why the joker was there and spoiler alert the answer wasn't just to sell tickets don't get me wrong I love the character I thought the new joker movie was great but we see it all the time batman has 26 animated movies and the joker appears in at least 16 of them that's 61 in live action movies we've seen the joker five times in the last 30 years in television. Gotham gave us like three people who weren't technically the joker, but they were obviously something like that. joker i'm excited to see something different with these characters and this new batman movie started to give it to me and i want it to continue when i look at the world of this new movie the silence feels like a perfect fit there's a comedic story that connects it to the riddle, the easter eggs that have already been laid out for mr jay could easily be transplanted to thomas elliott, oh, scarred bruce wayne doppelganger and i honestly think the potential of the story is just as strong, if not stronger So, in the end, my point is that I love all of these characters and sometimes seeing less of one allows us to see more of all of them, but hey, that's just a theory, a theory of the movie and cut um, like that that i'm just leaving matt didn't really say goodbye so just kind of stayed for the final card um oh final card well i guess you can click on this video here it will take you to the theory or there's this one right here you can do click on that one too laugh great uh subscribe i know it helps us keep our jobs i guess i'll watch my way out
