Film Theory: Gravity Falls ISN'T OVER! (Bill Cipher LIVES!)

Lee, why don't we see a yellow eye with an elongated pupil at the end? The iconic appearance of someone under the control of Bell Cipher! Well... it's because Bill only checks on Stan when he goes to sleep! Now, before you go to the comments and tell me there's a huge logical fallacy here, hear it from me. It's definitely something Bill has done in the past, specifically with Stan's brother Ford! In the official book "Journal 3", Ford describes the deal he made with Bell thirty years before the events of the series occur. He allowed Bill to enter his mind and control his body, but as part of the terms of the deal, Bill had the right to control Stan Ford's body only when he was sleeping!

Page 118 of Diary 3... "I woke up this morning to find that my divine muse was true to her word! In my notebook were six hours of beautiful calculus masterpieces! Perfectly proportioned to keep me on time." However, what began as a mutually beneficial relationship was quickly destroyed when Ford began to fear Bell's influence and was actively trying to stay awake, fearing that Bell would continue to control his body again when he fell asleep. "A while in bed, only to wake up and find myself at my desk, looking at strange etched marks underneath... He's taking advantage of me while I sleep." That tells us that it's very possible that Bill is simply controlling Stan's mind during the night!

, I was shocked! Is it crazy how close these two characters are to each other? It's like they've been connected on a deeper level all along. I mean, they're the only two characters who ever called Ford "The Six." "Hey, how's it going, Six?" "A deal's a deal, Six!" That is a very strange coincidence!

They both tell people to buy gold before the end of the world is imminent: "Buy gold" - "You were buying gold, right?" And they're both doing that "any mini-mini-you" thing of choosing at random: "One way to get your way, different body, different time!" In the episode "Teasing" (Season 1-Episode 5) we see Mabel hallucinating in which a giant dog speaks backwards and tells her not to trust her uncle. We've already discussed how backwards speaking tends to have a connection to Bella, and "Now we have someone talking backwards to us and telling us not to trust. Uncle Stan knows best.

We have a lot of secrets on the show, but there wasn't any secret that was so serious that we couldn't trust him. This also gives us new meaning to the introductory badge code, which says: "Stan is not what he seems."
