May 09, 2020
Hey guys, what's going on? I'm sure TSX and today I have a very special video for you, but a quick warning: we are fighting one of the optional

final

boss

es in Final Fantasy 7, so if you have the game or plan to play it, of course, I suggest you stop this video and you play alone, the game is rarely amazing, like I was surprised how much I love this game, so you should play alone, this won't spoil it for you. You know big story secrets or something, but it still gives you an idea of what the endgame is like, you know, the battles are because I'm playing the hardest optional

boss

again on Hard difficulty and yeah, we'll discuss endgame strategies and you know. the fighting system and all that, but if that doesn't bother you then welcome stick around and hopefully you'll learn you know a thing or two now quickly, you also know because this is a pretty long video and if you're just here for the fight against the

final

boss, don't try to enjoy the fight.

That boss you know starts at exactly the 20 minute mark of the video, so you can feel free to jump right in there, but keep in mind that I will. I'll be talking about most of the strategies involved in the previous bosses because I feel like most of the strategies that you really need to understand or know how to handle happen before the actual final boss, in fact, I had the hardest time

beat

ing Muhammad. Which is that you know the fourth of five bosses was fighting here, so you know, in the ending of Pride and Joy, the boss was actually, you know, the first time I got there, I killed him, so of all Anyway, take that for what it is, I'm sure.

More Interesting Facts About,

Your experience may be different, but the point is, I'll appreciate it if you actually stick around for the whole video because we'll have a fun little discussion and we'll have time anyway, let's get straight to the first boss, which is, of course. Shiva now, you could say that Shiva is the only boss that you really want to specifically prepare for, you know, compared to everyone else, because he's also the only elemental boss, obviously, you know, be nice to everyone else, whether it's the Fat chocobo Leviathan Mohammed or

pride

and joy, it's all you. I don't know elemental nor do I have other things too, you know complement, actually the funny thing is that if you make me read ice, that also helps with Leviathan, but we'll get there anyway, the point is that you see all those air frost attacks. she does unknown things now, those are incredibly annoying and deadly if you don't actually have immunity to ice, so it's almost a necessity if you ask me now, of course, one way to do it is to get your elemental matter, you put it.

In one of the, you know two linked slots in your armor and combine them with ice matter, allowing you to know the level of resistance to ice, of course, the level of resistance depends on the level of your actual elemental matter, as you can see here. My Tifa has rank two elemental material, which means that all ice attacks are, you know, deal no damage, she's immune to them, but then you can notice that my cloud actually has a level 1 elemental material because, unfortunately, he took half the damage from the ice. They are not completely leveled out for me yet.

You know, I recently finished the game and I haven't even gotten to the end. You know, all the chapters on Hard difficulty, in fact, I'm only up to chapter 4. I mean. Listen, I definitely could have spent more time leveling up all my

weapon

stuff and stuff, but you know, I felt like I really wanted to do this while I wasn't, you know, ridiculously overpowered, so anyway, first thing what I did was said: you know a boss with, like, you know Shiva, you definitely want to make sure your immunities and stuff are taken care of because as you can see, you know here's the only one who took the right hit and she almost died from that.
The tactic that you've definitely seen me use, you know almost all the bosses and we'll have plenty of time to talk, is to make sure that you actually do enough damage and the only way to do that in Final Fantasy 7 is pretty. a lot to stagger the opponent now of course if you don't know what that is that's the little orange bar under the health where you can currently see you know the boss is being pressured which means they're staggering him even more , but anyway. I said a lot of our discussion today is going to focus on awe, in fact well the next boss is phat chocobo which I guess makes them pretty good, you know what the example of how to do awe is so again , the whole wow thing is up to you. you want to make sure you're doing all the skills and the damage you know maximizes the amount of stagger you're putting on your enemy now the best way to figure out how that all works is to just go and read each of these skills you know explain most of the decisions I'm making, like every time you see me change the cloud and use something like this, you know, focus first or every time you see me use TF ozone on the power and you know the consecutive normal little technological hits are actually what you know that gives you a huge amount of awe, like those are all things that you should have an idea of because they all help you build up awe much faster and most importantly with most of these bosses.
What I don't exclude about that chocobo is that it is a bit difficult to make them stagger, in fact when you meet Bahamut that is practically the biggest problem because he will rather kill you than let you stagger him and obviously you will have the same problem with many others bosses and fights you know throughout the entire game, but being amazed is pretty important anyway. I'm actually using Tifa quite a bit too, as you can see, because she's the only character who can actually level up. of damage that you're the boss is taking at the perfect time now that I've stunned Choka, but you can see that I'm using her triangle ability so that she, you know, goes up and down, uh, I hit, what's your ability. you actually need to use your form of unbridled force or what he called and as you can see, the amount of stagger right now has increased from the default one hundred and sixty percent to two hundred and sixty, which is why all of his moves and all of the clouds They move. and everyone else's attacks right now we're doing a ton of damage so that's really key and that's why you see me jump to t4 quite a bit when it comes to these fights because she's amazing actually, you know, going up from range. like not just stagger but also a ton of damage once you managed to stagger your opponent, the other thing you may also notice is that some of the skills you know work very well together, like one of the other skills you actually see. use with teef all the time is starfall, which is the one she likes, oh okay, a lot of you know, little hits that look like her version of Omni strike, now the idea with the rain of FIFA Stars isn't that it itself does a ton of damage, which it actually does, but it's that it makes the next attack ridiculously powerful, so you almost always want to use something like Starfall and then move on. with another attack that you already know, whether it is powerful. you know something like Omni Strike or if you use what is Focus Strike as one of the final normal abilities you get, it doesn't matter, the point is that this is how you can optimize the damage and again, so far the fights shouldn't have been difficult especially.
If you knew ice invulnerability, you'd know that Shiva and Fat Joe Google are pretty easy, but ironically, I want to use the time somehow because this is all improvised, but the Leviathan we're encountering now is pretty much the first boss you could I found some more serious problems. I have to say at this point it's not that hard anymore, but mainly because I think I figured out how to deal with his attacks, but Leviathan can actually be a pain because you can see that. You only know two hit points for most of his stances and when he's sitting there you can hit the dorsal fin like you're halfway up his body or you can just jump up to his head and smash him that way.
Now, a couple of things here to start, you can notice that I'm actually using Aerith quite a bit during all of these fights, right? I rarely switch to it, you know intentionally and then I stay like that? There is a very good reason for that. and it's not because I hate everything, quite the opposite, the thing is with all these boss fights, um, you know, Leviathan is definitely one of them, Shiva had the exact same ability when he mentions his little icy familiars, the problem is that they all seem to attack whoever you're actually controlling at the moment, the perfect example is the spinning dip you see right now because I'm on cloud nine.
Leviathan will actually target the cloud, now the cloud can easily block it like you just saw and it takes a thousand damage. which isn't a big deal, but if you were Arif, you'd take a lot more damage because you know she can't do it as efficiently, and if you do, even worse option words, which means you know to take your controlling character and put her right in the middle of your other characters, that's one of the attacks that can literally wipe out your entire party in a matter of seconds because it will hit them all correctly, that's why I never jumped the Aerith because seeing all that mechanics you already know from The Boss targets any character you're controlling.
The problem with Aerith is that she instantly gets all this, you know, like ranged attacks and pretty much things that she's not really equipped to deal with. Ironically, her attacks are actually ridiculously powerful. You'll see me use Tempest all the time, which is like an awesome ability, except with a lot of these bosses, you know, they have a counterattack mechanic where you hit them with a long range attack if you fight you. meet the strongest Tom berries, as you know, the bow range is six bouts, which is practically the second most difficult in exactly the same.
She knows about the simulation if you fight those Tom berries. I'm sure you've noticed that the moment you start, you know, throw any kind of ranged attack at them, they just throw a round at you, which pretty much kills you, unless you're mu or at least that binds you, the point is to make sure you've actually realized that you know how to do it. That works and you'll notice that's exactly what I'm doing for a fight like Leviathan because every time you know he leaves this in the level you know his position and he flies out you know out of the level like he's now getting ready to do one of his ranged attacks, which again is why I'm smoking, you know, cloud, you want to switch to whichever character is the tank to the east and move away from everyone else so you don't hit everyone, like yeah, okay. , here I have a challenging blow. but well, I can't do everything right, you know, the other little tip for the violin, by the way, is you know it's obviously very weak to lightning, so that's a good way to do it, but the other thing is which seems to be where some of his attacks seem to be ice based so all you know is to be a mule against ice because of Shiva and because elemental matter actually seems to work in your favor, full of ions , and it doesn't actually negate all the damage, but you can definitely tell that at least some of his attacks, you know, are force input, which is awesome and, for the record, with all of these, you know, boss fights are a of the main things.
I mean, I'll probably go over my entire setup. right after the video, but one of the main things I really tried to do is that you know how to stack stats in terms of armor pieces and

weapon

s and how you even specify your weapons, all of that in this case is geared towards magic defense because most of these, you know, I mean, there are a few that make sense, but most of them actually cast magic spells with a key, so it tends to help quite a bit anyway, the point is that the violin is pretty hard to wobble generally speaking, but here I got pretty lucky, as you'll see, because it's about the cast, you know, the

ultimate

skill tidal wave that's probably going to put me in a desperate situation right now, but since it's so close to wowing me, just do a little more. damage and you'll see exactly what happens and the rest is pretty much history, especially considering how long you know the health was already now, the only phase we didn't really see and you know, this little fight because I killed him pretty quickly is the one where we actually he starts flying around the inside of the stage and you can't really hit him with normal attacks or you can, but it's not really efficient, so it's best to start attacking each individual part, be it the head or the back. fin or the tail fin and everyone knows they trade immunities with each other, but again, there's nothing you need to worry about if you're taking care of the rest of the stuff because that's probably one of the easiest stages of the fight.
You have to make sure you avoid those pesky little tornadoes of water or whatever.skip it. I'll keep quiet for the actual scene in case you want to watch it and we'll talk after you've achieved a well-made cloud. to fully harness the potential that was once locked within you now that my research is finally complete. I think it's time I tell you the truth about myself. I am not human. I am a cyborg created to serve as Hojo's assistant. It was given to me. knowledge and power beyond that of a human, but my free will was stolen from me and I was forced to obey my master's whims, but when we met Cloud, I sent something within you, something that I knew would allow me to free myself from my chains identifying and studying a topic.
With infinite potential like you, I was able to fulfill the directives placed on me while pursuing my plans for independence and secrets. Its combat data provided me with the vital information I needed to improve my basic functionality. This is the result of my research and with your help I have freed myself from Hojo's slavery. I can't thank you enough for your help. You've given me the power to finally live life on my own terms. So what are you going to do now? I'm not sure it's all one big wonderful mystery. It's nice to not know something for a change, okay, I just want to let you see that in case you know you care about the story in that sense, but um.
Yeah anyway that was it that's the

ultimate

weapon trophy which again is possibly the hardest boss and this is the item you get for

beat

ing him as you can see it means you enter the battle with a limit gauge full breakout limit and your breakout limit appears to be classified. I went up a little faster afterwards, now I haven't had much time to play with this because I already figured it out and decided, hey, let's record a quick comment because I have a lot of other work to do too, but of the few battles I actually fought with it, it's ridiculously overpowered and you literally go in and you can already pull it off, you know one of the clouds' Limit Breaks, which means you pretty much kill almost every enemy you don't know and anything else won't survive the second one, so clearly ridiculous. element like the name and Gotterdammerung like with German hoes or whatever, but anyway the point is definitely also the final element.
I'm not sure if I should really use it because of how powerful it actually ends up being, but anyway To finish this video, I'm going to quickly show you my belt, not because I have anything special, but just so you can see, you know the direction I was going. Now, obviously this isn't the only way I motto my weapons or how I use my materia, but for a fight like this I felt like it was pretty much the appropriate way to go, as I mentioned throughout the entire thing. video, it basically comes down to making sure you have enough health, making sure you have resistances to the things you need, and don't over-equip unnecessary things because you're obviously dealing with limited space.
You'll see that I pretty much didn't use much elemental magic the only time I tried slow casting and Bahamut was the only time I thought about it. He's immune to it, so there's no point in even trying. You might want to experiment with things like casting haste on everyone, but the problem is, as you know, the only player I've ever really made, I only have one of those magnify. materials that allow you to multiply the same ability for everyone or the same spell for everyone in your party and I want to use it for healing because it's so much better when you can cast a spell that heals everyone instead of what you know.
Yeah, I rushed them all, it's pretty powerful, but I still can't cure them all, so unless I use prayer and prayer is great, don't get me wrong, but you know, just because it needs to be bait cages, Yes, it's not the easiest. use the ability unless you're literally keeping your Aerith on the sidelines waiting to use prayer, so obviously knowing how to magnify healing is a much better option, but that's pretty much as you can see. Definitely not even you know. a lot of my purple materials um the basic cloud ones are pretty much what I've used throughout the entire game as you know deadly dodge and something like the first tricycle is actually very useful in quite a few fights but honestly it's not the most necessary for In a fight like this, the only material that you may not have spent a lot of time considering is the ATP booster material, which is the yellow one, which is ridiculously useful, like the way I mainly use it, included and this fight was for you. that in FIFA when you're about to stagger someone or there's a long time until the staggers activate, so you usually don't cool down and save it for when you're trying to exploit damage because you know it helps.
The same goes for Aerith, a PB barrier that you know increases the rate at which you actually know how to replenish your ATP gauge, but again, that's not the most useful thing unless you're dealing with a very stationary enemy and all these fights against bosses. None of them were really standing in one place, possibly with the exception of Pride and Joy, but even there I don't think it would have been that helpful, so that's it. This was something I don't like. this comment was surprisingly quick at least from my perspective, I mean, 30 minutes. Wow, okay, I guess we didn't really have time to talk too much about the game itself, it was mainly strategic tactics and how to deal with these specific bosses, but Hello, I hope you learned something.
I'm going to do a full hard mode playthrough of Final Fantasy 7 because I was thinking about streaming my first playthrough or, you know, turning that into a video, but I ended up wanting to focus on the game itself because Like I said, I love it, you know, I enjoy the game, unfortunately for everyone else, I guess it takes priority, so I just wanted to enjoy it, not worrying about distractions or possible spoilers or anything like that, but now that I'm done and playing it on hard mode, it's the perfect time to do it. I already recorded the first four chapters, in fact, I'm going to fill in a little bit, you know, get everything, make sure the actual playback is cinematic and exposition. a story and all that, or I'm doing the best I can anyway, the benefit without all that is that when you play on Hard difficulty, it actually makes the game a little harder because, like I said, you can't regenerate things like mana, you can't use items, there are quite a few limitations, which makes it a little bit more like one of those games you know, Dark Souls or neo or blood, where it's a lot more about survival and future planning. and you know, I'm using certain weapons that actually gave me much better regeneration and things in that direction, but anyway, that's coming up, those are some other little projects that I'm working on both in Fantasy 7 and some other things from Topol. being Last of Us actually, but that's all for today.
I hope you learned something. I hope you found it entertaining and that you stay and I'll see you next time. Peace.
