I grabbed this tray with some cute sea turtles and I used some white spray paint I'm using the Rust-oleum ultra matte in white I took the tray out, pushed it out and gave it two coats until I couldn't see the sea turtles anymore once it was completely dry then I brought it back inside.

Took two 12 inch pieces of rope, tied a knot in each end of the rope, and hot glued the rope to the ends of the tray to create little handles, such a quick and easy way to get a really cute tray, for Of course yes. It is not necessary to use the tray only in the bathroom, here it is at the end of a bed. I really love trays in my house in general, it's just a way to tie things together into a really nice cohesive look and I really love how this tray turned out and I was able to make it for just over $1 for my next project.

I grabbed three glass jars from Dollar Tree, they all have some type of lid attached. I'm also using the little black stickers and some Mod Podge. You can get a 2 ounce Mod Podge at Dollar Tree. You can also buy it whenever you want, although it is a better price to get two ounces of Mod Podge at Walmart instead of the 8 ounces per ounce. I learned it from Megan with the glue guns. and roses or if you want to get the best price, you can use a coupon at Hobby Lobby to get started. I'm just dabbing some isopropyl alcohol on a cotton ball and wiping the inside and outside of the jars to get some.

From the residue that is in the jars I am now placing the stickers on my jars. I like to use a ruler to line up my stickers and then I can place them where I want. I place them in the jar and then carefully peel them off the ruler so they are placed exactly where I want them. I may have to reposition them a little but overall this will work fine for me, it's one of the best ways I've found to do this and it just helps me with my placement, first of all with the letter spacing, so It's a quick and easy way to do it, so for the two covers where there's nothing on top, I like to go ahead and place the words on top. the lids and then for the jar that has that little knob whatever you want to call it on the top.
I'm actually going to place the letters directly on the glass like I mentioned in the intro, this is for my daughter and these will be handled a lot so I'm going to use Mod Podge just to make sure everything stays nice and secure. I finish by going over them with two coats of Mod Podge. I let one coat dry before adding the second coat. Now you will find that you end up with a light texture as a result of this, so if this is not something you like and you are okay with not securing it, you can absolutely skip this step.
I put the Mod Podge on The lids and glass now Mod Podge are not waterproof but they are and that's the other reason I add this here is to protect it as it goes into your bathroom once it dries. Sure, but as you can see, it leaves that texture, so if you don't like it, you can choose not to do the Mod Podge, but I think it still turned out beautiful and I love this in her bathroom. I filled it with cotton. rounds and Q-tips and some Epsom salt for her to have when she wants to use it and of course you can fill it with whatever you want to fill them for my next project.
I'm using this shade. box, it doesn't really matter which one you grab, go ahead and just remove the center of the box, after that go ahead and remove some of the loose paper around it and sand it to make it as smooth as possible after that. Go ahead and remove everything that's on the back, remove the sticker and the part that you use to hang it, if you had to hang it, it's optional, but you can take a piece of sandpaper and go ahead and sand those areas. and make them a little bit softer, this will be the bottom part, but I think details matter, so this is a wooden candle holder that I bought at Hobby Lobby.
It was originally a

dollar

ninety-nine and I used a coupon with it. You could also use the glass chandelier you can get at Dollar Tree. I just like the height of this one better and I like wood to wood and that's just a personal preference. Remove the metal part so that it is more flush so that when we glue it. to the box then it will have better contact the paint I am using in this project is Waverly chalk paint and black and white acrylic paint to start I am painting the chandelier with black to give it the same base color as the shadow box, now taking the white chalk paint I go around the edges of the shadow box, this is in case the paper doesn't go all the way to the edges then you won't notice any of the green sticking out so it doesn't really matter how far come in, you just want to make sure you cover the edges by taking this same chalk paint.
I'm turning the shadow box around and giving it a dry brush technique all the way around. To tone down that black a little bit, I still want the black to bleed through, but I don't want it to be as stark a color as it was before. If you're looking to add a pop of color somewhere, this would be really great. place to add a pop of color instead of leaving it black and white and this would be really cute in any color you choose and these boxes also come in different colors so you might find something that absolutely matches your color scheme and I combed better once the chandelier dried.
I did exactly the same with the chandelier. I just took the brush around the chandelier and ran it twice adding that white everywhere until I got as much white as possible on the chandelier. Now I wanted to remember that it is better to go slowly and add more and Biltmore and you can always add, it is much easier to add than to take away, as you can see a couple of times I ended up with areas where I added a little more than I wanted, but if you do , there are always ways to fix it or you can learn to make things happy.
Accidents. I don't like to leave things unfinished so I took the same white chalk paint and painted the bottom of the shadow box to completely cover it and give it that finished look once all the paint dried I went in with a piece of sandpaper and sanded any of the edges just to smooth out some of those paint edges that I had, especially if I have too much paint in a particular spot. This is a paper I bought at Hobby Lobby. It originally cost 69 cents and I bought it for a

dollar

, which is what I always suggest, never pay full price for it.
We will cut a piece that will fit inside your box by applying a thin layer of Mod Podge to the bottom of the box to secure the paper. Now once you have the paper, you're going to press it down and make sure it's all the way in. secure it and let it set up and dry and once it has dried completely you can go in and add another layer of Mod Podge on top of the paper to seal it and again this will make it water resistant but not waterproof using a little bit of wood glue you will match the candelabra and shadow box to create a raised tray or raised candelabra.
Once you have placed the candle holder in the middle of the shadow box, you just need to let it sit there and dry. I like to leave it there for a good 24 hours to make sure it's completely set before I do anything to it because this is going into the bathroom. I went ahead and decided to apply a little bit of Mod Podge around the wood just to give it a little bit of sealing factor and to protect it in case you get a little bit of water on it or whatever, so I just wanted to give it that extra layer of protection.
I love this. I love the way it turned out, it's a perfect candle. support but I also like for a raised tray a piece as easy to have as a guest bathroom for them to put their rings and their earrings I know I'm always looking for a place to put my earrings are my earrings Lymon busy and someone and this is the perfect solution. I hope you like it as much as I do now. This project is more of a deconstruction than anything else. I took this as a cute little sign. Again it's more like a shadow box, a sign of sorts. it's in this box and I went ahead and opened it up and then I took out the area that you hang, that took me a couple of steps and you see it's falling apart as I was doing that and then I took my box cutter and I just carefully cut around it. the edges, now the corners are definitely the hardest part but I took my time but I can't always fit something in even though it was an inch it was too much for the space but I still really like this sign.
I wanted to use it so this is what I did to be able to use the sign and I thought I would share it with you to fix any of my rough edges. I just took a piece of sandpaper sanded them and the sign came out like new, I like to add a little flowers every chance I get so I made it with a jar of love and then went ahead and took some twine and wrapped it probably about 15 times and then just tied it at the end to secure it in the jar. These green flowers I bought at Walmart.
I love finding out that they sent 97 flowers and then these white flowers that I picked up at Dollar Tree and I'm just combining the two. I love green and white together and it's as simple as that, where is your favorite place to find cheap flowers? I'd love to know so leave it in the comments below for my latest project in this printable I designed. For you, I will have the link below so you can print it as well. It will be on my supply list, which I have also included for you below, in addition to the beginning, I am also using Waverly chalk paint in the color. mineral and then I'm using a photo frame.
This is one of the narrowest ones you can get at a Dollar Tree and measures 6 by 11. It comes in different colors and different prints within the size. I thought it looked and fit really well on the size of a bathroom door and here I compare it to a normal 8 by 10 picture frame, so taking the chalk paint, I use the ruler and draw lines to create a sort of wood. Look at the print now. I printed this on cardstock because cardstock can definitely resist paint better than regular mailer. Once I drew the line, I went over it with a paper towel to make sure I removed any excess paint. it might have been a little heavy and to blend each of my lines a little more after the first one, which I used the width of the ruler, I went in after that and made the distance an inch and a quarter, so I marked it on both the top and bottom of the paper and then I would use the ruler again to create that line that went from the top and bottom of the paper and continued making an inch and a quarter all the way to the end.
Along the paper until I had my lines across the paper. Once I had all my lines on the paper, I went in with a Dollar Tree brush and a little more mineral chalk paint and very carefully with a dry brush went over. just different random dots on the paper and added a little more texture and a little more grain. I would like lines. I don't know how to explain, that's the best way. I can explain it by following the lines I had previously painted on the paper. I'm not so worried about making the borders because I'll trim them so this fits inside the picture frame.
Once I had my grains on the paper, I went back in with a brush and went over the entire paper without adding any more product to the brush and then just stroked it to give it a little more aged look. Now it's time to go ahead and cut out the paper to fit this image inside the frame again. The frame is 6 by 11, but you can use any size frame you want. It fits in 8 by 10 if that's the size you prefer and of course any frame color you prefer to use as well. I chose to put the glass behind the print, but you can do it either way.
I'm using these velcro strips to hang this on my bathroom door. I have a bathroom door that is at the end of the hallway with a bunch of doors and it is always confusing for people to know which door to go through and now they will have a sign that will help them know which door to go through. I hope you enjoyed all of these projects today as always. I love hearing from you and knowing which one. Of these was your favorite, so let me know in the comments below.below if you enjoyed this video, give it a big thumbs up.
