reviews, you'll see scathing responses to the episode with plenty. of them delving into the commentary that this episode provides in abundance. Personally, I never touched this episode simply because there are more exciting episodes to talk about; however, in my quest to cover as many Gumball episodes as I can, let's get a not so point... Great episode for the way it starts with a montage of all the main Watterson family characters being angry and not just with one level normal discomfort, but super mega annoying enough to melt the people around them.
examining the worst gumball episode
It's a very nice comedic way of portraying. Overly exaggerated and cartoonish ways in which a character can be shown to be very angry. Here Nikole is shown incredibly angry. Seeing the Watterson family basically made it clear to me that their day was bad and that was before they came home, so sit down and tell them it's not enough for therapists Jay, what are you so worried about these days? Being a woman is the worst, so you know who really has it. the worst you should try to be an adult responsibility parenting full time employment I already have those things it's very difficult for an adult okay okay I'm gathering information right everyone thinks they have it worse and no one listens to them This is a fair representation of that and it seems very realistic In the way it's presented, it also reminds me of the standard man versus woman or children versus adults plots I've seen growing up, where both parties don't understand the other's vices. and thinking that the grass is green on the other side, this leads us to the characters putting themselves in the other person's shoes and discovering that their life is not exactly a pleasure trip, it is a time-tested plot that generally follow a line of work. ok and it fails miserably considering how many people had a problem with this episode you can see where this episode falls so let's peel this onion layer by layer chronologically on the guys side there are two things that They usually make this episode fail, firstly, the person communicating the problem is simply not the right person to talk about it or, more importantly, secondly, the entire piece.

More Interesting Facts About,

examining the worst gumball episode...

In this case, the episode tries to stand on its own high chair and what the little thought can easily knock over. By their own logic, essentially Gumball and Darwin are upset because they can't experiment with not-so-manly things without their masculinity being questioned. Now it's okay to explore this topic and I think that many scenarios within this program can work where the topic can be talked about. while making it fun and sticking to the roots of the way the show communicates, which is humor, you can ask Gumbo to try the perfume and see one of those cliche perfume commercials with the character whisper cute adjectives to describe how beautiful everything he made is.

Subvert it and have a guy approach Gumball and realize he's with a pretty girl and beat him up. You can have Darwin try high heels or platform boots and really enjoy it in his eyes. He sees it as everyone pointing at him in Amerasian when in reality. they're laughing at him, to which Dumbo would whisper to Darwin exactly what's happening and he'd burst into tears or you can set up the joke that involves them exploring less than manly things and it backfiring on them in cartoon style, literally any of these. the options are much better than what they end up with, that's exactly how I would bother someone in discord, however, it's not to be funny, it's usually because I want the person to understand the underlying layer of what I'm saying and come to their own conclusion of why.
examining the worst gumball episode
They probably should or shouldn't do what they're doing. I'll give you a great example of how a reboot of any program goes. I'd probably say something like oh boy, I can't wait to get outrageously angry at this chain. for ruining my entire childhood and at the same time being mad at them for not bringing back woodworking sooner, because while I say I want original content, I really just want to see the old stuff and never try the new stuff, I'm not the one doing it a joke. a kind hearted place where I am sarcastic and passive, basically sarcastically pointing out that I find a section of people to be hypocritical for what they want that may work for our viewer, but for the same show that would downplay morals and show the main character isn't exactly an example of being roma, this is presented as a staff using the characters as a way to portray a point they wouldn't otherwise have the chance to express.
That's why I made it clear at the beginning that the characters were angry in a cartoonishly over-the-top way is because I know none of you knew this, but we're all watching a critic talk about a cartoon, so hope it's not a hundred. percent realistic or at least maintain your core values. check from the beginning to the actual point, you are right, there are situations where this can happen, however this goes back to the way you communicate. Suppose you did this with Richard, who is an adult, the message would have made more sense. telling me that they wouldn't make fun of Gumball and Darwin just because they're surrounded by kids and kids are idiots.
Shirley Peer pressure is something that factors into this, even in a continuity sense this is a little flawed because I'm sure I can point to multiple episodes where Gumball and Darwin have portrayed not-so-macho traits and don't make fun of each other. of us at all, plus having Tobias pie Jo on top of Cho portraying this as the messengers, that's also pretty strange according to the wiki, this is season 5 after such lovely episodes as season 1's club, we're banana Jo and Tobias weren't macho enough to make the team, they were the reserve team and Oh Jo was part of a group called the Reject Club. and on top of that, the guy was a pretty big nod to a certain video game and his potential ties to Ocho, who literally fights like he was in Space Invaders in 3, where Tobias liked video games and the promise where Banana Joe didn't even could.
Levante, these are not macho guys either, now you could say, of course, that they are not going to portray themselves as if they were not much of either of the two and to that I would say that it is true that Tobias we have moments in which he appears as a typical pseudo macho guy, though, that gets into my point, this isn't about macho vs. non-macho, it's about peer pressure because boys are idiots, but hey, that's a problem, a problem that you sleep under the rug to make a completely different point, but a problem nonetheless. Do you think the situation would be different if you replaced rose-scented soap with doing homework for class but no one else has done it or trying a new hairstyle but no one likes it?
Come on, in a nutshell, this is the wrong way to get the guy's point across if you really cared about the problem if you didn't care about the problem and you were just making fun of it then you also failed because the jokes were in jokes there are complaints about a problem you didn't make no matter how you slice it, this is flawed, as flawed as Richards' crusty toenail, hey, please hurry up and tell us about your day, let's see if we can get that image out of our heads to then get to Nicole's part where she essentially asks why there is no employee of the month to which the boss would say that having a woman on the wall would distract the men and then who the employees of the month would be.
So the boss gives them both a potted plant and the only man you see here a promotion that undermines Nicole's work and only offers advice to smile more. I'm sure this happens quite a bit not only in corporate elmore but in life in general and it gets to my second point while this episode poses scenarios in which the character in focus is going through a terrible situation, the episode instead of offering a solution, rather it comes to the conclusion, well, each character is going to have to deal with that. None of these characters change by the end of the episode.
Spoiler alert. They analyze each other. day and getting by is hard, but they still don't like their own struggles, so why am I sitting and listening to an essentially very expensive event? Sure it's not always ideal to suggest solutions as someone wanting to vent to you is sometimes better for the person to vent and get those negative feelings out of their body, but here's the good thing, venting is generally not a positive experience, it can be very tiring on both ends and often uncomfortable, so this is what you decide to spend eleven minutes on and ask yourself.
Why would you watch this episode again? It doesn't give off a feeling of happiness or escapism or even education. He's literally here to complain and like Gumball and Darwin he's still the only one that's not even accurate so not only do I get paid 22% less for my work man I also have to let them take all the credit, you're right, That's a very good point, where did payment come into all of this? The whole scenario is due to lack of recognition, now this is what payment can be a form of recognition, however, Nicolle added payment to a situation where her boss never recognized her, so if you care about the situation, then you'll want to delve into the main reason why women can be paid less in certain professions or even in a specific episode case why her boss doesn't recognize her and if you didn't care about the situation again you're not being so funny.
I hope you noticed a low-shot cycle as well, but considering the ratio of men to women in this episode. I don't see many men jumping out of their seats to give their jobs to women if they really felt this scenario happened frequently, without saying that it would solve the crux of the issue. By the way, also PS: some of those bosses are evil. but you know, let's leave that little detail on the carpet because it can only be due to one thing, so let's move on to the children's scenario, this would be the time to shoot the clip, we have a scenario for the planet, the house that they don't have .
Will I ever be able to do it because it will be underwater anyway I hope I'm okay An underwater house is called a submarine because it is shaped like a sandwich. The guy would be in a bad mood, so let me make sure I'm clear on this: the only perspective on this. Cartoon Network licensed episode of the amazing world of Gumball, a show that is primarily aimed at children, the only perspective you decided not to make us an area for was for children, what, what, what, yeah, let's not make a scenario For the children, let's save money. a perspective we really care about to talk about three perspectives that are secondary to what the show is trying to address, leave it to the adults who want to target the kids, you didn't give time to the perspective of the kids at the table, did you? who is this episode four? it can't be four men because you ruined the messenger it can't be four women because the situation described is not when Nicole was angry for creating a straw man it can't be for kids because you clearly didn't block time for them and it can't be for adults either because Cartoon Network has a block for that, what do you prioritize about this?
I won't leave before I've seen you drop the hook, mr. Watterson, do you intend to buy the fish this time? No, it's not and that's why being an adult is so hard. There's a final and biggest problem of all here because this is a show aimed at kids on Cartoon Network. The episode has a huge Clarity Problem, it's trying to give feedback within the first three because yes, they designated a niece with two or three sentences to describe her struggles, half of which of course was her venting about her future and not about his present as Gumbo Darwin and Nicole, but then when it comes to Richard's scenario, it is very clear that Richard is wrong and this is not a comment on the difficulties of being an adult, if anything, the fact that Your entire day consisting of this helps alleviate this point rather than diminish it and maybe that's why they don't focus as much on NES so as not to do a total demolition.
Richards has reason to be angry, but he guesses what Richard did for himself. This is the equivalent of me arguing that cartoons aren't just for kids using the examples of Family Guy Teletubbies and South Park, if you're going to make your point clear, have your reasons clear and this goes against your point, because If there's something that adults wouldn't want to dirty, it does, dirtying any comments and kicking the soapbox that this episode really wants. be in place, so they all challenge each other to be in each other's shoes, which is funny because Richard doesn't want to grow up and also warns that any set of shoes is a challenge, so guess from the 11 minutes, how much is it?
It was actually spent on who had the worst day three, that's not even half the episode because theMost of this episode is spent complaining and doing nothing. Yes, they have scenarios where it would be annoying in those cases, however again they show me the problem especially in those. warped lenses and no solution, at best, you made a bad attempt if Richard's scenario had to do with the fact that Larry didn't respect him, how does Anais have to live the life of someone who is aging ? Wouldn't that mean Richard's scenario does? it has to do with the aging pains of being an adult, of course, not because again the episode didn't care about the childhood setting.
I don't know about you, but I want some snowflakes right now. I don't have time to talk. about why an entire subplot just spits in Cartoon Network's face the show's overall logic: I'd be here for 10 minutes, but imagine all the people who have desk jobs at Cartoon Network. Wow, adult, you have no imagination. and I wouldn't want to live in your shoes but still do your desk job because we need it almost like creativity is only half the battle and problem solving anyway because I can see a big bowl of ice cream. flakes right in front of me, let's finish this gum and Darwin tries the goats on the top floor with all the executives blocked by the glass ceiling.
This doesn't work because if you wanted to portray us effectively you would have also seen the look of women doing their job as well or better than men and then showing that even with the effort they are getting nowhere, but let's dilute the water point Richard passes by exams and studying this doesn't work because Richard is stupid and if you went to college he had the exact same struggles and also one point about Asus was that no one recognized her which is ironic because she is a woman and even the writers who wrote down their motivations didn't care enough to take them into consideration, and take them into account as well. considering that n ace wouldn't mind studying or taking tests because, oh wait, that's his passion, we literally had an episode where, because of how well he did on a random test, they were going to take Darwin away because he was literally too smart for the Nicole family gets trapped during construction.
This doesn't make sense because for a job you literally require help and direction. I don't know about you, but I don't see many one-man construction teams, so everyone comes to a consensus. Women are always isolated in the midst of this beauty. I've never felt so confused and disappointed with an episode where I can point out exactly what can be changed to make it okay, like the sweaters or the web, but who wanted this the same way? series that has an episode about Gumbo wanting to get his butt spanked, it seems like this episode just doesn't fit.
I want to say clearly that if people had problems that they wanted to convey here, I would sit down and listen to them. However, in this context, this show is made for entertainment and smart comedy, although I assure you that both require a level of skill to put it in humor, while a lot of this sounds like something you'd hear on a bad episode of Rick and Morty . I would like to hear from you if you haven't seen my web review, check out that episode and see which one is worse. There are a few episodes that I think could let this one down, but until then there is a great December fan base and until next time I'll go get some frozen flakes.
