friday shopping because I'm fine I might do some cyber monday shopping the man who paid removed everything that Black Friday, I don't care about the Netherlands, it's crazy because, at least in thelast

es because he likes to bring in a lot of former players, yeah, things like that to help hiscoach
ing staff, so hey man.I salute them kids man I salute the pops battles I salute uh Tyron merritten I salute Paris Patterson I salute Miles McVeigh I salute uh all uh I think it's the Hope Brothers as I salute them the Reds the Kings security I see you my wife talk to about 57-7 in the state championship game talk to us right we did it baby this is the pro and that's why we as east saint louis take so much pride and uh our teams and stuff like that because we're always written because we're from east st Louis, the current population is 18,000 18,000 crazy people, right, so for us to have a history, especially in the state of Illinois, when it comes to um Sports and stuff like that and the pros that we produced, I mean, well , is what you're talking about, a POP, I mean, a city that's always been
black
, I mean, it's always been done for our downtrodden, it's always been talked about the education system, it's always been talked about. because of poverty there's always been talk in those racial spaces like we can't do cool things and it's cool when they do it's a problem when we do it like this you know scream cause there's two times but i hate that like i do pride myself So much about my school, man, I mean so much pride in my city, my area, and my family, you know those things, oh yeah, big facts, listen man.

East St Louis Flyers football team on winning their 10th state football championship, man that's cool, it's just the city of champions, baby that's what we do. before we come down from the dome you saw while we're on the subject of football the bayou classic was on NBC yesterday you saw the video of the guy looking like he was rocking the planet in the game it's bad because I actually wish he I was just rolling the blunt somehow lighting a rib with a lighter it's blacker than light on a blunt yeah like that's crazy that's crazy that's why I said read it like you can't have blackheads then light the
prime
rib at an HBCU Football Classic on national TV and we're not talking about at the tailgate is this is at the stadium at the stadium this looks like homemade ribs on the grill this is what the base joint they sell at was not the food stand cooked it on the outside ribs.I, I really love us that was amazing that was amazing I really do that was great I just had to mention that because that's a shout out to Gremlin and Southern who played The Bayou Classic um but uh yeah man that was crazy, that was crazy anyway, you want to get to it, yeah, man out the door, you got it, you wanna take it, yeah, it's kind of simple, it's more or less a yes or no type of question, okay Do you think you like sports? experts and it's just you Stephen A Smith as an example do you think he has a ghostwriting right and the reason I'm saying this is because he's the million dollar man in the company he's the face of ESPN on this moment? um all kinds of flow and flow through it, so it talks about a wide variety of sports like, how can you watch so many football games, so many basketball games, so many boxing matches, so many tennis balls, all those things and then maintain the lifestyle?
I know they have producers and stuff like that, but he's like my guy, how do you do it? and i'm not necessarily sitting on him because it's more sports mondays than just him but i'm just
using
him as an example because he's the loudest he's the boisterous he has the most money and gets the most attention because he actually it's so good yeah so you think in that profession people give you bars like absolutely fine because me for basketball and football he probably has those inline hockey shoes yeah he don't talk hockey so I don't know if they have people for that, they have people and then it's like he talks like something didn't happen in the NHL like three like him I have to win three in a row or something, I mean respect for you, you know all the other sports, but they don't move the metrics as far as the audience when it comes to basketball and football if you're talking about Americans oh yeah so that's why you can dominate just talking about basketball and football and they will be okay with it but I I was just like I wonder how they do it because I'm often in awe how you sit and say you saw a four? one hour soccer game and then you move on to the next soccer game and then it was a basketball game that night and you still have a family you still have you know what you have to do maintain your lifestyle i am i am often and then you ' you're traveling like then not to mention you can be in boston one day then on site at some game or festival the next yeah yeah i mean he probably knows how you and i talk like on the phone just a one simple phone call to say you know it was good but then we end up talking about a myriad of other things you probably have people you can call that you know are connected in the world of sports and you can ask like you know hey , what's going on?It goes on with the World Cup so he can talk about the World Cup or anything, you know, like that investigative journalist like he came from the paper, no, he wasn't always a talking head, so it's levels of having like fonts and stuff like that so I can see it but it's like and then in the space where I compared him to a ghost writer like Ghost Rider he talks like you don't say so usually someone would have come out and said hey yeah you know and you say its such a thing because you know in rap if someone texts you balls it will eventually work out but not me 100 thinking about this yeah thats not something i really thought about but now that you bring it up it is like because yeah it's like thinking about respect you think about how miserable you were just watching your rams play good listen man but imagine watching a mediocre game he didn't happen to report on that so then you don't know if a game is going to be mediocre before you get a good look at it, so you can invest in this game, so how many games do you watch?
How do you catch the highlights of Epic? As you know? yeah it's funny because he could watch so you know how they liked the later game like how they got the later game people you know recap the games he probably watches that he knows because I just say they're like oh I'll watch the i play the whole game uh you don't know what happened 40 uh 40 seconds left and all these games there's no way yeah there's no way and many of these games at the same time anyway and if you traveling there's no way that you can watch all the games at the same time now if he had the crib he probably has multiple tv's where he can let you know the joints but people like him.
Stephen A doesn't get days off like he doesn't really like it yeah he takes an extended break like probably in that off season where it's like baseball and that's it but usually like something happens and it requires the voice from Stephen A he on Instagram live right away or they're calling him right away from the studio yeah so he's never offline like he's never offline so I'm like and then I mean I think he gets paid up to 10 million bucks a year it better be out all the time I mean how they should go to sleep man but I mean they'd rather you love it or hate it or really have no indifferent feelings about it you tune in to that yeah you know what I'm saying and that's something you can't really put money into, it's invaluable. man yeah ok take the door off ok so for mine uh i talk talk to me and ralph was in the same
place
last
night i didn't see them they're crazy so we went to the 90s jam last night James Biko for throwing that and he has his part during the event because he has them like two or three times a year but he has a party at the event where he plays iconic themes from 90s tv shows so My question to you of the two.I'm about to name which is the better theme song, all of that or Fresh Prince, all of that because it's the hook like catchy hooks and it goes far. give it to everything you know and i'm not necessarily saying it's just oh you know it's so much better no no it doesn't get people going it's provocative that's why i would say all that no that's real and then it was a show for kids so you get brownie points today because Nickelodeon is for the coaches that's why it's true it's true all the tracks the song all of that feels better like it feels like childhood yeah and when you play that. vs when you play for his prince it's just a better feeling yeah i'm not saying it's a better song or anything the feeling is just that it's hard with it because like you're talking about rapping on uh Fresh Prince it's storytelling , yeah that's pretty much what a story is told yeah but all of that you like it makes you feel bubbly like when we talk about Nostalgia what real Nostalgia is the main theme it definitely hit and I think because you can't get all of that in the way you can see the experience that's the other thing too fresh prince has been syndication fresh prince is on broadcast you know we have freshman reunion i mean he's always in our in uh in our debates and stuff like that but all I want to say is you have to YouTube but there's no streaming it's on Netflix it's on Netflix.
I just saw a random one. I was like, oh yeah, but no, it doesn't show up. um, which 90s tv show theme song is better all that or the fresh prince? Oh yeah, and you basically think Stephen is ghostwritten because I don't have anyone else for that. folks we've got a few issues here on the docket uh i'm happy to say we don't have any sad news this week man we went for real the last two weeks it's been a little crazy but um hmm let's start here shall we agreement? Deion Sanders has officially been offered his first D1 job that we know of at the University of Colorado.
Do you think Jackson State is in trouble? Janet, well, first of all, we're not going to do Jackson State like this. yeah power five ok guys so yeah levels are ok ok anyway not here and not there right? Well, this is a conversation Ralph and I have been having on this platform for a while now, probably ever since Dion arrived before Dion was hired by Jackson State, he's been officially offered a coaching position at a power five school, which is what we predicted would happen, but maybe not this soon, I have, I have mixed emotions, it's the same as sorry, it's the same thing that I've been saying, it's like what was the real intention of Deion Sanders taking the position head coach at Jackson State. it was about raising awareness for hbcus which i mean a lot of people feel like that but in the back of my mind no maybe not necessarily i don't know so i guessthat depending on what their decision is after the swac championship and after the Celebration Bowl because I imagine they are going to win the swag championship and the Celebration Bowl we'll see what they decide, but since I don't know, I have, I have mixed emotions about this when i saw the headline It was cool, because Colorado doesn't move the needle like that when you're talking about any college sport, right?
I think probably the most famous person, I think, is Cordell Stewart, they came from Colorado, but then again, you're talking. in the 90s, so no, I don't really have much for it, it's like when they offered it to him. to build I don't think it's for them I got you for that I was like me I ain't got nothing for this if it was this alma mater maybe like you know the state of Florida throws them back possibly like you start talking. like you know Nick Saban dropped out of Alabama like he didn't know but like in Colorado no no no like he's one of those headlines like he's pretty sure they're not the first to offer him a job so that's what I was like oh this is what they don't do that public stuff when you're already under contract from somewhere else like you don't really hear about that stuff until you leave so I see that it shows how much I really know because that's what I really don't You like it when those great white coaches or those coaches at those five power schools get job offers that you don't hear about because I guess it's those kinds of deals that are made behind the scenes. behind the scenes, that's why I negotiated, the negotiations are probably long for him, you know, for the right amount and all that kind of stuff, so basically what you're saying is that he's not going to Colorado, the coach of LSU.
I forget his name but he was just Brian Kelly he was coaching Notre Dame last year we didn't know he got the LSU job until LSU announced they said hey Brian Kelly is our new coach he's still coaching that number of Notre Dame, so how does that not so crazy work? so Colorado saying we offered them a job means absolutely nothing unless he's going to take the job, you think unless he doesn't get out until they actually go to it? So do you think it's possible? Yeah, but but I'm saying, do you think it's possible that he already accepted it?
It just hasn't come to light that he accepted it. If he likes it, this is also the other. Never rush to back down. for Colorado, I don't care how much money they think they got, like I gave you the model of successful college football, you know, the programs, the drivers, you know the alumni base, the willingness to get recruits to play for your school, I think the University of Colorado is in Boulder, okay, you're going to get and you have to think about the hotbed of football recruits, right? It could be some firefighter players in Colorado.
I'm sure you have to get these guys from Florida Texas Alabama uh Maryland uh California okay now now they're probably going to Colorado because that's not even worth it because that's not even where my brain went but no, that makes it deep it's deeper than rap that's why I said no you're not understanding you're not understanding no one from the south to go to Colorado even though Dion is still Dion you can make him come to Mississippi because Texas , Texas, Louisiana, like you, you can give it the jump, jump and jump, yes, short, short, flight, not too long of a car travels when you go to Mississippi from Texas and Alabama, Louisiana and those
place
s, so it makes sense and if there's Deion Sanders in the south we're really not that cold if there's snow they're going to go Crazy no respect for you guys but no absolutely hey okay so before we get this out of Alabama I guess , because that would be like a shootout.I would immediately go out of Alabama, I mean, it was the alma mater of the state of Florida, that's more or less, it will be a Florida school of Alabama. I don't see and this is the other thing that this school has to be willing to take on. Deion Sanders it's hard for me to say with Alabama like you know what I'm saying because the booster base like because that's pretty much gives him the funds for his football team it's not true of the school so if the base booster doesn't make him buy what you put out it's hard for you to use him as an uphill battle like he can never coach in texas because the way they are they're not really rocking black coaches because they make them spend the time more hard yeah because the alumni base I mean booster base made you listen I don't know nothing at all I don't know I don't know I saw hell I was like oh that's crazy we predicted this but no I mean it's Colorado , it's both, it's Boulder, it's not even different, that's a backwards hustle, we're legal in Colorado, I think it was like the first, second state to legalize that doesn't matter that doesn't matter anyway oh man, it's so I don't have a big step for this, but let's talk about it.
Jim Jones had a recent interview and he explains why New York is in last place when it comes to hip-hop rap or whatever the culture is. Johnny, what do you have to take away from this headline? I thought I thought Jim Jones was talking he was talking um I think this is a conversation that's been going on for a while when it comes to New York hip-hop anyway um reading the article I was saying the reason why New York is in last place is because they don't have Unity among the artists, not like you definitely see in the south, especially in Atlanta, like all those Atlanta orders that collaborate all the time together, a lot of the Elder Statesmen in hip -hop from Atlanta signed.
The younger artist from Atlanta likes that it's something that's been going on for almost 20 years, which is why they've been able to continue to be the big hitter when it comes to hip-hop, so I totally agree with you on what you're saying. . Jim Jones is saying and I think it's going to take a bigger artist coming out of New York to start performing with other New York artists to make Unity work because I want to say Jim Jones has done it but nobody does. I don't think anyone has really heard his. We said that the trans gangster grill came out earlier this year. but i don't hear anybody talk about it yeah uh it's easy for gemstones to say this now but in his heyday he was, you know, collaborating with all the southern orders can't you stop jim jones from leaving the remix?
You know what I'm saying it's true, so she doesn't like it. I know a lot of them, so we have to. I don't know, this is such a nuanced conversation. Hue. Jim is also part of the problem, so I listen to what you're saying, especially back then when, like you said, when he was jumping on the outing remix and all that, but today, do you think he's changed the tone at least for himself? today? Like him and a lot of other New York artists have they started coming up with the upcoming New York orders huh or the New York orders that are coming up today like I still don't see this is the right thing to do A lot of them don't the little ones but just like the less than like Jay-Z like Jim Jones is Jada kisses right they did a lot of collabs with Lil Wayne they did a lot of southern Collaborations like fat joe running there with the south like he you knew everyone was doing a lot of southern stuff because it was probably hot, it was hot but they had to keep it relevant somehow so I don't listen to you. saying new york new york then when it was like y'all was losing control y'all was yeah i wanted to be yeah i wanna in First Southern can rap Southern this Southern that then oh let's jump each other yeah and then now they get a level of relevance in the south that they never had before, that's outside of Miami, right?
You get played in other spaces now, when you know rap has a mainstream southern sound, you just know across the board or maybe not just on the east coast. the sound isn't that often now you want to be like oh we lost the feeling oh we need to restore the feeling no no like no i'm saying those things can't be true but you should have stayed true then that's right i'm sorry no i got you and i mean, and I and I don't no I don't disagree with what you're saying so I guess my question going forward is is it possible for them to regain market share when it comes to hip when it comes to hip-hop well, yeah, maybe possibly, I don't know, but the thing is, the New York sound has changed because more traditional sounding people is what Griselda doesn't really do. many of them do functions, but I don't really see them as.
I don't know, it's like they're out there with it, so I can't say they're not collaborating with people, right, but why aren't they? appearing in the way that maybe as its predecessors were a good question um maybe drill like drill taking over new york ok and i was going to say maybe because griselda doesn't sound like actual new york they just sound like them, yes, they don't. Sounds like the actual New York state of hip-hop and all of New York fighting with each other that's that, that's the other problem, that's the most important thing, everybody has a problem with Jay, everybody has a problem with the knives, everyone has a problem with the Wu-Tang everyone had a problem with Dipset everyone had a problem with 50 Cent everyone had a problem with Fat Joe so we could continue everyone had a problem with D -Block so ok so they spend so much time fighting each other other than the South just had Unity between them and then as always they revered those who came before you never heard TI talk silly about UGK or anything like that a though he came out and said he was the King of the South. which is crazy to say when Scarface was outside but played to claim him but was never disrespectful to him.
It is true that he always sold references to him. see you can't you can't do that at least to my point of view in my midwestern states like you know what I'm saying that's how it's always been but like us southerners we stand up for each other Now when they get hot you know they can go a little left yeah but you know what I'm saying but when everybody's trying to move on that's why Atlanta has been so stalwart that's why New Orleans and Baton Rouge came up , that's why Miami started having their own appear off base like people started working with each other.
I guess the New York rapper's mindset has to change like Cardi's with New York Jersey, so maybe they should take a page out of Cardi's book because cardi has collaborated. with all the women where the southern nyc whatever it is collabs with everyone and shows love like no matter what yeah but like you said the man in nyc raps they too tough they're fighting , they fight all day y'all can't do it with bacon for breakfast like that's the reason they can't collaborate with each other because they hate each other like it's crazy yeah and then they click to fight with a like , did you know?
I'm saying it's like New York you know the place where you know Jada Chris went wild with her sundries right that was a cheer at 50 damn damn that's the only reason it was done you would not have done. this before right y'all didn't think anything teamed up to fight with 50. and oh dammit now that we really like to unpack this maybe they might not like it it's too far away cause even we said that the trails had Migos that's why the whole album was titled It's remixed with most of the other Wayne people on there yeah that's why I said Jim is wrong because Jim was watching I'm not saying the people of New York the people of the east coast I love you all you can have it if you want it you just don't want it clear enough why you oh my gosh you did this to all of you so now when the kids arrived it's because we don't move the needle that way, no more like our generation, it's over, it's over, that's why 21 Savage said that about knives, yeah, that's why he said this, that's right, they don't move the needle, we don't. buy they don't buy like we don't buy
records
we don't set trends no we don't the kids got it so if the kids got it pop smoke would have made it rest in peace 504 okay who else is from the New York drills I don't know I don't know I don't know you would know which one is my girl Eddie I think I'm feeling you a month I mean she's a representation of New York rap even though she's a dream artist she's going to take her she's going to take her going to take her agree to bring to make her comments now carter is too old though that's the other damn thing she's probably like what 27 28. that's crazy she's not even 30 and i don't want to say i don't totally agree according to Cardi's age but still I always use technology we don't move the needle like that that's crazy sounds cool but you have to get one of those young guys out Fabio Foreign has momentum in the industry but no It's him, sadly he doesn't have the star power of a pop smoke, does he? and I feel like I want to rest in peace, pop smoke if he hadn't passed away. it would be him, he would have had the powerof maybe unifying New York because he had the ability to do whatever you wanted from a mainstream rapper, right? You want them to bring the guys in to do girl songs, do clubs, yeah, it's like you want them to have that big Trifecta and he was able to do everything he exemplified, yeah, and then from there with that star power which was similar to what a 50 Cent was back in the day, which is why I thought. with him being able to collaborate with other New York artists probably would have started to restore that field so who knows how long it will be before another artist starts bubbling up like a smoke pop because you know since he passed away, I haven't seen one, I thought maybe five of your foreigners, but I don't know what happened in there, so I don't know, I don't know, man, you almost feel like you know it's going extinct, which is kind of crazy. to say um just for one like the mainstream of hip-hop you know what I'm saying but I don't know we'll see but according to 30 by the way oh damn that's right she's always so crazy it's crazy being 30 is like being 70 in hip-hop well you know we're working on that man we're working on the ages and things man we're working it doesn't make sense man I know I know Well talking about something that doesn't make sense.
We're still talking about the Chris Brown controversy with the loves. Jermaine Dupree came out and said this is like there hasn't been an
attack
on blackmusic
because Chris Brown's performance was abruptly cancelled. Uh, for the American Music Awards he's feeling a little extreme, but Johnny, what do you have to say about this? Me and I saw the clip. I heard what he said. it was like it was unnecessary if you just like this like he said if the american music awards canceled the chris brown performance that means they canceled the 40th anniversary of thriller which means they canceled the michael jackson tribute black music us, we in trouble we in trouble so i mean they didnt cancel 40th anniversary or thriller because the album still came out on vinyl um Thriller the album is back on top like 40 or something at number seven like seven selling 37 000 copies I just read that today so they didn't cancel Thriller they just canceled the performance which I mean it's still been a while since they did that but I'm trying to understand the reasoning why Jermaine Dupri says yes he alsoattack
s black music, that's why I said Jermaine.Dupri could take something and be very, very extreme with it but we're here OS let's try to dive into that I don't think it's necessarily an attack on black news I think the music industry in general because it's just a lack of stars true, we've always said this, there are no stars like we look for certain people to be stars when they're not necessarily made that way, they're not cultivated, they're not developed artists, they're not. you know, we put people on the timeline and let them know that's why sweden sold 2,000
records
like because they have a huge following on social media no talent respectfully that's like no no that's because people she doesnt like her music they like her which is whats nothing wrong like i said no artist development im out there because if you know you start bashing women rappers youre misogynistic thats a crazy, but don't get too attached to the point, I think there's just a lack of stars and, um, like when we do research like you know we're always looking for Beyonce for sale.I know Beyonce, but who's the next person, yeah, yeah, who's the next person. Chris Brown has been kicked out of that conversation because you know you know of past transgressions. compliments Chris Brown, have you taken Chris Brown out of it and just said this person is an A-list superstar who can dance very well and is a clear student of the Michael Jackson game who wants to do a tribute to him tonight ? he did well no no no no debate but that's what happens though i think there just isn't a star so we don't have kids anymore we don't have stars anymore as you know and i think he didn't say anything about your kids don't have something to listen to or something dude maybe i didn't hear that in this clip ok maybe i'm just getting to it but i thought i heard that oh no and not in this particular clip that was on Instagram, okay, um, and me and I thought maybe Chloe and Holly were going to be next as far as that kind of space goes, but you know they haven't broken up as a duo, but they've continued. to do her thing um Chloe is doing her solo music and Holly has ventured into acting like she knows she's Ariel in The New Little Mermaid so their career paths are venturing down different different paths um so I don't I do I don't know and then I think we define as a correct beginning.
I think the definition of that has changed because you can do a lot of things well. It seems like you're apparently not good at one thing, like Chloe can sing. play play instruments all you can do all she can dance she can act but why does she feel like chloe just like because i want to say she has hits you know the truth is social media presence i know and i hate to say it but You know that plays a part in what a star is today like me, it's true, you can't, you can't refute that you overshare, yeah and I, I don't know, it's these songs, don't hide them from me, but then again they don't have to know about me i no i'm not really i'm not targeted by chloe bailey true true shouldn't be you know i'm going to buy a piece of chloe bailey because she's 22 23 24 i don't know she's somewhere early to mid 20s somewhere in there, so yeah, if I'm listening to a female singer, I'm listening to her, I should be listening to Jasmine, I should be listening to you, you know, like a little bit of someone a little more seasoned. because that's what the devil has at least as a man i can resonate with what's right because we're in the same age range that's not for me so that's the other thing who are the young goats here ?
I don't know, I have no idea, I have no idea, I thought it was her at one point, but it turned out to be much older than she advertised because because she's second, this is second race, so that's why it's crazy. crazy she was going through something so i think she was going to buy a government name at first yell at hers man her yea yell at her. on Chris Brown still no matter how good no matter how we feel about Chris Brown These are situations he got himself into you know what I'm saying so it's like it's been 10 11 12 years I'm not even clear , sure, this is just part of the game, you know what I'm saying, yes, I still do. awards show um pick picks up that performance it's crazy the soul train awards with this weekend i don't even know it's crazy look i'm terrible advertisers but anyway hey man so much money goes into marketing really like we don't know that they have a budget was Zero to the highlights at the time, man how to talk about Escape?
Who knew that Escape would receive an award? of them actually left the group no yeah she liked it you can read it on tour like they have a 25 year old set but it's just three or four yeah come on but all four were in the soul. Trade awards good like that look I hear exactly look look stay honest stay out of the womens business that's crazy damn that's a clue but now let's try this okay we often get into these conversations about boxing and numbers which are played in the game of Finesse and looking at the stats Atlantic Records has been criticized at least on YouTube for manipulating YouTube numbers and definitely playing with Bots that reply to YouTube commenters like their big big artists so Johnny huh? what do you think about Atlantic Records? this surprise.
I feel like this is something that major independent studio artists do. I feel like a lot of artists do this like a lot of artists do this. I only call Don Toliver because I feel like hella hella or this guy happened, so I don't know, I don't know what it is about Don with Oliver that people don't like, but yeah, why call him that? I don't think Don Tyler exaggerated. Listen, it's clearly like under the Travis Scott music tree, so it's like a Travis Scott artist, so it's like you know what you're getting in there, but listen, I don't. what the kids listen to i heard it a song or two came up on my wheel was like okay cool i'll stick with those two yeah but i'm not seriously saying downtown was the best i've ever heard either but still i'm not the demo.
I don't buy albums. I don't even stream this music from YouTube. I don't do that, but mine is why. in the youtube comments section well i dunno man it's like they're trying to drive traffic to youtube videos you see how youtube comments could be like you comments engagement gets your likes . it works and keeps it in more algorithms so you always want that to happen you're trying to beat the algorithm okay okay so you want to get your artist in front of as many eyes as possible and then you start to know YouTube can get a return on their investment from youtube so i'm pretty sure not tolerable with all due respect they don't own a good chunk of their music so

wants to make their money back somehow somewhere and that comes to ah YouTube views, that's why they're streaming from the houses we talked about a while back, yeah, like that, this is nothing new. the payback money from his major record labels, you know what you know, which this reminded me of, although like before all the streaming and YouTube and all that, I feel like this is similar to when the record labels bought his albums. from the artists to say oh our artists went platinum our artists went gold like i feel like this is the same this is more of a money driver for them because if you could go out if you can fool the algorithm more people sees it you get more views you get more money like it's the same if you're a music artist do you want your label to fight for you like that yeah one night oh ok i'm not i'm not saying you're wrong to write that i was like I'm an artist and I signed this crazy contract with you, right?I would do anything to get out of it, so if we get to Duke these numbers, unfortunately. It doesn't necessarily speak to your music and your art, but then again, you want your music to be heard well, so that's what the artists on these relationship playlists are shouting out to Sprints. We had that debate once about playlist placement. all these things help you, all this, everything works and yes, I wish the record company, any trick you have to do to increase my number, so that when I go on tour I can earn my money or whatever I have to do to gain. my money, because honestly, the only way the artist gets his money is by doing those festivals and shows and things like that because Don Tolliver isn't big enough to do his own show unless it's smaller venues, but if you're Speaking of Don Toliver on roll it loud, he's probably into that, you know, yeah, yeah, but you know I mean the center wasn't the only person they mentioned in the article.
I think it was Roddy Rich. some were a lot of

artists so it's not just about dancing little Uzi Don Toliver huh other rappers say and that's crazy 'cause we think of little Uzi as one of the young, one of the young , the only. one is right as he was out with that but maybe Lil Uzi is one that really worked in his favor because I've seen clips of little Uzi shows that he would go to that's what I was about to say because all of that is nice but how many asses can you fit in the seats? getting to festivals and Lil Uzi is definitely a top builder when it comes to the word festivals because hasn't he headlined a few?Like because when I think of little Uzi, I don't think of the rapper, even though I know he can rap, I think of him as this great rap rock guy like him, he's a godlike presence on this stage and a lot of people just with his music like that those kids will come out and stand there to watch little Uzi perform yeah so listen up I really don't see a problem with this I've been watching youtube accounts get comment spammed since 05 when things that started youtube so this isn't really it's not it's not new i guess because i don't know like the only right thing when it comes to likes i'll use this example and then maybe we can if you know we get it out of that we come out good but ya you know how the nba youngster breaks the record every week yeah that has something to do with the youtube numbers you think the inflated numbers give you a common part of the all time conversation because? you'll look up maybe like oh the young nba guy has sold more records than, say, Jay-Z you know what I'm saying I think he's actually been a headline or Eminem or something crazy like that so Eminem Jay- Z I have things that you went to the store and bought are like digital records and like inflated numbers and streaming houses like how do you compare that?
I'm not exactly sure to behonest and that's where it gets conf
using
right? but who am I to say look? I mean, the young NBA guy isn't great because he clearly has a young following, but then again, we've just seen the big rapper numbers. mostly because i heard he likes me to drop youtube, he actually drops music videos on youtube quite often and probably gets tens of millions of views in 24 hours and i think that's all because of thebots
that are going but then again, his music is not for me, I'm not the demo, who's who am I to say that it's not actually going to be seen by 10 million people this year because I don't know, I don't know, so it doesn't matter, leave it. back off alright, let me go back, let me take it back, but when you think about it, 10 million isn't much these days.I'm in 24 hours, though oh we're talking 24 hours, okay, that's a lot more than a trailer. don't get it and this is two minutes if we're talking about what three minute music video so i listen if that i hey i don't know i don't know my hands are open for this i don't know i don't know but Johnny brought it there Man Marvel me saved uh blurry stop blurry seven let's get into this real quick I don't even think we're wrong I don't think any of the swords have finally gotten this headmaster uh height uh don't forget I forgot the gentleman's name Johnny will correct me on that but uh he's done some projects and he actually did an episode of lovecraft country lovecraft country but the thing is i don't like it because the theme i mean the headline was a bit misleading they were like lovecraft country director.
I saw that you know he's running Blade. you have faith in marvel in their new hire for blaze man i dont know i cant even lie i cant even lie i have no idea i have no idea all i know is they got a higher director fee they are rewriting the script as we speak and the goal is to start shooting next year early next year so they can stick to their September 2024 release because it got pushed back so if they can really have a script that everyone likes by January . I guess then we can stick to the schedule but I really, really feel like it and I don't really want to put this out in the universe but I really feel like this will be delayed again I must like it I'd rather I'd rather delay and give myself a crap product I want say, because that's where we go with all these little headlines like yelling at my boy he did what else did he do something else white boy rick i guess and something called 71? oh okay it's certified fresh 90 to 96 oh that's what's up and then an episode of Lovecraft an episode Episode was new at 88 I guess I'm assuming this is Rotten Tomatoes yeah okay but oh well man , man, you guys are going to get me back to my house you can't do it we have to get Kang first this is nasty let's listen september next year september 2023 um we should know if this is if this movie will be delayed again actually we we should know how May yeah I'm about to say we should know about May for real yeah if they delayed if they delayed this one more time I'm gonna start talking to you I'm gonna start talking to you think about it bro like hey man like you telling me let's go to get a quality script in three months we're going to get out of the script in three months, especially when you weren't satisfied with the last few words, so what are we doing?
It was just 90 minutes with two fight scenes and the issue and this was sort of a tie-in I think. we ended up like my soul condo forever stuff the reason i thought no i can't give mcu movies or at least these five comic book movies is because they are too connected to others to matter and good movies don't don't that you know I have that's like classic movies like classic movies like you don't need actual reference material you don't need to watch six movies or make sense like you know what I'm saying so this is going to be tied to a connected universe cool cool , but hey, are you going to hurt your main protagonist when you do that and this is what we are getting?
It's too much business and politics. we may have to say that for a topic, no, no, no, no, I'm talking about what the MCU movies could be, they could be standalone movies. something that we have to do at least two hours because it's not going to be an origin movie, I would imagine, because he already exists in the Marvel Universe, right, he's already there, so these Notions and this comes from things that already happened, so I'll just try to do it basically I mean when more facts come out okay opinions may change you know me I'm I'm I'm standing on my soapbox now but when the trailer comes out like uh that It's hilarious, listen, man, I mean.
I'm happy they found a director now that they can now that they can really move on it's just I guess it's all in the script now like if the script is done the script will be good when it's done as you know. now it's supposed to be out in september 2024. no if they never gave us a date i'd feel good but the fact that they told me to make a movie now no no i'm not going hey that's funny , listen man listen I'm the one from the Pod who likes to keep hope alive so if you know we're gonna make it to 2024 with Lord Willie pasta I was watching this I shouldn't be trained no no big face for two years. this is going to be crap because it looks bad bro thats what im saying it looks horrible of course they do this to a black lead movie since i mentioned black leads and mcu movies um uh Captain America uh Anthony Mackey is playing uh Captain America Sam Wilson You better see y'all out there in the stars and stripes not just playing no that's I was kidding no no sorry no no that's what I'm talking about like me I like that in New York I like, I like, wait, it's another um, oh, Blade, it's the other black, it's the other lead black, never mind. packs like they did for how long forever now you know what i want the bokis to stay away from these you know what i'm saying like you don't these these these are true MCU ensembles I understand Laura around Oh Black Panther and like you know what what the character means to people, yeah, like you, all good, real quick, before we get out of here in the MCU, MCU stuff, did you see the Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas special? say that for next time it's okay now huh it's a special presentation okay it's a series or it's like it's a movie it's like a short it's a short story short film 44 minutes oh something like werewolf ensemble By Night alright yeah same thing I look at it so maybe we can put something out for people but you know it'll work out great great alright hey man we've reached the end of our OS Johnny what do you have for people uh if you're on YouTube we appreciate you for rocking us this long click like button subscribe button share this with your people hit the comment section let us know about any of the topics we discuss today and we'll get you . all next week now if you're on youtube sorry if you're on audio now you're listening to overdrive from the podcast now let's get it
