to this. Oh no. My God. I'm not going to electrocute myself, am I? A diving mask? Something you would have in a war situation. It's a space mask, I don't know, or something used for the Ebola crisis. When I was a kid we had something like this, you could just turn it and it would always change to something different. This could be some kind of hypnotic mind control thing you're going to try to apply to me. I may not like it.

Great sound effects. Finished? Can I take this off? This is the most damned thing I've ever seen in my life, man. It was great. (clicks on film reel) (Finebros) So what are his first thoughts after experiencing this technology? It is very close to reality. It can be quite scary. When it comes to things like this, I'm a caveman. I'm impressed with the technology, but someone else can buy it.
I think it will be something tremendous. I would use it. I can see that it's like a couple steps away from where you would absolutely think it is in this world. It is very impressive. How do they put this...? How do they put this here? (Finebros) So, this device is used for fun experiences and video games. But they are also developing technology for surgeons to use to simulate surgery, for NASA on trips to outer space. - What do you think about that? - I think that's pretty surprising. Well, it would certainly be a real workout. I mean, you'd feel like you were in outer space.
I see many applications for it that would be very good. I see others that could drive a person completely crazy. (Finebros) If virtual reality technology gets better and better, now that you see it's come this far, what do you think about what that might mean? People would probably get hooked on this like they would get on everything else. I think it's bad for the kids, because they don't do anything like they do now. It's very easy to manage a group of people this way, isn't it? 1984. We have creative minds; We just have to take advantage of it.
And that's what this does. There are good and bad. Sick people, housebound people or elderly people... they could go anywhere in the world or universe. They could tour museums and it would be like they were really there, which would be wonderful. On the other hand, it's like now with tweets and all that, we are losing interpersonal relationships. (Finebros) Did you ever imagine that technology would reach this point? - No idea. Never. I just thought computers were amazing. (Finebros) Now that you are experiencing something you felt you would never experience, how do you feel? - It feels great.
It's very exciting actually. I like it. Going from a rotary phone to a black and white TV, without a remote control or computers, was a profound experience for someone my age.
