pregnancy

cravings

and if you missed the first version of this video which was after the first trimester which is where I tend to get most of my

pregnancy

cravings

More Interesting Facts About,

eating all my pregnancy cravings...

I also want to let you know that we're doing a bunch of gender prediction tests on Tuesday and I'm really curious. how accurate they will be and after that we will pretend the big baby announcement is a very excited boy or girl 2020 woo anyway let's start

eating

things so I'll start with something. that's directly in my line of sight and I really just want to eat it and this is new to me. I don't normally crave things like this, like being pregnant or not, and that's chocolate and mint specifically in Junior's form. Mints, as well as York Peppermint Patties and also McDonald's peppermint lattes, do we sense a theme here?

I feel like we're sorry and I think this started because I bought a bunch of this type of candy and stuff to decorate gingerbread houses and I ended up just

eating

them, which I think is pretty common in gingerbread houses, you just buy candy and then you don't decorate. the gingerbread house and you just eat the candy, the Junior Mints are like a thin layer of chocolate with things like a gooey like gooey or I mean mint filling, you can see they just crack and crumble, people who don't They know what they are, but overall they are good, very minty, they are a little bigger and have a thicker layer of chocolate to them and the mint inside can be broken with a but here we go, there is a much firmer mint even also very delicious.

I would recommend it 10/10 and just like this mint and chocolate combination I have really enjoyed it and been eating it seemed like a lot more than cookies, yes I know I am as impressed as everyone so the latest on the mini train are the coffees with peppermint milk that they have at Christmas time, so like it's going to disappear soon and it makes me sad. but these are really good, we got them while they were making a bunch of Renaud's in the kitchen and we couldn't eat in our kitchen so we really liked the takeout and I became obsessed, at least now I'm sure I am.
Just drink this amount and then Chris drinks the rest because he has caffeine, but it's so good, so delicious, oh, it's really good after eating a mint burger. Christopher, have you tried it before if you eat one of the mints? burgers and then take a sip of the mint latte, it's a little over the top but I'm not mad so you have to try it, first we have to have one of these, you like mint and chocolate. I feel like that's your What's mine, you fake it and then people go in there for me, which one do you like more?
Junior Mints or Peppermint Pattie. Real question. I'm going to need a few of each, sometimes it's really important that you do the research, you know, man. that's good, this one is like sticky or consistency, which I want, I appreciate it, I know New York is better, you like York better, yeah, both good, both good, I see, I think I like the one better junior mint, that's good, sure, yeah. mix it almost like a mint mocha lock label for my taste this is too sweet too good. I love the mint kind, but I could do without a little sugar, yes, that's there, it's quite sweet, although it's not like Frappuccino, guys, no, no, no.
It's not cloying, it's just you know I'm not drinking much espresso there. I start with something like feel free to continue. I will stay here. What's next in line? Wait, what's another one? No, I need to redeem myself. I'm sorry. like I just talked about a lot of sugar stuff now in the salad, this is a really good solid, although you eat this salad with me, especially like bad, so come on, yeah, that's good. I don't like many salad bets, pretty good, yes, no. Not so, I really like the salad Chris makes. He pretends I like a balsamic that's really delicious, but it's also really good.
It's from the Eat Smart Fales brand at Costco originally about your Costco, yeah, and it has so many different ones. vegetables here with this pregnancy I have been at extremes. I feel like the salad is aggressive but I also like chocolate and mint and sweets and things that haven't really been in between, it seems to be a time of day like around lunch time you don't want to go solid, you would reject this if I'd give it to you, but this jacket, in the case of four or five o'clock, has broccoli, green cabbage, Brussels sprouts, kale, chicory, dried cranberries, pumpkin seeds and then like a poppy seed dressing. and it's like it has a lot of texture, it's a little bit sweet, it still has that crunchy touch, I just don't know, I really need all that all the time, sometimes I even put chicken in it too, delicious, delicious.
I bet you can guess what I've been craving more than everything else in the third trimester. It's not time, it's time for ramen. This is something else. I fail a lot at preparing ramen correctly. It's just the broth. Well, the bowl. The broth is a big part of it. and that is as part of the overall soup and we use it for many different soups but I can't poach the egg properly, the ramen noodles are always overcooked. I forget about the choy block it's so forget about the block a lot of times like no it's not whole grain I need it I need it that's good yeah that's the best video ever so we have the chicken broth here and you make it by hand, crisp red and then you animate it, you look at it and you put it. on things that I like, like a little bit of ginger powder, onion powder powder, you've also been doing this recently, this is it for me.
I'm still tweaking my recipe a lot, it's very good, I really like it though, I'm open to suggestions, this is actually a peri-peri spice mix, no, it's just good chili flakes and then I've been using this Maggi seasoning, just an umami bomb, your mom really likes it, just a few drops and then I add sriracha at this stage and then dial in a little more, each time I can only have a little bit of sriracha depending on my status in Arkham City, but I like, so let's put it, oh you know, in vortex number one. I learned about this on Bon Appetit and so who uses ramen noodles?
Do we have a brand of ramen noodles that we like? I feel like we've tried a couple different ones. I like these. I don't know what brand buns and rolling these books are. I miss everything you do, I miss the dry noodles thing, then they took out the eggs and he put salt on them right away, we played the waiting game, the worst part and that's it, dad, now we have a ramen, so we put it, We just talk like me. Was it part of it or not, the scallions that I cut, the scallion broth noodles that I put in the bok choy and the scallions with poached egg on top, I feel like it makes it so much better, well, freshness, yes, it's very ritualistic, always We forgot about the chives. because we just want ramen, but it's really enough.
If you have any recipes for ramen and stuff, we've been enjoying this one, but I'd like to know what spices you used and what you like best besides ginger onion. garlic powder, I mean, that's really good. I feel like that's the base, but is there anything else you like? Let us know we need to know, but baby has been obsessively needing this the whole time mm-hmm, that's just a good winter meal. good food anytime, but really good winter food, it seems like it's good for you, like 10 at night, food yeah, like edit mm-hmm, do you want to make ramen, but really I've been eating this all the time day, like it's something for lunch? and I'll even make something for lunch, but it's like 10 in the morning and I think it might be lunch.
Mind you, early breakfast is ramen time, it's totally ramen time. We should forget that I eat cereal for like 45 minutes. I used to be able to eat ramen now it's so good. I also like the fact that it had a lot of sweet things that have everything salty. I got the touch of sriracha, that's really good, baby, like spicy things. I don't know, there's definitely even more spicy things in this pregnancy than before, yeah, I was just eating ramen, so how's your dick? How you started with those sweet things and you demonstrated eating all the sweet things and now you are eating ramen and you are demonstrating and eating.
Ramen, what happened in the middle? salad, yes, you know what it's like to eat Sabbath. I need to show you that, but I need to draw attention to it to be fair. Like that salad, although no one is warping the broth, I think it's acceptable on camera. like no, but like i want, we can cut that butter, it's also very ASMR, so this is number one for the third quarter, what's number two, oh you had a brief but intense flirtation with goats, yeah, I forgot , yeah, it was over in a flash, but um, yeah, it was kind of the end of the quarter.
Oh yeah it was fleeting but it was aggressive and to be fair I occasionally go into the closet looking for Tito's that aren't there but I know they aren't there but yeah they were good while they lasted it's like Orange Crush for me every six years or so. I need an orange smash, but for me that's cinnamon toast crunch, oh yeah, I just want a bowl because otherwise it's like my mouth. it all cuts off, yeah, yeah, finally one of about three steps where I didn't have soda oh yeah, yeah, I just want a couple steps and then I'll be fine for another decade, but I need soda right then oh-ho, gross , Well. it's like root beer because I can't stand root beer root beer I drink good root beers more often no it's not, yes I'm not, yes I feel like I haven't eaten asbestos, you're almost done with it.
I'm gonna go tidy up the rest of this off camera so bye bye thanks for making me wrong man I love you next time don't go I'll be back to eat you in a second though okay no , it's stuck ooh. This one is fine, so I'm sneaking it in. It's a pregnancy treat, it's something I really wanted a lot, but it's also like a Christmas tradition treat that I love, it's something my mom makes and it's called Nanaimo bar. it's my grandmother's recipe on my dad's side and something my mom continues to make, so this is kind of her version, but it's usually like a chocolate and coconut base, it has a kind of buttercream frosting layer and then it usually has chocolate on top.
Well, this is kind of my mom and grandma's version, but it's really good and I loved it and I feel like my mom has played with it over the years, like we did it with chocolate. up I feel like it's too much and it's too sweet, we've tried sprinkles, we've adjusted the ratio of the frosting layer to the base a little bit, but yeah, I love it, it's just as good as these, like little ones, these little ones here, yeah. I eat a couple of them, but I feel better about it than trying to throw in a big piece, so I just eat these little ones and it's like Oh, mmm, the frosting is really sweet in that nice buttercream way, but it is not. too overpowering and I love the custard element in it and then the base is not very sweet which I like and something I don't like about other Nanaimo bars I've tried.
Really funny story, so I've had this my whole life. Childhood, by the way, this is a dessert named after a city in British Columbia, in case anyone was wondering, this is where this dessert comes from, but throughout my childhood I called it a glaze bar and it had no other name, and then when I was trying to Explain to Chris this dessert my mom makes. It's like my favorite look when we started dating. I was like I was a nail polish stick. He's like no, so yeah, it's a funny story. I love things where parents just don't correct you. you know, but I guess technically it's like my mother and grandmother's version of the Nanaimo bar, so we could call it an ammo bar, right, it's really good.
Oh, mmm, it makes me very happy, no, they brought this to me yesterday, they came. to visit okay, like my roommate, next let's make a savory one okay, these cookies I have a thing for cookies during pregnancy. I discovered that before it was the Breton ones, which are great, especially in the first trimester, you want, you want a lot of cookies all the time. everywhere except these. I actually bought them for Julia's lunches at school and then ended up eating them all there next to President's Choice. They are mini cookiesof cheese flavored with white cheddar cheese and rosemary.
These are baked fries and I love them. I've gone. Through maybe eight of these boxes or twelve, that's the kind of look they have up close. They have this fun shape.very cheesy and kind of melt in your mouth like you need more in a way like you just see saliva when you try it looks like Doritos you don't know it's not a nacho that way but it's the same as if you need to continue eating. them in a way that it's a white cheddar maybe I just really like the white chair like white cheddar macaroni and cheese another pregnancy staple my kids call them hexagon crackers because they don't want the other ones like the seeds and you. you know which ones are good for them they want these so they're those things they're like we have crackers and cheese with the hexagonal crackers like I can't be mad at them they're like using that Walmart not also these I would like the Boursin cheese which is like Almost I like a whipped light that has been described I don't even know what kind of cheese for some cheeses maybe I should look into it, let's learn today Boursin is a gourmet cheese brand, it is a smooth, creamy cheese in a variety of flavors was created in 1957 by Francois Boursin, a cheesemaker from Normandy, no, it crumbles slightly, it's quite creamy, it spreads very well on crackers, it's something that absolutely BEM crumbles in salads, even in the bag. so I didn't show you how I do it, but yeah, it's also really good on top of these crackers in case you know that looking for a snack owes a document and then let's make another sweet, this I think is my current replacement sometimes. chocolate chip cookies and sometimes I like a good chocolate chip cookie don't get me wrong I'm obsessed but sometimes I just want this for some reason so first of all the chip is like the hole in this giant bag here.
Do you think I had eaten most of these? You know, in the process of baking cookies. No, this bag has almost been emptied just for me to grab a handful from the bag, so sometimes what I do is grab a handful of these chips. I'll put them in a bowl because otherwise I'll get sick just eating them out of the bag and then I'll mix them with caramel popcorn, which has also been an obsession of mine, this is like a pickle, it's double. something double buttered, I don't know, it's like the most extreme version of caramel popcorn, but it's completely covered in caramel and I feel like the caramel with the chocolate is like a good mix for me, sometimes I even add cookies to it salty for PC.
This was really disgusting now they say I don't love it but I like sweet and salty. I don't know, I just really like it. Just a combination of these two together wasn't something I would have really loved mmm. mm-hmm chocolate and caramel, which go together so well mmm really good like at the end of the day, everyone's in bed. I'll sit and watch YouTube and have a snack. Hmm, troll food, another one I can think of, but I think I talked about my cravings in the first trimester, so I'm not going to make it, plus I also have ramen that I want to eat right now, but another one is grilled cheese sandwiches, but not just any grilled cheese, obviously, we need to have like pickles on the side and tomato sauce for dipping, but then I'll put processed cheese on it because you know you want to choose the most disgusting cheese possible and then what I like to do is put a layer on it. of Dijon and just add this. nice touch to the cheese otherwise it's very heavy and I think that brightens the flavor a little bit and I really like it so in case you really like grilled cheese or you're pregnant you've been craving grilled cheese. nice little add-on so I just wanted to mention that in case I forgot to mention it in the first quarter, one is really good oh and then another one okay wait it's open let me stay as an unopened one oh yes, grenades, I love it. the pomegranates are so good and they are really only available to me in this time period between the end of November and the end of January is when they are really good and then they disappear for the rest of the year and I am very sad and I usually really like the Pomegranates, anyway, are something I really enjoy, but especially this pregnancy I put them in salads, I put them on my cereal, I only eat them by the handful and I can't eat enough.
I keep trying. like those different techniques to cut them, you know the videos to remove the core and then they open like a flower and there's all the fruit inside and immediately they have everything and it's like falling out of the shell. I'm not there yet, but I hope to get there again. Well, yes, pomegranates love it. Oh, Christopher, you just noticed something on the counter because something arrived from Amazon that Chris had ordered and so a bunch of cable stuff for the office below him, but I. Also make some of the mint syrup because mint lattes are obviously going to disappear soon, so he bought me some, what a good boy, oh that will be so good, good boy, go back to Eve, my ramen now, if you have any. cravings or anything you've been really enjoying just in general cravings, I care if you're pregnant or not, you have great cravings, let me know in the comments, maybe there's something I should add to my repertoire first.
This pregnancy is over. I look forward to hearing all your suggestions on different things we can add to the ramen and stay tuned again like I said at the beginning of Tuesday's video where we're going to try a bunch of different gender predictions and if I have any idea if the baby is a boy or a girl, let me know based on the fact that I don't know what cravings I have or that I like things high and low, like all that stuff. I mean what you think. Thank you very much for watching as always. until the end MVP I can't believe you've come this far.
I hope you're enjoying the ramen with me because that would make me very happy or just the necklace in general. You know I really like it because of the way they send me photos on Instagram. on the DMS I have all your pictures of you guys snuggled up like you're cozy on the couch with your dago and caddos hamsters and just catching up on YouTube and it all makes me so happy because that's what I do, yeah. Thank you so much for watching and I'll see you all in my next video, cookies and ramen everyone.
