Dollar Tree DIY | HIGH-END Laundry Room Farmhouse DecorApr 19, 2022
Hi everyone, welcome back and thanks for watching today. I will share with you
decorating ideas. I love how they all turned out. They were so easy and inexpensive to make with Dollar Tree. -stick the wall
decor3 6 by 8 canvases and 1 8 by 10 canvases the first thing i will do is remove the plastic and all the staples from all four canvases this took me a bit of time but if you don't want to remove one by one of the staples, you can always cut the canvas, just be very careful because this canvas will be reused for this DIY and I will cut the canvas to the size of the frames, this is easy to cut because the canvas already has the frame crease to make it easier cut along the line once i finish cutting all the canvas i am going to stain all the frames with Waverly Chuck brand antique wax.
I got this from Walmart but before staining or painting. I'm going to send it using these Do llar Tree sand sheets some of the frames are a little rough once I finish doing that I'm going to glue the canvas part to the back of the frame and use my hot glue the little frames will they will use for the dry wash unfolded I am going to peel them and glue them to the center of the frames for the larger frame I am going to put repeat but I am not going to put that in the center I am going to put it a little more on the top so I can put the rest of the stickers below.
I will add one of these hooks to each frame. I got them from other frames I had but you can find them at any hardware store and that's about it for this four piece washbasin. I love how they turned out, they look so fancy and they were so cheap to make and for this DIY I'm going to be using the Peel and Stick Wall Decor from Dollar Tree and also using this old love sign I got back from Dollar Tree. It was during Valentine's. I am reusing this. I've used it in one or my previous DIYs, but I thought this was perfect for this edging DIY.
I'll be using some cleats I got from Lowe's, yes they were less than $2 for a 36 inch stick and I'm also using a smaller one that I already had and this was from a pack I got from Walmart because my cleats aren't big enough, I decided to cut a bit of the sign just so I could have enough and I'm cutting it with the saw now I'm going to measure the 12 inch dowel and cut it in two that will be for the sides of my sign the 36 inch dowel I'm going to cut it into two once i've cut everything out i'm going to paint the back of the sign white because i wanted to use the sign flat that way they can all be flat you can't use the other side that has the planks i just chose no i'm going to give two coats of this white acrylic paint now I'm going to paint the square dowels with the old wax.
I'm just using the word
roomso I cut it out of the sign before gluing the words I'm going to glue the dowels around it. I'm just using hot glue. You can use a different glue, but I'm just using hot glue, so I accidentally didn't cut this far enough, so there's a little gap between them, but I'm going to. to cover it with a piece of this you can use a popsicle stick but I'm just going to cut off a little bit and then put it there and it's not even noticeable once it's painted now I'm going to add laundry room and that's it for this
high-end laundry room.
The course sign for this DIY I'm going to use the bottom as I said and I'm using this piece of wood that I had and whatever I'm making. is that I'm going to paint a white square in the middle. I gave it two coats of white acrylic paint and then I had trouble because I don't have painter's tape so I tried to use tape and it took some of the white. i removed the paint so i didn't use tape i just used a brush and painted around it with the old wax. Then I just added the other bottom part of the decal and that's this. so easy and simple to make my next DIY will be this plan.
I love how it turned out and it's big too it's about 17 inches tall and for this DIY I'm going to use this planter that I got from Dollar Tree when I started making this I wanted it to be the old color but it didn't hold well since this is plastic so that I had to go over it with the white acrylic paint I had to give these two coats of this paint I am going to paint the Edge with old wax for the vegetation. I'm going to use these two stems I bought at Walmart, they were 97 cents each and I'm going to use floral tape to make it taller.
I stacked them so I opened up one of the stems. and then put the other one inside and then use the tape to tape it around so they can be straight and can stand together so this will stay up. I'm going to use some floral foam and some pebbles and some green I mean some Spanish moss I'm going to start by gluing the floral foam inside the buck et or planter then I'm going to add the pebbles around it then I'm going to put the leaves inside, but I'm going to add a little bit of hot glue to this at the bottom of the stem so it can stay put.
I'm going to add the Spanish moss around it and that's it for this DIY. I love how it turned out. I love it. It is a large plant and combines very well with the rest of the decoration and you can leave it. like this and set it on the floor or you can use one of these little stands and it looks so much better on a stand. I'll leave the link below to the bracket I made using paint sticks so you can go check that out and that's it guys I hope you enjoyed this video thanks so much for watching please subscribe if you haven't already and until next time bye bye.
