I have paint stirring sticks from Home Depot, they come three for a

, so I have four here, we're out. What I'm going to do is basically make a

decor

ative frame out of it and I'll show you right now where I got the inspiration from so I'm basically going to go around it and I just bought the little miter box and the miter song at Home Depot for a super price economic. Well it comes together for ten dollars but when I went I couldn't find the package it came in so I bought the miter box and sauce separately, that's what we're going to use to cut it so I'm going to mark where I'm going to cut the pieces of wood, so we'll place them here and see how I want them to sit, so this bottom piece I'll mark here and that's what I'm going to cut.

Before I cut out the wood pieces, I'm going to go ahead and take this outside and paint it with some flat black spray paint and let it dry and then walk around, that's drying. I'm going to move on. and cut them out and I'll show you what I'm going to stain them with, okay, so this is the miter box and saw that I bought, this is the one that my husband should buy, so I experimented the first time I used it. putts and cut pretty well, so now I'll show you how I did it. I just place it I've always put it in the middle but it's easier if I put it to the side so I can hold it like this and then line it up where I have my pencil mark so that's how they're going to be placed so I'm using golden oak 210 B of Minwax and if you've been watching me where I've been using that same one you can for a long time, so now I'm going to go ahead and put on a clip.

I'm just taking a piece of old rag and we're going to start rubbing this stain just like that and then once I do that, what? What I like to do is take another one, like a piece of paper towel or another clean rag, and wipe it off like it wipes off the excess and it dries faster, so now I'm going to go ahead and set it up like it's supposed to. to go to the frame so I'm going to go ahead and pick it up and stick them and I can stick them here too so I'm going to put glue right there and then I'm going to glue on the sides and then I'm also going to add another support on the back and I'm going to show you that in a second I'm going to turn this around, be careful, I have four smaller craft sticks, but you can get a dollar

I'm just going to add it to the four sides where the two paint sticks meet, so I like that, so for the next one I have four of these dollar tree frames and as you can see, they have that galvanized bottom. I'm going to make a pocket wall with these frames. I'm going to go ahead and remove the backing, now what I'm going to do is take my pain sticks again and we're going to lay them out instead of making them flat like this, we're going to make them sideways so we can stick them towards the top like this, so it has that area inside to put things in, so I'm marking them the same way I did with the first DIY, just marking them with my pencil, okay, so I'm going to go ahead and cut this part out on the side.

So I can see how to put this one above. Now that I have that piece, this one is going to go over the top like this, hold it in place and we're going to cut it here. I have some water here and I. I'm going to mix some white and black paint to give it a gray stain. I also have some ground nutmeg. The Brown Apple Barrel paint will now be spread on the back. I'm going to place a little piece of wood. about a little over 12 inches and I'm going to stick it right here. I already have the middle piece in the galvanized area and I cut two pieces now.

If you cut this, be very careful because it is quite sharp. on the edges, so I'm going to glue them in the center like this and it also gets very hot when you add hot glue. I'm going to add number one and two just to make it look more like a farm. I have these letters from Walmart and numbers so I'm going to use them so for the next one I'm going to make a wooden cube to add flowers to so this one is really simple. I'll just take anything that's round, so I've got my paint can here.

I'm going to go swap it out for the other one because it's a little dented and then I have a piece of craft paper from Dollar Tree so this will help me hold the wooden sticks together that way I can remove them from the camp so basically you want to loosen it up enough so that when we're done gluing the craft sticks we can just take it off or maybe like right there, and we'll like that so we can glue the craft sticks together and it's not like it falls on the Walmart trash sticks. I'm going to go ahead and just trim off the bottom.

We're going to find out how long we need it, so let's see a little more. Okay, so I'm going to go ahead and start gluing them together and then when we're done, we're going to paint them whatever color we choose so that this round piece of wood from Dollar Tree really fits perfectly inside. I'm going to add hot glue, so I have more nutmeg brown with water and I'm going to start painting it by adding some stripes, taking my paper to remove some of the excess. Now I just have brown nutmeg and I'm just going to add some dark streaks of that and not have a little bit of choppy black.

I have some very thinned black paint very quickly depending on what look you're going for just wipe it off or thinned out brown so This is just experimenting with all the different colors you can totally tint it if you want so for the next one I just finished After returning from the Dollar Tree I went to buy some more things for these last two. I'm going to show it to you, so I picked it up, as you can see, it's 3.5 by five inches. I've got four. I want to make a little shell like a shelf to hang a farm towel or something so I'm going to show you how I put it together it's pretty simple again so basically we'll have them facing each other like this and then two of them like this okay , so let me take all of this off and then I'll show you how easy it is. is to glue it, so I'm going to glue them this way and then these two will go like this, the shelf part to hang whatever I want here.

I'm going to use one of these long skewers from Dollar Tree. They're super long, so they're perfect for this, so it'll go right here. I'm going to go ahead and cut them off. I'm going to need 12 of these giants. I'm going to basically put three of them in each frame right now. I'm going to measure the size I need to fit inside here, so of course we're going to cut the round end right here, like we always will. The times I've done it, I'll mark it and you'll put it right inside there so it fits perfectly, so I took another pack of paint sticks and three and cut them to the right size so they fit here again on the edge of the frames.

I'm going to figure out how to place them here and then we'll glue them together so we can put something on top again since this is Dollar Tree. Do you know what Dollar Tree DIY is and I'm just using? hot glue when I hope there's nothing heavy here, so I'm going to figure out how far away I want them to be and I won't lose them and I'm trying to give it room here so I can hang something here, remember To not add anything too heavy to this, no over a pound or two I'd say that's okay, so for the last one I'm doing a two tier shelf basically, so I have eight five by seven frames from Dollar Tree, so it's really simple.

What we are going to do is remove them and glue 4 together. I'm sure you've seen this a million times on YouTube. I've even done it a few times, so let's see if I can keep them real. Quick, like this, you would just stick them together like this and we'll do that to both of them, so there will be four with this one and then with the other four we'll do the same thing. I have two of the frames I removed all of them so the front of the shelf will be, the other six I left this part inside so we just have to make it down so it's connected to the glass so I'm debating whether to leave the sides small because This will help it stay in place, so I might do that because I don't think you can really see it.

Leave the glass facing down. I'm going to add a little bit of glue to the corners and then on this one there. I don't have anything, it will go on the front, okay, the last thing you can see is that I have both pretty ones. All I did now we found eight of these giant trash sticks. I cut them to fit on top right here. This is going to be a shelf, once I put these four here, I put this one here and then these four up here, I went ahead and added four more on the bottom right here just to complete the look a little bit and not add this here, so of course you guys In all my DIY jobs today it is recommended to use a stronger one like the e6000 and I have it here you don't know what it looks like I'm sorry if you hear screaming girl all my kids They're out again for this one, you don't.
