if you wanted to put some Q-tips or cotton. balls toothbrushes whatever this little cake stand and these jars are super cute together then I grabbed this little glass jar from Dollar Tree using a modern mint once again I twisted just the bottom and this only took one coat of spray paint to get full coverage nutmeg Brown acrylic paint and paint around like the rim and ridges, then immediately after cleaning it and I did this all over my little jar until it looks like this, you can do as much or as little as you want, now my failure My last DIY was spray painting, it gave me an idea so I bought this clear gloss spray paint for under $4 again and sprayed the stains a lot, that's a mouthful, the jar in just a few different areas, this me It's reminiscent of those aged ceramic glasses you see. at Hobby Lobby, gold spray paint from Dollar General for under $3, spray paint the top and then use nutmeg.

Brown, once again, paint all over the top, but then rub it in so you don't have brush strokes using black and the nutmeg just mixed together. The same with the darker color once again, applying dabs so you don't have brush strokes. By the way, you can also use a paper towel to do this and it will look like this, like aged stone or metal sprayed with the clear. glitter too, so these labels are from Dollar Tree. I've had them forever. I find it easier to write or hand something out freehand if you start with the middle letter and do the vertical lines first and then go back and do the horizontal lines. works pretty well for me.
I saw this on Pinterest a long time ago. It was like writing words changed my life. The black marker traced it and then stuck it on my and this cute little jar is totally ready. Obviously I'm not going to put it. Honey in my jar. I'm going to use it to save receipts. I save receipts that I may or may not want to return, or I'll just save all the receipts for the first month, and that's what this jar will be for the next DIY using this canvas. from the Dollar Tree is like a longer, harder fake wood canvas and oxide-oleum chalk paint, two coats, this was very dark and very bright, so it took two coats to get full coverage, black and white mixed together, I paint the sides and then use that same color to go back and dry brush the rest of the board, but I focus on the edges and sides.
I made some strokes. I ended up going back and using a darker gray on this, just a darker mix of gray, but it was totally the same technique now that I made this print and as always when I make a print I will ink it for free in the description and I also linked a in color. I originally planned to print mine in color, but something is wrong. With my printer, the yellow ink, even though it's not even halfway up, doesn't work, so whatever I'm improvising now, the nice thing about this canvas is that it's as long as regular printer paper, so that all you have to do is cut the edges.
Apply one capsule and place a generous amount over the entire canvas, then take a water bottle or whatever, spray your print with water. I know this sounds crazy, I know it can be scary, but I promise you this is the best way I know to do it. Get the wrinkles out of the paper, then take a brush or your fingers and just smooth back and forth in the same direction to get all the bubbles out now because I wanted this in color. I'm just taking three colored pencils. I'm going to color. I'm actually not even coloring the lines, this literally took me five minutes, I just quickly swiped some color all over the sign and then since I couldn't find a black colored pencil I just used a ballpoint pen and I really like the way this turns out I mean this looks pretty close to the color printing I originally intended to use, so if you don't have access to a color printer, you can still do this, my friend.
I love this sign, it's cute because it can stand on its own or by you. I can put it on the wall totally summery Beehive theme that is so popular right now diet cherry 7up empty 2 liter bottle not only is it tasty but it only costs 79 cents I cut the top off the cap and then use scissors to cut the middle because I found out it was easier, you can use any 2 liter bottle, but I know not everyone has two liters at home. It's only 79 cents to buy a 7up diet cherry, like I said, which is awesome anyway, a piece of cardboard or a foam board, use a cereal. box, if you just have to cut out the shape of the bottom with a little hot glue, leave the bottle because the bottle plastic is so thin and flimsy that you need something to help it keep its shape.
The Dollar Tree rope is a little hot. Glue and you're going to glue each side to the inside of the bottle so it makes a little loop or it looks like a roller coaster to me anyway, so you don't have to use a ton of hot glue, just a little bit. A little bit at the beginning, I start wrapping the rope around the bottle and I don't hot glue every line, like I just do it every three or four lines, and when you add hot glue, try adding it to the rope. like not directly on the bottle because, as I said, the plastic is very, very flimsy.
I promise, I'm on my second piece of rope now. I just take a little piece of black duct tape, stick it on the bottom and add hot glue. I'll continue wrapping until I get to the duct tape and overlap the rope a bit over the duct tape. Hot glue. Pick up where you left off and continue wrapping. It may not make sense, but I'm sure you can see what I. What I'm doing and I did it about four times and then the fifth line of rope you can continue wrapping it all the way around when it's done, take the bottle cap, put it in the middle and you're not going to hot glue it on. the mug you're hot gluing the rope, we're just using the cop as an outline or guide to get a perfect circle and I did it twice enough to cover the frayed edges of the rope, cut it out, hot glue it and then you can take the lid off easily as long as you don't hot glue the lid and if you do I'm sure you could still get it off now.
I had used the nine point five feet of rope and I used about 20 a little over 20 feet of rope, so if you have 13 feet you only need two pieces, if you have nine point five you will need a little over two pieces of rope to do this . I put this in a bird's nest. I made it for spring with some
