More Interesting Facts About,

I'm not sure what she's doing exactly, but I can't wait. to watch your video and with all that, let's go ahead and get into today's video, so here's everything I started with, these are some items from Dollar Tree and some second hand items, the cake pans are second hand hand, but you can get them, I mean, almost these same ones. The things at Dollar Tree, the candle holders are from Dollar Tree and these are secondhand items, like big wooden beads, I guess, and then that little wooden thing, I don't know what it is, I bought it at the

thrift

store, the I bought it because I found out one day.

I could use it for something, do you know what it's for? I have no idea but it was finally used today for this

tray

so I was really excited because I've had it for a year. I've had it for a long time, here's a little hobby knife kit you can get from our teza. I have used this many times since purchasing it and have a nice coupon code in my description box. If you're interested, I use this. The whole time here, I'm just using the small, flat one to remove my little stickers, so to start I took some Waverly chalk paint in white and painted everything white.

I have a hair dryer that I use to dry everything that way when I have to put on a couple of coats. I don't have to wait for everything to dry, so I put two coats on and then I have a little bit of e6000 glue here and also a little bit of hot glue. It used to be 6000. and you have to wait like I wait all night for mine to dry. I don't know exactly how many hours it takes, but it takes a long time, but it makes it a lot stronger than hot glue, so I just put it all together with the e6000 and I think I'll show you how strong it is with the glue after it's dry.
I move it around so this is a two tier

tray

and I love, love, love the way it turned out, especially with the little foot things. or I don't know why I call them foot things but you know, the little beads on the bottom, I don't know what you call them but anyway I think they're really really pretty and just give it extra details and I love it what it looks like so I glued everything together I hot glued the bottom pieces but one of them ended up popping off so I added and went back and added some e6000 and I've made trays and

farmhouse

beads on my channel.
Recently, this will be considered my

spring

tray and I plan to decorate it with brighter

spring

decor here in the future. Here I decided I didn't really like the way it looked. Oh, here I'm showing you how to see. how resistant it is when you move it that glue works quite well. I used my miter box kit and decided to cut the little knob off one end and then glue it back on and I think it looks a lot better this way and now while they're waiting for it to dry completely waiting for the e6000 to dry.
I decided to work on all the decorating, so here I am making some farm beads from Dollar Tree and you just get some wooden skewers. I'm not sure if they carry these at Dollar Tree right now, but they sold them last summer and here's some chalk paint and the white color that I bought at Walmart and then the other paint that I just bought at Home Depot in the last few weeks and I'm just using a small brush from Walmart and putting on two coats and then drying them in between. Here I show you another option.
You can get one of these at Dollar Tree. These little foam things are called foam boxes. Cut it in half and then stick your skewer into each of the sticks that cut the foam board in half. Lay one side of each foam board. You know that you know what to do well. They put the skewer in the middle and then it will hold your beads which you can paint them easier once the beads are dry. I simply put them on the jute twine and then tied each end with two knots so the beads don't come off.
You want to make sure your knot is bigger than all the beads and then I made two tassels. I'm not very good at making tassels yet, so I'll spare you the process of watching me do it, but I made two tassels with my secondhand yarn. I'll try to find Casey's video, she makes an amazing video, she has a tutorial on how to make the tassels. I'll try to link it below in my description box. Next, I moved on to these super adorable little trucks they have at Dollar Tree right now. three of them I only ended up using two but I decided to paint them and then these are little plants, mini plants, fake plants that I bought at the

thrift

store in the last few weeks and then the little succulent frames are also from Dollar Tree that I got in the last few weeks, so I hope you still have them if you want to recreate this look.
I thought they would be really cute with the little succulents on the back of the trucks so again I used my handy little hobby kit and removed the glue, that glue is really hard to remove. I tried using some wire cutters from Dollar Tree and I couldn't get it off so I was able to scrape it off with that metal putty knife and then I sanded it and now I'm going to paint the little trucks and I just put a couple coats on it and then lightly brushed it after that dried up. I lightly brushed it with white paint.
Oh, I went over the tires with black. Next, we'll use some more Waverly chalk paint. I think that's the celery color and just going over them I wanted them to be a brighter green color so I went over them a couple of times here. I thought I was going to go ahead and paint all the leaves to match, but that didn't happen. It looks good as soon as I started doing it, I realized, so I cleaned it up immediately and then here I am just doing the light whitewashing. I'm really loving that look lately, so pretty, like neutral paint colors with just a light whitewash on top.
I just think it's really cute, that's how they turned out and I think they're so adorable, so I took some hot glue and stuck them on the back of the little trucks and I think they're really cute below. We're going to go ahead and work on our frames, and as you'll see, at first I started with a regular brush, and then I grabbed a sponge brush, and then I finally said, "Okay, I can't get into the, you know, against the edge." I knew I was going to make a mess everywhere, so you really need to use a good brush, which is not as good as it is expensive, but it is a brush that can reach the corners without reaching the edges.
Here I'm using my cricket that I bought for Christmas and I'm just measuring how big I need my words to be on the cricket mat and then I just designed some different sayings at first I thought I was going to use plant themed sayings but then I ended up just grateful and blessed because all the words I made were too big and I got frustrated and decided to use two simple words and that's what I did. Here is an art vinyl from Ezza. I love this ending because it comes. on sheets I love using the sheets much more than when the vinyl is on a roll and I've never seen it in a store like on sheets but at least I'm naïve, I live in a small town so I don't have much choice here but our teza vinyl is very good quality and you can see that I ended up switching to black instead of blue and I did so grateful and blessed and I think these are very cute and they are the perfect size for a

tiered

tray, this is how they turned out and you can paint these little frames of any different color and maybe you can open the inside out and paint it that way maybe it would be easier.
These are some wooden eggs I bought at the thrift store. store I can't remember when a while ago and I just held on to them because I knew I was going to wear them when Easter was coming up and I watched the Di Wires Buffalo Check video diary, she has one where she does pink. and white, so that was the one I used as a reference and I just did different colors. I used gray and then lightened it with a little bit of white and my eggs didn't turn out as well so I only finished one of them because they were just the paint was everywhere and my lines weren't straight so anyway the one I made it really cute.
I love it and again this tutorial I followed is from Shannon at DIY er journal, she has some really good Buffalo Chuck tutorials and here you can see it started out a little crooked but I fixed it and then sanded it and I think it's really cute. I love this egg. I think it's perfect for a

tiered

tray. Now we go back to our tray, we're going to go ahead and paint it and I wanted my black to not be like a harsh black color, so I mixed in a little bit of truffle. I wanted it to be a softer black but not grey, so I just mixed it until I was happy with the color and that's the color I was looking for and here I looked on Pinterest for inspiration.
I knew what I wanted my tray to look like, but I always go to Pinterest and find what I'm looking for. I know I have an inspiration in my mind to be able to see it visually and then I just rubbed my brush all over it trying to give it a, I don't know, rustic, chipped glaze look, and I really love the way it turned out I think if you were someone who was really good at using something else besides a paintbrush, you could have taken some toilet paper or something and blotted it up, but I knew it would make a huge mess. so I just used the brush and I think it turned out really pretty and then I just went over the edges with a sponge brush like I said to give it that glazed look and that's what I did and here I'm just going over the entire inside to give it back that enamelled look and give it details.
I am very, very happy with the result. I love this tray. I usually make the three-tier tray. I've never done a two-tiered one. tall like this so I think it turned out very very pretty and I can't wait to decorate it first for spring and Easter and this is how it turned out like I said if you were better using something else you could give it a more chippy look instead to do it with a paintbrush, but I still think it turned out really pretty and I love the top, so here's everything we did and let's go ahead and decorate it.
I hung it up. I moved on to that piece of wood I saw and removed it in case I wanted to use it to prop up one of my little trucks, so here I just decorated everything until I was happy with it and I think it turned out really cute, so let me know. what you guys think and don't forget to check out Casey from Coffee with my Sunshine and subscribe if you're interested, give her a big thumbs up, show her some love and I'll call the month of February, the month of friends for me, because I have a very fun meltdown coming up for you.
