I think it looks really cute and now We're going to turn those not cute ones, they're creepy and now we're going to turn our little tree trunk here and the squirrel a little bit creepier so my first step is to use some white because As we learned in a recent DIY, if you want a color to be vibrant, you'll want to put white underneath to make the squirrels' eyes bleed. And there's a scene where there are bunnies that are Wallace and Gromit's curse of the rabbit man, so I made white in all areas. that I wanted you to read it, which includes the squirrels eyes as well as some drops of blood on the sides and the acorn, the bottom of the eaten corn and I went in and textured the bowl a little bit and then I went in with red paint on top. all these areas and I learned something from doing the blood drips.

I found that it looked much more real if I added a lot of paint on my brush and then let it drip to the bottom of the blood drip instead of just painting. in a flat blood drip because Oh, blood usually dries like a 3D dress, whatever. I also added some white fangs on the little squirrel, but overall I kept it pretty simple so it didn't get too sticky too quickly, here's what my final bowl looks like. I think it looks pretty fancy as far as Halloween goes and I think it was a simple transition from a slightly tacky Christmas to a cool, low-key Halloween.

I don't have a bowl of Halloween candy and you know, handing out Halloween candy in your tupperware isn't super cute so this is the goal, all we need is candy, never made, not sponsored, where's the one Reese? So I'm going to make this cabinet next, which is already really cute, but I think I want to flip it. Furthermore, something in our style that is already a big trend that we are loving right now is arched doors, arched windows arch everything, so I think it would be really fun to try to turn these little window frames into a more arched frame. design I have an idea of ​​how I'm going to do this, but I don't know if it will work, so you guys are going to join me on the adventure, okay, so I'm going to create the new arcs.

To use something quite thick, it's not even that thick, it's just solid and not the corrugated type and I'm going to trace starting with the current curve of the window and then adding what I want my new curve to be. I'm just tracing something circular to get a nice arc and then joining the sides of the circles so they are flush with the edge of the cardboard. With some scissors, I'm cutting out these two shapes, so now I have these two little inserts that when I put them on the glass part and now I'm going to make a new curved bottom before I go and add them permanently.

I want to paint the back because you will see this through the glass and once I put them up I don't know how they will look. I'm going in there to paint, so I'm going to page just the backs for now and then to add them to the doors. I'm just using a little bit of hot glue. There is a slightly beveled edge which can cause the glue to sit there and then set. the cardboard pieces on top, okay, and now this part is maybe where I get a little questionable, but I really hope it works.

I'm going to use normal wall putty that you would use to cover the holes andfill in the cracks along where I added my new curved edge to make it look like a seamless front for these doors. I like putty because honestly it's really soft and easy to use and fills in the gaps, dries nice and solid and can actually be sanded if you make a mistake, so that's what I'm trying to do on top of my new pieces to let them mix well, so now my putty has dried, it looks like this. I also put a little bit of putty around the edges just to make it all blend together, that's why there's Now tape here you see a little bit of putty, that's why I'm going to come with some sandpaper now and hopefully smooth everything out. once the fronts were well sanded.

I actually took the entire cabinet apart so I could remove all the silver hardware once I had basically just the cabinet shell with the two. doors I went ahead and painted everything. I'm using this pretty sage green color. Once everything was dry, I put it back together but chose to omit the center shelf. The reason I am leaving this shelf is because, first of all, I think it would be difficult to find things this small that fit under the shelf and on top of the shelf and I also want to turn this into some sort of jewelry tree or necklace storage cabinet , so once I put the last one back together What I wanted to do with fender hooks on the table to hang some necklaces, wow, we're really channeling Gabby's thing here hoping it was green, oh my gosh, so To do that I'll just use a pilot drill. hole with a few holes first because these things can be a little hard to get in with just your fingers once the holes were there, they are easy to screw in and I made four of them in a row so this is the finished little cycle mini cabinet that now It has a small hook to hang necklaces.
