I'm using some quick dry putty paste to fill any of the Holes I'm really not too concerned about perfection because most new shelving will overlap as that's where the studs were in the wall but I still wanted I wanted this area to be as smooth and even as possible so that a new coat of paint could be applied. and while those holes were drying I started on the trim as you can see there was a line down the middle from where the doors were they had been painted years ago but clearly got lost behind the door so I'm focusing on that and also giving the surrounding areas a quick touch up oh oh only you move me to the beat if you love me let me hear you say my name my name yes for this space I'm going to make my own shelves which will essentially hold all the laundry room supplies and also some minimal decor i am prepping the wood with a sanding block just to lift any of the sharp edges and i had Home Depot cut them to 48 inches each which was the exact size of the previous shelves and since they were cut the edges were a little rough and raw so this was a necessary step once the sanding is done I'll clean them up quickly to remove any dirt that may be there so I can r applying the stain to the shells i am using a clear matte stain from verithane brand i think that is how they say this brand is easy to work with and convenient you can find it at home depot i love the natural wood color to start with so i to preserve its integrity i chose to stay clear and i loved the way the shells ended up looking in the space i feel like it totally achieves the clean modern bohemian look i was going for and as you can see i took my brush and worked in

small

sections of the stain itself dried pretty quickly overall and enhanced the natural grain in the wood without altering the color which is exactly what you wanted come on and fall in love with me.

I wanted to stick with the white theme because this space is small, so anything white makes it seem bigger, lighter, and more airy, and as I mentioned earlier, the previous shells were on the studs, so I just went as close as possible. possible to those holes and at the same time I secured all the supports to the wood to make sure nothing would fall off and it was sturdy for everything that would be on top with no seams next, I wanted to do some inexpensive art so I bought two small ikea frames and then i cut some nice plain computer paper into the size i needed.
I just used some acrylic paint to make my own design. I love anything abstract and it's so simple to recreate art. I do my own stuff all the time and I love sharing these

with you so you can remodel your own spaces in a cost effective way. em in the frame and those were ready to go don't look at me like this walking out the door like this don't feel sorry oh this is the last project before i move on to cleaning the laundry room i had a blue bottle of detergent that just didn't go with the decor so if you don't want to buy anything new this is perfect just remove the tag and spray the whole set whatever color works for your space all those possibilities lead me through you just see me. using my swiffer with the cloth to remove anything from the walls and ceiling now i am spraying the shelves with washer and dryer so i can prep the space for your decor i have never been there this is my favorite thing to organize i bought all the glass jars from ikea and we'll fill them with the laundry powders or stain powders i have you'll see in a second i bought these wooden spoons at hobby lobby for 50 off they were in the wedding aisle but they worked perfectly just tell her on your mind Me last time once the jars were filled I grabbed these labels I found on Etsy they are waterproof and had a cute touch so I will add them and then fill two glass sprayers from amazon with the liquid stain removers that I have and will be sure to link as much as I can below just to make it easier for you guys.

I'm finishing up every last bit of

organization

I know it seems weird to keep the bulbs in here but it's easier to find them when they're all in one place and these bulbs are for the hallway lights and also for the rooms upstairs most of my decor it will be based on functionality apart from a few pieces with little space I did not want to exaggerate in the decoration but to keep a minimum space that is sustainable in the long term and also something that is practical for us I am incorporating older pieces that I had in my house like the palm leaves that I use in each room and some new decor pieces that really help to get this space organized i printed this alexa sign on the computer and framed it, combined it with my art pieces and one of the last minute touches that added was this black pull bar that is meant for cabinets i hung it under the shelf and for only a few bucks it holds the hangers So I need to air dry the clothes in a really cute way and we're about to reveal it in full guys I can't believe what a transformation this was.
