Oh, we can't pretend we've changed now that everything is ready. I'm using some quick drying putty paste to fill. On any of the holes, I'm not really too concerned about perfection because most new shelving will overlap since that's where the studs were in the wall, but I still wanted this area to be as smooth and uniform as possible so I could applied a new coat of paint and while those holes were drying I started on the molding, as you can see there was a line down the middle from where the doors were. They had been painted years ago, but they clearly weren't behind the door, so I'm concentrating on that and also giving the surroundings a quick touch-up oh oh just you move me to the beat if you love me let me hear you say my name my name yeah For this space I will be making my own shelves that basically hold all the laundry room supplies and also minimal decor.

I'm prepping the wood with a sanding block just to lift up any of the sharp edges and I had Home Depot cut them to 48 inches each which was the exact size of the shelves above and since they were cut the edges were a little rough and raw, so this was a necessary step once the sanding is done I'll give them a quick wipe down to get rid of any dirt that may be there so I can apply the shell stain. I am using a transparent matte stain from the brand Verithane. I think that's how you say it.

This brand is easy to work with and convenient. You can find it at Home Depot. I love the color of natural wood. To begin with, to preserve their integrity, I chose to go with clear and I loved the way the shells ended up looking in space. I feel like it totally achieves the clean, modern bohemian look I was going for and as you can see. I took my brush and worked in

small

sections, the stain dried pretty quickly overall and enhanced the natural grain of the wood without altering the color, which is exactly what you wanted, come and fall in love with me, I'm back inside. to sand the caulk and since I wasn't going to take out the washer and dryer, I tried to minimize the mess as best I could since the sand got everywhere, so I got a little creative and cut a paper plate out of the half to collect everything that fell. once that's done, I'll quickly apply some paint.
The color I'm using today is snow. This is my favorite paint color of all time. We have this color in our house in several different rooms. It's the perfect white with a gray tint. and it's from the sherwin williams brand oh baby, baby, well thinking about keeping you dancing hard in your head, the devil on your shoulders, don't look at me like that when you break my heart like that, like you feel sorry, it's yours. guilt, this was hours later, Joe helped me install the shelf supports, which I really appreciated. These are from Home Depot and I think they cost about two dollars per stand.
I wanted to stick with the white theme because this space is small, so anything that's white. It made it look bigger, brighter and airier and as I mentioned earlier the previous casings were on studs so we're going to get as close to those holes as possible while also securing all the brackets to the wood to make sure nothing gets stuck. fall and fall. sturdy for everything that would go on top no sew next i wanted to make some cheap art so i bought two small frames from ikea and then cut some good regular computer paper into the size i needed.
I just used a little acrylic paint to make my own design I love everything abstract and it's super simple to recreate the art the more you do it the better you get at it. I make my own things all the time and I love sharing these

ideas

with you so you can renovate your own spaces at a cost. Effectively, many of these things can be done by anyone and cost almost nothing, but once they dried, I put them up. in the frame and that's it, don't look at me like that walking out the door like that?
Sorry, oh, this is the last project before we move on to cleaning the laundry room. I had a blue detergent bottle that just didn't match the decor, so if you don't want to buy anything new this is perfect, just remove the label and spray paint everything, whatever color works for your space, all those possibilities that I guide, you just saw me using my cleaner with the rag to remove anything from the walls and ceiling, now I am spraying the shelves to clean the washer and dryer, so I can prepare the space for your decoration. I've never been there.
This is what I like to do the most. Organize. I bought all the glass jars from ikea and we will fill them with the washing powders or dyes that I have. I'll see in a second. I bought these wooden paddles at Hobby lobby for 50 off. They were in the wedding aisle, but they worked perfectly. Just tell me you remember that last time was once the jars were full I grabbed these labels I found on etsy. They are waterproof and were a nice touch so I'll add them and then fill two glass sprayers from Amazon with the liquid stain removers I have and be sure to link as much as I can below to make it easier.
For you, you have to pay for the mistakes that each of you made. I found these kids shoe bins at the bin store to hold dryer sheets and dust cloths. I always look beyond the labels, just because it's intended for something, doesn't mean you. I can't find a million other uses for it and this turned out to be the cheapest option for a square box with a lid. Hey? I'm finishing the last of the

organization

. I know it seems strange to store light bulbs here, but it's easier. To find them when they are in one place and these bulbs are for the hallway lights and also the rooms upstairs, most of my decor will be based on functionality, apart from a few pieces with little space, I didn't want to go overboard. in decoration but rather to keep it in a minimal space that is sustainable in the long term and also something that is practical for us.
I'm incorporating old pieces I had in my house like the palm leaves I use in each room and some new decor. pieces that really help achieve this organized space. I printed this Alexa sign on the computer and framed it, paired it with my artwork and one of the last minute touches I added was this black pull up bar meant for cabinets. I hung it under the shelf and for just a few dollars it holds the hangers I need to air dry clothes in a really cute way and we're about to do the full reveal. I can't believe the transformation this was.
