More Interesting Facts About,

I'm going to create a utensil organizer so I can organize my wooden utensils, so I'm just using hot glue to connect the three cubes. You can also use wood glue or if you want to drill it, you can do that too, but hot glue works fine. I'm going to use smart acrylic craft paint, any acrylic paint that you have or any chalk paint or any paint that you have would work too, so I'm just going to use this light blue powder color and I'm just going to use my artist brush. When painting these wooden cubes, I will apply a couple of coats on all sides and also the top edge.

I won't paint the inside of the cubes after letting them dry, this is how it should look, like I didn't take the bottom part. Also, since it won't be seen, I'm going to embellish the outside or front using the sticky signs I have on hand, they're also from Dollar Tree, and I'm just going to spell out the word eat EA. So I'm just trying to make sure I line up each letter. I'm just observing it here. If you want to use the ruler, you can do that too, but I want to keep it simple and easy.

I just visualize it. I will also be using these disposable wooden cutlery sets from Eco Buddies and they also reached out to me to try their products and I always wanted to check out the disposable wooden cutlery sets that I have been seeing online so these are all natural premium quality and they are disposable and biodegradable, so any time it's eco-friendly I love to use them, so they are one hundred percent birch wood and they are compostable and contain no chemicals or dyes, so there are about 150 pieces here, 54 X 50 spoons and 15 knives, so I will put them in each compartment, so one compartment for the forks, one for the spoons and one for the knives.
I love that the natural finish of the cutlery set matches the inside of the wood. Now you can leave the The wood is also bare unpainted, but I think the contrast looks good now. I'm going to attach a couple of handles here using some nautical rope that I also bought at a Dollar Tree, so I'll create like an inverted U or something like that. a horseshoe shape, just keeping it simple and then hot gluing it on each side and then letting it dry and then you're done. I have a handle on each side to carry my utensil cart, so it will be perfect for entertaining if you're interested in trying it out too.
By trying these products here, you know these wooden utensils. I'll link them in the description box below as well, that's how it's set up. I've got it ready for spring with my Ceramics bunny in there and also my bunny plate and a bunch of silk flowers from Dollar Tree for my next DIY. I'm going to recycle a little bit here or save the trash to treasure using this packing box and I'm going to create a storage space under the bed, this is under the bed. bed storage so I'm going to remove all the flaps from the four sides and then what I'm going to do as well is trim one of the shorter flaps so I can put it in the center because like you I could see that the center is not quite even , so to make it a little even or just reinforce it, I'm just going to use one of the shorter flaps now, I'm also going to open this up now, you can skip this if you want.
I'm going to use a thicker material to cover it, but since I'm going to use contact paper sold by Dollar Tree, sometimes you can see pictures underneath, so what I did was reverse it, using the inside as the outside. So I'm just rebuilding it again and then the outside part became the inside part, so again you can skip this if you don't mind seeing the pictures below or if you want to duplicate the contact paper, so I measured the contact paper and then cutting to different sizes or several strips here, some will cover the sides and then one on the bottom, so I'll cover the outside first using all the strips that I cut and again, this is a contact paper from Dollar Tree, like this I need to reinforce it underneath too, to make sure it doesn't come off because they can come off easily, so I've been reinforcing them to make sure they stick and don't come off now that the middle part I'm marking it a little bit and then trimming it to the also measured to fit perfectly in the center and then again using my packing tape.
I'm originally putting some tape in there. I was thinking about reinforcing the bottom with this, but then I realized I want to block out the sides of the inside so the pictures and some of the overlapping contact paper don't show through. Then I'll cover them with contact paper as well so she knows I'm not doing any measurements here for you or labeling. anyone give you any measurements as long as you have something that fits under the bed this one is about three inches or three and a half inches tall and the width it all depends on what you have now if you don't have anything like this .
You can also use the foam board that they sell at Dollar Tree, so here I'm just covering the inside, you know, the bottom inside of the box to make it look nicer and then I'm covering each of those flaps that I've cut or trimmed to size to be able to duplicate and cover the imperfection, so this is not only to cover the images, do you know the brand image on the box or did you see it on the box, but also to reinforce it? which will be thicker and not flimsy and as you can see I'm just hot gluing them together and trimming them as I go because the contact paper added some height so I just had to readjust here I'm just measuring . where I'm going to drill a hole or a couple of holes actually because I'm going to add a handle so I can easily pull it out or push it in so pull it out from under the bed just to measure where I'm going to drill the holes I'm just using a sharp object or pointed and this is a letter opener that I'm using just to punch my holes so I'm also punching not just from the inside but also from the outside and then making sure I make it wide enough for my string to handle this is another string nautical that I had left over from the previous project and I'm just cutting it to size, probably cutting at least probably eight inches long so that there will be enough so that I can tie a couple of knots on each end that will act as stops for my handle to It stays in place and doesn't fall apart when I pull it in and out, so here I put some towels, face towels and some bedding. here and a blanket to kind of show you what it looks like and you know if you want to trim the sides or the top as well just to make it a little more finished with a little more nautical rope, but I didn't do that.
I want to waste materials but you can do that for contrast. You can see it's on top of the bed right now. I didn't film it under the bed anymore. I just want to show you what it looks like next time. I'm coming. Show you the finished project because it's actually a flashback and I'm going to link it in the description box below as well as a visual card in the top right corner where you can see all the steps on how I created this. It's one of my favorite DIYs, if not my favorite, and I thought I'd include it here because it's also

and I use only the plastic cutting boards they sell at Dollar Tree, as well as a couple of frames that fit the size and also. that handle is the rolling pin from Dollar Tree and I'm also organizing the kitchen utensils, the wooden utensils that they also sell at Dollar Tree and that square glass vase that's also from Dollar Tree that I wrapped with some leftover wrapping paper.
Buffalo check wrapping paper and I also organize my recipe books in there as well as my travel notebooks and to match my chef who also carries Buffalo checks so again if you want to watch the video on this one because I know from Heidi's channel. If you haven't subscribed yet, there are some new subscribers who may also come check this out so I want to include this as well and I also used it in the fall to save my lavender parts for my fourth and final DIY. I'm going to recycle or reuse this big empty cookie tin, so I thought I'd paint it instead of keeping this nostalgic paint scheme here.
I'm just going to renew it now. Here's some ASMR that sounds very satisfying. Anyway, I'm just using some leftover chalk paint and I've already used it on several projects, including painting furniture, so I'm going to paint directly over it. There are about a couple or maybe three coats of paint. Actually, it's probably better if I just spray painted this, but I decided to paint it like this and it worked anyway, so I've got three good coats there and just left a little bit of rough edges so now it looks rustic since the lid is etched . or textured I don't want to paint it and I want to give it a little more rustic look by wrapping it with jute or nautical rope that they sell at Dollar Tree again this is some of the leftovers that I have been using since then. the first project and I'm just applying hot glue here on the tip and then that's just going to be my starting point.
I'm just curling or rolling it in the center making sure it's tight, no gaps or holes showing, just squeeze it. and then I'm just going to do it and roll it up until I can create a cover for the lid, so I'm NOT hot gluing all the areas here, as you'll notice, I'm just doing them in increments, so this was not long enough, so I have another roll so I used about a roll and a half here for this project and I was also able to cover to the bottom of the lid, then I'll try that of course.
It will still fit because the same lid is covered with jute and I love it. I love how it turned out. It's so simple, so I'm going to label it again with the letters BRE, bread ad, and these are a different style as well. letters, these are the smaller letters that they sell at

dollar

ops, these are the sign stickers, so this is so neutral, so farmhouse and I love it, and if you want to protect it, go ahead and add Mod Podge alone so they don't peel off and If you want to paint or apply Mod Podge all over, even on top of the paint, you can also do that to keep it more protected, this is what it looks like and I'll show you everything, so I'm actually going to Try it here with a full loaf of whole wheat bread and then some leftover bread that we have and they fit with a little more room so I hope you enjoyed this video.
