DETAILED look at C7 CORVETTE Z06 TRIM PACKAGES!! 1LZ, 2LZ, and 3LZ!!

I wanted to go over the differences in the finish. The

offered for the c7 zo6 are fine, so a question came up in the comments section from one of my subscribers asking the differences between the 1lz, 2lz and 3lz

It was the same person who asked the question about the differences of the aero kit between stages 1, 2 and 3, which I already made a video of, you can check it out by clicking above and this will be basically the same type of video, only I'm going Let's go over the differences in GM's equipment offerings, so let's first start by reviewing all the options that come with all

trim

models as standard with each trim package you'll get the same 6.2-liter supercharged engine the head-up display the same two separate 8-inch screens inside Eight-way power seats with leather surfaces Power tilt-and-telescoping steering column Keyless entry with push-button start Rearview camera Mag Ride Select Driver Mode Leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel Carbon fiber hood Body-color aluminum frame roof panel manual and automatic transmission options high-performance exhaust nickel-plated aluminum wheels Brembo brakes now also the zo7 package I have on my car here is offered on any of these models , so you don't have to get a 3lz to get the zo7 package Now basically the easiest way to go over this will be to start with what comes standard with the 3lz and 2lz models, so what you'll get standard with the E2L Z and 3LZ packages will be auto dimming. side mirror/heated mirrors Bose 10-speaker system, that extra speaker you get with the 2 LZ and 3 LZ is a subwoofer for any of you who don't know that the power booster and power lumbar seat adjusters are heated and ventilated on the driver and passenger side. seats cargo net luggage sunshade seat memory package advanced anti-theft systems and interior motion sensors garage door opener and front view cameras now any of you who are familiar with my car here know it's a 2015.

I didn't have the option at that time. For front view cameras, this list is taken from the new 2019 options, so for the most part everything translates with the exception of things that weren't an option in 2015, now we'll go over these options in a little more detail . detail obviously we know the auto dimming side mirror which is the side mirror and it automatically dims at night and also heats up along with the passenger so the 10 speaker system tilts which is exactly what I have in mind this car, here only what is the subwoofer. in the rear cargo area and this right here behind the cargo net which is the tenth speaker for the bow system which is the subwoofer the heated and ventilated driver and passenger side seats is right here which has air conditioning and heating those are the buttons those buttons are Literally missing on any model lower than the 2 or 3 LZ, also the seat memory package which is located right here on the door.

Basically, you can have one or two entry points where basically the seat will slide forward or backward depending on how low or high it is. person is driving so you can basically have two profiles set up for two different people to drive this car and it also gives you auto entry and exit capability so you can see where the steering wheel is and the seats are set up now once. I get in there and press the ignition, the seat will slide forward and the steering wheel will go down and then lift up and slide back again once I exit the vehicle, so having the advanced anti-theft system is a good option.

The interior motion system and sensors I'm not really sure what the anti-theft system is, other than the typical alarm system, the interior motion sensors are actually down here, you can see it's there and it's actually cool. I didn't even realize how advanced it is. It really was until one day I was at a car show and I had my windows on the field and the doors were closed and the car was and someone came and put a steering wheel inside like it was just a piece of paper on the seat and so soon as Then the alarm started going off so I came, turned off the alarm, locked the car, locked the door and everything and walked away and a little bit later I walked over and noticed there was a piece of paper there. so I reached in and grabbed the paper and as soon as I did, it set off the alarm again, so it's very, I would say, I guess, clever, but it's cool, it's not like a normal alarm system in a normal car, like that which is kind.

It's great to have that option and they give you the button down there to turn it off and the only thing I can think of as to why you would want to turn it off would be in a situation like that car show or if this was being transported on some type of train and you wanted to shut it down. that way no movement or anything would activate it up here is the garage door opener that is standard with two LZ or 3lz packages and you won't get that on the 1/lc it's nice to have if you have a garage that way it's one thing less that you have to carry in the car now, like I said, mine is a 2015, so I don't have the front view cameras where I would have had them if they had been at least 16.

They usually go. I think it's here or here one on this side and then the same thing on the passenger side here and what they do is basically, obviously, give you a view of anything in front of the car every time you park it that way you don't hit that expensive front lip the options you'll get standard with a standard 3lz that don't come with any other package to be a PDR and GPS so they come standard with the 3lz whereas on a LZ you can choose those options but these are standard options provided that if you check the 3lz box you will get them automatically.

There are some options that are only available. on a three LZ these are the options that unless you get a three LZ you won't be able to get into this car which will have dark red painted calipers so the spice red color on the calipers 10 spoke nickel painted blade pearl aluminum wheels, that's the special tire that comes on the cars, literally, it's only available on the 3lz, yellow, red and blue, custom leather interior stitching, premium interior trim package wrapped in microfiber, which will show you like I said, mine being a 3lz, the interior from here up is all wrapped with Alcantara suede microfiber or whatever you want to call it interior, everything is wrapped from here up to LZ and 1lz, this is like a cloth cover, while this It is the Alcantara suede style on the roof on the visors. on the A pillars, even back here, a little bit up to the halo part, so it's something that's only available on the 3lz, the nappa leather, which will basically be a higher quality leather interior for the car that's only available. on the 3lz the high gloss carbon fiber instrument panel trim which is the trim around you know the radio and around the dash and everything you can get in the matte finish on the LZ or 3lz but just you can get the high gloss. version on the 3lc, the console lid with the embroidered zo6 logo, which I'll show you here, which is only an option on the 3lz, the custom leather-wrapped interior package that will basically put leather all over the dash. while with the 1lz and 2lz you don't get a fully leather-covered platter and lastly there will be the steering wheel wrapped in carbon fiber and microfiber, making it an option that recently became available only on 19 and up models.

I guess at this point just the 19s it was something they changed with the zr1, they added the steering wheel where on the top it was carbon fiber, on the bottom of those carbon fibers on the sides a suede microfiber Alcantara or like be called that. It was also only an option for the 3lz, so any of the standard options on the 3lz are available for the LZ as an option except the ones I listed which are specifically only for the three LZs, so everything that comes standard on a three LZ are you going to get it as standard on both LZs or is it an option apart from that list of things that are specific to three LZs, so like I said, PDR and GPS come standard on a three LZ where they don't comes standard. on a 2 LZ but you can choose to have it on a 2 LZ now with the 1 LZ things are a little more limited and it is said to be the lightest of all the trim packages due to the fewest amenities so to speak.

Let's go over what you can't add to GM's 1 LZ: You won't get or have the option of carbon fiber interior trim, the driver's side auto-dimming rearview mirror, the auto-dimming rearview mirror, the power boost, and electric lumbar support. seat heated or ventilated seats two-tone seats cargo net luggage shading seat memory package advanced anti-theft system garage door opener or front-view cameras none of those will be a GM option some of those things will be They can add after purchase It's a lot like carbon fiber - you could buy it and put it on yourself if you wanted, but things like the seat memory package and things that will be a little harder to add if you ever wanted to.

I'm not a hundred years old. Percent sure if it's possible I'd say it's probably not worth it but it won't be a GM option so with the 1 LZ you'll still get the things I listed at the beginning as standard for all models like the obviously the same 6.2 liter engine and all that, you'll get the same two eight inch color screens but no GPS and the nine speaker Bose system instead of ten which means you'll lose the subwoofer now, in my opinion the best bang . for your money it will probably be the 2 LZ because you can really get the 2 LZ and then add things like GPS or PDR or whatever you want to add so you know a small step up from a regular to LZ.

Unless of course you want the nappa interior, which then will leave you no choice but to buy the 3LZ. I now have all three LZs and honestly this car has about 6,800 miles on it now and always does. I get into this car, it still smells like a new car with nappa leather. Not only is this car incredibly pretty, it holds up well and smells amazing, like I normally couldn't tolerate the smell of a new car. car, it literally makes me nauseous, but this car, with the way the nappa leather smells, is just amazing, there's nothing like the smell of a new Corvette, but anyway guys, we'll finish it for the video today, like I said.
