Dallas Cowboys vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Week 10, 2016 FULL GameMay 04, 2020
about your business, he emphasized. I've been doing this for 13 years. I know how to face the second half of the season. Look at me, follow me the weather is fantastic on november 13th, we are gearing up for a great
gamefor each side for the
cowboystrying to stretch their eight
gamewinning streak and for the
steelerstrying to snap a three losing streak thank you so glad. They're with us today on Fox as Whitehead will take a knee on the Dallas Cowboys' opening drive and Dak Prescott will start at the 25-yard line and all eyes are on number four as they have been since the season started with the injury. . to Tony Romo Troy with Romo knocking on the door to return and active not active for this game Dak Prescott has been sensational yeah he's probably coming off his best game of the season last
weekin a win over the Cleveland Browns who was in on the heels of his most shaky performance to date against the Philadelphia Eagles so this team is playing with a lot of confidence right now led by rookie quarterback it will be Elliott who leads the NFL with his 891 yards pick up six Robert Golden in the stop and look where the Cowboys are offensive and they realize if it was DeMarco Murray a couple of years ago now it's Ezekiel Elliott this great offensive line opening up huge holes for the Dallas running game that's where it all starts and that was a great start for this first down offense carry by Ezekiel Elliott thanks Prescott to the sideline pass is caught by Dez Bryant and Bryant out of bounds it's right in midfield a 19 yard completion to number 88. well there's always a clean pocket for Dak Prescott you see he has no one really in his face and he has a one on one on the outside after the good streak to start this game and just one perfectly thrown ball good rear shoulder adjustment Dez Bryant gets put into Vault in this early Come A shape of play action Prescott stays alive balls recovered by Pittsburgh KO'd by chicolo and Steelers take him early Shazier with a recovery well they're trying to bring in Jason Witten to block Shazier and he just can't get there but give credit to Dak Prescott he's able to prevent that but then he doesn't feel the chickalo pressure on his ass and great effort from the Steelers and chickalo in particular making a play with the ball Steelers get a tank away Pittsburgh comes into this game tied for 18th now it's they're even enough for the year in that turnover battle Shazier gets the recovery and now good starting field position for Big Ben over center pass catches that's tight end Jesse James good for eight they have Jesse James who just to make his 25th catch and welcome number 89, Ladarius Green, who is active for the first time as a thief.
The former Charger and his great free agent addition to this offense will see him at some point today. and third fumble loss to Dak Prescott wondering if it will drive Steeler points first down Pittsburgh to pot 26 Ben Roethlisberger is a two-time Super Bowl champion injured his knee against Miami missed the New England game in the last two starts he has It hasn't been good for number seven Delaney Lewis Le'Veon Bell on a sack run with a first down inside 15. We have a new audience that just joined us and after a 19-yard completion, Dak Prescott kept the Play Alive. he avoided the sack there but he couldn't avoid the turnover it's chickalo knocked him out and Shazier rallied and this is the first possession for the Steelers inside the Red Zone Bell cuts down the field and works his way around the seven good job on the Along that offensive line Right guard David de Castro he throws around wide receivers on the outside blocking the corners and created a great Lane then for Le'Veon Bell plays here for this Pittsburgh offense really struggled last
weekand that loss to Baltimore Ra When you look at the last three games, his points per game, third down yardage percentage has been bad, he fell to the top of the screen, the pass was caught and immediately Wilcox makes the tackle on David Johnson, it depends of the place if it is a first attempt or not. and have declared it a first down and a goal for Pittsburgh and Mike Tomlin, who is now in his 10th season stomping the sidelines for Pittsburgh, a good overall and deadly record at home, as is Ben Roethlisberger 8-1 since the start of last year Bell right side Wilcox again gained a yard and a half and we'll see what the Steelers can do in here inside the five yard line now second and goal but hey I like the job the offensive coordinator has done Todd Haley mixing things up go to the empty set give Le'Veon Bell a good play and one thing you don't care as much about as you do with Dak Prescott when Ben Roethlisberger goes to the empty cell you're not anticipating the quarterback draw second d and goal and attention to Le'Veon Bell who opened wide left on the bottom pass for Bell a lot of contact without a flag and it's third and goal Brandon Carr in coverage yes a lot of contact from Brandon Carr on Le' see Bell and these are some of the things that Bell is capable of and he might have ruled that as Ball uncatchable, but Le'Veon Bell, as good a running back, brings a dimension into the passing game as he already has here.
Early on in this game this defense has to worry he gets split again they like him to run some of the routes he can do as a wide receiver he's at the top of the screen with wilcox safety facing the. Foreign touchdown pass. run the slant and continue with the previous play this time they run the slant and know they have a match up with JJ Wilcox the safety who is in the lineup due to Barry Church's injury one on one and that's a nice catch running back a high ball and awa and yet he's able to carry it that shows some of the skills he has as a receiver well the Steelers are going to go for two Mike Tomlin he likes to go for two this group that He has Ladarius Green in front and the offensive formation for the first time the next one for him incomplete and there are six nothing Byron Jones in coverage and that body of 6-6 240 pounds could not get up and take him down well Darius green they raised him as you said a few moments ago and this is where they thought they might use him was here in the red zone he's a great target see if he can make a play this is what set it all up prescott didn't feel the chickalo pressure and the
cowboysturn around and give the
steelershave a short field and they take advantage of it was an eight-play drive after Le'Veon Bell's five-touch loss and it was Bell who got his first touchdown reception of the year showing off the good hands when he's healthy in the first place. he's missed a bunch of games two suspension He's got a knee injury, so he's missed a lot of time, but when he's healthy, they can break him up like the Rams used to do with Marshall Faulk, like the Bills used to do with Thurman Thomas.
I mean, it's a rare ability. establishing what he brings to this offense for Pittsburgh, yes, and he has the same skills that Ezekiel Elliott has for the Cowboys, only he's shown it over a longer period of time and you know they're three backs and they can catch the ball. The Cowboys haven't used Elliott's skills like the Steelers have up to this point with Bell, but he's a dynamic player and can run all routes from that wide receiver position and was terribly featured on that opening possession by the Steelers is their first touchdown since October 12 of last year and the kickoff goes out of bounds that's not a great start for the out of bounds free kick kicking team number nine they had a rough outing last week in the Special Teams and with the touchdown and then kicking one out of bounds which is no good for this defense has to face this offense now starting at the 40 yard line Stanley Smith and look at these two quarterbacks it's Dak Prescott comparing his first eight games with what Ben Roethlisberger did in 2004.
And that wasn't just a good individual start for Ben Roethlisberger, he led his team to a Super Bowl game as a rookie, here's Elliott giving those legs driving and Ezekiel Elliott gets three chickalo at the stop and this is what you were talking about. with the special teams last week was brutal. a second kickoff and seven Elliott again on the right side will bounce him and Ezekiel Elliott that's the beauty of what he can do he's a 225 pound bat that can get to the edge and he's got a first down well Robert Golden he shows up and what happens is Ezekiel Elliott is so quick to get to the edge that you think you've got the angle on him and you've got him boxed in where he has to take it inside and I think he surprised his defense like you see him every single week that the angles they take allow Elliot to get to the edge because they don't anticipate it with the speed he has, Prescott play action to the sideline, has Brian his second catch and another first down that people are talking about. the combination of Dak and Dez week one catches eight yards week two seven catches for 102. got hurt week three missed three games one 100 yard game including the game-tying touchdown at home against Philly and then last week one catch for 19 yards he has two in this game look this is just line them up and see if you can stop him so far teams in
2016can't get it right and I give some credit to Scott Lenahan for the way he designed this game of run that time running lucky Whitehead they will sometimes give you t The ball in that Jet Sweep helps keep the defense from collapsing.
Then at Ezekiel Elliott, they'll also bootleg Prescott to keep those honest guys on the outside to defend the entire field. number 65 5 yard penalty so on second down they also got movement from the guard right next to Tyron yeah Ronald Leary and he was a big ask well he left last week's game with a concussion there was some uncertainty as to whether or not he would be. available of course he had been a starter then he gave his job over to Lyle Collins who got hurt he got a chance to play again and I honestly think this offensive line got better when he got back in the lineup and the way they've been able to run the ball come on Doug Wii U h second to nine they turn it over and there's Elliott about a yard and a half short of a first down as Sean Davis the rookie safety Maryland's second round pick was on the stop well we talked to Mike Tomlin the other day and the first thing he said is we need to stay in our spaces, that they can't create running lanes for Ezekiel Elliott between tackles and that time they didn't stay in their spaces there was a big hole all the way through. that left side right behind Ronald Leary Elliott at the top of the screen and now he's moving into the backfield Troy you had it with Emmett Smith but even more so for a rookie quarterback like Da k Prescott to be able to just turn around and hand it off to fellow rookie Elliott what a gift for a young man establishing himself at this level well there's no question the running game is a rookie quarterback's best friend and you He mentioned that the work that Ben Roethlisberger did when he was a rookie also had that in the time with Jerome Bettis and that's why he was able to have some of the success that he had back and Dez is not on the same page second and ten I think the element that Prescott gives you you know there's a discussion about well they don't have There are as many big plays in the passing game with Prescott as they had with Romo and yes that's true but he presents an element as a running back that really forces the defense to be honest and you can't overload too much because he will keep the ball and run around the edges and he has done it all season for some big foreign games now third and ten as the Cowboys are in den Out of field goal range for Bayley they have loftier ambitions than settling for three well worked outside for Jason Whitton and he had a chance and coverage.
I'm a little surprised that Prescott hasn't worked his way because he sees that he's one on one inside Lawrence Timmons and Cole Beasley. I don't know if anyone has been able to cover it this year. Dunbar out of the backfield on the move is caught by Williams and Williams inside the 20 before a first down when he gets five and the field goal drive goes in for the Cowboys for those of you who just joined us we already lost Dak Prescott with a forced fumbl by the chickalo linebacker recovered by Shazier and the Steelers fell and scored a touchdown on the shot to Le'Veon Bell it was for two they didn't get it The Cowboys just drove downfield and will try a 37-yard pass to reduce the lead half and Bailey no one better in the NFL it's a 6-3 game in this interconference battle Cowboys Steelers on Fox today's game is sponsored by Southwest yeah still open with nothing to hide that's straight foreign transparency his longest streak since a seven game winning streak in 2007. the last time they won eight in one season was in 1977. when they won super bowl super bowl 12. the dorsett isthe game 6-3 and we look back the Strip by chickalo the touchdown to Le'Veon Bell after a Bailey field goal it's a three point game in Pittsburgh the game is sponsored by Bud Light make the right choice drink responsibly in 50 day in Pittsburgh as the Steelers have him for the second time fast throw Brown worst amount a gain of five see antonio b Rown and has led the league in receptions each of the last two seasons, several thousand-yard seasons and when he came in he started moving him around a lot of different positions and I know Todd Haley feels like the defenses have caught up with him and at least learned to defend him from every position that he lines up last week just two catches to three quarters he finished with seven but try to involve him as much as possible especially early on in these games this is against Dallas this is a free play and a big one for Rogers Skandrick found himself too early or, they threw down the flag and Big Ben had a free one. plays and found Rogers well, they push Skandrick off the edge so to cover Eli Rogers they have to get Byron Jones over the top at least if he gets out of positions first by Roethlisberger who gets hit in the hand while following up. on that one, but because Scandrick and Byron Jones have to work too hard to cover Eli Rogers, who runs a terrific route from that slots position, they really like that young player and they make a nice profit and we'll keep an eye out. e on how Roethlisberger feels slapping his hand after letting the pass rattle before the next play after a 22-yard pass to Eli Rogers coming off his first 100-yard game.
Tight end James at the 31-yard line. 17 yards fumbled by Hitchens come on Roethlisberger felt like some of the stuff in the middle of the field was where they could take advantage of this Cowboys defense and Jesse James, a young guy they have a lot of confidence in, he's finding his but he makes a good play on the ball scrambled to the ground by Demarcus Lawrence I think a good thing for the Steelers Joe is you know all week they say someone has to make a play besides Antonio Brown in the passing game and you know we've seen a couple guys now make that another free play and the incomplete end zone shot Kobe Hamilton the target but Ben lured the Cowboys offside well you knew with a veteran quarterback as soon as he knew he had the yellow one. flag that was going g to make a shot, had a free play and Defense number 75 in the neutral is going to concede a five-yard penalty, the second down will be repeated against the young defensive lineman Ryan Davis, it will make the second and four minutes, Little Louisa, second and four. bell first down and more at nine maybe in Bell they'll see it here in the patience he shows before cutting it he gets into the hole it's not there then he sees it right behind the Castro and takes it and shows his explosion and speed, this guy is a great player and not only is he strictly a downhill guy he's physical enough to be able to get to the edges but man once he sees a hole he's as fast as anyone in the league and he's getting through it, 16-yard run first and hesitation of goal, picking his way to the one and there was nothing there at the start of that play, that's All Le'Veon Bell, a lot of patience and a lot of quickness, and it's a bit like Barry Sanders. there and they go in a hurry no crowding here on second down Jones and he brings third down and goal so great play as Bell was covered by young safety Byron Jones loss of two staggering two low passes from Roethlisberger caught for the touchdown Eli Rogers and let's make sure of this the ball didn't get caught ok it's close it doesn't look like a touch but it looked like he was in control too?
This isn't a great pitch from Roethlisberger, but Jeff Heath, who is driving it from the inside out. I think he's the one. who maybe scared Ben and he didn't want to lead him and make an easier catch for him, but Eli Rogers will be the closest these umpires decide by looking at him. Couldn't tell the ball actually moved much if at all when it hit the ground last look it looked like the ball moved just a little I'm with you on first look it looked like a good catch but remember it was a 3rd and goal and they have confirmed the score and again the Steelers are going to go for two.
They went for two the first time, now the graph would tell you to go for two, but the fourth time the first time. I agree with this one too. Target and Antonio Brown was the early look it's a 12-3 game of the week USA game here in Pittsburgh sponsored by Nissan Innovation that excites Verizon join a better network because the best matters and Burger King now he gets three big pancakes for just 89 Cents Only at Burger King Well, Ben Roethlisberger started red hot eight-for-nine, two touchdowns were four-for-four on that last drive and completed a pass to Eli Rogers for the score.
It's a nine point game and the Dallas and Dak series will start on the 25th down 12-3 a little Ben and now the fans at Three Rivers the fans at Heinz Field and nine down starting on the 25th here's Dallas and Tyron Smith starts 77th ball offense five yard penalty still first and that's two false starts against the Cowboys already yeah kind of shaky coming in here on the road and hostile environment with this Pittsburgh crowd and this is not a defense that want to start first and 15. that's the fourth pre-snap penalty called Dallas two offensive, two defensive first and 15. 94.
Monday, who's the mic? -yard feather advantage so first and it's against Zach Martin well it looked initially like Zach Martin did a great job there at right guard position and Brian Shazier comes on the run and it looked like he picked it up clean and there went what right enough, right enough there. I didn't really see as much grip as Shazier trying to get off the block and make a play, but the Steelers are charging up for the run. the outside on those first Downs, of course, right now with First of 25. The Steelers are going to play a coverage pass under Beasley and that's the first.
They make up a bit of yardage as we close with half a minute left in the first quarter and Artie burns out the rookie first round. Miami's pick is making his second NFL start after his first interception in Baltimore and that will stop the clock with 33 seconds left in the first quarter due to injury for the rookie and will see burns on the sideline as the Cowboys they have 2nd and 18. a screen for Elliott with a huge Play Elliott blocking territory on the sideline and for the no flags touchdown 83 yards for the rookie combination of Prescott 2 Elliott well they run that Jet Sweep look again with the Whitehead luck around the left end and then they come from that, with the Ezekiel Elliott screen, you can see these offensive linemen as big and massive as how well they handle Travis Frederick, he's up front, the kick in the edge and then once Ezekie l Elliott comes out in the corner he just doesn't get it this guy this guy is a great speedster big play second and 18 giving up not only first down but six points ex track star as high scorer and he showed his speed as a 225 hit back and that's the first touchdown reception for number 21 and the Cowboys have their all season game at 83 yards well I mean you spoke of that before as far as a running game for a rookie quarterback, I mean, how about when you come out backed? up second and 18 and you can throw a screen pass to Ezekiel Elliott and he goes the distance you mentioned a moment ago and I'll say it again Scott Linehan is one of the most overlooked assistant coaches in the entire NFL Linehan did such a great job with Romo a couple of years ago and now he's shaping these two rookies into what they've become, there's Scott with Prescott at quarterback and obviously Elliott and running back and he's been creative, everyone in the world knows Ellie.va to get the ball, but they still have to find an answer for when 21 gets his hands on it.
I put some things that he was comfortable doing there at Mississippi State, some of the Run games, some of the read options, some of the spread sets, they combined it with their own Run game and obviously it's been very effective. , has been a coordinator in Minnesota head coach in St. Louis coordinator in Detroit and now in charge of the offense in Dallas there were seven seconds left in the first quarter in what has been bumpy we will tell you that tomorrow night National Geographic will invites you to go to Mars join Mankind's Greatest Adventure and find out how we made Mars our home.
The new Mars series premieres tomorrow night only on National Geographic for an 83-yard touchdown pass in the stats of the day for Dak Prescott. I saw the eyes of Sean Lee who grew up about 20 minutes away playing this field while in high school the fastball is out past the complete savior Grimble with three seconds remaining didn't secure the incomplete catch yes this is one of those things these officers are looking at when it's bang Bang like that they're going to rule it incomplete good call there Burger we've seen him disperse these cowboys or fight back and they're shorthand with some injuries on Mo Claiborne and then, of course Barry Church and trying to take advantage of some of those matchups and they've been able to do that here in this first half foreigners somehow fight The Ball away from Brandon Carr will be third when we come back for the Steelers on the road how will the kids be little ones?
Dak and Elliott respond well they have done it now a two point game What A Catch by Brown to the second quarter we go we started the second quarter third down and a turkey threw a running bell well played by Dallas throws a d out of bounds where will stay with Pittsburgh but it's Fourth Down the first guy there was Skandrick it was a great play by Orlando Scandrick on Third and playing short through the blocker there it is right here feels like a little fumble that didn't recover sooner to go out of bounds , so it's Pittsburgh's ball at the out of bounds spot, he brings up fourth down, okay, he comes right under you, hits the first dunk in baseball, goes right under Jesse James and does one play and surprises the Cowboys. almost gave the ball to their offense with a short field golden opportunity there by Byron Jones just unable to secure it great play by Scandal not a good punt grabs a lucky rebound Whitehead on the return makes a man miss and then carries it at 40. let's go back to that second Antonio Brown down catch and watch the ending first of all great catch as he was holding on he went down awkwardly they took off his face mask that wasn't called and then Brown was having his side check out to the guy who was with the camera. e in this game with at least 75 more receptions than anyone else in the NFL for the last three and a half years Brandon Carr got away with that face mask I remember a time when a hundred receptions in a season was a lot of receptions and just last year and tony o'brien had 136. in phoenix first in
dallasin the 40. when alfred morris comes in and gets it and the former pro bowl running back with washington takes it for two and
pittsburghinjuries to talk to aaron come on talk about first cornerback artie burns who tried on several knee pads and still trying to run and loosen up that knee also shimarco thomas strong safety has been bound to buy the training staff and also guys heyward camera was on margin for a while.
After they checked his shoulder, he kept telling the training staff that he's okay, he's okay, and he ran off, we need him. Prescott is protected and here is Bryant's flag on the play and Bryant with a catch at 42. Willi am Gay is trying to point out that the penalties on Dez Bryant there was a little bit of contact, it was hard to say exactly a good route from Dez Bryant starts to the post, comes back out, I think they're going to catch Dez with that right arm extended before illegal pass contact. Defense number 22. Penalty gain decrease in yardage is enough for a first down. on that and see what exactly happened I saw the right arm come out for Dez Bryant at the top of that route I know last week and really throughout the season when Brian has played he felt like he hadn't gotten a lot of the calls that he deserves i don't know if he got away with it or not flags on the play when alfred morris takes it to the 40. this passed the penalty along the line of scrimmage just before the snap and it's against
pittsburghoffside number 92 in the neutral zone with th We throw the five-yard penalty still first and that's Cam Hayward, who missed a couple of games with a hamstring problem.
Let's go back to that Dez Bryant catch. Let's take another look at the top of the screen and that's fine. I don't know, I didn't see much of William Gay there. I think Dez Bryant got away with a push from his own first down and five and Morris will pick up a pair down the left side. Theflag down at the end. Holy. 68th offense 10-yard penalty we play first and they get Doug Free to make right tackle with a grab keep running Jeff Swaim, the backup tight end, came off that last play with his shoulders slung crouch free right tackle and Joe, yeah, I'd say it's beyond a hole four penalties now on the Cowboys' offensive line.
Prescott below Warren. Jarvis Jones immediately made a game of six. One of the few times you see Prescott take pressure to the face. I think you know one of the things that's been really good for him besides saving Ezekiel Elliott is that the offensive line has really protected him in the middle and not given up a lot of pressure and allowed him to throw a pretty clean look, so that Dak and Elliott got Ezekiel Elliott with the longest touchdown reception by a Cowboys running back since the great Herschel Walker, former teammate of Troy Aikman, here's Alfred Morris Jones on third down. as Morris picks up six well, what a luxury the Cowboys have when they can bring their backup running back and a guy with the credentials of Alfred Morris, who of course was a rookie starter when he was drafted by the Washington Redskins and last week they were able to use him a little more in the way they won against Cleveland he had the most work he's had all season this could be on the verge of down two territory for Dallas Who's down two three Beasley didn't drop any flag passes and now it's a long field goal attempt and that's Jason Garrett's immediate call or go for it on 4th and three and Bailey will come in and attempt the field goal which will be a 53 yard attempt well within Dan Bailey's range and the missed opportunity of Cole Beasley, who had the opportunity that he's really just trying to avoid the tackler and take the first down, but he didn't secure the catch first this for the leading man he is well now 24 of 32 for Dan Bailey 50 and beyond as the Cowboys have their first lead of the night tonight's game is sponsored by Chevrolet more
2016JD Power Reliability Awards than any other brand by Papa John's the Official Sponsor of Pizza by the NFL and by Microsoft Surface the official tablet of the NFL two organizations that have met three times in the past Super Bowl 10, 13 and Super Bowl 30.
The Steelers won the first two of their four in the 1970s and Super Bowl 30 went the way of Cowboys Larry Brown, the Most Valuable Player with his two interceptions and without dropping a point, the Steelers, who have already sought a two-point conversion twice, they'll start in their 25s. It's really something Mike Tomlin did more of last year. The Steelers led the NF. L with eight successful two-point conversions and 11 attempts, both numbers were NFL-highs, all 11 were passes, by the way, last year, only two of two this year, but obviously wanting to make a statement here early, Tomlin told him. did, yes, when they moved. back the extra point tries point after that he told us early in the season he was going to go too often he did it a year ago not so much this year it hadn't worked for him in this game for two here's brown the knee went down it looks like inches shy of a first down for Antonio, that's just another way to get there, get the ball into the hands of Antonio Brown and you know his version of the wide receiver screen, terribly good son of a player who gets a lot of attention wherever he is by Brown for the first down.
It wasn't until last week, when Jason Garrett meets Antonio Brown, that the Steelers really kicked it offensively, so they went to that no rush in that loss against the Baltimore Ravens. start of knee surgery and you know they pretty much won't get together here it's more of a controlled version but i really thought we'd talk see more of the rush up hey alert alert early in this game because of the success they had last week it's a first try ya who gets 11. really amazing when you see him run there are guys trying to run that style but it's hard I mentioned Barry Sanders before you know the jump cut there and usually when you start to choke him down in the hole you They catch and it's hard to pick up yardage, but he's so explosive and quick that he can do that, show great patience, and still pick up big. games offensive coordinator Todd Haley calls him a picker he gets up to that line he picks where he wants to go it's been awesome he shows Ben the ball goes out and that's Ben Roethlisberger taking a hit and a flag goes in yeah , Cedric Thornton leads the hit in Roethlisberger. that's when they dropped the flag let's see who gets the penalty and ben's got his back ain't nobody tougher in the NFL number seven intentional browning on the play because the quarterback was out of the pocket we got a personal foul for passer roughing Defense number 56 an automatic 15 yard first down penalty you get Justin Durant it was Thornton from the back which was a clean hit and then linebacker Durant's arm came up and hit Roethlisberger on the helmet right there yeah no I make.
I don't know if I agree with that call, you know he's out of the pocket and he's been a running back, but I think you'd have to be in a quarterback position, a passing position and then bring out quarterback protection, but that is a costly penalty. on the Cowboys Pereira joins us from LA Mike, what did you see back there on that call? I think you have to have grounded the passer there because even though you might be trying to bring the ball down, you're going to get a hit. to the forearm helmet which the rule says if the quarterback is defenseless when it comes to head punches and gets a straight shoulder to the face mask i think its a foul that should be called its the hard piece for any defense facing Ben Roethlisberger so hard to take down, kept Play Alive twice the 15 yard penalty is added at the end when Landry Jones takes over for just one play and Roethlisberger will return and you hear the reaction they had to look at Roethlisberger and so you had to come out good and you said a moment ago Joe is as tough as there is and when he came back he showed it long before this year too but when he came back 20 days after he had knee surgery last week I mean he showed them everyone that if there's any chance he could play he will and no one is surprised no one is surprised he's coming back now we're going second and ten and it looked like someone on the line jones offense false start offense number 56. five yard penalty still second aaron andrews did you spend time with ben before the game this weekend what did you learn from number seven yes they made the decision decision i had no idea what to expect from his knee said you know practicing is one thing but then when you're in real life and you get hit trying to fight he said it didn't feel great when he was running but he said adrenaline is a beautiful thing guys yeah he is doing his typical act. he doesn't go down easy he slides, breaks, tackles and looks downfield and now the Steelers are going to get the five yard invasion back.
Defense number 97 is a five-yard penalty, still on second down. I'm Terrell McLean. I've been able to work the snap count and the Cowboys now multiple times and it was interesting, you know, from Aaron's report there, Roethlisberger has only scrambled or only kept the ball seven times this year and surprise. Only three of those races came last week after his return from knee surgery. The lady throws a quick pass to Brown. A quick tackle by young cornerback Anthony Brown and the rookie not playing as a sixth-round pick out of Purdue makes the stoppage after one game. of one, yeah, that's what you have to do as well when you see that screen on the wide receiver, you have to drive over it before he can catch the ball and have some space between you and Anthony Brown.
He's had a great rookie year. The guy drafted like you said in the sixth round wasn't expected to play as much as he has, but Orlando Scandrick was coming off knee surgery, had some hamstring issues that were lost at some point, and Anthony Brown got into the game. pretty much on third down and nine Cowboys back. out of the Blitz and Roethlisberger finds his man's favorite target Antonio Brown for a first down on the 25. well Antonio Brown they are playing man coverage with a safety assist so there will be a follow up technique on the corner but S.M t with Roethlisberger able to buy time moving up in the pocket Anthony Brown was in coverage and just a good move after the veteran wide receiver creating some separation thanks is the Dallas defense dealing with Antonio Brown the six for six the goals and the catches without Barry Church out with a broken forearm without Morris Claiborne with the groin injury pass through incomplete half and that's the new tight end with Darius green condo half Ladarius Green now a couple times here they tried to pass him the ball on the two-point conversion and that's where they wanted to use it because of its size, it's a great target and they felt maybe it could work on the middle and I think the ball caught him by surprise, it was on him in a hurry Haley said it's been impressive how updated the offensive green is after coming off the physically unable to perform list with an ankle injury from a ankle surgery.
Get in right here bell is well played and that's sean lee the linebacker who grew up a diehard steeler fan is not my leader and number 50 dallas cowboys was a young man who lived and died with the steelers fortune there a thriller I know had a Jerome Bettis jersey during his high school years when he was a number six running back Bobby brister didn't say anything about having the brister jersey that's him now top seat Claire lost at this field to Central Catholic in 0-3 here's tight end Wilcox makes the hit when Xavier Grimble gets five and that'll bring up a fourth down well that's a good stop from this Cowboys defense they gave up a few yards and now they're going to give up give up a try field goal, but it's been a defense that's really been a Bend but they don't break down, they don't allow a lot of big plays and they were forced there with a third and long and they make a key stop.
David Johnson came on late in the 39-yard try formation for foreign Chris Boswell to put the Steelers up. get back up good first half and at times another painful half of football for the number seven that has its Steelers up there is also drive 10 plays 54 yards and almost six and a half minutes off the clock and that is one of the keys to trying to beat the dallas cowboys keep the ball keep that that guys offend off the field for two, the drive will start at the 25. Mr. good, David Irving was so close to that Boswell try it was good that the Steelers are up too Today's game on Fox is sponsored by Lowe's has been a little while since we saw Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott last time, we saw it an 83-yard touchdown run when Elliott was on the field on a Morris drive and now a catch and slide down Cole Beasley akina Bay, well check this out. first half and what has unfolded in the Pittsburgh Steelers are controlling time of possession, some of it has to do of course with the Cowboys turnover, but this is an offense that leads the league in time of possession possession for 33 minutes so like you said steelers offensively being able to drive the ball yeah they stopped them and had to settle for the field goal but they have kept this offense for the Cowboys on the sidelines and allowed their own defense to rest .
Elliott lowers his head and runs. against a wall for no gain Tuesday night college basketball action returns to FS1 with a Big Ten biggie showdown at the start of the gavit game and Maryland faces Georgetown and Nigel Hayes in Wisconsin clashes with Maurice Watson Jr and Creighton the excitement begins Tuesday 6 30 East in that Fest a third and two diamonds down field for Bryant incomplete and in Third and two Dak Prescott went for a big part and couldn't connect yes the Steelers ran five and they are one on one in everything the road and so they have Dez Bryant, who's in the position, and they have an opportunity to give him some good overall coverage by William Gay and they're trying to throw him over that back shoulder and he just goes too far out of it.
I a He also had a chance if he decided to call it quits and you have a chance to home run first cowboy three and here's a beautiful punt that takes Brown out of bounds, they're going to tag him at the 18-yard line. 49 punt yards Steelers of no return have it and a two point lead that's a super crystal clear moon in the sky they play here in Pittsburgh America's game of the week and a good two point game low game and there's a reason for the game under this bell is off limits we haven't talked about Marquis Pouncey and his recovery skills a dislocated right thumb had surgery earlier in the week and in hisRight hand has stitches and he's still back days later to take on Dallas pretty awesome right there in a quick hand and he told Todd Haley earlier in the week that you know you can count on me being ready and it's pretty awesome.
I mean he's the real deal and he's a great player and a great leader for this offense. passes caught Rogers first down cover ed by skandrick Pittsburgh Steelers oh nice route from Eli Rogers when he puts the move in and takes the snap and Scandrick can make the tackle after the catch but outside of Antonio Brown Eli Rogers is really the only wide receiver he's made a dent here in this ball game but he's made a couple of good plays he had a broken foot last year he was on IR they like someone to take a little of the load off Antonio Brown here's Bell out of the backfield plenty of room and a first down to Le'Veon Bell and we're at the two minute warning Steelers with a first down and on the go as they lead by two follow your favorite all season your favorite team just go to itunes.com NFL Steelers come to the line with a first down two Minutes remaining and a two-point game fell in the slot like a weapon when you're able to stretch out the defensive Cowboys you know by helping Antonio Brown hit the ball. some of those coverage looks and being able to work Le'Veon Bell and now eli rogers in the middle dunk good hups for the Steelers for Brown until the 40th. a very good job by Antonio Brown just acknowledging The Zone and giving his quarterback a good place to go with the ball, he just puts it right in the hole and Roethlisberger puts it right in it. for Sammy coats no flag Anthony Brown was down there defending well the coach takes the inside pitch and then Roethlisberger trying to get it out there's the hand on the shoulder was enough right arm contact I think the Cowboys and Anthony Brown got away with one and Roethlisberger would agree Leon McFadden comes in for Dallas Bell in the slot again second and ten a little punk thing and this one almost gets picked up by Brandon Carr I don't think Antonio Brown expected Roethlisberger to throw it because Brandon Carr was up he never bit on the move and I was on his fielding shoulder and when Brown came off the ball you see Ben acknowledge that Brown wasn't going
fullspeed, he thought maybe he would have a chance and I caught Carr but it's the miscommunication between Brown and Roethlisberger the first time it happened.
Roethlisberger targeted Antonio Brown eight times seven catches 3rd and 10. Stick with it, yeah, four men Rush no rocks Burger's protection breaks Caught pass Bell has a long way to go and he's not going forward, that'll bring up the fourth try, this is and we'll have a timeout now taken by Dallas, the first with 52 seconds left, well there was plenty of time at least to get the ball out for Roethlisberger, but there just wasn't anywhere. to go with the ball and as I held it you know the Cowboys can finally get home so the Cowboys haven't had a sack yet in this game but at various times they've gotten a little bit of pressure but mostly part Roethlisberger has had time but he gives some credit to that secondary defense making a stop at 3rd and long now Cole Beasley is back for Dallas which is 4th down and Jordan Barry comes out to punt and over the deep end and dragged in the 1 6 by Beasley There are 45 seconds left in the Half Dallas opener.
A chance to make some noise with two timeouts, but all my life I've grown up and I'm fascinated by the military, whether it's Jets, tanks, infantry units. It has always intrigued me. I have been honoring, admiring and thinking about service members for what they do Alejandro Villanueva, 28, has served his country three tours of duty in Afghanistan graduated from the US Military Academy at West Point a army captain served as an army ranger and received the Bronze Star for Valor for rescuing wounded soldiers while under enemy fire starting at left tackle for Ben Roethlisberger and on this Veterans Day weekend a tip of the cap and a heartfelt thank you to the likes of Alejandro Villanueva and those in the military for what to do every day while Prescott is protected the pass is dropped knocked out incomplete Beasley couldn't make the grab and William gay took it out of his hands that it's a couple of times now that Be Asley has had a few chances and just couldn't keep control of the ball.
William Gay, of course, makes a good play here, but I think right now we're seeing what the Cowboys think of Dak Prescott and the development of him here in his rookie year. he's been backed up at the 16 yard line against the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road and no they're good they have twice most coaches with a young guy like this he would play a little more conservatively come out and throw him on first down Whitton hasn't yet a Prescott catch to his right and this is behind Dunbar now it's third and ten that's third and ten and now we'll see what Jason Garrett and Scott Linehan decide to do and the Pittsburgh Steelers have three timeouts.
They will have a chance to win the ball back, they make a key save here and have time left on the clock to come out with some foreign points to shoot it. Punting is fine, sometimes you have a youth mentality in the third ten. you want to try to drive the ball 10 yards to pick up first keep going and it's a defense like this you better watch out Blitz from the edge Prescott steps forward and it's broken Beasley with Cockrell a right hand to deflect that pass fourth down oh that's a good save for the Cowboys to come out three straight passes the clock is ticking down nice play by Cockrell I see what Prescott saw Prescott sees Cockrell carrying the receiver out of the field he comes out of makes a great play on the ball and we'll see if the Steelers are able to take advantage of the round waiting for the punt of Jones well hanging high Punt and Brown with a fair reception they will mark it at 36 and this is what comes at halftime Kurt comes up at halftime Visa, the Minnesota Vikings disappoint with their fourth straight loss, the Eagles defense dominates as they get past the Falcons and Tennessee surprises Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, we've got it all that and more, so we'll see. you come back here with Lisa at halftime we look forward to that now with 20 seconds remaining three timeouts we'll see how the Steelers want to play start with Roethlisberger on the shotgun yeah I know how they're going to play Roethlisberger 20 seconds say you know that in three timeouts long looking to throw fast instead find Bell room to run and out of bounds with a first down and the Steelers are back in business at their own 49 yard line.
Nice heads up job there by Le'Veon Bell, once he catches the ball, he's capable of making someone miss, he hits, you know, getting as much as he can and then going out of bounds not necessarily because of timeouts, but he didn't want to be running dancing . turn around and burn too much time off that clock Catch and run from 13 yards, hurry up, yeah, it's your money, yeah? Delaney is hot right before first down and took a timeout. left some of the early games in the half h headlines and headliners Mariota and DeMarco Murray just tore the Green Bay Packers apart the eagles with a big win over the Atlanta Falcons and the Chiefs in an upset over Carolina could you see the aspects highlights that the Chiefs have won five straight as they get the primary quarterback back Smith and now second down and one eight seconds this has to be kind of quick yeah it has to get out quick they can work the middle of the field, but Roethlisberger can't hold the ball for long and if someone catches it and they have space to run they should know that they only have eight seconds they're going to have to drop to the ground and call timeout passes and now the ball comes out the flag is thrown Eli Rogers with the catch the ball came out when it came down and there's a lot to see here skandrick in coverage two seconds to go they're calling it a catch here's the call before the p ase holding defense number 32 the declined yards gained by kelly is enough for a first well let's look now let's see to me he goes to the ground as part of the catch and it's a big deal because if this is called incomplete it's just a five yard penalty ok that should be an incompletion there are lots and lots of cowboy fans watching this knowing what happened a couple of years ago in green bay theres the penalty on hold at skandrick but with two seconds left now if this is just a five yard penalty instead of a
fullpass game 23 yards as it is then it would turn into about a 55 yard field goal for Boswell, but it's airborne, it goes down and goes to the ground ball, the ball comes out shouldn't take long.
If this then goes back to a five-yard penalty, you're looking at a 50+ yard field goal tribe and you realize Dan Bailey's 53-yard field goal early in the half is the longest field goal made in the history of this stadium in an NFL game so Boswell w ill, if this is overturned and we believe the catch will be overturned we will have a field goal attempt in more than 50 yards to try and add it as a two point lead this is a notoriously difficult stadium to kick field goals in with the wind rips coming through here and we await the call from Clete blakeman and here comes the call from Clete blakeman and they will have to figure out where the ball is going and that might be why this review takes as long as it has to review the play the receiver goes to the ground in the process of catching the ball lost control it is an incomplete pass though during The play prior to the pass they had a hold on defense number 32. that will be penalized five yards at the previous spot with an automatic first down but there are only two seconds left in Boswell now he will have a long field goal attempt which at this point is a two point game will be a 55 yard attempt that would be a long run for Boswell and the longest in an NFL game in stadium history is this season good snap good grip field goal not good had the long but wide to the right and its a two point game in usa game of the week and a good half of football Steelers and Cowboys good matchup to come Should be a fun second half.
Kurt Menefee takes it in La Visa. Halftime is coming up right now. Today's excitement brought to you by the new Nissan Titan. turnover of that first half and I really don't know Troy how to characterize the first half I mean it's close it's a two point game a lot of penalties and really barring a couple of big plays especially the big one by Ezekiel Elliott not true Highlights in that first half no, you know, like you said off of Ezekiel Elliott's screen pass for the 83-yard touchdown, you know there aren't a lot of big plays. t in some third shorts so they haven't been able to play their game that they've been playing all season and the Steelers have been able to put up some yards and do some things that we haven't seen from them in the last couple of weeks but, by Of course, Tomlin decided to go for two, meaning a couple of points they haven't been able to get from dealers, the first-half strengths there for both teams.
The Steelers will start the second half with their own football. 25 and we'll take you to Aaron Andrews, well you just mentioned that Ezekiel Elliott 83-yard touchdown run and that was all Mike Tallman wanted to tell me about. He said you know his team, his defense has done a good job. With the tackling and the rush, but the only thing he really touched for his team was that touchdown, he said we can't let these explosive plays happen, especially when we know it's going to happen. I asked these two trainers. that this game is going to come d proper to Mike Tomlin telling me we can't hunt they have to punt Jason Garrett telling me we have to clean these penalties yeah that was a lot of penalties in that first half eight of them to Dallas for 60 yards it was a problem for pittsburgh last week baltimore here is one that goes for a deep pass to hamilton and has it at 35. and from the beginning the steelers air it and complete one to kobe hamilton for 39. yes, just when you say not many big plays Colby Hamilton runs him up and Brandon Carr turns around but it's still contested and Hamilton has to raise and then make a play, he's capable of High Point, drags him down with strong hands and a good start to the offense Steelers Ben Roethlisberger has always had a great touch on deep ball there are so many things that could be at the top of the list you set up 39 yards and now in first down game action ad and that was a broken play back to the 39. yarder to hamilton you see from the pocket and when and you run those kinds of routes then you have to have some time in the middle and you see Roethlisberger with a good pocket and with a lot of space there to be able to step up and expose him and like I said Kobe Hamilton well coverage and even withBrandon Carr getting his hand on the ball, he's able to drag it and so, hey, Mike Tomlin talked about it this week that they wanted to see other guys besides Antonio Brown make plays and he goes into action. eight different receivers Robles Burgers today second and nine now down the far sideline incompletions Antonio Brown made the catch but out of bounds his hands his athleticism is off the charts and out of bounds yes I think if Antonio Brown knew If he was that close, he could have put his feet down and I don't even know how Roethlisberger could have given him a chance.
Anthony Brown, the rookie, was in a great position, just one ball well pitched and they just missed that, right? Outside The edge of field goal range for Boswell may have been sketchy in the past, but foreign Flags Colby Hamilton and Anthony Brown aren't sure exactly who Roethlisberger was trying to throw the ball to him. It didn't look like a catchable ball to me and I went after it. went after rookie once again Anthony Brown pass interference Defenseman number 30. the ball that plays to the foul spot first against Pittsburgh, you see Colby Hamilton, he's waiting for the ball on the outside, it's thrown to the inside and there's an inside receiver who was running down the field as well okay I don't think even without contact there Kobe Hamilton would be able to make a play on the ball you see Jason Garrett he's trying to say the ball was tilted what I think. it just slipped out of Roethlisberger's hand on the pitch, it came out funky and then the penalty flag for an incomplete 28 yard penalty now Brown is looking for a flag it's been a lot of Anthony Brown with Ben Roethlisberger gone after nu 30 amber, that he was upset because he got that 28-yard pass interference call against him and here's another look and then you know they get the panel, they get the 28-yard gain Kobe Hamilton, he goes after Brandon Carr on the first play and drags that one from So, it's been deep shots on Anthony Brown in the second and Burger's no-goal pass is almost intercepted on an Eli Rogers tip of his hands and then onto the grass In the end zone Third and goal kick here and you know it's one where Eli Rogers has to be able to make a play, but yeah, the Steelers are lucky with that. here in the Red Zone a condensed area when you miss high and the ball goes out of hand like it did most of the time that ball gets intercepted Bell Le'Veon Bell at the bottom of the screen Brandon Carr in front of him third and goal Quick kick pass broken up and Fourth Down Steelers look for a flag they don't get Antonio Brown the target with Byron Jones in coverage Yeah they work the inside lean they have Le'Veon Bell outside lean and there were hands there and I agree with Antonio Brown, I think there should have been a call, but he also had Le'Veon Bell outside, who ran a really good route, had a clean look for a touchdown, but I think the Cowboys got away with yours.
Here is Boswell now. a two by three 25 yard drive on afternoon slash night and it's a five point game in Pittsburgh today's game is sponsored by Southwest yeah the low bears have nothing to hide that's the transparency of the new 2017 Ford Super Duty this is the next level and by Miller Lite, the Steelers and Steeler Nation introduced the Original Foreign Light Beer to recognize a group of fans for their dedication and support of the Pittsburgh Steelers. More than 500 fans attended and most traveled from Mexico by plane and bus a kick in the end zone and lucky Whitehead will get her out able to cross the 25 and a 30 yard return in honor of Veterans Day watch this for every point scored during the 32 NFL service games the league will play donates $1,000 to its military nonprofit partners, including the Pat Tillman Uso Foundation and Wounded Warrior Project join the salute and learn more visit nfl.com salute well that didn't look like much fun John jumping out of that airport but awesome and Now from the 26th here's Dak Prescott where Elliott can cross all 30 picked up six We're going to get into that at some point, but Tony Romo is getting healthier and healthier.
However, it's been almost a full year since he last played. a game that counted last Thanksgiving at home against Carolina when he broke his left clavicle for the second time last season, obviously much better with Tony Romo, but that was done without Dak Prescott, who led the Cowboys to a 7-1 start and he's putting up numbers but few have been able to in the history of this league when a rookie rookie pitches to another rookie and Elliott is going to fight and get knocked down close to a first down for Dallas, well that makes you feel wrong.
Just to know how short the leash is on Deck Prescott, you know when this team is in trouble or when he's in trouble. What happens if they don't win this game here tonight? I don't have the answer to that, but it's one that everyone has. asking and I think he made a good point Joe that Tony Romo I think a lot of people look at him and think back to the 2014 version and recognize that he didn't play a lot of games last year, but the ones that he played he didn't play. He doesn't play particularly well and then of course we know about the injury, so I'm as interested as anyone to see exactly what happens when Prescott hits that bump in the road.
Here's Elliott with a first down. romo's numbers are fantastic 78 and 49 but he has only two career postseason wins two and four he has thrown for over 33,000 yards his winning percentage is tremendous in the regular season he also has 36 he has to get back on fit on the first try. The right hand throws it on the first catch for Whitton, who is out of bounds on Dallas' first down. I think what we do know, Joe, is that you talk to the players on this team who love to play for number four and there's a chemistry and an energy with this club that you just don't see very often and it's hard to capture. and I would be very careful and I've said this throughout the season that whatever happens in a game where when it hits you know we all had it as quarterbacks that you have to be very smart with how they handle it because there's a lot of guys in that locker room, 52 others who also have opinions about what they think should happen.
Here's Elliott with a nice run up to 45. Aaron Andrews and when you talk to guys like Sean. Lee or Jason Witten, they all say that these young players like Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott are helping them feel young again and the other thing that Sean Lee told us the other day was that while they're playing and having a good time they're very serious about practice and that's s Something these veterans really appreciate too, but second try and four, here's Elliot, lags forward a little bit. Jason Whitton, who by the way is probably Tony Romo's closest friend on the Cowboys team, said from day one, when Prescott stepped in, that he has commanded the Huddle, his friends, defensive lineman The Long Snapper LP The duzer , you go through the team, this guy has a relationship with every one of them and they love him and even last week when he had to show some leadership with Dez Bryant, he got him.
Brian came out after the fact and said he really appreciated it appreciated the way Prescott handled it here's Elliott he's now three for three in Third and one in this game and it's a first down for Dallas as they're going to trailing behind by five. ence Timmons, who is unlocked and is there to make a play and I've been asked a lot here this year, you know, comparing Ezekiel Elliott to Emmett Smith and the only thing I think they have in common is that they can make the first one in the hole unlocked as we saw him lose as well as anyone ever seen Emmett made a career out of it and through eight nine games now Elliot is fine too Prescott passes it on for Dez Bryant incomplete and Prescott ends up on the ground as he was under press well Alfred Morris has to help help in pass protection but Prescott has the pressure right in his face knows he's going to get hit he tries to deliver the ball and a good route outside Dez Bryant just a ball sailing over him Because of the pressure, Ryan Shazier and James Harrison are there to get him to the ground here's Morris in second and ten big third for Dallas a three game meanwhile the decision is a little easier when To ny Romo is in a sweatshirt.
Side light next week sees everyone's eyes at number four on third down and seven come timeout taken by the Steelers moving all over the place defensively on third down and seven so with timeout taken by Mike Tomlin and leading up to this third and seven we'll have a chance to bring him into the broadcast booth. Prescott comes on the sideline Joe Buck along with Hall of Famer Troy Aikman and, since I guess we just bowed in the whole Tony Romo situation, that's a no go. to go with the Dallas Cowboys they have a guy who is a multi time pro bowler who will be the backup it would seem and I think at least initially Tony Romo will and he has already handled the situation to the best of his ability while watching it Dak Prescott surprised everyone in the NFL, yeah I agree with that, I think Dak Prescott has handled it as well as anyone could ask for and I think they kept waiting thinking they really wouldn't have to.
It's a statement, but once Tony Romo suits up and he's on the sidelines as a backup, you can bet you know then it's the decision the third down and seven Blitz passes is called what shot Dez Bryant and Dak Prescott through that. before Bryant was even close to coming off his break a first down yeah and Prescott really can't calm down he knows there's pressure and he has to let him and give Brian a chance knowing exactly where he's going to be and Bryant goes and get that's great job there converting you see Ronald Leary he can get out of that late just helps give Prescott a little more protection Dallas chewing up a little bit of watch here this one is off Cole Beasley's right hand for an offense that has converted three third downs on this drive trailed by five and all Ben can do is watch with the rest of us.
I think Beasley might have been happy the ball was high because there were a couple unblocked Steelers getting ready to unload on him. This will be the 12th play for the offense. He just leaves the NFL. 10 or more plays arrive. seeing him back in the game after going away with an injury in the first half that completion good for six ya Burns that's really a good play doesn't sound like much but he's a tough guy to get in the open field we've seen him catch a few times that ball and not be tackled. We will now see what Scott Linehan.
This is a drive that, offensively, they had struggled on third down. They have converted several of them here. possession and now faced by the third and fourth s Prescott is sacked near the 30 yard line. and Harrison steps in, runs through Zach Martin who loses his balance and takes the inside pressure and Prescott just doesn't feel James Harrison on his back. he clings to it thinking maybe he can get away Harrison finishes him off with a 46 yard drive from Dan Bailey and Bailey well again three for three in this game is number five and again a two point crook leads the small screen content the size of a stadium watch Sunday local games live on your smartphone with NFL Mobile good game in Pittsburgh is the Dallas Cowboys 7-1 against the four and four Pittsburgh Steelers Baltimore enters leading the AFC North beat Cleveland Steelers 28-7 on Thursday trying to tie the ravens at five and four and pittsburgh has two games left with winless cleveland before the end of the season here's tucson the foreigner hits the limit and a nice comeback through the 30 back to work big ben watch kids Big Ben Parliament he will be on the field when we go back up too today's game is sponsored by the all new 2017 ford super duty this is the next level for Ben Roethlisberger it's his day two touchdowns no interceptions Antonio Brown some tough catches on Le'Veon Bell has a touchdown catch 12 c carries 46 yards good game Steelers up by two here's the count with Lee chasing him down from behind can't give himself the luxury of seeing them start there with a run you think of the Steelers last possession going after Anthony Brown they took his deep shots and something we're used to seeing from Roethlisberger over the years, being able to take advantage of some of those looks and see if they don't go after Anthony Brown again on this well played possession up front and Bell just did a great job turning it into a positive play and then a great late JJ Wilcox hit on Hitchens initially and on the stoppage in a three thirds gain and three going up oh we've seen bell with some good runs some pretty nifty runs he has a 16 yard dash but in s For the most part, Haley Haley The Cowboys must be very pleased with the way they've handled the run game, are you third and three downed behind Demarcus Lawrence? well they had man-to-man andBrandon Carr are covering Antonio Brown and there was enough of a collision there that made Roethlisberger hold on to him more than he wanted to, he just wanted to let go and shoot down the field and as he comes out of the brown Demarcus Lawrence is there to make a play Demarcus was suspended for the first four games of the season here's a nice punt that gets Whitehead back some room to maneuver and Whitehead's luck to the sideline cuts him down he still has a great block and kicker smoked.
It was smart Keith with a block on Jordan Perry and a 39-yard return for Lucky Whiteheads, his long season for 20. well played by the Dallas punt return team and good starting field position short of two foreigners. looked on the sideline after taking a head to head after a 57 yard punt here is Ezekiel Elliott down the left side the punt ends up only scoring 18 yards due to good return and there is the hit Smith the big fullback 41 on. Jordan Berr and hey those guys those punters aren't used to getting hit like that obviously and hey Jordan buried some credit he's got to go in there and try to make a play and he did he took the punishment surprised no one did He is watching. those guys don't bounce back well from those kind of hits but good job on your part second and three passes to Morris a yard short of a first down good we've seen Dallas now here on first and second down come out and run the ball and I would start to expect to see more of Ezekiel Elliott and more of Alfred Morris and, you know, for two and a half quarters of this ball game, almost three quarters now, the Cowboys have been throwing the ball more than running it, that's not untypical, but through the course of the game they like is when they start to like to impose their will to hit them with the game Run and I look forward to seeing that really play out as we go through the rest of the alley game against him and he picks it up . again but comes a flag itself and it's against Dallas keeping the offense another 65. a 10 yard penalty we played Third Down that wipes away on the first down like they say against Ronald Leary yeah I think that was a good call too Larry is right there 65.
You see the left-arm grab there on Daniel McColers that nullifies what would have been a first down for the Cowboys that's the third offensive holding penalty called against Dallas and you see the penalties really racking up 10 for 98 yards now 3rd and 11. this one down field pass caught Des Bryant touchdown weird for Dez Bryant it's a one on one coverage on the rookie with Hardy Burns and a bit of contact down the field but Prescott with pressure bring to the inside linebacker Blitz and Prescott can move far enough to their left and really throw a perfect ball and Dez Bryant bottles it for a moment, drags it into a great third-op conversion Chance for six Floyd points that went 50 yards on third down and 11. set up by Whitehead's punt return and in America's game of the week and this great intraconference matchup Cowboys Steelers Dallas five up as Bryant gets the touchdown, one of the best things to say about Dak Prescott, the game hasn't been too fast for him and he's been able to find the guys wide open against Dez Bryant in this game with people talking about that relationship all game long week.
Dak Prescott is capable of finding the big number 88 for a 50-yard touchdown run and a go-ahead point, well, back to that. to then work in the middle of the field that allows one on one up with the rookie already burning Dez Bryant and a lot of times for a young quarterback when you put pressure clean up appearances because you know you got one on one and Prescott was able to win some time and hits a perfect shot to Dez Bryant, who is having a great day. He is a guy who has been targeted a lot. He hasn't always caught a lot of balls, but in this game he targeted nine times six catches over 100 yards he didn't get anything bigger than a 50-yard touchdown from the 25-yard line now a low screen shot caught by Bell and Bell went sprinting Terrell McLean ran into him a gain of just three Dak Prescott came into this game with just one completion of 50+ yards in his rookie season has three total now is 2-1 in this first half to Ezekiel Elliott and now the touchdown from the lead to Dez Bryant well we talked about that before there hasn't been a lot of big plays in the passing game before the Cowboys this year but boy do you get the running game going and it opened up a few things for some one on one looks that , of course, it was third and 11, but Keith Butler decided to put pressure on him to try and get the ball. out of the hands of the rookies quickly buy some time and then you expose yourself on the outside a 66th medical timeout for Pittsburgh must go out for a play due to medical situation well now David de Castro pro bowler from a year ago will have to do it go away and he has nothing to say bring B.
J Finney to take over the watch and obviously someone in the field, one of the officers saw something they didn't like and the David de Castro part for the medical staff upstairs so you have to verify that's why we show you the replay going to a commercial break when David de Castro was shot in the head and now you look at Castro on the sidelines that man in the blue hat is an independent consultant to be there in the Huddle to make sure Castro is okay to carry on after this play, the second and seventh catches made by Bell and Bell are going to get knocked down right before the first down by Damian Wilson back in the game, so now the third down and one passed the tests on the sideline, they didn't have to. take him to the locker room they got their Pro Bowl back wow a lot of confusion on the part of the Steelers there and they have had 12 men on the field anyway it was a flag before the snap we will have to make a fast blakeman, yes we will see how they solve this could be a very expensive penalty for the Steelers.
There is no foul for defense or offense. Have a twin man in the field. They are in the process of being replaced. Still on third down, so because they botched the play before David Johnson could leave the field. no penalty Jason Garrett doesn't like it and he's still third in inches butter butter to Bell and hell and it's a first down by Byron Jones on the tackle and with that we're done three quarters good game five points Cowboy comes back after this from your local Fox station, well, both star running backs have a receiving touchdown in this game, an Ezekiel Elliott 83 yard or two one down near Le'Veon Bell today, five point game starting the fourth quarter and a throw to Brown sacked by Lawrence, who also has Cowboy's only sack this game, had eight a year ago to lead the team and is back and playing better after his four-game suspension to start the year, yes it looked like Demarcus Lawrence was playing past Ru. ss all the way down the field and not anticipating Ron, but that play, the Steelers are really lucky that's all that happened because Demarcus Lawrence, from where he was, a lot of bad things could have happened worse than what a loss of 10 seconds and 20 happened to the steelers. female passes caught which is ladarius green to make for a more manageable third down as green is good for 11. that's all roethlisberger was trying to do there as You know, backed up on second down try to get enough yardage Cowboys Playing coverage to make it at least manageable on third and nine of 11.
What a job Rob Marinelli has done with his defense. Yes, Marinelli is not a big blitz guy and he likes to rush. do it here on third down, third down and nine passes down caught by bell and he gets hit hard the flag is down JJ Wilcox with another big hit and the call is against Pittsburgh you can use 77th hand offense that penalty ty Klein brings up 4th down it's against Marcus Gilbert and JJ Wilcox has been hitting hard plus Joe this is a big shot from Wilcox he comes in and Le'Veon Bell is one of those you ain't sure the guy will get up . but when he first caught the ball if he makes Byron Jones miss it looked like he was going to be able to get the first down, now you had the penalty on Marcus Gilbert but JJ Wilcox is playing level in place of the injured Barry Church. with a broken forearm here's the punt last we saw Jordan Berry took a big hit and Harry dangles one on a nice punt to the sideline Cowboys have the ball 45 yard punt they also have a five point lead the game today is sponsored by Audi C Exceptional Deals on select models during the season over a sales event and by Burger King now get three large pancakes for just 89 cents Only at Burger King and Rooney's Cardinal World North Catholic Trojans lost their playoff game against the Neshanic Lancers on Friday night as Tomlinson and Joey Porter's son broke the game on that team here's Elliott on the right side on first down told them Dan Rooney went there the 84 year old Hall of Famer ex ambassador to ireland from 2009 to 2012 for president obama and there he is and north catholic and a quarterback a class of the 1950s one of the class men in the history of the NFL, well, we don't get to go to Pittsburgh often, but when we do, it sure is nice to see Mr.
Rooney and I get to see him. Friday means a lot to this league. Prescott's throws behind Whitten's passes caught his yardage before a first down as Timmons tackles again seven third downs and one that reaches a big third here and the Steelers overall have done a decent job on Ezekiel. Elliott averages about five yards to carry but his longest rush is only eight yards that says a lot trying to keep it bottled up and can they make a stop here at Third and get the ball back to their offense with a late substitution of Chance for Dallas bring in a game clock from additional offensive lineman Joe Looney and five, it's Elliott who cuts and won't get it.
The claim made by Sean Davis, the rookie, and a good job of Maryland's second-round pick, he's fourth down now, one of those rookies that has contributed to this team and has had more playing time he just shoots he's capable to go in there and go third and you can't wait you have to go and he does and it's an excellent job that's going to come right in here and he makes a play and then of course Lawrence Timmons is there too but it's an outstanding job by this Pittsburgh defense to force a three and the defense enters this game 24th in the NFL caught by Jones with Brown waiting inside the 35 .room Far Side Jones on his way and putter Chris Jones forced him to come out after a 22-yard return by Antonio Brown and excellent starting field position for the Steelers trailing by five when counting most of the Pittsburgh Steelers have beaten the Dallas Cowboys. two or three times Super Bowls Of Days Gone By here's Bell back at the half for the steelers on offense now 58. and let's go back to the punt coverage team and Lance Dunbar Sammy covers there's a lot that's allowed outside that's not They did not draw a Maul penalty against each other on that play.
The second time the Steelers began to drive into cowboy territory they did so on their first possession after Prescott threw a quick fumble. Brown with a blocker up front first and it went to Pittsburgh and that was Eli Rogers who delivered the block tonight if you really want to know what outrageous means Fox Sunday is happy to give you a lesson in all new Fox Sunday tonight starting at 8 Eastern Seven Central right here not just on Fox that Cowboys defense have their hands full giving the Steelers the ball in midfield and trying to stop this group is no easy task first big down there Delaney but Antonio Brown here there is Brown on the other side he has a round Byron Jones but Brandon Carr is th Before stopping a game of just two now you just see how dangerous they can be when they get the ball you know quickly in their hands with a bit of space and had a good block on that second attempt on the previous one. playing to pick it up that time didn't help much, but he was still able to catch at least a little bit of the queen this after a 22-yard punt returned by Brown here's Antonio out of bounds again near the 10. well that's a pit-route designed by the Steelers and they can get Antonio Brown into that little soft area in the zone just behind Leon McFadden and because they get a receiver down just enough to help keep McFadden up and create some space for Antonio Brown. to come in behind him Leon McFadden is in the game because Orlando Scandrick is out while being checked for a blow to the head.
Quick shot Jesse James near here is the hit Orlando Scandrick took and the Cowboys are very skinny in the corner now. without Claiborne and Scandrick Fadd in I was at it a week ago and there's Orlando Scandrick first and the goal of one is an additional offensive lineman Chris Hubbard comes in for Pittsburgh to retire Roosevelt onnext there too now he extends it and takes it in touchdown Pittsburgh and they're going to go for two one more time here's the touchdown well just a good hard run from Le'Veon Bell and he had just enough to be able to extend it to the touchdown, great job, you see, Pittsburgh, you see, they lead with Nixon fullback like you said, Hubbard, he's there to try to help the Cowboys had a chance, but Le'Veon Bell could only go through it and end a drive that As I said, it started in midfield, it was difficult, it was difficult trying to contain this group with that kind of field position to start this series. oh for two in this game Bell at the top of the screen this to make it a three point game what's up?
Roethlisberger just flips it over and incompletes Toussaint shone in front of Jesse James and James could have been there to catch him easily and ou Out of nowhere comes to Sant who can't make the play and the lead is one. Today's game is sponsored by T-Mobile. Switch to the network built for unlimited data. We'll show you the two-point try, since the Steelers are old now. for three on the two point try in this game they tried a two point try the first time you're always trying to get those points back when you don't convert and the lead is only one let's look at their last try what? a play by Roethlisberger and look 81 he ends up waiting for this float that's about to land on his stomach and here comes Toussaint to take it away now to save the day and he didn't know James was there that he could have made a play on that and you're right Ben Roethlisberger does an excellent job you know Under pressure you know give your guy a chance and toussainted to see James there and try to make a play and as a result they fell for the points I think you know your point is well made that once you miss on the first two points with conversion tomlin has been chasing those points since here is Prescott on first down, shots well guarded high to Lucky Whitehead who jumps out of bounds and then gets hit and will be a 15 yard penalty on Ross Cockrell, thanks after the personal move. foul unnecessary rudeness Defenseman number 31. 15 yards to go on the run first to Dallas, well that's the opposite sideline from the Steelers so Mike Tomlin can't say exactly what happened but I think it was an easy call , it's out of bounds and he gives it a shot that carries the ball to the 45-yard line. 20-yard gain on the play and the penalty pass to Elliott when we spoke to Mike Tomlin, he said what Elliott does so well is that as the game goes on he uses a defense and specifically wears down defensive backs, the smaller guys who are trying to come in for tackles aren't as excited about it as the game goes on so far, for the most part, The high level that he's had under control, yeah, 72 yards and stuff. have been a tough 72 yards.
I've had to fight Claw for every one of them. He plays action. Prescott now passes it to Ali on first down and more and the clock will continue to spin like Elliott with a catch and run of 12. just good patience from Prescott looks like he's trying to get the ball you know that on the field is not there he knows where his out receiver is with Elliott he leaves it to him and no these are the things you learn as you go up in this league but Prescott shows great patience and rarely forces the ball and you see the work that Tyron Smith tries to slow down that James Harrison guy. that's a tall order Beasley has been played by rookie Sean Davis no games really haven't been able to get Beasley into this game today he had been Prescott's favorite target coming into the game and a guy that every time he went his way he caught the ball more than 80 percent of the time when the ball was thrown to him, he went down with a completion, he's had a couple of knockdowns, a few missed opportunities, but the Steelers have had answers for him. goes to Mark Whitton short on first down yardage around a half yard looks like they're really going to get a measurement it's an excellent job by Prescott initially wants to go to Beasley and you see the attention Beasley gets and Prescott snaps out of it immediately.
He works again with Whitton for a nice finish to set up this third and short, well, they're going to measure, it looks like he's a little short. Whitton is making his case by saying he didn't make enough progress with it. extra Spin and reach and it'll be third down and they're both in field goal range down by one and that's going through Jason Garrett's mind if we don't pick it up I think what's going through his mind is we better choose to pick it up and continue to take time off this clock and don't get the ball back to Pittsburgh I think y'all know what Roethlisberger is capable of Ezekiel Elliott is three for four on third down and one in this game is less than one and this nse loss is sixth best in the NFL going into this game at Third and one they give it to Elliott, he has it at 4 and a half and here's the added benefit, although it's probably more of an added benefit when you have the running game than what the Cowboys is you can eat up a lot of the clock as they're in a position down here for just one Pittsburgh, just two timeouts and we're closing in on four minutes left and if they do that I would expect to see a High percentage gets the ball out fast, make sure you keep the clock ticking, oh, that's in the middle there, easily, makes the catch in traffic, the clock will move less than four gates out of seven, well, we're talking about Elliott and all the things that he I can catch the ball and run the ball, but for a young running back, those are the things that impress me, you just don't see the guy is what most running backs aren't asked to do do, that in the university they really struggle. with that that ball that Prescott just threw a little risky away from Elliott in midfield second and three here's Elliot drag down what a play by Shazier that's a great job by Shazier normally you'll see the tandem block here than you let's get O'Leary out of it he can't make a play Ryan Shazier only sees an opening passes the ball to Elliott the hitter has great speed and quickness makes a great play he can make his entire third game back in one knee injury can cover can play The Run can Blitz not much else you need to do at linebacker third and eight now monster first and down is Jason Witten takes it inside 15 and rookie Prescott throws another strong pitch good third and Long Prescott knows where he's going and that's it Jason Witten has made a living with this midfield route option soon to be a Hall of Famer five years after retiring on the route he m The most he is known for is on the option route and apparently no one can defend him, he pushes up, he can push in and then come out of the middle and when the ball is where it needs to be it's almost impossible to defend it, the Cowboys don't have to breaking it before the two-minute warning just can't stress how great the first down was on the two-minute warning first down Dallas down by one those two-point tries may come back to haunt the steelers today's game is sponsored by Subway try the classic move stack with corned beef for a limited time just go back and check out that option path from jason witten here in the ryan slot she's here he's the one who's going to be asked to try and cover it and you'll see garrett push to up excuse me Whitton pushes up but when he comes out of that that ball also has to be perfectly placed and that's the point in the ball game where a player Young gador can get a little tight and not make the pitch that needs to be made.
Dak Prescott is a critical moment. in this game he delivers ers a perfect ball Joe Elliott starts right shorts the field Touchdown Dallas and you wonder here with the score being what it is in the first place Dallas is in a position where a two point conversion gives them a seven point lead in second place you wonder if the Pittsburgh Steelers weren't so intent on stopping Elliott either way their offense will get the ball back and Dallas at this point will go for the two point drive well that's the right decision to try to make of This is a seven point game.
How did you go on offense? line with Travis Frederick and then back Ron Ron Leary also makes a key block that opens up that hole for Ezekiel Elliott my guys haven't tried a two point truck watch out for Prescott he has run the quarterback toss from here first pass off two points to Bryant incomplete and I'm going to say it again the Dallas Cowboys were in position to run down the clock and force the Steelers to use their timeouts the touchdown makes it a five point lead but the Steelers are poised to take it back Ezekiel Elliott with a season high for scrimmage yards in a game 177 has two touchdowns now one rushing but the Pittsburgh Steelers are about to take it back and they will have the game and the hands of Ben Roethlisberger as they trail for five but a minute 55 and two odds and the journey begins on the 25th. tomorrow night National Geographic invites you to go to Mars join humanity's greatest adventure to find out how we made our home on mars the new series mars premieres tomorrow night only on National Geographic it's not mars but the moon hasn't been this close to us in 68 years wins in a row hey thanks quick throw brown a little behind him with a good catch, short game clock winds up, two timeouts, McFadden is making the save.
McFadden just added last week, former Cleveland third round pick in 2013. Cowboys giving outside help downfield is for a first down Ladarius Green has to fill in for Lagarius Green we'll talk touchdown with Elliott when we get the chance now same after that 10 yard gain with the safeties first and deep for Pittsburgh plenty of space Le'Veon Bell inside the 40. and a timeout taken by the Steelers thanks pretty nifty little play by the Steelers Le'Veon Bell going to start on the outside but then they put Castro, he leads the way to block and bring in Le'Veon Bell, then underneath he's close because he can't be in the field doing a block before the ball is caught and he hits, he has to be in the line of scrimmage. so that was one the Steelers could have called, but that's what freed up Le'Veon Bell for the big game and again the first play after the two-minute warning with two timeouts remaining.
The Steelers on defense saw Ezekiel Elliott almost carry it. intact makes the deficit five but gives number seven a chance to answer yes in a game that has had five lead changes Jesse James a hurdle for 15. well they got the cowboys that one time they've been throwing that wide receiver screen Antonio Brown so often and then they stuffed him behind him here's a fake finisher Brown scoring Pittsburgh's shadows of Mourinho come back and take a look at the play before that for the score they've been throwing from wide open to Antonio Brown this time sneak up on James looking like he's going to block get the game there come back face fake Antonio Brown one-on-one finisher outside Leon McFadden Roethlisberger's shot on Pittsburgh native Dan Marino is first or at least the last one we saw do that and Ben Roethlisberger faked the finisher and then dropped a beauty and for the fourth time the Steelers are going for two three here yeah build a three point lead time for Dallas btw and to take away and now carr in the r Comes back and a flag pops up at the end but just one score there really means anything and how about Ben Roethlisberger five for five on that touchdown pass ?
There is no foul for a low block on the play. The winner was him. ball carrier so it was legal phe no good so all for four trying for two tonight and with all those misses a field goal for dallas wins the game here's lead change number six this it's just a great veteran move, you know something they talk about. During the week that they worked and Antonio Brown knew what was coming, he ran off, that was not by chance and it's excellent work. You see Demarcus Lawrence, just stand up, they were ready for it, no, that's what happened.
A lot of times you get into a rut and the Steelers can take advantage of it, but how about the afternoon that Ben Roethlisberger has had and the last two weeks that he's played have been a little rough after a really tough outing last time out? ek against the Baltimore Ravens and he's a different guy you talk to anyone who has followed this team when they're home and you never bet against him he's a terrific player he had a great run and delivered when needed right now good now let's swing it back the other way three timeouts were left by the time there were 42 seconds left for rookie Dak Prescott, his Cowboys defense coming in as one of two teams not to allow more than 23 points this season along with the Vikings Steelers have contributed 30. well Prescott has a few things working in his favor, I mean, first of all, they have the three timeouts andhe has Dan Bailey on the sidelines, his longest field goal is 56 yards, but I don't think anyone really knows what his range is.
I mean this guy can kick it it's a little different here than it is at Cowboys stadium the tour will start on the 25th if you're just tuning in to this game you've missed a lot Dak Prescott with another awesome day for the rookie Ben Roethlisberger, three weeks after surgery on his left knee, was just phenomenal and the Steelers went too early on their first touchdown of the game. They've been chasing those points ever since, oh for four on two point attempts and because of all of that this is only a Pittsburgh one point lead here's Prescott shooting with his drive getting him back into his own end zone and under for Whitton 2nd and 10 yeah that's one of those where the Cowboys are happy that that was incomplete if he makes that catch he'll be tackled pretty great on the spot they would have had to burn one of their timeouts Dez Bryant is drawing attention right now they've got two guys locked up in it woman i can't imagine they're going to give him one -one look, but right now prescott shoots has beasley beasley had first shot and may have given it up looks like it's hit enough progress for a new set and a timeout taken by Dallas.
We'll give you a video recap Ezekiel Elliott with an 83-yard TD reception and ran on a 50-yard screen to Dez Bryant on 3rd down and 11 and the Cowboys were celebrating Le'Veon Bell has had a game two touchdown one during year one on the ground and then Ezekiel Elliott just walked on the first play after the two-minute warning and that gave Big Ben a chance to do it. Going for the perfect field on the drive and the touchdown to Brown for a one point lead. Prescott now on first down pass is caught by Whitney and Whitton has another first down and with 23 seconds remaining Dallas takes their second timeout in case you're wondering Troy talked about the length of bayley's 56 yard run what taking him would mean at the 38-yard line but nothing is a given in this ballpark and on the previous play this umpire team missed that facemask call by William Gay against Cole Beasley turning his helmet all the way and that would have been 15 free yards 15 yards , yeah that's obviously huge from where that b all was captured in case you're wondering what kind of game it's been no NFL game this season has had seven lead changes we're at six if we get to seven the Cowboys will take the forward on that purple line would be the outside edge of field goal range for bayley first down one time out Prescott throws pass is caught and write down stays standing and flags down at end of d the same and let's see what this call can be if it's a mask this would be huge I'm not sure how they look like they missed the one on Beasley but it looks like they're going to get this one on Sean Davis and a personal foul grabbing the face mask Defenseman number 31 The 15 yard penalty falls on Dallas and maybe more importantly it saves the timeout and Whitton was already on his feet I mean he wasn't really going anywhere this was a team that was penalized a lot and that loss last week and none more expensive in this game than last week there were 13 penalties against the ravens by mike tomlin's team this i is a big one here they are at dan bailey's range right now four penalties for 40 yards in this one a big 15 yardage here is LAX Elliott for the no touchdown Flags Cowboys lead nine seconds left of L Pro left tackle Tyrant Smith and then Gavin Escobar makes the block you see the lane right there and it's goodnight Irene there There was a second left on the play clock when this ball broke up and that rookie combination of Prescott and Elliott what a game for Elliott 209 yards from scrimmage three touchdowns and there's lead change number seven and the Cowboys knew that they were inside Dan Bailey's right range there I think Jason Garrett Scott Linehan just said let's run the ball and see what we can get to use our timeout kick the game winner and Ezekiel Elliott with a big block up front goes all the way to the final this will be the sixth two- Dallas takes one point try this game during the final timeout with the play clock running out after holding six point tries and none of them have been good oh for five so far Pittsburgh four and here's t the touchdown i mean intact as before on the back of the two minute warning this is an amazing run from an organization that hasn't won After eight straight games in a season since the version of the 1977 Super Bowl champion with the rookie gate ready to receive the ball from Starbucks, what do you think Dak Prescott will be quarterback next week?
Dez Bryant the target yes Lowe's featured overtime is going well I need to talk about Artie Burns by the way he was defending Dez Bryant he could do full overtime just in this game let alone what happened in the victory of the Chiefs and Denver. Broncos win crazy day here week 10 NFL-wide nine seconds left in Pittsburgh with a game timeout the Steelers desperately wanted in are in danger of losing their fourth straight to get under 500. Pittsburgh is coming off f a loss in baltimore and they have a home game against the ravens in week 16 but the cowboys are trying to get to eight and one good we'll see what happens here with nine seconds left but they all hurt this one hurts especially if you it's the Steelers and you can come back and Roethlisberger is riding a series lead and with less than a minute to play against a rookie quarterback and you're the Pittsburgh Steelers and those things aren't supposed to happen to a Steelers defense there will be seven left games for the Cowboys after this game Ezekiel Elliott already has over 1,000 rushing yards for the season here's Bailey with a line kick in the end zone so no time off the clock the NFL rookie rushing record belongs to Eric Dickerson with 1808 with a 1983 LA Rams and that's well within range considering how this season has gone for Ezekiel Elliott to try for Troy to not just set that record but he's a favorite if not the top favorite right now in MVP talk f forget Rookie of the Year and there's no question he's a short list but he's under there he's brown in a game five-pointer, once out, the Steelers will use it with two seconds remaining, of course, a lot of discussion when they drafted Ezekiel Elliott. whether that was the right pick or not he's right it's worth mentioning and Jerry Jones deserves credit for pulling the trigger there were some who thought it was scope to take a fourth running back overall but according to Mike Tomlin he said there was no seen nobody come out of college like Ezekiel Elliott since Adrian Peterson yeah and Marshawn Lynch Mike Tomlin loved him they love him too in Dallas the Cowboys have seven guys near the end zone two seconds to go but he has They've got to get in the end zone and it won't happen.
The Dallas Cowboys have won eight in a row and that Prescott and Elliott rookie backfield as the Cowboys top the NFC East with an 8-1 foreigner in his sixth full year as the boss. man with dallas never been part of a streak like this in the nfl the OT presented by Lowe's comes as america's game of the week what a ride it was in pittsburgh
