CLEAN WITH ME 2019 // KITCHEN ORGANIZATION HACKS FROM IKEA AND DOLLAR TREE // ORGANIZE WITH ME

Hello guys and welcome back to my channel. I'm going to do a

clean

ing video with me. I'm going to

organize

the

kitchen

and show you how I use some of these baskets to

organize

the

kitchen

. This first basket is from Walmart and it's 94 cents I love it. Later I will show you how I place them in the closets. They are very sturdy and are my favorite to use. The other ones I love to use are from the Dollar Tree. a little bigger, I love using them in the pantry and again I will show you later how I use them.

They are a little flimsier, but I still like using them. The next set here is from Walmart, it costs 94 cents and comes in packs of two or three. I love this square basket, it's super sturdy. Dollar Tree also makes one and you can see this one is much flimsier. They also make it in these same sizes, but I like the ones from Walmart better. These different sizes and are very versatile in the kitchen. IKEA also has great drawer organizing options for under $2. I bought a couple of these trays. This drawer here is really big and everything slides around so much, so these little trays here.

They just don't work, which is why I went ahead and bought key trays from Ikea because they are so big I'm not sure exactly which ones I'm going to use here. I'm just going to play. I have three different sizes, this tray here I bought from Ikea a couple of years ago. I think it's a

dollar

29. Now it tends to collect a lot of crumbs, so I'll

clean

it up with my friend. I'll put this. cleaning spray, make sure you take everything out and then I can put all the silverware back. I love this tray. I just wish it was white so everything would match in this drawer, so the next part here will be just trial and error trying to figure it out. figure out what fits and what works and how everything is going to fit inside if you have smaller drawers than all those organizing bins I showed you from Walmart and Dollar Tree worked perfectly, but like I said, they don't work here because they are too small bins for such a space. large and here is the after I ended up using the medium size white organizer and the small one fits everything quite well and I am very happy with the result.

I'm very excited about that. Things won't slide around and everything fits in there a little tighter than all the little containers. I took the mesh basket and put it in this drawer to hold all my stuff, like my can opener, cheese grater, other sharp things, so that's this drawer and my only other drawer of stuff here is on the other side of the stove. and this one just has some stirring spoons and things used for cooking so it doesn't need any organizers, it's perfect as it is below. let's move on to the pantry, which is what I like to organize the most in the kitchen, we have a strangely shaped pantry so I have to make do with what we have, this is the above, it's not that bad, but this top shelf here with a There are a lot of things back here, like beans and oatmeal.

I really want to organize this and make it look much better. Dollar Tree has a couple different options for plastic containers and different sizes. I like to stay away from plastic and stick to glass. IKEA has an incredible selection of all types of glass jars, different sizes, different shapes, different lid options, they are all very affordable if you don't have an Ikea nearby. Walmart also has great options in their kitchen section, which I ended up going to. I also have a bunch of pitcher and pipe sized canning jars that I use for things like coffee beans, GSE temporary seeds, flax seeds, popcorn, that kind of stuff.

What I love is using them in the pantry. . This wire shelving unit was $4 from Ikea and works great in a pantry if you need some extra space, especially if you have a taller shelf like this one, it leaves room for more snacks and things. I really wanted the granola bars to be there. He had a different idea for some snacks, so we're going to go there, but I let him go ahead and put the granola bars there. These glass jars here are from Ikea and me. I love them because they have a rubber seal with a latch that keeps the jar closed.

I love using it for sugar, especially brown sugar, because it keeps it from drying out. I love using these baskets from the Dollar Tree to help organize things and put some in. dried fruits in this one here I love them, they fit perfectly in my pantry and are a wonderful size. I also like smaller ones for granola bars and smaller ones for baking, those were the ones from Walmart that I showed you earlier in the top cabinet. The pantry didn't really need

, but here are these baskets from Dollar Tree. I have one for rice, quinoa and lentils, this one is for all the teas and hot chocolate and that kind of stuff, this one is for pasta and then this one here is for extras like peanut butter salad dressing that kind of stuff and then Down here I have canning jars with chia seeds, hemp hearts and elderberries and then down here are the new canning jars that I added for the oatmeal and dried beans in this basket here I have my special snacks and then behind that I have some produce canned we don't really buy a lot of canned things and I have some almond flour this basket here is for dried fruit down here I have the little basket with granola bars and then below that are some more baskets with snacks and then behind that are just extra snacks and things back there for when this basket is empty and then right next to this is the Walmart, this one has all the faith snacks and then we have animal crackers and all the oils and stuff here remember how I told you before that I was going to show how these 94 cent Walmart baskets work in the cabinets, well this year it's for my canning jar supplies on the top and then also the next shelf down with that basket also has the lids and the rings of the canning jars, they fit perfectly on the shelves, they're not too long, the doors are still closed and it just works perfectly in there, now in this cabinet.

I'm going to make more room for some glass pirate storage dishes I bought this container from the Dollar Tree it was a little long the door wouldn't close so I went back to the one at Walmart to put the lids on as you can see it's all beautifully organized . My favorite way to organize supplements is with a lazy susan. I bought this one at Bed Bath and Beyond, but Walmart sells them too. I have all my earthly tinctures here. I've been using them for a year and a half and they are absolutely amazing. I'll link them below.

Go check out their company's amazing products and then I also have a few more supplements in this little basket here, it's really easy. take it out and see what's there and just grab something. Next up is this corner cabinet with all the Tupperware dishes and a few other things. It always turns out to be a disaster. I have no idea how it gets so dirty, but I am. I'm going to completely rearrange it. I'll start by taking everything out and then I'll give it a good clean and then I'll put some things back in here. I'm not going to save the plastic.

Tupperware stuff storage is not the actual Tupperware brand but that's what I'm talking about as they are going to go somewhere else in the kitchen and that way it will free up this area and it will be less crowded and hopefully stay longer. organized, I had all the kids snack containers and other things in the smaller Walmart container, but I decided to move it to the larger Dollar Tree container just because I have more snack containers to add in there and they fit perfectly. Here are all the storage containers and lids I'm going to go through and make sure each one has a matching lid and I'm going to throw out and get rid of anything that doesn't match.

In fact, I did quite well. well in the department of everything that matched, the only thing that didn't match were these three items so I'm going to throw them in the trash, some of these pirate pans and baking dishes that I don't use regularly so I'm going to leave them in basement storage and that way I can reorganize this area and use the bottom shelf for all those plastic storage containers. My first attempt at lid

was this container from Dollar Tree, this is the dry one. I deleted the bin and they didn't all fit in there and then as you can see it didn't fit in the cabinet so I took this larger bin that I bought from Dollar Tree and it fit in there perfectly when we moved into our house I took the shelf out of this cabinet from That way I can store all the cutting boards and baking dishes in there.

I bought this shelf here at Bed Bath & Beyond and had to shorten it a little to fit inside. of this cabinet and that way it will help all the baking sheets and cutting boards and such stay upright and make it easier to get in and out of here for my covered mug. I'm going to get rid of the things I won't use anymore. I'm going to put some of our bike water bottles and some other things here in this bin from Walmart. I'm putting the least used items on top because we have very, very tall cabinets here and I'm just kind of playing around here with different heights and I'm going to end up moving this shelf down.

I love the flexibility of these shelves, that way I can put these less used items on top if you haven't noticed already. I love these. Walmart containers. I'm using this to put all the lids on my husband's coffee cups and our water bottles. I decided to put the kids' cups in one of these baskets from the Mart and leave it here so it's easily accessible. for miles you can have a drink alone here's the after, it's nice and organized and a little easier to use for what we need. The last area I'm going to organize is the plate area, as you can see it's really disorganized, the top shelves are fine, but I'm going to focus on this area, so I went to the Dollar Tree and found this shelf that was only $ 1 and it has this little angled Clini thing that will fit absolutely perfect in the back corner of this corner cabinet Dollar Tree has a variety of different things that can really come in handy in dish cabinets.

They also have this one that can be used as spices, cans, and things in the pantry. I thought they were cool but there was only one buck that the camera wasn't recording but I went ahead and took everything out and now I'm going to spray this and clean it up like I did with all the others. These smaller baskets from Walmart will work great. for my pumping supplies and milk bags and here's the after. I love how it turned out, it's much more organized.
