choosing

what my edc should be every day. I wake up and search through these.
choosing an edc setup for carry help me

carry

gear that I'm using, besides the weapons. magazines magnetic extensions knives just keys pins all those things you know people like to

carry

it's been a while since I did an edc upgrade and you know people keep asking me but you know it's weird once I find something that actually It works for me, I don't want anyone to mess with it, I'm just saying no, don't mess with my edc, it works and I don't want to break it, but some things have inherently changed as we grow and evolve.

choosing an edc setup for carry help me...

As people, let's take a closer look, let's take a look at all of these things here in a minute. I want to show you how all of these holsters conceal here in a moment, as well as what type of weapons they are and how well they conceal. on your person and then I'll also have a full build list or edc list whatever you want to call it so make sure you follow the first link in the description if you're watching this on YouTube okay guys so I'll ask you guys to

help

me to choose one of these different EDC

setup

s here in a second and then we'll go over how they conceal everyone before we talk about weapons, let's talk about the things that I carry that aren't weapons. related first of all, I still carry this wallet here, it holds a couple of cards and contains the filler notes.
choosing an edc setup for carry help me
I don't use it as my wallet because it doesn't hold enough cards, but I definitely carry this in my other pocket in the back and I carry the Bullet Space pen in a very beautiful black, it's not shiny, it's just perfect, I can't, I'm still surprised that I didn't lose this pen, I love it when you put it together like this it becomes a full size pen, but I will tell you that a lot of people lose them, so if you're the type of person that loses pins, I really like them these Keras pins. I bought one of their copper ones like well this one is really good because it's super lightweight this one is a little shiny but I like clicky pens and it's a lot easier to keep up and not lose so those are my pins and my kind of notes.

Prepared for the flashlight situation, I've just kept it simple with these old lights. For those who are new to this channel, old school subscribers will know that I have had my problems with them in the past. My problems with them were with the quality and. You know, if I took them out of my pocket they would just stop working, however in the last two years they seem to have fixed everything, so I've been carrying this one, the olight s1r, I love it to death, it's brilliant when I need it, but if I need to get into our room without waking my wife, it has a half lumen mode and a couple of things I like about it, although it's one when I'm working on my car or something I can trim.
This on the brim of my hat or I can stick it under the steering wheel or I can stick it under the hood because it's magnetic. This actually saved me once when I had a blowout at 11 o'clock at night in the middle of nowhere, so I can say good things about this one, it's sustained and it's rechargeable, so the other light they sent me this one, I didn't ask them to do it, it's a copper light, I like this one because it's thinner, so if I wear it dress pants or something like that I usually wear.
I tend to wear this one because it takes up less volume in my pockets, but I don't wear dress pants very often, it's not very bright, I forgot all the specs from this link. I call it below so you can check it, but this one is not rechargeable and I think it needs a AAA battery. I call it like my beater light, you know this is for hanging around the house, maybe I throw it in the car or something now we'll talk more about these knives here in a minute, but I'll just give you the information here, this is the microtech ultratech spartan, you guys probably saw this in my last edc update.
To let you know how it's going, we also have my spyderco yo jimbo 2, which was customized by my friend from frankie blades. Basically, he put a new profile on it, as you can see here, he put his little logo on it, which is very tastefully done. There and then he put a patina on it which is crazy and then I threw away the micarta flakes and then he upgraded the hardware and he even patinated the clip so we'll talk about that here in a second. This here is the mayor. templeton in black i wish it was in texas tea but this one has been really amazing, i love the way it looks, i love all the cool angles it has, i mean look at that sexy mortal, the jump is amazing on this.
I'll talk about this here in a second in more detail. Currently, this is my key configuration. I have a smart key here for the house and mailbox keys. I have my Type R key there and I have my Ram Power Wagon key on. That's when I found this bad boy, I love it, take it off before the bench, I love that and this too because as you can see my desk is black, but when I have clutter on my desk, just having that red sticker there really helps . I find my keys when I look for them because if without that label you know it just blends together, I really like this a lot, it really helps me find them.
I'll be sure to include links below for that. Also, we'll go over belts more here in a second, but this is my blue edc alpha gear hybrid. We'll talk about how it fits and you know what my experiences are with this after about three years of using it here in One Minute, but I also have a new belt that we're going to talk about, this one is from Core Essentials and this is a new model that they just finished of throwing, so when we go over how all these weapons are hidden in my body. We'll talk more about belts, so the gun I've been carrying the most is my glock 19 gen 5.
Actually, believe it or not, this is the one I've been carrying and I've been carrying it with the OEM Hornady Critical Duty magazines and I've Been using this Shield Arms Mag extension. I love them, I've never had a problem with them, they're easy to install and I have a promo code 5 for you so just check that in the build list, but the gen 5 glocks, already you know, I said this in a video before that they don't need any modifications, the only reason the only modification I've made to this entire gun is the magazine and magazine. it's because this one has that half moon cut out, as i understand it, the gen five no longer have it, but this one i also have the apl enforce on dark flat land, as you can see, it doesn't match very well with the trigger it's absolutely amazing with you're pulling about four and a half five pounds.
I don't know why I'm lucky with glock triggers, that's my

setup

right now because on all my custom guns I'm always removing red dots or changing sights, and this "Okay, I'm going to dedicate you to being the unmodified gun that will be my carry weapon when my other carry weapons are out of commission, carrying it in the level one concealed shaft holster. I think this is the slim shaft, so I." I'll show you the normal axle and then they also got a new axle. I have to show you that it's crazy, so I have this one in blood red on the back.
I think it's blood red and then we have a gray on the front. with the red one here, you can disconnect this bungee cord right here if you want to use it as a single cover. I love these holsters so much that almost all of the holsters we're going to cover, except for one, are From level one concealed, I have the full sweat guard here. I sometimes forgot to mention that I need a full sweat guard and I got a half, but I really like this one before we look at the other sleeves. I wanted to show you two things that separate Level 1 Concealed from all the other holster companies I've experienced.
This case is molded as a lightweight case for the APL Compact. Now, this case here is molded for my MP with an APL Compact. This one doesn't have a compact APL right now, but as you can see, yeah, it doesn't hold the gun if there's no light on and I'm not, and we're going to talk more about that. this holster in a minute because I really like it, there's nothing wrong with the fact that I don't hold it without a light because it was made for a weapon with a light, but level one has some kind of shape. that shape them, so even without a weapon, light retention of 100, that's amazing.
The other thing that sets them apart is having the flexibility to move with the body, so that's the thin shaft. So we have the original axle boot here so you can see the difference. from this to this is the way this elastic cord is made, this is an elastic cord, it is not paracord for those wondering, it is elastic and I have this one for my vp9 check out this slide, I still have to make a video On that, bam, this was done by my friend at Slide Works, um engineering, he did a really good job, he put the holosol on, I still need to get some suppressed elevation sights and I got the tactical pontoon trigger, which is really good, I already have it . a video on that trigger if you want to watch it later I'll link it below so that's the original shaft.
So we have the original agus. Now the original agus was a little bit wide and the original shaft is a little bit wide so if When we come here you can see how wide these holsters are and the difference with this one is that this one has snap buttons instead of the paracord and you I'll tell you a little bit about my experiences with these snap buttons, but this one I think is emt red and then carbon fiber on the front, which I love, and this one is also the same way it's made for a compact APL, but you can see there's no light here, but I get 100 hold and I also have room for my primary. machine compensator so here comes the granddaddy of them, the new one, this is the Elite axle now, when they sent me this one, they weren't offering light weight bearing models, they may be offering light weight bearing models now, but I'm not 100 sure , so I have one that doesn't have a light support model and I have it in red carbon fiber, which is very sexy, very sexy, in fact, what makes this one different is that if you notice in all these cases that I have , I always ask for space for a compensator or space for a threaded barrel and then they end up making it longer, well this one is just open, which I prefer, I prefer that open design, so if I want to put a comp on it, I'll check it out.
You know, yeah, you just have to be careful when reholstering after shooting so it doesn't get too hot or if you have a threaded barrel, just thread it right through. The other interesting thing that is very different is how thin it is even in comparison. to the original thin shaft, so if we line them up right here, the entire outer piece is cut off and you can also see how much shorter it is. I have this one in the Sleeper 2.0 version that we made with great precision a while ago. I'll also link it below so you can check it out later, but this has probably been the most amazing case I've tried to date.
Now I just need a model with a light stand. This is what's interesting besides being shorter, you know how? like here, they have this wing that pushes the grip more towards you. Well, they have an integrated wing here to push the magazine closer to you for much better concealment. Also, I also have a slim shaft for my cz p01 omega. which we have here and then we also have one for the fn 509 509 tactical. This is also a lightweight model but it still retains the weapon, so let's jump up, see how all of these conceal themselves in all their glory.
I'm going to go over a little bit more about the knives and then I have another question I need to ask you besides what weapon configuration I should carry as a backup. Alright cool guys so let me show you how these things are concealed and So there's something else I want to ask you to help me with besides choosing which gun to carry or which one you would carry so first of all let's start with dandy glock practice 19. As I showed you this up close. It's the gen 5 sleeper build we made with the magnetic shield arms extension.
This would be a glock 19 with the mag extension plus 5. I also like this shirt because this shirt really shows a lot of shadows so if it has any type of printing you can see what it looks like you see a little bit there but let me adjust how I use actually my pants, that's how I would walk, you know, no one will really know, reach out, which honestly I have my shirts the right length so you know the gun is out of sight, but if you need to pull it, you have enough room to access it and it has a nice little click retention.
I love that the magazine doesn't do it. I have the click. I like the magazine click, but apparently a lot of holster companies are moving awayof that for some reason, so that's the elite axis with the glock 19.let's move on, let's take a look at the uh hk vp9. Now the interesting thing about the vp9 is that it's like the glock 19x so it has a full size grip and this one also has a magazine, well it's not a minimalist magazine. well it adds a lot to the print but let's see quick so if I was wearing it normally it's not that bad honestly I'd probably take the magazine off if I was going to wear it just because it adds a little. of protrusion there, but otherwise it's not bad at all and you can grab it present and ready so one is also really comfortable and this one has room for a threaded barrel, but as I mentioned on their newer holsters, just like that, they're just open, I don't need the barrel to be protected, I don't need the compensator to be protected and the reason I say that is I totally understand that you know if you're shooting a compensated gun like, for example, like this one, you want to know that you're protected if you go to reholster it, you don't send your nut hairs and honestly there's never been a time where I'm like bang bang bang bang bang enough to heat this up and then go back -holster it right away if I was on the range , just shooting through it, that can happen but I would just let it cool down a bit, reholster it and then go through a drill again, that's just me and then also if it's a daily carry setup if you're involved In some kind of incident and let's say you shoot with a full magazine at a bad guy who is trying to hurt you, you don't reholster right away, you reholster reluctantly and when you do you get a chance to reholster. , I'm pretty sure that won't burn you, that's just my theory.
I could be wrong now with this case. I've had some issues recently, in fact I've had this case for over a year. I don't know where my spare charger went, let me put one here. I normally have shield arms plus five here, but I can't find that charger right now, so this one hides like a dream. cz p10c, we have the trijicon rmr. Sitting on it is not a problem with these at all, so you can access it too. If you haven't seen this build series on this gun, I'll also link it below because I'm sure there are a There are a lot of new people on this channel who haven't seen a lot of this stuff, but the problem I had with this holster It did not arise when I was sitting, but when I was kneeling as if I were squatting. to try to grab something, what would happen is these buttons here, they would turn like this and then they would completely separate or they would just hang on a button and that has always happened to me twice since I started carrying something.
This happened last year and that was only when I squat or kneel very deeply, so if you're the type of person who likes to wear a cz po1 with the threaded barrel and magnetic extension, here's what this one will look like , so I asked. for room for a compensator because I didn't know if I was actually going to run a compensator on this or not I would love their camo colors their camo colors are to die for but here's the cz po1 honestly I'm probably not going to carry this. pistol i still don't feel comfortable enough with double action single action pistols to carry them yet but you get the gist so this one conceals like a dream not that bad here is the glock 19 with the original shaft and It definitely hides the best, I think. of all of these like my shirt can lift up it's okay I mean it's like these holsters were 100 designed just for the glock and I think that was on purpose because the owner loves glocks if you don't follow the owner's instructions .
Instagram page, I'll link it below. The guy is a magician. He can literally shoot water droplets as they fall from a drop into the air. He can also fire altoids in the air. He's crazy, but anyone he ever did that with, I think he was uh. I don't remember if he was an outgoing or agency glock. Now this is my m p 2.0 compact. I also have the full size. This case was made for the full size but also works for the compact with an APLC and/or light. A red dot if I ever choose to put one up.
The disadvantage of this case is that I don't have a light and it only works if you have light but it also hides super well, super comfortable. The only drawback is that this does not. I touch the concealments. I love these guys. They make phenomenal cases at a good price, but once you start losing yourself in the flexibility, it's very difficult to go back. It's the fn509. I was going to put the tactic here, but I didn't. Get this one, they didn't offer this one with room for a comp and I didn't feel like removing the tactical comp, but fn 509 put that in there, actually this holster matches this 509 a little better, so this is the original 509, this is not the mid size one, this is the full size model with the 24 round magazine that comes with the tactical, but there it is, you can see it and there you go.
I thought I'd check it out. the belts that I am currently using now my main preference for the belts that I use is this this is the blue alpha gear edc hybrid I have like three or four of these belts I have some that are not the hybrid I have some that are hybrids I have some with buckles plastic and I have always loved them what I love about them number one is especially with the cdc hybrid I love the gray gray is my thing but they have other colors I like the fact that it chooses your pant size so you don't really you measure your waist you're okay what size pants do I wear and you get it as your belt size and it fits every time the edc hybrid the main difference is in the the cobra buckle here is small enough so you can Pass it through your belt loops and tighten it.
I really always come back to this particular belt and that's just because you set it up for a size and now I work with it, obviously. I don't have a job where I have to dress up. You know, one of the benefits of working from home is wearing street clothes or no clothes, but I love these. I also have one of their tactical belts, but I don't have them. I still have things to put on it, so we'll do a video on the tactical belt in the future, but this one is probably the most used of all of them, the stiffness is still there and it still holds my weapons very well. and the belts and holsters will make or break how comfortable your edc setup is, which is why I can carry really decent sized guns, thanks to the holsters and belts I choose now if you're the type of person who dresses casually.
Do you want a tactical belt? I literally just got this one the other day. I've reviewed one of these belts in the past and I can't. I was going to try to find it so I could compare it but if you're a lady watching this video stop moving your husband's things because that's why I can't find the other belt because my wife likes to move things it's super annoying so that this one literally showed up as if I hadn't even asked for it. I didn't even get a notification that it was coming. These are the essential elements.
This is a new model of theirs called x6. I have to read this because it just arrived but I started using it the other day and I've already used the other one, I can't remember the name for a while and I'm so glad they sent me a gray belt because the last belt was black so It's nice to have a gray one. That is, no matter what size you order, you literally get a very long belt, it just comes off like this and then here you have these markings here. I had to cut this one a little bigger because on my last belt they gave me, I cut it a little too short.
The nice thing is that if you need replacement belts without the buckle, they offer that too, so I'll be sure to link it below on the Buckle x6 has a sort of honeycomb look to it. Some people may like it. I'm not a big fan. I mean, I could do without the honeycomb. I like the design of the belt buckle. Overall, the honeycomb just doesn't do anything for me. Nothing. against them just doesn't tickle my fancy now I have one or two cons about this belt configuration over essential belts in general and that is the overall width of the belt buckle so from the front it looks like the buckle ends here but There's actually a lot here that doesn't really apply to these level one concealed holsters because they're pretty well spaced as far as the dual clips go, it can be a little difficult to center your gun the way you like.
For example if your gun is too far to the right, if you are right handed the grip will start to stick out and you want to push it to the left, the problem is that it is so wide there is no room to adjust it so you just have to turn the belt to the side, but that defeats the purpose for me of having a sleek style belt. You know, if I want to turn a belt to the side, I'll turn my cobra belt; Otherwise these are fantastic belts. I've been using the other one for a while and I love them so the next thing I want to ask you is what would be the next knife you would like to see and carry with me every day and I can do that.
In the next video as an update, as I mentioned closely, I've really been enjoying this Templeton mayor. I don't know if they're still available or not, but they seem to pop up here and there in different places. I'll try. To find links for these and put them below, a couple of things I love about this Templeton quartermaster is the CPM steel blade. I love it, it's super easy to sharpen and holds an edge very well for quite a long time. Surprised by that, I mean, I shouldn't be surprised given it's still a good blade, but coming from kershaws and stuff, I was very impressed.
One of the things I always use to sharpen my knives is this type here, the spyderco. I think it's called the Triangle Sharp Maker, a really good little system. I love it because I'm not a fan of sharpening knives. I just want something that works, something that's quick, and something that I don't have to think about, like I'm holding the knife at the right angle to allow me to get a 35 or 40 degree angle either way. I'll throw a link below for you to learn more about this, but this has been an absolute lifesaver like a wet rock or something. which there are better systems but for me it works and now I love the other knife that I have been using and that I have probably talked about in a couple of videos is the spyderco yogi jimbo ii this one has been customized we have the micarta grips on there and it had this custom blade by frankie blades, as I talked up close a little.
I love the s30v steel blade on these, they hold an edge very well, they can be very, very, very sharp, especially using this one. Because it is a Spyderco knife, all blade angles are the same. The downside to this knife is that I dropped it twice, mostly when I first bought it. I dropped it a couple of times trying to take some stupid Instagram photos, like looking at my pocket trash can. um I broke the tip of this knife twice, the second time I broke the tip was after Frankie Blades customized it and you'll notice here this little how, back here, it goes inward, that's from having to reprofile the entire blade to make it look good again, so the downside to this is you have to be careful because that tip the first time was my fault.
I actually tried to pry something up the second time I dropped it, I don't know how. It does this because it is very difficult to patina stainless steel. It does some kind of copper type finish and you can see the patina that is turning green and red and all kinds of crazy things. I'll put a link to their Instagram page. so you can check it and their email address, it's not a big company, it has long wait times, just keep that in mind, but I love this, it's just that you want to use this to open light duty boxes and stuff like that is absolutely incredible.
This thing I can cut into trash cans. I can cut tough plastic with it and it doesn't seem to dull the other knife I like. It's microtech ultratech spartan. Now this one is. I have the uh, I went over this a little bit, it's got the copper foil and everything. I'll put it like this. I love everything about this knife except one thing and we'll talk about that in a minute. I paid around 300 for this knife because it's kind of a special order. There are actually two things I don't like about this knife, but we'll get to that.
I don't regret spending 300 on an ultra tech microtech because I had tried more. affordable otf knife options in the past and they disappointed me almost every time. Now I haven't tried them all. I haven't tried like ravencrest tactical and all those guys so I don't know much about them, however this one I'm in love with I love how it feels in the pocket. You know when you go to put it in your pocket you know it just hides. You know you're not sorry. It doesn't get in the way if you have your keys in your pocket and stuff like that, so with my keys, for example, as I showed you up close, I can just throw them in my pocket and it doesn't seem to interfere with my knife at all, whereas with these two it doesn't.
It doesn't matter which one of these knives just because they have a thicker profile, I feel like I have a lot more in mypocket now, the two disadvantages I have with this knife is number one, they don't allow you to take them apart, they come with a special tool that you can't buy to take this apart and repair it and that's how to keep the warranty the other thing I don't like about these knives is that if you want to keep the warranty you have to send them to be sharpened, which I haven't sent them to be sharpened yet because I'm busy, I just forget, so this one has the Bowler M390 steel, which is probably the best steel for blades for EDC, it stays sharper longer and I am absolutely in love with the blade steel, in fact it hasn't been sharpened in over a while. year I've been opening boxes with it and all kinds of stuff, so it's not going to be sharp, so if I try to cut this thing it's going to be horrible, like I have a little bit in there, let's see it works better than I thought. but you know, if I glue this, I see that sometimes it breaks, but it definitely keeps its edge workable, so if I need to cut boxes, for example, let's use this box.
If I need to cut this box down, I could just go. there and it will just go through it, so I really like Bowler m390 steel because the edge of the knife wears down over time, but its workable edge always remains intact. The other disadvantage of this is if you don't have micro technology sharpens this, it voids the warranty. The other downside to this is that a lot of people just don't like to sharpen these knives, apparently because of the way the edges are, they are hard to sharpen, so that being said, it's kind of a gucci knife because by the way, you have to take care of it, not because of the price, so if you are the type of person that just wants something, set it and forget it, I would suggest like a spyderco, your jimbo too or especially this guy here, mayor.
Templeton, but the question I want to ask you is what knife do you want to see in a future edc, what is something I should try that I haven't tried on this channel until now and lastly what weapon should I choose as my edc set. below or which one you would choose for yourself, let me know in the comments. I'll put up links and promo codes for all of this until next time guys, love you guys and keep being sexy.
