Whether you're completely new to Dangerous Elite or a veteran, whether you're solo or in a partisan mega squad, you'll likely want a base of operations that will likely be a full

for a multitude of reasons, the main one being having a centralized location to store most of your ships and modules, i.e. they have to be located somewhere now, there are many reasons to have ships spread out over a Few stations care if there is a lock or some reason why you cannot access your station safely.

Having something nearby that can pass through could help, although such a situation would be rare to say the least, more commonly having modules stored at various points of interest can make swapping between loadouts much faster through the bubble, like flying to the Pleiades using a travel gear only to switch to your antithyroid combat gear when you arrive and some people love to have certain ships stashed at distant stations as a colony for when they're out of that way, but for the most part commanders keep the most of their ships and modules in a place where they know they can find them.

Choosing a base of operations is an essential part of your game and your identity as a commander to base it on. your decision on points of interest, such as what constitutes a good base camp for exploration, mining or thyroid hunting. It can be your squad's playground. It may be a place where you have established excellent trade routes, such as for origin and return missions or even slave trade. it may have to be this way if you are aligned with a faction and a power play, like nanoman for hudson commanders, it may be soul because it's an excellent soul or because it has sentimental value to you or your commander's story or you just I like the way the system looks, but What I have found to be the most common reason for someone to choose a station is what it offers.

Factors include what types of ships and modules you have available and their prices. The type of market you have. The type of missions it produces and the types. Of the ancillary services it provides, such as access to material traders or black markets, here's my own list of the best stations. These are stations that I have considered

home

at some point or that I have seriously considered becoming my home at some point. I'm going to start my list of the best stations with by far the most popular station jameson and shinrata desra jameson. Jameson's claim to fame is that he has every ship and module available at all times and at a 10 percent discount this is crazy and every time I read patch notes I hope to see the border nerf this please , that the border does not weaken this, even with the discount apart from having access to what you want when you want, cannot be overly appreciated.

I know I can build a boat from scratch without having to look for it. a single module or travel anywhere and the prices won't even be bad, plus Jameson has other wonderful features. It is an important system in the tradition of the pilots' federation. It is very active, always full of players and has an excellent axillary system. Features like its own tech corridor, it's not far from the abandoned star and orbits a beautiful Earth-like world and is relatively close to almost everything in the bubble, including Seoul and anime, in a great centralized location. I should also mention that Jameson is currently my home station, as it is for most veteran commanders who don't have a very good reason to make their home elsewhere.
It has disadvantages; However, first and foremost, it is not available to you unless you have your permission. permission requires you to reach

elite

in some category or have been a booster, they don't let any rabble and shinra rabble unless you count all the non-elite npc ships that still somehow appear there and in Secondly, due to its popularity among veteran commanders and the large player population in general Shinrata is a very aggressive space, you are more likely to get ambushed here than anywhere else in the game. This can of course be avoided by flying in single mode, some commanders always playing in open mode.
They sometimes make Shinrakta Desura their only exception simply due to the sheer amount of traffic and pain they experience every time they try to return home and dock, this brings us to the next notable home station, the Isola Prospect planetary outpost in the planet bresla a1 and bresla. system there aren't many viable home stations left on the planet, which is a shame. I really enjoy planetary landings and going to the planet in general and I think it's cool to live in a real world where you can physically go out and drive there, it's a no-brainer. The downsides to this are that it takes much longer to land here than on an Orbis station and it takes longer to exit, especially if your target system is on the other side of the planet, forcing you to de-orbit and exit orbit.
Gravity long before you jump, but Isola Prospect aims to make up for this by offering the same amazing feature that Jameson offers access to all the ships and modules in the game, all in one place, 24/7. And better yet, it doesn't require you to be elite in anything you just have to have the horizon expansion that you should have anyway, as it allows for planetary landings which are awesome, but there's another downside: it doesn't have the 10 percent discount that it does. Jameson, in fact, goes in the opposite direction and has a 20% profit margin in To compensate for all these available ships and modules, making this your home will cost you not only time but also credits in the long run.
Still, if I didn't have access to Jameson, I would find this station very attractive as having access to everything at once spoils you and may be worth the credits and wasted time from the planetary landing sequences ray gateway diagram due to Its political climate and corporate ownership Ray Gateway often runs a 15 percent discount on the entire station, a better discount than even Jameson, but that's just the initial Ray Gateway is close to its abandonment star, it has material merchants and while it doesn't have all the ships and modules it's usually pretty well supplied, in any case what puts it over the edge are its local bounty hunting opportunities and its player. culture based is a popular system with a rich history and fighter pilots in particular seem to gravitate around dioguandry when I join my combat heavy friends for bounty hunting or pvp it often starts with me plotting a route to dig dirty laundry and meet there.
I'm here, buddy, outside the station, a little quiet, yeah, I'm going to come by now, are you where you are?, buddy, I'll be a second, I want, I'm going to take my guns from you, son, don't do that near the station . Although the station will be bombed, wouldn't you be the costliest mistake I've ever made, will you be my cousin, brother, Abraham Lincoln? Seoul, I have to point out Seoul because it's a very popular system outside of the permit requirement, people love to visit. the cradle of humanity and see your favorite real life planets, for this reason the soul explodes with life from the player base and as such attracts the attention of all kinds, including those involved in pvp gankers anti power games -gankers completist explorers and merchants some

elites Players bought the game just so they could unlock it and visit Seoul.
I've used Soul primarily for Hudson Power Play options and of course for trade missions. The many stations around the system have very lucrative opportunities if you have allied with them to create this one. one of the best systems in the game for doing origin and return wing trade missions and of course hacking and ambushing the people doing said missions. I chose Lincoln for this list as the de facto central station here, but it could be High Mars or really any major one. station, i personally prefer lincoln for this listening tree, jocks station cologne of all rights jocks is a very solid station with everything great, but the reason why it is on this list is because it is famous and because of the location that the made famous for a long time. the furthest station from the bubble and developed an entire community around it is a second bubble more than twenty thousand light years from the first is the new world the frontier the virgin snow whatever you want to call it miners and explorers came here with dreams of becoming rich and famous or simply enjoying the struggle of building a new bubble, it has since grown and stabilized becoming a more viable and comfortable long-term living option, but remains the frontier experience worthy of the best explorers.
Your home and community can serve as a base camp. For deep space explorations, you're right next to the prolific galactic core and much closer to Beagle Point and the distant edge of the galaxy. Is this the life you want? If this is the life you want, consider Jock Station or one of the other stations. in colony as your home, but keep in mind that you may be effectively isolating yourself from your friends who stay in the bubble explorer anchorage a good hop away from the supermassive black hole at the center of the sagittarius galaxy a star is the anchorage of the Explorer This is a solid solitary station built for explorers and tourists.
It may not be the best base station if you intend to do much beyond deep space exploration or mining, but it is a special place that a dedicated explorer of the galactic body might want to call home if you don't. I intend to play a lot of Bubble Commanders and you can also say that you are homeless right next to the supermassive black hole, which is really cool and scary. Hackworth's jamison orbital ethos aside, I consider Hackworth Orbital to be my commander's original home. I imagine he is from there, the initial reason. In my dangerous elite career I used it extensively for the great trade routes I found there, as well as how well it served as a base for road to riches expeditions and how cool I thought the system and its planets looked to my surprise.
Hackworth is considered to be the home of many other commanders. He is mentioned often. It seems I wasn't the only one to recognize his value. No station would make me prepare for war faster than Hackworth would if I were ever attacked by thyroid. and I doubt I'm alone in that fight. Part of what makes Hackworth special is its unique political climate. He is in what is generally an Amina-controlled system, making it Imperial and rife with Imperial slaves for sale, but Hackworth is a heavily Federal station. Federal, he feels like they are challenging, surrounded by the culture of the enemy.
One of the best trade routes out of Hackworth is to take those Imperial slaves off station, which you can buy cheap and sell in nearby systems for a substantial profit. This is one of the best stations to frequent the early game if you don't mind getting your hands dirty, so that's my list of notable houses, but there's no shortage of options, especially when you consider that the Power Play lineups are beautiful sights, Which one is your house? system and why let me know in the comments. I would like to create a much larger collection of base stations that commanders frequent and could do a follow up video going over those other options that you guys have if you would like to see.
