Building the MAGNUM DODGE WONT | 500HP 6 4L 392 SCAT PACK WAGON PT12

May 01, 2020
What's going on guys, welcome back to the channel, so today we are working on Magnum. Many people love Magnum videos. I love Magnum videos. This is very close to being able to run and drive and all that, but we have one. situation, so I've been doing the middle wing to mount the camera and it's taking a little longer than I expected. The reason it's taking so long is that I use plaster as a filler material and when you make it very thick it takes a long time to dry, so now we have the last layer of plaster on the wing.

It's a pretty thin layer, so this should be dry tomorrow. You could come here, block the entire bottom of the wing and then hit it with a little bit. a little bit of filler to make the mold, once the molds are made we take all this stuff out of the car and we could take it to the dealership to do the alignment and I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to ask them to do but I'm going to ask them to do a Smooth alignment and I also need to mount this sensor right here it goes here so I'm going to mount it there and once it's mounted I could put the fender liner on the other side as well.

More Interesting Facts About,

I need to cut a hole with a hole saw and I need to connect that evacuation cable to the fuel filler nozzles so we can do all that. Once this is done, we will be ready for alignment. I'm also going to install the rear struts. the back because I haven't put them on yet and I'm also going to bleed the transmission like I did with the Hellcat. I have leftover training fluid from the Hellcat. I think the Magnum is going to need a lot less because it didn't leak much. because it wasn't like the Hellcat. I didn't replace the cooler or anything like that.

I just disconnected the lines, it leaked a little. I just finished putting air in the tires. I put 45 psi all the way around where I am. What I'm going to do now is pull the car forward, put it on the lift, raise it about three feet, then put it on jack stands, do the rear struts and then bleed the transmission, the Bilstein shocks are now in the rear, what I'm going to do now. is to remove the rear bumper, why if the tail lights wore out the rear parking sensors/collision avoidance sensor? I thought I was actually going to have to put Riv nuts on the body of the Magnum until I came out here and realized this thing is actually bolted on. with about eight mils, 8 or 10 mils, so what I'm going to do is unscrew this and it will bolt right into the Magnum.

This is incredible. I was worried about having to rivet this, but now that I know it's screwed together, it's a huge relief. As you can see, that bracket bolted right there and that little module you just posted, the bracket module is now mounted and all the clips are clipped into the parts store. I'm going to buy a filler pump or the lower court once since you only have a liter of fluid, the bigger you won't have enough fluid to fill the pump and then fill the pump, now let's go back to the workshop and fill that axe, we're in the passenger side of the transmission and you can Look at the drain plug on the bottom, the filler plug is right there at the top, what I'm going to do is undo the filler plug, get in the car, do the procedure transmission and then come back here, unscrew it, fill whatever you need to fill. into the stream and then plug the plug back in and we are ready to start streaming.
I think the procedure is something like this: hold the brakes, put it in reverse, hold it for five seconds while still holding the brakes, put it in reverse. drive, hold it for five seconds and then release the brakes, put it in second gear and then put it in neutral, increase the engine rpm to 2000 for five seconds and then hold the brakes, make sure you hold the brakes because the wheels they will still be spinning, make sure the wheels come to a complete stop looking, then put it in park, after that you can go under the car, add the fluid until it's gone, it drips out of the hole, put the plug back in, tighten it and ready.
Wow, funny, the transmission is now full on the Magnum, so I'm one hundred percent done with the transmission, everything is buttoned up, both coolant and oil, full, we're ready for the alignment racks, so once That this wing is dry, I'm actually quite. I'm glad it's nice and warm and sunny today because it seems like the sun is drying all the plaster a little faster so maybe we can finish this wing mold tomorrow, once it's done I could take care of it or I . I could schedule the alignment, take over and align the Magnum and then we could drive it.
I just finished wiring the plugs for the tail lights on the Magnum. What I ended up doing was deepening the Challenger taillight sockets by pulling them through the grommet and then extending the driver's side wiring (the passenger side wiring was perfect). I just changed the plugs on the Magnum plug challengers. I'm not exactly sure if they will work or not because I can't plug them in without being able to remove the bumper. The problem is that the Challenger came with LED taillights, the Magnum only has halogen taillights or just normal bulbs, so I'm not exactly sure if it will affect anything, but everything is wired like it was on the Challenger, so we should be Good with the headlight situation.
I haven't made a decision yet. I'm really on edge. I really don't want to cut these headlights because they are very pretty. I could sell them. I could do something with them, but at the end of the day, they're only worth about $200 each, and at the end of the day, if I don't have the headlights and turn signals hooked up on the Magnum by the time the wing mold is ready and I need take this to get a line, those headlights are cutting out and we're going to modernize something on these Magnums, but for now you know I have a few more days.
I think the wing should have the mold done tomorrow or the next day. So we'll just play it by ear and go from there, but I also need to be able to remove the bumper once the wing is done so I can plug in the tail lights and then attach this harness for parking. eight sensors so I don't know we're just waiting in the wing it's a bit complicated but I hope everything comes out and works well once it's done I can have a place to mount the camera that's really the reason behind do It was because there wasn't a very good option and I think this is my style, so a lot of people don't like it, but I really like how the wing flows with the car, it kind of looks. from the side to the back it's not too big and it's very, very subtle and I think it flows with the car, but I'm in the video here, it's going to be a very short Magnum video just because there was a There were a few things I had to do, but no There were a lot of them, so if you like these videos, be sure to click the subscribe button.
