Jun 03, 2021
Hey guys, okay, before I start this video, I just wanted to explain what these videos are. Basically, I had an online subscription service for education called Jessica. I've talked about it here on YouTube a little and a lot. on Instagram and I actually decided to cancel it a couple of weeks ago because I didn't feel inspired on YouTube after doing that, I felt like I didn't have content to post here anymore and I honestly hated that people paid for it because I'm passionate about giving free education , that's how a lot of people found me and it's one of my biggest passions so I decided to cancel Jessie Hated and I'm going to focus more on doing hair education on YouTube again, but I did it.

Alright guys, so leaving the extensions in is very important. This is the first step to prepare for success in our certifications. We talk about

different

locations for

different

clients. No two heads are the same and each type of hair requires a different type of placement and that is something we will go over today. I'm going to make a mini horseshoe right here. Horseshoes are really great to use in extensions because they match. the shape of the head and will give your client a really natural look once the extensions are in so today we're going to do all three types of weft and then we're also going to add some tapes for filler so this will just give you a preview of everything what we have to offer here at Jay-Z Styles.

Okay, in this first row we're using our thick hair method. In our certifications we have two different accounting methods. We teach that one is a thick hair method and the other is a fine hair method and I'm doing this first row on the thick hair method to show you what it looks like. I'm using our beading tool aligned with our beads that we sell and then we're also using the full jv styling kit. This extension kit is amazing because it literally has all the tools you will need. If you earn any of our certifications, whether online or in person, you will receive this kit and we also sell everything you.
You may need to do extensions in the future, such as beads, thread clips, needles, tape remover, all those beaded wefts are a very popular technique and we offer three different types of wefts in our hair extensions line and we teach you how to place each of them in our certifications, so the first west we offer is a machine that remains, we also have a cozy network and a hand-tied network. These wefts are great for different reasons and we like to believe that extensions are not one size fits all and it is really great to have knowledge in all of these different types of extensions so we can give each client the best for their individual needs.
The first plot we are going to work with is a machine plot. This weft is really great for thicker hair. I usually don't recommend it for finer hair because it's a little bit more voluminous on top, as you can see here, we stacked two machine nets here and now we're going to start the sewing process. Okay guys, so we just sew. Hand tight wefts in the second row we did the fun hair method, we did three strands and in the first row you guys saw me using a darker thread, that was just because I wanted you to visually see the contrast with the blonde hair. but now I'm using a string that matches the color of the weft.
It is very important when doing extensions to always use the correct color of cord and rope and you can see how this all comes together perfectly and is starting to look really good. Now let's move. In the last row, which is a cozy plot, I'm going to make a mini row to show you the importance of filling the density pockets with a mini row. Well, we just finished that mini line. I made the cozy left right. here the cozy weft is exclusive to our line and it's amazing, it's a latex band so it lays very flat against the head, it has a unique sewing pattern so if you're a stylist interested in offering cozy wefts, really I recommend you take our class and get gz certified because you need to learn how to efficiently sew the cozy weft okay guys so your wefts are finished and as you can see here she has a little bit of shedding of her natural hair, um if your client does.
We have to add tapens in the front is a very good way to complete that, not all clients will need it but we like to do this on clients who do need it because it makes the tavens much better also usable for a full head . extensions as well, but this is what we call the combined method, it's wefts and tapes together, so what I'm going to do is I'm just going to pull up her wefts and I'm just going to place the teepins where I feel like she needs them specifically. There's really no rhyme or reason or set pattern, it's just where you fill in her hair.
