Feb 27, 2020
Hello guys, welcome back to Lagari products. We have another really cool video for you today. We really hope you enjoy it. We worked hard on these videos. We try to show you as much information as possible without being boring. Enjoy. We are back on guard. The guys are going to do another cool

countertop

coding project. They built these counters with wood. They made plywood on top. They made a trimmed board edge, so we got about an inch and a half edge. They did all this here. They already cut out their sink and as you can see we covered everything with plastic, they pretty much have it ready for us to show up and start coding.

They filled all the seams, grabbed the back edge here, and They're doing stuff with the subway tiles, so we're not really worried about the tape on the back. Here we're going to do the primer now and we're going to get ready to apply some

epoxy

to it so that they look kind of amazing looking, amazing. granite, who knows what we're going to do right now, we don't even know. I would say guys roll down the middle and then roll back across, it's much easier to spread it out and then get there by doing subway tiles, so not worried about having some things on the wall, you have to fill these nail holes, okay, Savvis always make sure you know these nail holes, especially on the front edge, we're going to have to fill them with something to cover them, definitely not necessary. we want nail holes in our front edges something is going to cross roll my bill we put it right in the middle again don't run around the edges to sell i recommend if it's your first time kissing roy basically so you get a little bit more of experience, you can use your roller like a squeegee, start spreading it out and cover a lot more ground like this.

More Interesting Facts About,

The reason we don't go over the edge is because it's so fluid right now that it will just run off and drip. the floor and you want to spread it all out before you do it again, we're doing subway tile so the back doesn't really matter if we apply it there with a nice even layer or in the other places so I've got a little bit more here I'm going to grab the bucket. I can see that it's already thicker than the counter we just made, so I want to take a little jump from here and I'll add a little bit to the end of the counter, I don't want them all to be the same thickness or close to where our designs are going to be. be equal.

I tend to see how forgiving it is to lug these things around if you have to carry them somewhere for a bit. a little bit of that in the bucket, you have a dead spot somewhere, go find some somewhere else to put it in the bucket, spill the dead spots. I'm going to throw this here so there are no bubbles, perfectly smooth like glass vinyl, yes We'll go through everything very quickly, we'll start taking it to the edge, they'll sell, we do it now, you'll get my edges. I have all this. She will roll it up at the top running over its edge as you can choose the type of material. hit right on this edge, pull it back a little bit.

I'm not sure there's much material that can be poured over that edge while I do my reflections, swirling and shaking any bubbles that might be below the surface. there, I'm glad we got it, do the same thing here, a little bit of material on my edge, push it back and then all that will flow, notice how sloppy I'm doing this, you don't have to be nice. I'm not going to hurt him. I will do that. I will make these edges last and more finished. I don't want to have a bunch of stuff like the duster didn't bring on my roller, so I'll do it last and go ahead. your

silver

highlights, so we're going to make our

vein

technique

super

simple

, that's what you wanted, but this time I'm going to make bigger

vein

s, so I'm going to get my design doing the same thing as you. normally I would throw them on my edges and there is a lot of coverage there that doesn't want the color to flow.
This is really good. All I'm doing is getting our designers and I'm going to go back and add a bunch of color to it, but like I say in all the videos, if you don't have any material to make that flow because this is going to continue to flow until it gets hard, you're just going to have

black

there as long as As we add additional material here that can flow continuously and they're just going to bring out that

silver

with the next little trick that works amazing and even in the spots where you don't have a vein you just add a little bit of color, she gets up. to their back walls they want it to look like it sinks under water everywhere we get comments all the time why don't they leave it yes this looks great but some of what you want we will make a video for you where we left it Did they ask you that all the time they want us to take this stuff out and just leave it, but again, this is for the customer, it's kind of a charity deal, we don't charge for this, we just do this to help? they remodeled their house watch how we waited we did the base coat and immediately added the highlight coat you don't want to wait in between you want to do your base coat spread it and then add the highlights right after and then we're going to start spinning it and blending the colors, yeah, it looks very, very stinky, so I'm going to do it, there are two different ways you can do the veins, you can roll with your vein, right bad with all the veins. and then turn in the middle I'm just going to do the

simple

st part I'm just going to turn the entire counter, make my edges as I go, turn a little on the top and then do the edges, it doesn't take much more turn it, The more it will be one color and it will look like the color disappeared, but you will see much more silver again.
A system starts to marble trying to do the same thing on all your counters. You do not want. you know, wait, take a smoke break or take a phone call and try to come back and hope everything matches up, just don't stop once you start and they look identical. See you on that, make sure you do everything. different directions you want to keep spinning the same pattern over and over and then a different one comes out there you just want to be random with it notice I'm going fast, you don't have to go fast, I just showed you that it doesn't It doesn't have to be, you know, delicate with him, you're not going to hurt it, so we're not going to try the top seam or I'm going to roll these edges in the way that you can start to flow and now we'll just wait.
You can see it's already happening on it and the heads like silver are already starting to flow over that edge, that's what everything is going to start doing everywhere, so we're going to come show you what this looks like in about 10 to 15 minutes. to see. what these edges will start to look like. I hope you spent about half an hour and 45 minutes. Our edges look good, but I want to add a little more silver here and there, so I'll just grab my brush that I already dipped. in

black

and we've reached the other edges, but now I'm going to take some of my silver from the bottom of the container here and it doesn't take much, all you need to do is figure out where you are.
I want to put it in and do some little touches like that and get a little bit more of this edge here and then everything we're going to do took it at an angle. I just breeze through it. I'm applying a little pressure. of an angle planing is if I make it straight it is going to remove the material, if I do it like this it will start pulling the material, we don't want to pull the material we just want to flatten it so always go to The angle goes very slow, apply a little bit of pressure and if you have to blend it a little bit better, blend it and then do your final pass, that's how you can make your edges look really good with the top, you'll see that everyone is already sick, it's like a really mark , yes, you always want to stay, make sure you have a little bit of color left and you can.
I can even remove the color from things that drip onto the plastic to make sure it doesn't get too much dust and All we're trying to do is just get the color on the edges that are on top. Guys, I want to note how smooth the glass turned out. We didn't bring any chemicals. We didn't burn it completely. We're just going to fix it, we're going to apply our urethane top coat to this, it's going to be high gloss, so with a little bit of texture, that's what gives it durability, we have a top coat of enamel, it's going to look like this, it's our top coat. flood. a top coat that leaves the glass smooth, that's an option if you want this glass the way it looks, they're definitely a lot more durable and more scratch resistant so we're getting ready to put it on now.
I'll show you that process. Alright, so be prepared to apply top coat every time you use a hair roller, a hair fiber roller, which was one of these? Best tape to use as packing tape, like the one they use on my packages or yellow painter's tape. I like it. I like to screw it. so, it's just supplies, but I like to make quite a few strips, I really roll it up and leave it pretty and it comes off that way, we're not losing any loose hair on the top coat and if you're doing our polish coat, a top coat that gets thick, you want to use a foam roller, squeegee, paintbrush.
I even applied our coat of polish with the paint stick report, so you don't want to use a nap roller or nap roller. when you're applying our thick top coats because the last thing you want is to have some hairs, it's so easy that yeah and you would roll this up. We didn't bring our tray today, so I'm going to soak this rolling pin and this. I'll probably go up this whole top here, it's well designed to be very slim. Sorry about the lighting, they are doing a remodel. This is an older house so always remember to turn the bead crosswise and I'm moving fast.
What I'm trying to do now is get this top coat even though I don't care about the roller lines but nothing really quick, get everything spread evenly and then do my final passes after everything has spread nicely and even so. super easy product to apply, you just want to work fast, put it on too thin, you'll get roller lines and I'm just guys, I'm working fast, you don't want to go slow, you know, like that, there's no, there's no point. you're not going to ruin it, roll it up quickly, put the material in if you have

epoxy

drips, you can Samba before applying the top coat, now I'm happy with the way it presents well and even I.
I'm going to make my final passes. I will always have the metal end of the roller base facing that direction. I'm going. Alright. A little recoil is very light. You don't really want to make a section bigger than this. if these were sailors another 10 feet long, I would do this and not work on the next section. I would extend this first and smooth it out and then finish the next section, it was that simple. I won't continue that here, we'll do the same thing and again, no, I'm not trying to cover this all at once. I may have a little too much here, so what are we going to do?
I'm going to cook these little guys with it, let it peel off a little bit on my rolling pin, go get a little bit more out because you want this on the pin, this is going to give you extreme durability, extreme scratch resistance, it's just a top coat. amazing what all our contractors do. Put it in all your fluoride and water-based products, so it's perfect for this indoor application. Now I'm going to extend this. Notice how fast I'm working. I'm not worried about the roller lines because we're going to get through. and touch up all that so you can get through the waste quickly and all I'm doing is the section I'm on.
I'm not trying to get past this area. The smaller sections you do have less tension, lift your head so the air stays constant now. I went back and noticed how we removed all the plastic and just taped anywhere to the roller that I hid because the material is not really a messy product and now when we're done we can just remove these few tapes. places and we're done with the project weekend, we want the next one, the reason we would have to come back is maybe if you wanted to get some photos of the tiles and everything finished, see how this is happening.
It's not designed to be a thick layer so it's extremely durable so since I stopped there I don't want to work backwards that way. I want it to spread pretty well. I don't want to soften this edge once it's rolled. I'm starting to set up, so I want to finish this edge by blending it in before I continue, what I'm going to do is just take it off, lift it up, and lift it up. There they shoot. I don't want to start and stop points, take home working around it 90 degrees here 70 degrees, you don't want too much heat in the house, that will pick up speed until once you're done with the edges, you don't have a lot of material.
I've been rolling so just go over the counter real quick, even with the roller you can see how nice it is to start the design, it still has that high shine and it will lighten up, it has a milky white look. You can tell where you've coated it, but if I come here, this will probably be all over already, yeah, so it still has a little bit of milk in it, but it'll be perfectly fine.Of course once everything is dry. Remember, guys, what we have. a matte finish top coat a satin or matte finish we like to call it super cool comes off the surface makes it more of a home color Hi guys, thanks for watching the video.
