welcome to good morning new york how are you? Thanks, well, the program is very fun. Just, is it based on your real life or do you know that? Yeah, no, it's definitely based on my life, but it's a Frank is the character I play, he's an amalgamation of everyone's dad in the writers room and he's an old school dad, like when I was a kid, you had him scared of your dad, like he knocked down the driveway, he came in the front door, we all ran out the back door - your dad comes home at that moment, yeah, absolutely, so it's more of that era, It's not this you know, the era now where your kids are like their dad's friends, I was like a weirdo, not in a bad way, I just knew that when he came home, let's put yeah, your behavior , we should turn off the TV and pick up books, pretending to be like reading, and I remember that you still like it.

You know, if he was in church, he'd make the loudest click and if you guys were too loud, he'd do that and everyone would shut up and then you knew you'd get it later, you mean, get it, you know it's funny. You go on stage, you talk about topics that are a little bit taboo, but you make them very, very funny, so your Christian background is part of the shower, yes, and I wanted to talk to you about Jesus afterwards, well, I mentioned it the other day. People thought maybe you went too far, you know? Well, they thought maybe you were being disrespectful to the Christian religion, which is why I'm telling you to go, oh my gosh, did you feel respectful or just you? you were just having fun with some of the crucifixes and stuff like that.

More Interesting Facts About,

I don't even know what you had. I mean, maybe we made two jokes about it. Yes, exactly, don't you think the Catholic Church went too far? my caricature and listening full of jokes. I know this is a morning show. You can't mention all those crimes. You know what technologists just kept moving them? You know, like those orcas at SeaWorld that kill a trainer. then move him to Seattle, they don't give them his background. I totally DO NOT follow it, but I don't know what I'm talking about, it's a morning show, I get it. Hey, that boy was mr. graduation and then they told us a feel-good story that we want to leave if you want to feel good about America, you watch the morning show so you don't see this, you know, and we joked before if the kids' story about graduation was late.

That night would have been a completely different story. What do you think is still missing? We can't find it. All we found was his hat. When you look in the morning, it's great. All went well. He got his own personal ranking from him as if I were in such. in a very good mood, they turn yellow, these sofas are like the sun, so it's for the family. I mean, it's really politically incorrect before politically incorrect was even a term, yeah, and I think you know a lot of that stuff you said before. Taboo topics, it's like nothing I really talked about, it's not that people aren't talking about all this stuff, it's just that it's kind of the way people talk when they go on stage or something, but no.

It is typical of you. You know people, people laugh because they're already talking about it, so it's no big deal, we all have dark thoughts sometimes, but you go there in public and you do it even though it's nervous, you somehow do it sure in some way, yeah, well. What is going to happen? I'm just talking. It's not like I'm not doing anything and I'm like, I'll tell you, although I did stand-up here two shows last night and I can't believe the crowds in New York now why that's like that. oh oh, they would join an actor, yeah, I remember when I moved here in '94, I was looking into Alphabet City, we take your life in your hands and it was like addicts and stuff, so it's a lot harder. that like even impress people and now I mean, no, I don't know about the good old days again anyway, you know, they're not even called Lafitte City anymore, you know we all take the Lower East Side stuff. gentrification, whatever has been so offensive to illiterate people, the family, obviously, Netflix and the people who watch it love your show.
If we could find a clip that we could clean up, we got something, we got a couple of beats, just the intro song, Burger Wizard again, why not? Mom

makes

dinner, ask her that she was the one who left her job so she wouldn't do all the lady work. I have to leave to do a man's job and there will be someone who will bring me flowers and tell me I'm beautiful, no, no, she's out there marching. for old Frank Murphy, he simply watches the sands of his miserable life pile up at his feet while his wife, the modern woman, puts on a pantsuit.
I would be in mourning and there is my job. This guy really talks good things to me. Archie Bunker is a bit. Rest, yeah, what I mean is that era and when we were into the '70s, we wanted it to look like I remember the '70s, where Hollywood always

makes

it look like everyone had a lava lamp and dressed like Ron Burgundy, this is more like the sort of Rust Belt Serpico from the 70s. I think you know every time you see a movie about the 70s, everyone has a 70s car, it was like you know people didn't have money, they would have a car from the '60s, so if you look, there are a lot of them, that's one of my favorite things to choose what car they're going to have, like Frank drives like an old Ford Galaxy S type car before Ford writes to them, they go overboard , everyone goes overboard when they are.
Going retro, well, they make it seem like when the Pacer came out everyone thought it was a pretty car, it was a weird car with the big window, yeah, my mom, my mom looked at it, it was the ugliest piece, you know? What I've ever seen in my life, but they made it seem like everyone in the '70s had like a lava lamp and thought it was a cool car, so Bill, do you Google it because I was Googling the show? Oh God knows? I was Googling “they broke me enough” on Twitter, what do you know? when I did this show last night, that's how I think Millennials are right.
Someone was using the exact same thing. You know, I'm on tour, so I get a good stain on my shirt, so I was wearing the exact same thing. I went on Twitter and someone wrote, you know, Bill Burr last night dressed like an out of shape Jerry Seinfeld, what's up, yeah, I wrote but I can't say what I wrote. back I realize you did it and something yeah it's like why don't you interrupt me when you're there, but why everyone, Rafi, online, that's not in your face? I see what exactly this is about New York in the past, I was walking on stage someone said that and I would have had to fight my way out of it and it would have been a difficult set and this person is all so covert now I feel bad because by the way you are torn eh, you know?
Pretty good way, but why respond to someone who is being negative to you on Twitter because it's funny? I like to come and go and then you can usually see well, this is my deal, if you really have a photo then I will go. Back and forth, but if you just have that little egg there, like those you have, you know two followers, then those people it's like you come up with it or whatever to tow, you just walk around in the trash, move towards me, That's kind of cowardly, but like. You know, if I can see you, you know, and you're out of shape, maybe you know you're ugly or something, I'll go right to it.
By the way, I will become very childish growing up with the mother or the airbrush and the dad, yes, where did it go? I grew up outside of Boston, Massachusetts, the safe suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts, since Good Will Hunting, everyone thinks you know you grew up in Southie and you stole cars and you ask people about Appletini and he did that too. Let me ask you the Christian Bible, no one got over Southie back then, like I'm just saying he wasn't, you know, he was more of a normal dead-end street hockey guy, you know, Filbert is Family on Netflix.
Right now he would be a little more comfortable with some trash around the studio. True, he misses the old New York and you're not the only one. Eat those religious people who got upset. I want to question them. Well, we'll talk. Why did I mention that? Why did you bring it on the morning salsa show? It's supposed to be easy. You know what happens at nine. Everything turns into daytime, so I have more license. Bill. Bert, thank you, thank you.
