day of school i wonder if i'll like it right away i loved cornell ghoulish right away it will be so school i wish i knew it seems i got a little carried away that's better i can't be dreaming because i can't i can't sleep why don't i keep thinking about my first school day oh it's going to be super dee duper school is so much fun i guess so but i'm not sure well that's because school is new and everyone is wondering what's something new going on to be like them i keep hoping school will be funny like eating corn on the cob you were just pretending it's true i used my imagination sometimes imagining new things makes it easier to try so i can imagine what school will be like you know?

It's like I was telling my friends the other day with your imagination you can go anywhere and do anything close your eyes and you'll find that there are pictures in your mind things you can see and think all those things are very real no matter where you are fantasy and there you are you can be almost anywhere when your imagination takes you there imagine you're a block of cookies not a cuckoo clock it's a bird it's what you're bound to and you can be anything you choose imagine imagine just be sure you never you lose who's to say it ain't so come on I'm slipping that's a hay shot no it ain't it's what they say it is does it matter where you are? take your imagination away i can imagine going to school but i'm still not sure it'll really be like this tomorrow and that's what makes it an adventure actually the first time you try something new it's an adventure can you remember some of the same?

I talk to them and feed them just the right amount of fish food that I see and once a week my dad helps me change their water oh I can tell you are doing a very good job it almost looks like your fish are smiling they are ok you need to use your imagination you know i saw a lot of happy animals just the other wow well my friends and i visited a beautiful farm in the country and the farmer had so many animals i could barely count them all really he had many many many animals everywhere it must be a lot of work to take care of so many animals oh it is but you know the farmer was a little boy once and I'm sure it was a real adventure for him when he had your first pet, oh, there's a lot to think about, thanks, barney, that's right. think hard caring for animals is hard work they need to be fed they need a safe place to play and they need a lot of love would you like to meet a very special animal for the first time like this captain hello margo hello how are you? and she has a frill called a kangaroo.

She would love me. feel her tail it's the first time you pet a kangaroo i think it's the first time when she was a baby that it stayed inside a pocket or a bag in her mother isn't it true when kangaroos are born? they're about the size of a grape wow and they stay in that pocket where it's nice and safe that's right captain actually they stay in the bag until they're big and strong enough to get out and then they start hopping around from their first jumps i guess there is a first time for everything its not there hey guys look i found my i cant wait to buy the new goldfish im going to take care of him and goldie every day i will help take care of them too you know what to take care of pets is so important everyone should help you in turns yes let's take care of our pets our hamsters and bunnies and turtles our fish and frogs and our cats and our dogs let's take care of our pets let's take care of our pets let's take care of our pets let's take care of our pets our fishing and the prawns and our cats oh look at all these pretty things i think teddy likes your school supplies sorry teddy the first day of school is just for kids like me there will be a lot of kids i dont know well that will be another part of your adventure the first time you meet new friends but there will be a whole room of them oh ok not long ago i went. to a very fancy restaurant hello how are you oh happy i'm sure oh there were a lot of people i didn't know but i decided to make them all new stand up friends oh there would be milkshakes so what snow would that be lemon drops and gum drops what rain would that be standing outside with my muffin if all the rain related drops and gumdrops then what rain would it mean if all the raindrops or lemon drops and gumdrops so what rain would that be oh standing outside with my mouth wide open the raindrops we'll aim with jelly beans a rain of water that would hold water rain that would rain sounds like you had a lot of fun at barney's fancy restaurant oh i made your creation- i think the tea is delicious thank you can you remember the first time you went to a new restaurant sure i can the first time i went to a chinese restaurant i tried to eat with chopsticks that was an adventure and how was it oh well can you remember another first barney how about my first roller coaster ride? traveling on a plane but it wasn't anything like that just on a plane that's the first time it really is an adventure first we were really fast on the ground and we were flying above them it was super deep yeah super deep boy i heard you got on a plane yeah you were scared uh a little scared yeah and then what happened um i got used to it you got used to being on the plane yeah did you eat peanuts on this plane? peanuts in the spread peanuts in a sprite yeah it's kinda funny you know a plane don't you? yes, did you see a movie on the plane? yeah you liked it i had the lane like this to see before i got a plane for the first time you were scared then you flew then you weren't scared anymore would you get on a plane again now yeah you'd do it right i got brave on my second plane because i knew nothing was going to pass your attention please barney airlines flight number one two three now you are ready to board please throw any hand toys under the seat in front of you and fasten your seat belts in preparation for take off below we see other things like little ones buildings and cars so small it makes me feel like I'm really tall pretending to be the pilot is so much fun I think when I grow up I really could be one but for now I'm enjoying being on this plane safe from the snow and rain here we are let's go again oh we're flying in a plane yes we're flying in a plane looking out the window watching the clouds fly by flying in a plane looking out the window so high have you ever flown planes oh yes i have and there's a plane ride i'll never forget oh wow that's lucky the hayloft was there for sure it is and speaking of going to sleep i think it's about time you went back to bed you have a big day tomorrow your first day of school and that's a special adventure in anyone's life, it truly is a day you will never forget.

I guess my first day of school will be an adventure.
