Anthem 2.0 | Paladin Javelin & Entire Skill Tree CONFIRMED

May 30, 2021
so we've known for a long time that there was going to be an additional

javelin

in Anthem or at least one was in the works in the game's day one files, of course there was the ranger

javelin

, the storm, the interceptor and the colossus in the game files, but there was an additional one and I don't quite remember what it was called at the time. I think his name was Reaper or something else the community would later call a

paladin

or maybe he always was. I called the

paladin

, you'll have to forgive me, it was a long night last night, but anyway we've been speculating about the paladin's javelin for a long time and it looks like we finally have official confirmation that the paladin will become an

anthem

will be the fifth javelin of history, an

anthem

and the first javelin added to the game after release.

Now it makes a lot of sense why they're doing another javelin for the anthem next, which we'll talk about here in just a second, but first. and above all, how do we know there will be another javelin in the anthem and specifically how do we know it is the paladin? Well this information is courtesy of a mix of christian daily and ruby javelin on Twitter, there will be a link to both. in the description below during the last blog post detailing

skill

tree

s and javelin progression, christian posted a very blurry look at what one of the

skill

tree

s in the freeze engine looks like now in that first video where I covered the blog overview with a card. that will appear right now.

More Interesting Facts About,

anthem 2 0 paladin javelin entire skill tree confirmed...

I said it was quite difficult to decode and decipher. I could make out some of the words, but not enough to make much of a difference. Well, Ruby Javelin a few days ago came in and looked at every little pixel and nailed it. to more or less find out the various skills and abilities with the paladin javelin, including what its three advanced classes will now be called, as you may remember from the last video we did in a deep dive into the skill trees and artifacts I mentioned. How these advanced skill trees are most likely different specializations such as dps tank support etc.

Well, all my information on that and all my assumptions were based on what I'm about to show you here, but anyway, without further ado, let's move on. and show the paladin's skill tree on the screen, as some of you may remember from christian daily's blog post, he mentions that the skill trees, at least at first, will focus on his main skills, such as his passive skills , activatable skills. your support your melee weapon, etc., etc. and then as you get into the advanced classes you can unlock much more specialized versions of those skills, for example one of the first nodes is of course health and then it splits into two separate options, health and health shields and health shields and shields and something called heavy slash now this could mean that the paladin will have his melee weapon like an ax or a sword or something like that and you'll see these slash or sword abilities everywhere. the

entire

skill tree, but then splits it up anyway to judge one of his other skills.

I'm guessing this will probably be a triggerable ability along with flaming slash so we have two more abilities called the calm symbol and taunt now if I was a betting man I would say the paladin is going to be a legit paladin and I don't know if many of you they know exactly what a paladin is or a quote unquote paladin in other games basically in my experience they are the jack of all trades they are masters of none you know they can buff support and heal teammates or they could cause direct damage or they could be a tank or an off tank in some cases.
Now, what the paladin will be specifically, let's address with these abilities. trees and I think it's a little more revealing than it could be, but if I mean a traditional paladin in quotes, you know what I mean, but anyway, once you complete the core tree, you get to something called a master paladin, which I'm sure that's where we even saw in the ranger where it's called maybe master ranger master colossus master interceptor and master storm before you choose your advanced specializations now the names of the advanced specializations of the paladin as of now are titan master death master and life master so let's take a few moments here and really look at each of these skill trees because to be honest I've been going from Anthem's perspective really you don't need additional javelins and you only need to build on the javelins they already have, now my opinion has done a complete 180 and I'm really dying to play this javelin first, we have the titan master, it starts with a very straight line of rune bulwark health speed and bulwark shield. which leads me to believe the titan master will be the more tank specialization he has a bit more with the bulwark health a bit faster which I'm not quite sure how that translates to a tank and then shield of the bulwark, which Of course, gives it more defensive capabilities, combined with that taunt ability that we had from the beginning in the base skill tree and I think you could have a very strong candidate or at least a very strong rival for a colossus tank that advances.
In your first two options, you can choose either the Combo Restoration Shield or the Health Bulwark. Now the combo restoration shield would probably mean that if you detonate a combo you would get some of your shields back or at least a percentile of it, or you could go down the path of bulwark health and bulwark shield, which is just you know, upgrade your base stats now it looks like if I'm reading this right, which I think I am, it looks like the next level can be shared by all paladin skill trees, so starting on the left. from the right you have a bulwark health upgrade you have another bulwark health upgrade you have something they couldn't translate you have bulwark shield steel strength fire damage bouncing sword upgrade melee damage other melee damage something else that doesn't They were able to decode fire damage, another thing, they couldn't decode melee damage, melee damage, and mock divine enhancement for the most part, it sounds like you know pretty standard stuff and I'm more or less willing.
I bet these are the upgrades for the base skill tree, so like that taunt you had before, you could upgrade it to get a divine taunt upgrade, but what I find really interesting is that they're actually dropping, I guess this one route of the ronin where i guess it looks like the paladin is going. Having a sword after all now, whether that means you can just sword and have a full melee build or not, remains to be seen. Anthem is primarily, you know, a looter shooter, not a hacker assassin. , but anyway we went down a level of complexity here and it looks like we're back on track with the left side of this skill tree only being exclusive to titan master where you see kinetic transfer bulwark heavy slash improve health and shields of the bulwark health and shields of the bulwark shields and bulwark, health and shields now for me, if we are to speculate that kinetic transfer could be an ability where you could taunt all the enemies and instead of taking the brunt of the damage, that damage is transferred to enemies.
I could see a pretty good combo there, but maybe this is just a passive skill with kinetic transfer, although I personally highly doubt it because I haven't really seen many of the bass skills you know, who knows, maybe this could be the one. support skill that can be activated. support ability similar to maybe the calming symbol in the bass skill tree and then we go down to another level of complexity and again, this is all for the titan master only where you have the options of flaming slash bulwark, upgrade bulwark health, bulwark shield taunt something hits bulwark health and shields and bulwark health and shields and it looks like if you went the bulwark health and shields route you could get something called overload shields more health bulwark plus bull orc shield slash cleanup and something called bulwark shield now Overload shields could just refer to you having ridiculous shields, now you're mainly expected to have ungodly amounts of shields, but again, that's just a cleanup of speculation which usually means to me that you know if you are on fire or if you have acid. or whatever this could quote unquote clearing that debuff and then the bulwark shield is just you know more if you go the bulwark shield clearing route and then on the right you have the bulwark shield thunder circle upgrade , I have no idea what anything could be. justice fire damage and more fire damage but that covers titan master which I guess is the absolute tank skill tree tank tank move up you have death master and to me this speaks volumes of pure, unbridled damage now.
I'm willing to say this says avenger melee damage, you have fire rune, you have again avenger fire damage and then you split into two different branches, you have a flaming slash buff and then you have melee damage if you went down for the Flaming Slash Buff you have another fire damage buff if you go the melee damage route, we're not quite sure what that is and then of course it looks like you have that shared tier where you can get any thing of more bastion. health, more bulwark shields, strength of steel, bouncing sword, upgrade, more fire damage, more melee damage and then provoke, divine upgrade, and then we have the next level which is a little more specialized for specialization As a master of death, you have all the damage. you have all damage you have all damage called of justice strong slash and bouncing sword upgrade and then from there you also have more all damage all damage all damage avenger something combo leach something and melee damage now speaking very quick the avenger combo for me it talks more because you know you had the combo where you get your shield restoration combo with the titan master and now you have the avenger combo maybe the avenger combo when it detonates it spawns some kind of little explosion like the storm or you. getting an elemental buff like interceptor leach actually has me quite interested because this could mean of course instead of restoring your shields like with titan master you could restore your health and then move on from there you have fire damage. something we couldn't figure out, melee damage and fire damage bounce from there, you have the sword symbol that bounces off a challenging wave of calming buff and then you have something called support, something master, plus it seems like that too you could get the verdict improvement.
I'm not quite sure what that could be and lastly at the bottom as the titan master you have a bulwark shield, thunder circle, upgrade something, justice, fire damage and fire damage, like this Yes, everything about the master of death speaks to me too. know a javelin that deals damage, you have a lot of melee damage buffs, you have a lot of damage buffs, heavy slash could be a skill to deal damage and call of justice could be some kind of buff to deal more damage, but actually with fire. and all the swordsmanship really leads me to believe that master of death will be the dps fantasy for the advanced paladin classes and then moving on we more or less have the support class, master of light, whose base you know in a straight line. it's health damage rune fire damage so you have divine combo and melee damage now you're noticing that these combos differ depending on the class you have with the titan master you have the restoration shield with the death master you have the avenger combo and then with the life master you have the divine combo and maybe this could be something like a healing aura that you admit, if you manage to combo successfully you move on, you have the fire damage and then you have got the divine buff of the big cut, I'm not even going to speculate what it could be and of course at the next level you know you have what is shared between the three skill trees, health, bastion shields, steel strength, bouncing sword upgrade, yada, yada. and then we go back to the things that are specifically for the life master, you have the challenging wave, buff all damage, all damage, all damage, heavy slash, buff and then something we couldn't figure out drops from there and you have Holy fire. fire damage all damage all damage inspirational leader and melee damage and maybe inspirational leader is something like a support skill where you buff your teammates or give them a short period of time where they deal more damage, something like that again, that's all just speculation jumping from there, you have once again another level that is sharedthrough the three skill trees and then it's pretty fun, if I'm reading this correctly, it shares the next level with the master of death with the bouncing sword, the symbol of a relaxing upgrade. challenging wave support master and verdict upgrade and then share the last level with the three advanced specializations once again with bulwark shield thunder circle upgrade justice fire damage and fire damage now once again all these skills i have quoted without detailed quotes are completely subject to speculation and of course these three skill trees could change in some way between now and the next Anthem release, but either way I know this video went on a lot longer than I would have liked , but what do they do?
Think about the paladin javelin, what do you think of the skill trees in general if they really go the route of javelins that can tank, have tank specs, damage specs, and support specs? I'm not the one saying that the interceptor for example would have a tank spec it would probably have two damage specializations and maybe a more support focused spec or heck it could have all three dps we just don't know but at the very least we know which one it will more or less be the paladin's javelin at least from this brief overview and I know a fifth javelin is coming to the anthem so let me know what you think in the comments section below as I really read all your comments and, of course, I'll respond if there's conversation potential and if I have the time and If you enjoyed this video and want to stay up to date on all things Anthem, from Paladin Javelin to loot to skill tree progression, be sure to leave a me like and subscribe as it really helps and allows me.
