Last time I was in DC I had it for the second time in my life it's amazing so we got three dishes we got the Ethiopian beef teas which is something we got last time that's the one with the cubes of meat there's the quantum skin fur which is the idiots beef onions some green peppers in there and then Ethiopian style with breakfast and veggies with sambosa on the side which is basically a fried dumpling that looks like a samosa and all of this for Of course, it comes with a wound-shaped bath towel, so many of these dishes are also cooked in injera.

I know you're supposed to eat this with your hands but just for the sake of filming I knew from last time that every time I get to DC I have to start with Ethiopian food so if you guys don't know DC has the largest ethiopian population outside of africa and the most unique food here is enduro which is the best these are super fluffy fermented bread that is very integrated into the kitchen. all the little nooks and crannies and basically like a little bread sponge to soak up all those yummy toppings and sauce and meat never had this green sauce last time oh oh yeah thats perfect with this dish actually eat that inside urer just this is a veggie breakfast scramble it's slightly mild with lots of garlic tons of spice building look at this this one both just drenched in all that great seasoning this is amazing lentils on the inside such a flaky crunchy shell lentils onions plus spices i'm going to let it this sits in this little bag of oils and let it soak in this is the beef and it has like the injera mixed in too oh my god this is so good with these little bits of these basically food sponge mixed in not a single one drop of flavor escapes from this dish it's spicy tomato and this is the beef that goes with it well the shark meat is amazing can you buy a little of this green sauce to the party?

I think my favorite is Ethiopian beef on point the beef cubes that are the best I love jerky they eat it with beef too I love it in general for sure the star I mean I love beef but in Ethiopian cuisine this here is the highlight i love how it folds up seriously it's like a beautiful full bath towel i want to wrap this around my shoulders i hope i can find something as good as this in nyc but if you come to dc ethiopian food you have than putting that on your list this is amazing just sitting here eating social amazing. food sipping some honey spiced tea welcome to dc me that's you see what i'm going to eat next which one is your favorite i like that this one the jerk that's very good and this one is very good for stirring up all this place is so good this meat is super tender the spices all the bread you could eat the bread alone this is ben by the way he is the owner are you the cook too everything is family owned it is wonderful i love it thank you so much for providing this i want to ask you why yours is not that important in ethiopian food it is the main traditional food it is like a main course it is the main course without injera you cant eat and this is used for everything like a tablecloth a pl i ate it could be a service the food is served on top .

I call it a food sponge. all very well thank you yes it's great thank you so much for the delicious food it looks good home made melon ice cream i want that come on monster juice we are here purple patch pantry and patio this place will looks amazing, looks like this. great combination of filipino food and dessert there are so many desserts here and there are so many amazing drink options i will make you frown till kalamazoo the pieces are mine it is so much bigger than when you traditionally find yourself dizzy but it is tender and delicious even though you think the quality of the meat is better less like the garnishes are more like you know big meaty I really like this great creaminess of the eggs the meat is nice and tender has a great kick of vinegar so no not used like the pig's head here yes , not a lot of head meat, it doesn't look like there is anything hidden, it just looks like a normal pig, personally, I like head meat, I like years, but this is also really very good the different cuts of meat you get some of fat somewhat lean there is a nice crunch from the chilies and onions great smoky flavor also the fatty bits are very good especially no complaints it is delicious and is much more pi sing than a lot of the other seasons um i tried and this is really glorious so it's a frozen ube waffle with some crispy bits of lachon on top and usually omg pour some syrup over the lachon for Usually the waffle comes with filipino fried chicken and the pancake comes with um the lachan, but I asked if we could have the lechon with the waffles because I'm a waffle over pancake guy. it's really good oh waffle it's an amazing too so you get a slight crunch from the waffle also a slight crunch from the letron then it just melts melts in your whole mouth did you ever think you would like pork pork in ice cream together you have to come and get the lachan I'm sure the filipino fried chicken is amazing too but this is so gloriously delicious right now it's like a bag of air building a charm you squash on the outside it's almost like nothing but juice in there which is basically like a lachang grape that you go through. everything is juicy and delicious it's a great dish this is my favorite this year 100 come here and have this the only thing is it's not on the menu so i had to order the lachan with the waffles i mean i'm sure the pancake is amazing too from the restaurant owner well patrice your food is delicious thank you so much would you like to be on my show oh my god hi patrice you are the owner you are half irish and half filipino the irish side um you fat she is irish your mother's filipina where did you learn to cook with your mother? well your mom must be proud understand the latron you made it with ice cream i dont think i have never told people to eat pork with ice cream before but i have never heard of it but i think it works ok we have to eat because we have a huge sandwich in front of us.

I love horseradish and I like the smoky flavor. just like you know they revamped their whole menu and made it even better it tastes like a much better version like a supremely better version of a traditionally regular roast beef sandwich it's good on its own too but this is amazing so smoky .incredibly tender you need the sauces the combination of sauces is very very important 100 you have to have horseradish in this bbq sauce it is amazing i need to try a medium rare version we only have one because we are actually going to like another great meal but i think we need another one of these can we get another one?
I think we should get another second round of medium rare. Let's do it right. rare here you go thank you are you ready for this saint this is much better this is the medium rare isso tender just like the smoked extra crispy gray onion provides a little difference in texture so the sauce i got a little different from tiger sauce which is a combination of mayonnaise and horseradish and a little salt and pepper this is a very simple sauce that i could eat non-stop from now on whenever i pass through the baltimore dc area i will come for this too i mean its according to the nice people that work there too this is the main reason we are here avery's

shell cornbread cole slaw corn watermelon fried shrimp clam strips steamed shrimp steamed clams and of course the snow crabs on the blue crabs I think my starter I want a little bit of everything the first Seafood tray is here and check it out, isn't it? pretty thing so the blue crab ships every day so it's definitely the freshest and what I'm here for today this is how you open a blue crab I call this right here the bottom of the crab if you take it out right there like so and just crack open the crab to reveal all the best stuff and people usually throw it away. the most delicious and flavorful part i just found out jessie never had the insides of a crab before like you never had the gills yeah i've had crabs but i've never liked eating it that's alright here i'm going to give you a piece to eat ok and tell me if you like it it's not good it tastes like guts and I love that I love that it doesn't have more like umami like a natural mommy it's so good this is the best way to eat a crab this is the best part as you see this here jesse this the yellow stuff here a squeeze of lemon juice kid don't you take a bite that's not as good or even better than the meat itself you know in japan that stuff is where they dip the crab meat, so they call it the miso you see when you break it right there that's the best meat you can dip this in butter or just a little lemon juice whatever you want sweet heaven and it's all you can eat actually they will have their own seasoning too call this cond imento j which I think is their signature secret recipe oh that's amazing try some seasoning it's so good spicy it's flavorful add that with a squeeze of lemon juice all blue crabs are so good i mean i'm a fan of snow crab but vs fresh maryland blue crab there's no comparison i'm going to eat the snow crab and then focus all my attention on the blue crab it's so sweet i don't even feel like i need no seasoning or butter or whatever your favorite thing we ate today i have only had sea ilyn blue crab once in my life i forgot how delicate and amazing it tastes oh don't get me wrong the snow crab is amazing too and because you have this great seasoning, it's not like you're dipping everything in butter so it's not getting like so heavy and greasy, there's actually a lot of different flavors involved, dammit, jesse got serious, what is this battle mode? playlist oh i remember the last time i had blue crab.
I remember not liking the experience because I didn't really know how to eat these things back then. I didn't know you could eat the insides so basically all I did was I just ate some of the meat I found around the edge of the claws and it took a long time so I remember thinking man this is this I burn more calories eating this than drinking, but as I travel more I learned to appreciate everything more and now I tell you this is such a fun and delicious experience. I just found out that their shrimp is fresh, like freshly steamed shrimp, that's amazing.
You usually go places in a steamed shrimp for yourself. It's just frozen shrimp. also covered in that great seasoning you know these shrimp are amazing oh you can taste the difference they are so much bouncier and sweeter fresh steamed clams you don't need a thing just pop them in your mouth like little sea grapes yo, Jesse, while in South Carolina. north carolina i was in north carolina i went to a
