Feb 27, 2020Hi guys I'm Mike Chen I've gotten a lot of requests for recommendations for New York City and it's usually the best ha ha ha ha best noodles best dumplings best
korean
bbq best Best all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ because that's the only kind that's economically delicious. and every time I get that question, I really have no idea because all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ really isn't a big thing in New York City until probably the last six months, suddenly all-you-can-eat. -eat Korean BBQ places are popping up in Manhattan they're popping up in Queens in New Jersey so let me be your food guinea pig let's go try some of these places now I'll tell you what they are like don't let's open yeah I have about 15 minutes, so we have to come here and have some tea and a tin of biscuits for him.Barbecue. Why not? I mean we didn't go out in a day. a lot a lot and as long as you're getting
korean
bbq involved they're definitely going to do that they're just real I'm going out so the price here goes from $19.99 it's a 38 ok so there's a few options to choose from the classics exclusives, there is a lunch special for around 19-20 dollars. I'll see if that's really worth it you get everything on the classic menu which is almost twenty cuts of miso once you get the signature you get close to 30 different types of meat and on the dinner menu what it's something special here you have some scallion pancakes japchae will premiere their ribs basically the difference between that and the lunch menu is really just one rib and the extra piece of steak oh wow so the rib eye steak and shrimp is only one order per person per which isn't even all you can eat with these options and the difference is that the price is pretty dramatic, it's an extra 20 bucks, so you're paying $28 for an extra order of rib steak and shrimp per person. good so the show read the steak and shrimp per person yes and then the brisket 10 brisket ok ok then rib later ok ok ok that sounds good to me thank you those are so good cheesy sweet shape and bodies couple to the qualities more big what i look for in a potential girlfriend sweet and cheesy i love steamed dick something i have to get every time i'm eating korean bbq and they have it here well she made my favorite me for starters a little skirt and the cut i get i like a good balance of fat and ruby needs a little salt sesame oil all it really needs to harbor some of the fish cup i think i would have liked a little more fat but it was definitely very very tender the tenderloin steak from New York this is basically the part of what I'm paying for I only get a piece of disparate person and this is a very lean piece of steak.I find that said along with the price tag a bit hard to swallow. Definitely not worth the money, agreed. Shrimp It's the other thing on the signature menu here, but those of you who don't like to peel shrimp, this isn't quite ideal for you, but guys, you're on a date with a girl who doesn't like to peel the shrimp this is your chance to show your chivalrous side take your boat kill it for her put it on her plate ronnie print my friends or in this case some people it's for me i like to do a little just pick up from me Renee is pretty sweet and she is quite fresh, no sugars, not bad.
I'm kind of surprises for shrimp in signature mania because there isn't something people usually pay extra for me is ok but I wouldn't order again because one is. messy on it's a shrimp it's nothing more special than just shrimp it's good but nothing spectacular here again i want to be a gentleman show your date that you're not a seafood and you're a gentleman that's the irish steak looks like it's nice good marbling a lot better than the new
york
strip the hanger steak and then we have the marinated shrimp this is the star of the menu it was tender tasty it cut me up you will find it at most korean bbq places this is the signature this is the star and it they cut very thin here a few places the short ribs are very thick with a bone inside which is a bit of a pain to eat the short rib is quite a greasy cut so it's okay that it's a little more charred and I like it a little more graphic this is the Irish Stink.I'm stuck now on honestly buttered, finish staking, extra hit to cool rub marinate. You don't have to dive into anything. hunger brought down the price korean bbq world meat that is so unbelievably tough i am getting shawl worked up eating at this place this first time i had a sugar that is not tender the taste is good but by no means should you ever get that signature maybe 38 99 you should n you never understood that i mean you're ordering all this stuff extra it doesn't even cost it's like a little bit more it costs a lot more not a single thing i had as stated worth the extra price i'll give it a try the hanger steak right now the hanger steak marinated doctor so the classic menu is not bad let's buy some pork belly look how it's raining pork belly the bacon looks very crispy.
I like my bacon definitely charred. crispy chewy fish deep pork belly anything with this place stick with the really skinny companies you're going to be fine top Agoge it's so good I'm eating some veggies with it got some bulgogi some sprouts some scallions some fermented sauce bean korean bbq taco i love little songs this place is a buffet lunch for about 20 bucks you get the brisket you get the pork belly i feel like from manhattan thats not bad thats pretty good meat quality is ok you go to have a good meal but I wo I really wouldn't recommend any of the more expensive options I don't feel it's worth it so come here get the lunch menu have the amazing british kids get the bulgogi good the pork belly, all that for 20 bucks, you'll be pretty. happy because trust me if you pay the extra money for me that's tougher than bruce lee that's really going to ruin your meal now a little break later the legend of korean bbq continues canal street market just a couple of things here i love the jo steam rolls and the link side khaki gordy so poop gauri it's just shaved ice really fluffy and they basically make it a flavor sandwich there's ice on the bottom then they put flavor and cream in the middle then it's just another bunch of fluffy ice on top and then you paint the outside with flavor as well, its basically a snowball start, look how light the isis is.
I know this is a Korean BBQ video, but you guys don't mind if I take a sweet, non-hugging, gory little detour, it's really different. many of the other types of shave like korean bingsu or the time we need shaved ice isn't as thick as a taiwanese shave - it's unbelievably light and then when you dig in there you have the second layer of flavor all that cream is sitting there , so you never get like super tasty shaved ice on the outside digging digging in the sides like tasteless ice cube you never get that with an accordion ok eat your plate north korean bbq this time let's go to the location of Flushing number to New York a bbq this is one of the newer all you can eat korean steakhouse just popped up here in queens and just a glance at the menu looks pretty reasonable so 1595 for monday lunch to Friday 1895 for dinner on the weekend 2695 pretty typical prices and you get a lot of things on the menu for lunch you can get the beef brisket which is my favorite pork belly beef shoulder blade C, spicy pork bulgogi, spicy chicken and you get soybean paste stew for dinner. 2695 you add five bucks for the galbi about 16 different great items including the awesome album which I love there's calamari small intestine the galbi bbq ribs we'll get that.
I'll tell you how it's so typically how it works here. the customer usually cooks is a gas stove you know i was wondering all the meats i really wanted from the menu my favorite the brisket looks great looks very fresh i feel like the marbling isn't that great on this so i know this brisket has the potential to overcook and not be as juicy and a little dry but this is always the first thing i cook and i like it a little burn personal preference its just a little salt and sesame oil no gum the brisket is a little drier as i thought it would be because i don't really see a lot of marbling like leaving the meat itself what i liked was the fat on the side i'm cutting Chris oh we got a little crispy nice greasy texture oh i just saw the sign yeah free cold noodles here you need it with a korean bbq like this james bond needs a tuxedo yeah yeah so korean bbq you need a cold noodle ok thats a great start with the brisket but i dont feel like i had s Enough so let's repeat but let's follow that brisket we should and ask them if they had a bad year cut so we'll see what happens brisket round two what I also love about the brisket is it looks so pretty you know and these are almost the same i think a little bit better marbled on them but not much let's cook it and see nice crispy brisket so lean but good it was a bit fatter but still the quality and flavor is very good oh here is the loom i got you said if it came with the app with the barbecue.
I love a ton of mustard sauce. This goes perfect with meat. Small breast. Put some noodles on it. My favorite way to eat Korean BBQ. Next, I learn a bogey and steak. to cross over this is the crown heh well the galbi going on the grill is what I'm paying an extra five bucks for but as I was saying SIG is a hit when it comes to turning bbq stretch korean bbq all you can eat marinade a beef bulgogi just like the plot of this year's cowboy movie this gets a little hard to swallow how are you kind of dry oh the rib eye looks so good and juicy this is the best cut usually in any restaurant in Korean BBQ is the most tender cut usually the tastiest Korean BBQ dinner from winner-winner.
Honestly, I think for an extra five bucks go to the shore. It's not that much money, but the meat is excellent, it's a little charred, but I'm fine with that hair friend. your bean sauce jalapeno garlic kimchi come on pork belly slightly sweet slightly spicy very smoky true tried all the meat on the menu still got an octopus and pork skin here but overall still feeling the quality of the meat from this morning it's much better than here the brisket w i eat fatter, the gay moogle was more tender, more juicy, i'm not saying the quality of the meat is bad at all for the price i've paid, i mean more than a dozen types of meats, good brisket a bit late but still very flavorful, I really like the pork belly.
I love the short ribs and the cold noodles are definitely on point. The quality of the meat won't be extraordinary, but it's definitely okay for all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ. I think if I had to do it over again, I'd rather come. lunch to get the $18 you get the brisket you get the pork belly you get most of the most popular meats and for around 18 bucks it's a great value and one more thing people here love this so it's great in overall it's for a korean bbq alkie not that i would give it overall like a three point a three point nine out of five ok i'm totally roasted but tomorrow i'm going somewhere i heard good things see you tomorrow and good morning coming to Russia. for one more one more korean bbq if you're visiting nyc this is a really cool little hack for you commuting from brooklyn to flushing not to question it's a little tricky especially on subway especially on the train 7 reliable exterior but there are shuttles that connect all the Chinese house together in New York City if you didn't know it's only about $3 so about the price of a subway ticket I mean it's not the cleanest but ok how clean do you think the subway pulls candy things are so good it wasn't easy to get this candy sold out in about ten minutes this is basically like a hand pulled pecan candy oh, there are fish swimming in nuts they really chewy handful can you be the last place on this all you can eat korean bbq tour and this is a place.
I was anticipating more because I didn't make you a
cast
iron
pot and Jersey so I'm a little main with that and I love this place as you can see there's a bigcast
iron
skillet that looks like Captain America right in front of it. from you but I'm pretty sure he could stop a blast from Rook's hammer and usually we walk into this place they have like what's already on the scale is set up so we've got something sprouted 8 kimchi onions simple mushrooms so amazing 1895 for lunch 2895 for dinner quite typical inthis place also has a great variety of meats, pork belly, spicy pork belly, pork belly steak, soy pork rib and really the biggest difference seems to be that from the bold menu to the lunch menu, the trees oh the pork jowl the stakes at the GAVI so basically I'm going to get a bunch of stuff where I'll let you know if it's worth coming here for lunch or dinner a little higher on the feeling you can't seem to focus you look at getting better a brisket is done and all that fat you don't want all that extra fat is going to drip off again my favorite cut at any korean bbq i like it a little charred on this thing very very good ratio of lean and fat so you can see the juice dripping down the brisket as always very plain a little sesame oil a little salt - oh my goodness the importance of that and first getting Korean BBQ is vital for that upbeat juicy bite of d e the meat the perfect polish and here they really do everything for you so the server will come and take care of you so you don't really need your own kitchen and handle a lot of volume like I do here when it's packed but still have time to cook the steak hanging on everyone's stove this is something that's only on the dinner menu it's a cheesy photo set this is the steak oh my god they did a lot of cutting into the meat to get it all the way through. perfect that steak i'll come for dinner and pay your money just order that hmm spicy suit was amazing might be a little upset if you don't want to waste your stomach too much with soup the steamed egg legs well steamed amazing eat well Just thought of some egg al steam inside the spicy beef soup oh great let's keep eating we have pork belly so it's not just burning the top and bottom it's also burning the sides of this pork belly. in korean bbq places but i'm happy to see it here not just a two sided dorado but the site is here fermented bean sauce i love it it tastes kimchi stir fry they are so interesting when you bite into a lettuce meat wrap and the most of the juice comes from the meat and not the lettuce in a pig jaw this is not one of the most tender parts of pigs favorite korean barbecue so far it's ok this is the galbi this is a minivan going up Beyonce al setting tender juicy dripping with juice I just shake it like look at this mango carefully please a brush to make a good galbi it really is what separates the men from the boys honey this is the highlight of any korean bbq not named after what are you korean bbq bliss last couple of cuts to try chorizo and spicy pork about the fact that rizzo is not on the lunch menu so im trying to figure out what t It's so awesome about this it's a good area sri a little sour a little spicy subtly sweet so juicy don't forget to go to the trees around here that's amazing this pork belly is a little sweet but that's what gives it a nice little caramelization on the outside of the meat.I think my favorite thing today is the brisket obviously always in my top three the shoulder steak here absolutely amazing pork. belly that way they cook it they char it all for size never seen before seals in all the juice also makes it so amazing like a volcano it's galbi absolutely amazing in the chorizo get the chorizo I mean it's something else that's in the dinner menu I think at this place there is an $89 difference between a lunch menu at an in between I would say quiet for dinner the extra stuff they get for an extra eight or nine bucks I think it's worth it it's re ally so good I think overall of all the korean bbq places I've been to personally it didn't have a lot of selection it was pretty expensive but the quality was good the other queens place the price was there but the quality for me really was This place is not my favorite.
It was my favorite before trying all the other places. Still my favorite Korean BBQ in New York City. I mean everything they do here. The staff. The quality of the meat. The price. Captain America's shield that they used to grill. the stuff about I love it all I just want to say I really advocate going to Korean BBQ places because if you ever liked a regular Korean BBQ place I was at a regular one about two weeks ago five wise order $200 from me none of us it was not even 30% full so coming to a place like this I mean yeah the quality won't be as good as a street car place but it's not hundreds of dollars value not as good and that wraps up my review New York all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ places here in NYC and one last note: NYC all-you-can-eat places don't even compare to everyone else. canyon places in LA they just do it they don't I get that but this is what we got and this place isn't that bad too guys if you're as hungry as I am you want people to feed you all the time , get a shirt that tells people who feed them right here new designs in a shop links below thanks so much for looking until we eat again bye
