Needless to say, Assassin's Creed Odyssey would have taken some inspiration from Zack from 2006. Snyder's film 300 300 is perhaps the most popular and well-known film set in the era of the Spartans. The Battle of Thermopylae in which the 300 Spartans fought against the Persian army took place around 480 BC. C., not long before the events of Assassin's. Creed Odyssey, which takes place in 431 BC. C. and, just so you know, the smaller the number, the more recent the date will be in regards to eras a. C. With all this in mind, it is not at all surprising that the game literally begins with the Battle of Thermopylae in which you can play the Spartan general Leonidas, who is also the main character of the film in this opening sequence of the game, the cinematography is very reminiscent of what you see in Zack Snyder's film from this point on, Leonidas' sphere is a key weapon. and element in the game that talks about weapons or attacking people to be more precise, one of these special moves that you can use has direct influence from a very iconic scene from the movie, the kick is a move that you will get very early in the game. game and It's pretty much a staple in most combat situations from there, so we already have the battle and the kick, but if you want another reference to 300, take a quick look at the achievements where you'll find that this is the achievement of Sparta. that you receive for completing the 300 battle, this is once again a reference in the most brutal and iconic scene of 300, although it is not really an

easter

egg, but rather geographically accurate, you can head to ma pillai and find the ancient battlefield on which The Battle of the 300 took place, including the narrow paths that the 300 Spartans gave their lives to defend.

Black Panther has been one of the most popular movies of the entire year, absolutely destroying the box office and bringing Marvel movies even more into the spotlight than ever before. Before, for these reasons, I'm not at all surprised to see a Black Panther Easter egg appear in Assassin's Creed Odyssey, so to find this Easter egg or what you'll want to do is head to the waterfall that you can see. there in the distance can be found in the lower right corner of the map, approximately at this location at the top of this waterfall, those of you who have seen Black Panther will find a very familiar scene of these two fighting in the water. with his audience cheering is a reference to the scene from Black Panther in which Wakanda, the most advanced country in the entire world, elects its leader through a trial by combat and not through I don't know a vote, ok, aside, it's a scene Really good. in the movie and I really enjoy this little recreation that can be found in Assassin's Creed Odyssey together with Ubisoft.

They love including tons of Easter eggs for popular movies or games in their titles. They also love to reference their own games throughout. Assassin's Creed. Odyssey is no different. Shortly after the start of the game, you will have your first opportunity to exit the animus and walk around in the present day. There are a lot of Easter eggs here, but for now we'll just take a look at that. reference popular Ubisoft games, so first on a shelf in the back room you can find this little guy who of course is a rabid who first appears in Rayman Raving Rabbids, but more recently and perhaps the most popular is the game in Mario Plus Rabbids Kingdom Battle.

This is one of Ubisoft's favorite Easter eggs, as they appeared in previous Assassin's Creed games and the Watchdog series. The second reference is a pair of night vision goggles in the bedroom. These glasses and that dialogue are a direct reference to Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell. Third Echelon game series is the covert operations subdivision within the NSA in which Sam Fisher, the wearer of said glasses and protagonist of the Splinter Cell games, is a highly trained agent for reference to the 4th echelon, something introduced in Blacklists Splinter Cell as a replacement for the Third Echelon after their previous leader attempted to overthrow the United States government.
Sam Fisher is the current leader of the 4th echelon and if there are future games, it's something we'll see more prominently. Assassin's Creed Black Flag is one of my all-time favorite Assassin's Creed games, one of the reasons I loved it so much was the naval combat and they've brought that naval combat back in Assassin's Creed Odyssey. It seems like naval combat is favoring most people with Ubisoft releasing Skull and Bones in the near future, a game completely based on this mechanic, speaking of which the next Easter egg we'll see seems to reference Skull and Bones. Bones or maybe Black Flag, let's take a quick look, so if you're heading to the Obsidian Islands they can be found here on the map.
All you need to do once you arrive is head to the highest peak. If you climb to the top, in one of the cracks you can find a skull and two bones, literally a skull. and Bones, this seems like a pretty obvious reference to the upcoming Skull and Bones game, but at the same time it has some bootleg imagery, so maybe there's a slight Black Flag reference in there too. My favorite types of Easter eggs are those hidden in Secrets of special locations behind waterfalls are a particular favor of mine, but equally interesting are those

secrets

hidden in the highest or lowest point of the game world.
For this Easter egg, we will be heading to the highest point in Assassin's Creed Odyssey, which can be found on top of that mountain in the distance, if you want to find it yourself, you can find it here on the map, on top of the mountain embedded in the rock, you can find a sword. Now I've seen some others. Sources claim this is a reference to Dark Souls bonfires, which is an

easter

egg that appears in many games, but honestly, I don't think Odyssey literally has bonfires, so if they wanted to make a Dark Souls reference, they could. just stick a sword into any of them.
This is very clearly a reference to Excalibur and The Legend of the Sword in the Stone. This is a well-known British legend, but I think this Easter egg is actually a reference to the royal sword. the stone in real life the sword can be found in Siena Italy and not in the legendary Camelot. The story goes that a knight climbed a mountain after a dream took him there. The view from the top was so beautiful that he decided to stand on the other side, however, without a cross at hand and no wood nearby, instead he took out his sword and plunged it into the rock where it still stands to this day. today.
This story and Assassin's Creed Odyssey are separated by over 1,000 years, but I'm pretty sure this is a reference to the actual sword in the stone definitely not Dark Souls. The climbing mechanics in Assassin's Creed Odyssey have been greatly expanded since the days of the original Assassin's Creed games. It's now possible to climb virtually anything you can imagine without even having to worry about finding handholds. It's a trait that Odyssey actually shares with another very popular game, The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, but that's not the only thing these two games share. If you come to this small island that is located here on the map, near the edge of the rocks, you can find a small stone circle surrounding an unusual figure.
This here is a reference to the core puzzles of Breath of the Wild. Stone circles are something you'll see in multiple areas when playing Zelda and perhaps the most interesting is the small figure in the center. is actually a Corrick despite being a crude model, that blade on its face is a clear indication that it is not an Assassin's Creed game if it does not refer to the previous Assassin's Creed games, Odyssey, however, it has a particular taste for the Assassin's Creed syndicate when outside the animus you can interact with the window to hear this dialogue that refers to the sprite of the Assassin's Creed syndicate wins one of the twins Frey would still recognize London as roofs that remain roofs also through the Ubisoft club , but you can get Evie Frye as a lieutenant on your ship, so those were a bunch of the biggest Easter eggs to be found in Assassin's Creed Odyssey, but we're not done yet because there are still a few little references I have for you, so as always, it's time for my favorite part of these videos it's time for the lightning round at a randomly selected vendor you will be able to find and purchase a unicorn skin for your horse the unicorn comes with all your unicorn fantasies, including a pink horn, pink reins and best of all, you will leave trails wherever you go by using the game app and redeeming the reward.
You can unlock Seaworth's byuk from Assassin's Creed Origins as a lieutenant on your ship. A returning easter egg from Assassin's Creed Origins. The reference is a famous scene from the movie. Gladiator walking through a wheat field will have your character run his hand across the top of the grass just like in Gladiator. Another gladiator reference comes in the form of an achievement called Don't you find it fun to access emails on your computer once you're out of the Animus? you can find a number of responses referencing the popular Star Wars trap line and even joking about the top ten YouTube videos being incredibly popular.
I should know since I've done a few of them in the past, but this parody of Those Channels Called Chilling Top Ten is particularly reminiscent of channels like the Top 10 or Top Ten Most Incredible of All Time. I think we're almost done. That was my look at most of the Easter eggs in Assassin's Creed Odyssey and then maybe some Easter eggs. that have escaped or maybe were found after this video was posted, so if that's the case, be sure to leave a comment below and let everyone know.
