Airpods Pro vs Powerbeats Pro Compared - Which Are Better?

Feb 27, 2020
Hello what's going on? I'm Jared with State Attack. Today we are going to compare two different sets of Pro Bluetooth headphones. We have the Power Beats Pro and we have the Air Pods Pro. I just finished editing a video comparing the Power Beats Pro to the Air. pods - and I'm going to delay posting that one because I think it's more important right now to have a discussion about the air pods Pro and I'll post that other video a little bit later, so you'll want to make sure to subscribe to the channel here if you're interested and then if you want me to do it, I'll do a comparison between the Air Pods Pro and the original Air Pods, well I guess version two right now and the power beats the Pro, just for something like that.

I give you a general comparison to all of those because I feel like Apple has priced everything one way at the moment, the Air Pods are definitely Apple's entry level Bluetooth headphone product, then we have the Power Beats Pro

which

are Technically it's still kind of a different brand, but Apple owns them, so I consider them an Apple product. I mean, they charge with a Lightning connector, so they're an Apple product and then we have the Air Pods Pro and Apple has been doing this with everyone. of their products have been putting pro at the end of the big ticket items, I mean look at the iPhone 11 pro, look at the MacBook Pro, look at the Mac Pro,

which

will cost billions of dollars, so they're really kind of of making sure that pro is behind everything that costs more and if there is no word pro then it is the one that costs less, but that really means that you are getting a

better

experience and a

better

product, that is what I want to answer in some of these videos in the future.

More Interesting Facts About,

airpods pro vs powerbeats pro compared which are better...

I just finished comparing the power beats Pro to the air pods, and now I'm comparing the power beats Pro to the air pods Pro because the air pods Pro answers a couple of problems or solves a couple of problems that I had with the air original pods, which is the fact that they don't make a good seal in the ear, so a lot of audio leaks out and you don't get the great audio experience that you would expect from something you're paying so much money for, and they're also not very safe in your ear, that's what led me to go for the

powerbeats

Pro because the

powerbeats

Pro will provide a better audio experience and They also clip around your ear so they hold much better.

I've been a lot more active these past few months and my

airpods

used to scare me when I was at the gym and I'm on the treadmill or jumping or doing some type of exercise. I was always afraid of them falling out of my ear and the last thing I want is for one of my

airpods

to end up under a treadmill which would be disgusting, so the powerbeats Pro not only gave me a better audio experience but which also gave me confidence that they would be more stable and hold much better in my ear, but then came the Air Pods Pro, which are a better overall audio experience, which is what everyone wanted out of our airpods, but They also have a little more security because they hug the ear canal a little, they are not an around-the-ear type of bluetooth headset like the power beats, but the audio quality is much better and there are a couple of features too Added extras like noise cancellation, so the Air Pods Pro really started to look appealing to me.

In the last few months I have also looked at Sony's noise canceling headphones which are quite expensive they are really nice they are just not very convenient that case was not as challenging as the case for the powerbeats but it was not as convenient to get them in and out of your ear Power Beats definitely aren't as conveniently popping in and out of your ear as AirPods do, but there are small trade-offs here and there. I was in this weird place where I couldn't find one headset that would control all of them, so now we're just going to talk. about these two devices and my experiences with them and like I said, if you want a little more comparisons and different details, let me know in the comments section below.
I'll do my best to post a video on that topic, so let's get started. with the power beats Pro obviously, like I said, I chose the power beats Pro because I wanted something with better audio quality, but more importantly something with more security. Now the power beats Pro come in a very large size and are a somewhat intrusive device. you have to wrap it around your ear, they go into your ear pretty well and now that I have one in this ear on this side I have this weird feeling that my ears need to pop because they are an inner ear, they go right into your ear and there has to be that seal now that they produce an incredible audio experience.
I mean, for the size of these little devices, not only do you get great audio that far exceeds the airpods, the standard airpods, but you also get the security of them. it drops so easily, you also get better battery life and there are more buttons, there are actually buttons that perform different functions, like a rocker button on the top to adjust the volume level, which there is one on each side and then there's also the B which is a button and you can do different touch functions there to pause and play, go to the next track and things like that, activate Siri, so there are a lot of functions on this and it's more tactile because there are buttons, so which is definitely more of an active use type of item, whereas an Air Pod is more of a casual use type of item.
I like these, they're great at first, they weren't comfortable at all and I think it was just because I hadn't worn something. So for a while my ears would get a little tired and it was a little annoying, but after using them a couple of times, that went away and I don't notice it anymore, the same goes for the inner ear, you know, I had been using normal Airpods for a lot of time, so switching to something that will be right inside your ear the first few days was a little annoying, but after that I completely got used to it and it didn't bother me at all, so the real thing.
The downside is only the case itself. I mean, the case is a monster. It is not wireless charging. You need a Lightning cable to charge it, which you still need for your iPhone, but these days I have fewer and fewer things that require lightning and most of my items. that require lightning have wireless charging so I don't have to worry about plugging them in so they are great. I like them. I think they are well priced, especially considering there has been a price drop. I think they sell for $1.99 now. I don't know if that's forever, but I bought them for $1.99 and the price had just changed and I think they're a great value.
At $1.99 you get on average about five hours of battery life and I listen to music. loud and I listen to it non-stop normally for about three hours when I'm at the gym and sometimes audiobooks, but mostly loud music, and then I put them back in the case and I don't have to charge the case for basically a whole time. the week I'll go to the gym three, four or five times a week, the case beats it every time, so they're great, so let's talk now about the Earpods Pro and now about the Air Pods Pro. I got a little excited because no. just that they were airpods, which are super convenient and the reason I would always go back to my regular airpods is that if I get a phone call, I grab an airpod and throw it in my ear and I can answer a call without missing the call with the Powerbeats when I take out the case because I'm not going to put it in my pocket.
It's such a big case. He sticks the Powerbeats Pro in one of my ears. Try to answer a call that is no longer there. The voicemail has probably already been recorded and saved, so it is not convenient only for everyday life. They are excellent for music. They are excellent for exercise. They're great to wear for longer periods of time, but you know they're just not great. convenient so I was excited about the air pods pro because I was hoping to get the best audio quality, the extra features and then also have something that was super convenient so the case on the ear pods pro is a little bigger than the standard air pods.
The case is not much, although it is surprisingly not much bigger, it can still be put in a pocket, whereas here it cannot be put in a pocket. The only thing I found annoying is actually how to grab it and remove it from the case. It is not so easy to take it out of the case. like the other airpods, but they go in your ear very nice and easy, they just stay there, it didn't take me long to get them in my ear, maybe a millisecond, a fraction of a second longer than the normal airpods, because they just I need to make sure they are in my ear, but now they are in my ear ready to go and connected to the power beats Pro and the air pods Pro.
You have many options for interacting with your device using your headphones, but the power beat Pro is a little more customizable, there are a few more features that you may find useful, so with the air pods Pro they are small

compared

to the other air pods, they are smaller and don't stick out as far as I know. What I had issues with previous Air Pods was the call quality when I had a phone call, of course music quality was one of those things and then sometimes there was just a consistency with the connectivity. I had an Air Pod and it was watching YouTube videos and there was a crackling sound.
Sometimes I had to take out the airpod, put it back in the case, close the app, open the app and put the airpod back in and usually it would be fine for a while. While I haven't had any of those issues with these air pods Pro and to be honest I haven't had any of the issues that I experienced with the regular air pods with the powerbeats Pro either so with these air pods the battery life Battery is surprisingly good, you know, it's almost as advertised so far. I've been trying to use them with noise cancellation on trying to use as many features that the airpods would have to have at the same time to see if the battery life can hold up and so far it's done a pretty good job.
I listen to music pretty loud like I said. I think these Air Pods Pro don't have to work as hard as the older Air Pods due to the fact that they are an inner ear. I've talked about this in other videos, they go in your ear, the speaker in there and everything has a good seal, so it doesn't have to explode in your head as hard as the Air Pods Pro do. Now, the power beats the Pro. You don't have to do that either, they sit in your ear so you don't have to work as hard and one of the nice things about the power beats Pro and air pods Pro is that the music actually sounds a bit atmospheric, it's not So.
It sounds like it's hitting your face from the side and you're losing a lot of clear audio, which is the case with the air pods and a complaint many people have had with the air pods with the powerbeats Pro and the air pods Pro. The audio is much better, it's much cleaner and it may be due to the seal now the seal is also an issue when I first put the powerbeats pro on I knew the fit wasn't perfect, I wasn't getting the foundation I was hoping to get out of the beats. I wasn't getting audio clarity so I knew I needed to go up a size on the little ear tips that were included in the box so I went up a size larger with the Air Pods Pro. the tip is actually fine, the one that It came with them is a medium size tip, I usually have to go up to the large one, it has a type of software algorithm that can check that it plays a tone in your ears and determines if there is any Air leak and will let you know if you need to use a smaller ear tip or a larger ear tip, which I think is great.
I didn't have to use a larger ear tip and actually tried a larger ear tip. Just to see if it would give me a better audio experience, the larger tip actually ended up being too big for my ears and I have large ear holes, my wife says, so the fit was good and it was nice to know that I didn't had. go up to the large size because a lot of times, like with the power beats pro, the large tip size I feel like I had to dig into my ear a little bit, so the audio experience between these two is kind of a toss-up and it really depends on the type of music you listen to now.
I tried listening to all kinds of different music. Most of the music I listen to when I'm at the gym is like hard rock metal, however, there are moments that I like. Listening to hip-hop or rap and it really depends these days is getting a little ridiculous but I wanted to listen to something with good bass and I found that when it comes to the clarity of the highs and mids while still providing decent bass, the Air Pods Pro They seem to produce a better overall experience there, but nowhere near, not even close, the audio experience is still really good with the treble in the middle.
The Power Beats Pro felt like the Air Pods Pro had maybe a little more in there and I was going back and forth listening to the same song alternating between the others so I felt like the mids and highs were a little better on the air, although Potts Pro now with the basses and listening to hip-hop, you know, II forty just released a new album recently, so I was checking that out andthe powerful beats seemed to have a little more bass now that could also come down to the fit and that's one of the things I really wanted to talk a little bit about because people will try headphones like this and declare one a winner, but really the fit can affect a lot when you put them in your ears.
Now it's nice that the airpods have that test that tells you whether or not it has a good fit, but I can still push them, put a little pressure on them, pushing them towards my ear a little more and get a better bass response, the power beats the Pro definitely until I put that bigger tip in there, it didn't. Give me that better experience and that bigger tip, maybe a little too big for my ear, but it creates a seal that produces some really nice bass and the bass and the representation of that bass and the different music that I'm listening to, that being said.
My experience is that the mids and highs are a little better on the Air Pods Pro, but the bass is a little harder and a little deeper on the Power Beats Pro and that could really be adjusted because this is not a scientific test. In my experience, it will all depend on the type of music you listen to the most, the type of fit you are looking for, and the type of device security you are looking for. This also has a wireless charging capability, which is great, where the Beats Pro doesn't, as well as audio quality, security, battery life, comfort and all that, it really comes down to how you're going to use these devices now in the air.
The Pro pods are definitely more expensive, they'll cost around $250, while the power beats Pro right now are $200, so what you get with the air pods Pro is wireless charging, you get the noise cancellation you're getting. the small pocket case. I like the noise cancellation. The noise cancellation is great when I'm working out at the gym and listening to an audiobook. Having that extra layer of noise cancellation makes it easier for me to focus on listening to an audiobook and then have it. To hear all the background noise, the Power Beats Pro fit very well in your ear, so there will be a little bit of noise isolation there, but it's not active noise cancellation like the Air Pods Pro have, so like the Air Pods Pro I.
I feel like I'm getting a little extra help there so I can focus on what I'm listening to and not worry about all the background noise that usually distracts me a lot. The Power Beats Pro do not have any assets. noise cancellation, but in most cases, if you're listening to music at full volume, which you probably are with the power beats Pro, the noise cancellation isn't that important now, the only thing I haven't done yet with the air pods Pro is taking a flight and I tested the quality of the noise cancellation on a flight that I would normally use and over-ear headphones like my Sony noise canceling headphones, which I will link to not only the video I made about them, but also the product below so you can check that the over ear noise cancellation experience is always going to be better on a plane for a couple of reasons, number one is there's a lot of things that need to be canceled when you're on a plane, a lot of noise and the second thing.
It's the altitude and the cabin pressure and all that combined with pushing something in your ear makes it a strange experience and for me I just don't like having those extra things happening. I like to have an over the ear where my ear can still breathe, I don't know if that's the right term for it, but I don't have something that I've stuck in my ear to keep my ears from bursting naturally or do whatever I'll be back soon and do a full review of the Air Pods Pro and of course I want to spend a little more time with them in different situations and things like that.
I've been riding my boosted Rev scooter a lot. with a helmet so they will definitely fit my ear a little better and with the noise cancellation option allowing you to still hear what's going on around you. I'm interested in seeing if I would like to listen to an audiobook. and I have a little bit of noise filtering but not enough that I feel like I'm in danger and I can't hear if any situation is approaching me so I'll be back soon with a full review of them so be sure to subscribe thank you very much for watch this video and I know it's a little bit longer video.
I definitely enjoy having conversations about technology. I think it helps us make better purchasing decisions. I like having those kinds of conversations with people in my life, so I hope you enjoy having that kind of conversation with me here in this video. We'll continue in the comments section below and I hope to see you back here in the next one. Take care of yourself.
