AirPods Pro vs AirPods 2 - Real Differences after 1 week!

Feb 27, 2020
I have been using the airport pros every day for the last

week

and I have to say yes they are

real

ly good but they are not perfect and have some disadvantages compared to the regular aerial Potts. I'll let you know exactly. what they are, along with who should upgrade and who shouldn't, let's start with the biggest concerns I had when Apple released the original

airpods

, they basically freed me from the biggest drawbacks of the headphones. I love using

airpods

since they are separate. The design of the pod not only allows me to put on just one earbud and without me having to pull a cable or anything else, but also the fact that it doesn't cover my ear so I can be aware of my surroundings and then comes the new air pod. pros I was worried about losing consciousness due to the seal but Apple has done some kind of magic with the ambient mode and with the pros I can hear my surroundings better now yes I have used similar features with other headphones but they are usually just a little off or it sounds fake and digital, nothing I've heard comes close to the natural and precise quality of the pro ambient mode, a big part of this can definitely be due to the apples pressure equalization vents, this thing is crazy, A big reason why I don't often use my Galaxy Buzz is that, like most in-ear headphones, they cause pressure in your ear when you insert them, which makes them a little less comfortable, but like most people, I'm not complaining about this because that's the norm with this The style in this design but at the same time not having that pressure is something I love about regular headphones and Apple figured out how to get the best of both worlds with the pros.

It's actually a little strange that you put them in your ear and they get clogged. as usual, but about two seconds later you feel the pressure disappear. Wow, that being said, one thing I discovered last

week

is that for long listening sessions, even with this new ambient mode, the pressure valve and plastic tip do not fit into the ear. They are not as comfortable as regular headphones for very long listening sessions, but they are still much more comfortable than other headphones like the Galaxy buds or the powerbeats pro. As for battery life, it's fantastic. I was a little worried about Apple's lower rating for high volume playback, but in my experience it seemed better than my new pair of airpods.

Searching online I found the sound guys review where they got about an extra hour of battery life with the pros at about 75 decibels and that was actually a witness. cancellation on I fix it and found that the pro battery is almost double the normal one so it makes sense in the charging case and now it has two battery cells instead of one and of course it's a little bigger. I have a few pairs. of tighter jeans and with those, the advantages of the larger case were more noticeable in my pocket, not a huge difference, but something worth mentioning.

Then come the controls. I have never liked the tapping required before but it worked and now I have to grab and Press the stem a little bit it sounded a little strange at first but after about a week I liked it a lot more. As soon as you press, there is a small click that tells you that your interaction was recorded and now that I'm used to it, it feels much better. instead of touching the pod and also allows more options, now in terms of audio quality. I've heard everything from they sound almost the same to surprise, they sound much better and I'm on the latter end, but it

What you are listening to, listening to podcasts and audiobooks has the least difference in quality, as both can reproduce voices quite well, but what does help a lot is the noise cancellation, especially if you are listening at lower volumes or in noisy environments. The first audio comparison. I did it with a pretty bassist Ong on YouTube and I didn't notice much of a difference. Then I listened to some EDM rock and classical music which really showed the difference, the more complex the track the more the pros shine and along with that. The higher the audio quality, the greater the difference.
I started a title test and compared it to some master files and there's a big difference there, but like I said, if you listen to bass-heavy single tracks, especially on really compressed formats, you're not going to notice there's a big difference overall, they sound very well and balanced without too much exaggeration and flatter than the highly praised and often compared Sony WF 1000 XM three with a name as conceived by the sound team, but still offers good richness. sound that most people will really enjoy. Another concern I had was the volume. I love how loud the air pots can go, something they have to do to drown out other sounds, whereas the sealed Galaxy earbuds are often too quiet, especially when you have tracks that aren't properly normalized and that becomes a problem.
The first Basie track it was compared to sounded a little quieter on the pros so I was worried, but when listening to better quality content the volume seemed about the same and then playing master tracks. The title resulted in the pros making more noise than the Air Pods. The only way this makes sense is that the professionals have inward-facing microphones that will actually equalize the audio specifically for your ears and limit distortion, which means they were probably tuned to low-quality songs. to limit distortion, but high-quality tracks can be played at higher volumes. I can't prove this, but everything else points to this conclusion and with good audio quality volume is not an issue.
The last thing I want to cover is noise cancellation, there's just Sometimes I grab other headphones instead of Air Pods and that's mostly when I need to block out noise with the pros. I won't have to look elsewhere or bring two pairs of headphones for noise cancellation when I go on a trip. They're not as good as the year-old 1000 M noise. The cancellation is more than enough, so now I could travel with the Air Pods and not have to carry other headphones. Overall, what have I learned in the last week? Well, first of all, Apple has a clear winner on its hands with good audio.
It sounds fantastic, battery life is excellent, comfort is class-leading, handling is improved, and noise cancellation is good enough to replace dedicated headphones. I also learned that if you listen to low quality audio, especially those that don't have a lot going on, when it comes to instruments and sounds, the difference in audio quality is not huge and you shouldn't upgrade just because the comfort is good if you wear normal headphones and they fit well and you wear them for very long periods of time, say three, four or five. hours, they're still a little more comfortable since they don't have anything actually going into your ear canal if you're on the fence deciding whether it's worth the extra money to buy or upgrade.
I would say that for the majority it is definitely thanks to everyone. To watch, if you want to see our full review of the Air Pods Pro, you can click there.
