Abbau der LEGO Stadt... | Das Ende einer ÄraFeb 18, 2023
I know it's been a while since the last update video but a lot has progressed in the last few weeks from the renovations completed on the future Lego Museum to the decommissioning we are about to begin all that has been progressing is today on a video for you, the first thing I have to do is, of course, take care of the most important thing in the city, that is, that all the houses and buildings arrive safely. That is by far the most important thing and where I spend the most time. in that, when it comes to the modules, i'll start with that right now to get out the ones where a Gandalf appears, there's just no way to prevent one or the other part of the plant from breaking during transport, I just have to go back to place the really big things, like trees or things that stick out.
I'll also remove them all sometimes, like here, in this case, this big slab that I transported as a whole because the paving pattern wouldn't have worked otherwise. On the back of the old Lego city design, I just had to do things from time to time to completely rip it off, yes, there was no other way, even if it's really painful, but among other things, there were pieces that just I couldn't keep using it because of the facilities, which are completely different there, that means something deep down in the background of the city I just had to rip it out completely I can't use it again to dismantle all the train routes after that, for of course it was something that was quite annoying because it held all the modules together and so i had to remove them first exactly the same goes for roads of course they had to remove them first and then i was able to remove the individual modules i kept going I overlooked a little thing here and there and I built on top of it sometimes it was extra but basically and you could see right here I pulled this modular build relatively well here I have it now I had such a module built on twice but not even anymore I don't even know if that was the intention, it could be that with the transition of the lake and the shore and so on, I actually wanted it and I will be 100%.
I lose track of things here because like I said it's just the part that I just pushed aside, things will be transported right into the western room and then at the end it's going to be like a puzzle that puts us back together again I think something Transport in The city is one hundred percent the most dangerous are the mountain modules, especially those at the back because of the height and sometimes also the mass of stones, what weight do these things have, for example, you can't lift the band, so I had to lift them of the main mass and then there are other pieces like that now for example yeah if we don't break it apart I'll actually be surprised when it transports so I've already mentally said goodbye to it to pick up the pace a bit basically with the In the rest of the city, I always removed all the houses first, which I put away neatly because, as mentioned, it's the most important thing. , and then I sorted through the individual modules, some of which I now transport in these Ikea boxes on the floors because they're just a little more solid and some have them.
I'll show you the ones that go to the side in moving boxes. I will of course show you quite calmly, there are also several large pieces here that I really didn't want to break, for example, in the train station, that the platform overlaps the train station and all possible modules, which means I'll probably transport such a large piece at a time again. The port was relatively modular, which basically wasn't a major problem. Dismantling seems so easy here in particular. Actually, I only needed four days for the dismantling and then nothing is stored or transported. Somehow here in the urban space there are still some modules that I haven't been able to accommodate anywhere because and I'll take them with me on a tour for a moment.
It currently looks like this here: all the moving boxes are already packed here, some with upper town buildings here are half-timbered houses the church and so on here are the modules where I really don't know how well they will survive but i had to make it stack them to the side so we decided to go further now because it is still going to be here better also all the moving boxes that are already packed this is currently the puzzle that is from the mountain at the beginning it will be very difficult to transport, we've already broken a stander down here so I'll have to pack it really well for transport if by the way they just asked you where the moon base was haha well that was the time which is satisfying to pack. you can see the whole moon base fits in an ikea box which couldn't have been better in this case and i've seen it on a video clip in 5 minutes the thing was dismantled so not a problem not at all, especially compared to the city and before. now we switch to the new location and see what happened now comes a massive nostalgia kick look what's here under the plate.
The plate was stored for two years, who can still remember it, of course, it is practically deserted at the moment. , but the metro station is finally getting reactivated in the new location so I can't wait any longer, the thing is already fully wired and lit and everything around it doesn't look so good at the moment it needs a basic restoration I would say and So I'm going to the new location where the first thing I have to do is prepare the platform for the Lego city. Now I have it back done in such a way that I probably overdid it a bit with the star but on the one hand it puts a lot of weight on it and on the other hand I have to be able to walk on the platform so the thing is built of pretty solid way.
I just started with the L, which I already did on the I also have the old Lego City Layout, which means we'll start with it as kind of a base for the city and then expand. Windows will also be partially installed. The wood frame was put together then stapled to the shade and cut because I had to use it and that was by far the best way it was really nice to get it. Of course I had to do that again with the other window up the stairs, it also had the advantage of being up the stairs, there I couldn't have done it.
I drilled that it's the only solution that worked really well there before I go into detail about the future design of Lego City very briefly the back here in my work area because here now you can see the first part has been moved, I mean the individual parts I've now rearranged again over several days so I can put the small parts back here on this wall in the small parts magazines you see this here I just tried a little I'll order a bunch of things then sort the smallest amounts of pieces everywhere and on the opposite side behind me then these boxes I took earlier there are large amounts of the same stones in the middle then there is a huge elongated whoop that I can build several projects at the same time , maybe on the side that will also show up depending on how many individual magazines you have at the end and then of course this area has to be visually delineated so there is a wall now is the next plan you see here these are baby blue curtains that they're relatively similar to the color of the wall, not exactly the same color but relatively similar and now I'll probably do them by running them along this column, so to speak, the one under the ceiling here Installation and so it should be a visual delineation that don't disturb the landscape of the western world as far as the new
legocity design is concerned this is roughly the area that was already built up when we transferred the entire city except for this corner that ran yeah so strangely pointed out then i'll just have I need to expand back or I generally want to restructure some things in the rural area and going out here so that's all the area I still have to add but I'll also use the wooden plates these USB plates of the old
legostand design recycled because they are exactly the same thickness i paid attention to that which means i can just plug them in here plus the pillars are also exactly the same height which saves me a lot of money and well the old one would just be unnecessary otherwise otherwise, throwing things logically means that now that the city is free, I can dismantle the wooden plank there, things can be added here and we would have created more space on the side where the western world comes from, I'll wait a little longer because I'd like to temporarily using this empty plate because the modules are in staging while I'm in the process of rebuilding the city because it won It won't be that easy because with the puzzle pieces I'm not really in the mood to spread things all over the floor that means that the western world will not be planned not to settle so quickly, which just occurred to me. you had commented that you think it's pretty good if the build area is open because you can also walk up here as a visitor which means under certain circumstances I could curtain just up to here build and then it's basically open here so you can't look inside I don't think that makes much sense but you look at my work area and if you're visiting there you can see future projects so to speak up to the window as far as construction goes so you can see there's still light right now, which means I can give you a good impression of how much light is actually coming in here.
I've reviewed this a bit. This is not really here to see the wood, but it was good for me that is not the case now because first it was a little more difficult to install and second it is not visible at the end of the day which means that you did not do what was important here My thinking is nicer now because a little bit of light filters through here when it's open I can show it right away if you don't hang this corner with curtains again so it catches a little bit of light because when it's dark yeah then it's just the extreme amount of light shining in from below which generally disturbs the atmosphere in this room a bit, what of course shouldn't be missing is the obligatory before and after panning with the crossfade of what it looks like now with the panel wooden empty almost a bit sad to experience the swing but the new city would be so much better for that by the way forgive me the last few weeks on my channel have been a bit of radio silence it was an amazing amount of organizing work to do now, not just sort stones, dismantle, renovate, etc., and so on.
Which I was only able to partially do with the film. I mean, by the tenth stage call it gets boring for you. at some point so forgive me for the break two and a half weeks from now the program will go live properly as soon as all the modules in the city have been moved then everything will be fine We're going with a city of Lego update after another, the western world will continue to be built, of course it still has to be solved, but that's a whole different chapter for today's video, we definitely would have reached the end first, thank you very much for watching, excuse me again for the upload late and see you next time
