A Day in the Life of an NYU Student | New York University

Hello everyone, today I will be delighted to invite you to see a day in my

life

as a

student

at NYU. I really hope you enjoy watching this and feel like you're with me since I don't live on campus. I usually travel by subway or when the weather is nice I prefer to walk, there is really no rush for me because the way I set up my schedule for this semester is that most of my classes are in the afternoon, I usually have about one or two per day and that really gives me enough time to get involved in other things too.

At first, as a freshman, I always had this fear of workload and generally adjusting to college

life

, but at NYU it's been very fluid and I love the freedom to pursue what you really want. we are interested in doing. The options and opportunities you have in front of you are limitless. My specialization is media culture communication and it is very interesting. I'm extremely happy with the program there are so many different directions you can take if you're interested in PR entertainment social media so far. I've really been trying to cover all the core requirements classes so that next year I can focus on something more specific whenever I have an hour between my classes, I usually eat something and spend some time in one of Kimmel's classrooms working on homework or other projects.

Kimmel is also known for being the center of

student

life, so people come here to study or attend their club meetings, so there is always a lot going on in this building, as you may already know, and it is located in Washington Square Park and is considered their campus, when it's sunny you can find crowds of students passing by or just having fun outside, but the day I was filming it was very quiet, my classes range from giant lectures to smaller seminars like this one, for example, this class is Cultural Analysis of Media and right now we are doing a lot of things with movies and I like it a lot after my classes, if I still have work to finish, I usually go to the library and Bs is huge, let me tell you so many stories, so many things different to find here and it's fascinating right now, it's midterm season. so it's very crowded at all times some people come here to strictly study others sleep and it's just a mix of everything.

I like to find a quiet place for myself somewhere among the books and spend some time there at night once I'm done. For everything I have planned, I usually take the NYU bus back home and the transportation system is very convenient, it takes students to their dorms and since I don't live too far, it works for me too, so this is how my typical day goes.
