This Dana Carvey thought he knew all the words to the song, but he figured it out. It was established pretty quickly that he definitely didn't and since Wayne's World was filmed in just 34 days, there wasn't time for him to go and learn the words, which is why you can clearly see in all of G's close-ups that he It's faking your way through the song by lip-syncing your best guess as to what the real lyrics were, which is the same thing I do every time I listen to Rappers Delight, which we're not going to play either, we're going to move on, though one more thing about the Bohemian rap city sequence turns out all that headbanging wasn't as fun as it sounds Mike Myers and Dana Carvey were complaining that their necks really hurt, the guys in the backseat were okay with that, but it got to the point where that Mike Myers didn't even want to do the scene, insisting it wasn't funny and that people would never hit their heads like that, which

I know a great I have the cream of a young guy now that line was improvised and it actually created a huge debate about whether the line was even funny and if they should keep it in the movie, by the way, Rob Low was a person who He actually defended keeping the line, but the clincher was when they included the joke during a test screening and the audience laughed so much that they missed the next lines of dialogue that came afterward. world

was possibly the worst job on set, you wouldn't believe how much work was done just in G's room. Dana Carvey would have the prop master go through dozens of drafts of each prop trying to figure out what he could get the most out of. Comically, then after Carvey finally chose something, Mike Myers would come in with his own notes on each prop, plus needing to see multiple versions of the props that were already in the script.

He was probably busy playing the drums because he's actually playing the drums here in G's little fantasy sequence. His drumming skills may not impress any of the real musicians, but you have to do it. I admit that he is a great drummer for a comedian.
Wow, you are amazing, thank you. I like playing Wayne's World is the most successful movie based on a Saturday Night Live franchise, and by a wide margin, as you probably imagined, Lauren Michaels was very Hands. As a producer of the film, but most people don't know that Dana Carvey was very influential in how Rob Low portrayed Benjamin. Dana Carvey actually coached Rob Low on how to do a Lauren Michaels impression and if you listen closely you can hear how Robo used that. very subtle impression in some of Benjamin's speech patterns no, no, I'm producing a television show, it's in Chicago very late at night, but we're looking for a musical act, uh, here's my card, there's a number where I can contact you, listen.

Come on, there it is, let's end it with something about a snake even though it was written in the script that Cassandra was supposed to have a hard time handling the snake. It turned out that Tia Carrer didn't have to do much in the end, the snake was about 80 pounds so it really was a struggle to deal with it. The snake weighs a ton, it looks great on you if you add in having to hold a guitar. and lip sync for the fake music video, your fake footage at the top, well let's just say I suddenly have a little more respect for Britley Spears, excuse me, baking powder, just kidding, no, no, no, I have At least, we hope you like today's.
