(car transforming) (upbeat music) (tires screeching) We bought two almost identical Nissan 350Zs and have been modifying them to be fun, everyday drivers that you can take to the track. - A lot of expensive pieces are placed on one Z and cheap pieces are placed on the other Z. - Then we test them to see which components are really worth your hard-earned money. - We have greatly improved the performance of our Nissans and it is time to customize them a little.

We are changing the exterior of the cars as well as the exterior of ourselves because we are now officially Z boys. If you want to change the color of your car, you basically have three options. Traditional paint job,

or Plasti Dip. The sheen of a concourse-level paint job is absolutely intoxicating. But a perfect paint job like that is not only incredibly expensive, it takes forever. So I'm going to take the happy medium: I'm going to wrap my car in professional vinyl. $3000. - I'll be Plasti Dipping my car on hand. Plasti Dip offers many of the same benefits as vinyl, but for a fraction of the price.

It's relatively easy to do, I hope. The only downside is that it will never look as good as a real paint job and it is not as durable. But more importantly, does it look better for $2500? - I'm leaning towards a difficult maybe. - Possibly. - Probably. - We'll see. I think the lesson learned from this is to find a car with good paint and detail it. Looking at the pictures again, I think, "Huh, I miss that car is silver, or..." I definitely miss that your car is white. - It's such a pretty pearl, arctic white. Over time we will remove those things. We'll keep some blue elements because I really like the color, the tone of that blue. But I really want to go back to white eventually.
