Feb 27, 2020
Hello guys, welcome to my channel. There's no long Dharana interconnect like there normally is like you guys, so I hope you don't miss it, but today I'm doing five different DIY projects with Dollar Start. Most of it is Dollar Tree and I have one thing that came from Dollar General, that's why I call it

dollar

store

DIY. This is all

farmhouse

decor

, super

simple

and easy to make, so let's jump right to you, the first one I'm using is something. I bought it at Goodwill, it was 209 for this frame. I love the way it looks and knew I could reuse it without having to tear it up or paint it.

I just ripped the galvanized elements off of it and kept it. them in case I decide to do something else, but yeah, that's all I did here and then I grabbed this home sign from Dollar Tree. This is pretty new, so I'm pretty sure you can pick it up. They also had words. That said family in love in other words like that, but I simply separated them. I actually saw April from April Adair stock use these letters and she didn't even know they broke up, that's easy, so I thought I'm definitely going to break them up.

Besides because it's a very clever idea, there were some staples here or like some little nails, so I took them out or I ripped them out with pliers or I thought they're called, it doesn't matter what they're called. They're called, I'm wearing these, you guys know what they are, I know what they are, but right now I can't think of the name, but we're okay, I'm wearing it, these are three different grays, there's a silver gray and a I can't. paint, it's gray, I think that's what it's called in Artesia and I'm just going to give them a galvanized look.

I didn't print any of that out for you because I'm going to keep going over it with the gray I started with. with the gray and then I went with a darker one and then I went with this silver. I always recommend doing it with this silver one on top. This is actually the first galvanized type thing I've done in a long time so I kind of forgot how to do it but we're just winging it like I said I picked the gray and then the dark gray and then the silver and I think if I just you use silver for the top, it doesn't matter which way it says, but here we are, this is what I'm doing for the H and the M in the E, how do the stars show up?

Well, I'm just wearing this crown. I actually ripped this off a sign on a house that I bought at Walmart on clearance, I think last spring, like I said, I always try to keep this whole thing random because you never know when you're going to need it. I know it could be a hoarder type thing, but I'm guessing it's the artisanal type. You never know you'll always be able to use it and I could definitely use this little wreath for a ton of different crafts, so I finally figured out what to do with it and just took apart all the flowers I had. and now I'm heat gluing everything and I actually thought this fit perfectly when I started and then after everything was painted, vandalized, etc.
I realized the M was too big to fit here so of course , I. I thought, are you kidding me? I just did all this work and I don't have anything else that is square and is going to fit, so I ended up using this and the M&IE's are a little bit off the edges and I think it's totally fine. I still think it looks really cute. So I'm just using some of these little boxwood greens that I bought at Walmart and I have to say they are destroyed because I do tons of DIY with these so I always had just a little bit left over every time I do a craft I feel like there's always a little bit left over leftover and then I put it away and I have like a box of these things uh yeah and I'm only going to do it around three o'clock it's so far away show us where we are what makes the sun go to sleep every night and what does it dream about Me I wonder how the sky sometimes hides behind the clouds maybe it's like me, a little scared of heights, why is this next? rooster.
I bought this at Dollar General last year. I think it was 50 or 75 percent off. I'm pretty sure it's 50 percent off, so it's two

dollar

s and fifty cents and I love the way it looks, except I think the leaves are something like that. like they look too fake to me, so I just ripped them off and then I cut these stems off and then all I'm going to do is paint around them. I just wanted this to be white so you can't take the You can't take the basket away unless you really want to destroy everything and redo it and that's definitely not what I wanted to do so I just took my Waverly chalk paint in white and I just paint all over a little white rooster always keeps pulling down when he scratches it really makes me wonder yeah it makes me wonder it really makes me wonder he walks great and then for the bottom I was just going to use black. but I decided to use this darker gray that I had.
I only had a little bit left over from the house sign I just made so I thought why not use the rest, the paint isn't much and I gave it two coats because the white was so wet I got a little impatient so I gave it I gave it two coats and yes, I love the way it stands out. I think it's super cute and I just used a little bit of paint to make a huge little makeover of the

tree

s, cats that I trust when it's cold and don't miss the leaves they left. Could it be to do this next DIY?
It was probably the most expensive one I've made in a long time and you think it would be super cheap because you buy everything at Dollar Tree for a dollar. Well, this one cost me over five dollars because I use four of the little square signs or

decor

ative pieces. This love sign. I'm actually repurposing this from a Valentine's Day DIY I just didn't like Valentine's Day this year so I made a Valentine's Day video and I didn't even decorate it so I just broke a lot of things but I hope it gave you some kind for inspiration if you looked at that and Then I just took the way of painting with white chalk and I'm painting all the frames white and I also decided to paint the letters white as well as the L and the V.
It's very easy because they're already kind of white , so that was super easy. I don't know why he went back and forth between these letters, but I doubt he didn't feel like painting them. I don't know what it was, but yeah, so we're really talking blank. fourth letter, so I'm just using scrapbook paper, this is from Hobby Lobby, four for a dollar, I always buy it when it's four for a dollar. I don't know if it's always on sale, white or 69 cents a piece, I don't know. I know, but I paid four dollars anyway and then I'll use it for the back of all the squares.
I actually end up flipping the squares because I didn't want to have to remove the paper and I feel like it just takes a lot of time to just use some Mod Podge and just patch these little guys in there. I just cut out squares like I said and this is what I'm using as the background, so everything is the same. It really makes me wonder and I'm just using some hot glue to put the backs back on the frames, this is a little tricky and I don't know why maybe it's not for everyone but maybe it's just me you really have You have to push these back parts down or they won't fit.
That's just me, I'm struggling and then you really have to push it down, you feel like you're going to break these frames, but you don't, or at least I didn't. I can't say it wouldn't happen. for everyone, but yeah, you just have to give it a little bit of strength, meaning all the frames were together. I decided to hot glue all four so there were two on the bottom and two on the top and yeah, that's all I used. it was hot glue so I just glued all the edges and glued all the boxes together. Oh, I'm just taking the letters that I painted and I'm hot gluing them directly onto the boxes and here I go again without assuming that all the letters are going to fit perfectly there.
I didn't even take into consideration that the V wasn't going to fit, but I made it work and then just used a succulent for the O. I actually had this left over from last year and I love it. this one because it's big and it's like a lighter color, I think it's really pretty and now I'm just taking the Waverley wax in the antique and I'm going to dry brush it along the edges and the crevices and everywhere. This for all of these frames you can see it's a little bit messy and I guess when it looks like this you can go back in with your white paint and go over it again and it looks like a whole new piece so that's exactly what I did. because I knew my brush had too much paint for some reason or I just didn't, I didn't get enough, that's really what happened, uh, but yeah, so I went back with my white chalk paint and just painted.
I check this again and it looks fine after that, no big deal, now come on. The stars come to shine when it's dark from so far away. Well, he'll show us where we are. It really makes me wonder. Thank you. I just wonder. It really makes me wonder, yeah what? He makes me try to give you my heart next. I'm using these little mason jar signs and these were left over from fall and I already painted one and then never did anything with it so I'm just going to do another layer. of the wavelet chop paint in whites that I used before this.
I think I was going to do some kind of Christmas DIY and I never did like I said in previous videos. I really just wanted to use what I have because it saved me a lot. of money on this, I already spent the money on this stuff anyway, so I might as well use it and not let it go to waste and I just use my Silhouette to print this and I'm just going to put the transfer paper on top and just uh, no I know what you want to call it, transfer it to the sign.
I guess that's what you want to call it. Yes. I'm going to transfer this directly to the sign and I love when you remove the transfer tape. you don't have a silhouette. I'm going to try to find something similar to this so you guys can do something similar like this. This is as satisfying as watching this transfer tape come out. I got nervous because I didn't do it. I want the paint to come off on one side and luckily it didn't, but I think this is really cute and I always forget how much I love the farm animal theme.
I don't know, I just feel like I haven't done anything like that. this in a long time and it felt really good to make this and then here's more this like a box of greenery from Walmart you can buy it in a package for 97 cents green and I haven't seen it in a long time maybe I'm back because It's like this spring now, but who knows and then I also had some leftover flowers from the Dollar Tree. I think it's Queen Anne's lace, that's what it was. Seriously, I only had a couple of pieces lying around and I thought it would be really cute for the center, but my camera died watching, you didn't see me put them up, but it really wasn't a big deal, there you go, didn't you know it really didn't did you have to see?
If you want, I'll attach the flowers. Well, my battery ran out. I'm so sorry, but yeah, I just hot glued them, so there you have it. I love how it turned out. I think it's very cute. I thought that week or get. Well, no juice, this latest DIY almost brought me back to my new original YouTube days. I loved using moss on succulents for almost everything. I bought this wreath at a garage sale. It was a dollar, but you can get them at Dollar Tree. I also love this moss from the Dollar Tree this year, it's like new, it has like some crunchy crushed pine cones on it, like other than this white moss, I love the way it looks and I'm just taking hot glue and putting the moss all over it and I only used one bag of this moss.
I didn't cover the whole wreath I just covered the top but that's exactly what I wanted because I was using this as a vine wreath so I think it looked nice with the little vines sticking out of the sides and then I decided to grab some succulents. I've had succulents for years. I have destroyed DIY. I can't say they haven't destroyed DIY. I know it may sound terrible, but you think that if you watched all my videos again, I would have probably made over 300 or more crafts, which sounds crazy, but can you imagine having 300 crafts like that in your house?
It blows my mind to think about how many things we do on YouTube. It's crazy, so I don't know if you don't watch YouTube, you watch to see how much we put into things like this, like how much work and how much money and how much time, and then destroying something is like It's almost like killing myself, but at the same time it's really exciting to make new crafts for you, so yeah, there's my little rant for the day, I don't know, but that's it guys for the video. I hope you enjoy. I made sure to give it a thumbs up if you're new to my channel hit the subscribe button below and I hope you enjoyed this DIY
