5 AMAZING Vinegar HACKS!

If you ever see me wandering around the grocery store, there's a 50% chance you'll see a jug of

vinegar

in my cart, and that's because we consume a lot of

vinegar

here at CMS HQ and not because we like to pickle things. or eating a lot of fish and chips is because vinegar is an

amazing

cleaning product. Those of you who have watched our videos for a long time know that vinegar is like our best friend here, so in this video I'm going to share with you five. great ways you can use vinegar to clean the house and just a quick reminder, if you haven't already, to subscribe to the clean my space channel and like this video if you've cleaned with vinegar at least once since I watched the clean my space videos, just a few quick facts about vinegar before we get started, you may be wondering why vinegar is such a great cleaner.

I mean, it's cheap, it's available, and many of us already clean with it, but we may not know it. Because? Here it is, first of all, it is a great deodorant. You might think it's counterintuitive because vinegar stinks good in some people's minds. It stinks, but for some reason vinegar can find those terrible smells, trap them, and get rid of them. The next thing it does is it lifts dirt and grease off a surface, so it makes a great degreaser, it's really great at removing dirt, which is why I love using it for cleaning, and ultimately it leaves a nice streak-free shine, so That's a fantastic glass cleaner.

Now just a couple. Things to keep in mind when using vinegar, it can be harmful to your eyes if it gets in your eyes so keep in mind that 5% white vinegar is what you should look for. Some people say you need this. fill it up, can't you just get 5% plain white vinegar and finally, make sure you don't use it on natural stone surfaces like travertine marble or quartz because over time it can ruin the finish when you choose your products at the supermarket you'll probably notice that some of your produce has a waxy coating on it and that's just a combination of pesticides and other products that are used to protect your produce while it's in transportation and to make it last longer, but honestly, I probably don't want to eat it, I mean, no. it would be fruits and vegetables if it were blah blah blah, FDA approved, but that still doesn't mean you have to ingest it to get rid of that stuff.

Just make up your own simple product clock and it's very easy to do. It's going to take equal parts, so let's say one cup of water, one cup of white vinegar and to that you're going to slowly add two tablespoons of baking soda. You can now. Put this in a spray bottle or if you have something, say, like lettuce or some grapes, you can pour it directly into a clean sink or a container and then you'll spray it over your produce or place it inside. that sink or sink and let it sit for a few moments if you're soaking something you can let it sit for about 10 minutes like berries, grapes or lettuce and if you're just sprinkling it on an item you can let it sit. because you know, two, three minutes, the baking soda, the good thing about this is it helps remove things and you can always sprinkle a little bit more if you want, just make sure you rinse it well, dry it and now. your products are clean and ready to be eaten, perhaps what makes vinegar most famous in the cleaning world is glass cleaner and many of you know that I have been using this recipe for years, but I am going to share it again because if you are not using it, you should leave the glass cleaner that you are using now and do this and use it instead, get a clean spray bottle and in it you will add equal parts of water and white vinegar.

Also, if this is a very good opportunity for me to do it too, but you can clean your dishwasher very easily with nothing more than vinegar and baking soda, so this is the way I like to do it, empty your dishwasher before go to bed your dishes stacked on the counter are fine, you'll be fine, so take a cup of baking soda and throw it in the bottom of the dishwasher, let it sit there, that will help deodorize things overnight and then in the morning, what are you going to do? do?

In that baking soda and water mixture it may sound gross, but the vinegar and baking soda are coming together and will break down detergent odor deposits and other bacteria and all that kind of junk that builds up in the dishwasher over time . pick it up and let it rip again, you want the cycle to be super hot, the sanitizing cycle if possible and once that's done your dishwasher will smell better and look a lot better too, then you can take those dishes out on your counter, load them and carry on forward. with your day, vinegar also helps when you are doing laundry and you can use it as a laundry enhancer, so simply a laundry enhancer helps your detergent work better so you don't have to buy anything fancy, you can just use white vinegar . and you can put it in the little pre-rinse compartment if you have one or you can put it in your machine while it's filling with water and then just let it soak.

Now what I do is I put my detergent in my machine and then I just pour a bunch of vinegar into all the different compartments the bleach compartment the fabric softener compartment prewash whatever has vinegar goes in there because it helps lighten or brighten the fabrics depending of the color of the fabrics, it helps to soften them and also helps to deodorize them, so if something smells a little bad, the vinegar will help you, so you can just take your clothes, hang them to dry or put them in the dryer and you will notice a difference now, Don't worry about your clothes.

We're not going to come out smelling like vinegar a long time ago, when we started making cleaning videos on Myspace, to be specific, on February 6, 2011, I put on a black dress and filmed a video on how to clean cutlery and it was advice . I learned that working in a steakhouse and I've never forgotten it because it works so well, so I'm not talking about cleaning the cutlery instead of putting it in the dishwasher, if that's what you do, I'm talking about knowing when the cutlery starts to get dirty. If you have those strange stains or if there is some food stuck to your cutlery or if you have guests over, you just want your cutlery to really shine well, here's what you do: take boiling water over a cup and to that you'll add a cup of white vinegar .

Now you can place it on a pyrex plate or you can even put it in a large container, then you will throw the cutlery into that container and let it sit.
