monthly

Costco trip Hey guys Kyra, here are 50 shades of mom tips for all the nuances of mom life and in today's video I have my February Costco

haul

so I went with a list Pretty decent and a good amount of items in mind. and then as soon as I walked in the door, Costco caught up with me and I ended up spending a little more than I intended, but I feel like that happens every time I walk into Costco and Target and sometimes Walmart. I know it's hard for me to say no, but needless to say, I still think I bought a good number of really interesting items that I'd like to share with you, so let me take them to the counter and I'll show them to you. what I got this time at Costco with

prices

That's how high my budget was 300 and I wasn't counting as I went, but I was pretty sure my cart seemed to be under budget or at least close to it, but when you buy from a bulk store things just add up. super fast, so when they gave me the total I had almost $100 too much, so that blew my mind a little, but here we'll start with similar non-food items, so I bought the Kirkland Signature Heavy Duty Trash. The bags are 18 gallons and there are 70 drawstring bags. I usually like the happy ones with the smelly stuff on them, but they ended up being a really good deal so I bought them and then I also bought the Kirkland Signature. disposable wipes, there are 10 60-count packages and every time I get the ones from Walmart, you guys have been writing and saying, "You shop at Costco, why don't you try their disposable wipes?

More Interesting Facts About,

400 monthly costco haul with prices...

They actually had a $3 discount, like this It was a perfect moment." to try it out, so I picked it up and then I picked up two of these Kirkland Signature purified water jugs, but some in the car because it has to go to Marissa, she, like me, doesn't like the water here and we use this to our coffee maker so I bought one for her and one for me and then it looked really amazing so it makes sense that green living is the brand and it's 2 6 liter trash cans for $15 I thought it was pretty amazing, It has no fingerprints and the small pedal.

I thought they would be good for the bathroom, so my kids take off their pull-ups and things in the morning when they get dressed and I just don't like being able to see them. I like that it has a lid that closes like a normal trash can so we can hide our trash and it's convenient for kids because it has a pedal and it's perfect for shopping bags to use as liners, so I thought 15 dollars was a good deal and then I bought the honest kids juice boxes, so there are 40 here, there are 8 of apple juice, 8 of berry lemonade, 8 of grape and then 16 of fruit punch.
400 monthly costco haul with prices
I mentioned that my kids like honest kids, but we didn't like the bags, they found it very hard to navigate, but since it's actually like a juice box, I thought it would be pretty good for them and this was a decent price, the non organic Capri Suns, 100% regular juice for $10 so why not buy these for the same price and then the Kirklands brand for 40 was also $12. So for me this was the best bang for my buck so I bought it for my kids and now we're going to head to the counter and So this is my produce section and even though it was kind of pricey it was a lot cheaper to get it there than in the normal supermarket, so I bought the package of blueberries.
I think Oh, 18 ounces, that's amazing, so that's really good, so I bought blueberries there. and then I bought the package of raspberries, I bought strawberries, they look very good, the strawberries that I have been buying at Walmart have not been good, so I am glad I bought Driscoll's that the kids are going to enjoy, that has a big jar and old. of the sweet angel cherry tomatoes, this way Maya and I can stop fighting over them, we got the organic Disney Gala apples for Mason and then they look pretty good, classic baby creams were also on sale, so They are bite size potatoes, they are non-GMO and it says it's a good tasting selection so I thought it would be pretty cool to try it because we usually buy the small potatoes from Trader Joe's so we really like them and/or I buy potatoes small red ones, so they looked pretty good, kind of similar to that. and they're all different colors, they're like red and yellow and dark brown, oh yeah, you can see a little bit better there, they're kind of similar to Trader Joe's.
I hope Li likes them and then Of course, I bought the mini sweet peppers that we put on these throughout the week and then the Qatari tomatoes. I think the last time we didn't finish them they went bad, but next week I have a lot to prepare and I'm going to film that for you guys to see because I'm going to a bachelorette party and I'm bringing a good part of the menu, so that one of the things I'm doing is Adele's tomato and dish, so I'm pretty sure. these will wait for a week so I can combine this and do that and then you guys, this Jimmy Dean sausage, it was an amazing deal.
I feel like I've talked about this once before coming from Costco, but this is three pounds three. pounds I thought this was just a two pound walk, this is a three pound log and it weighed eight and change. I think it's so good. I think I bought it at HEB one time and I got three for ten and I thought who was I so it was like a 333 shock and this is even cheaper so I'm really happy to part ways and throw it in the freezer because I use a sausage a often, something I also use often but didn't expect to be so expensive.
It was vanilla, so pure vanilla extract can definitely get expensive. I mean, when you buy a smaller one, it might cost four or five dollars. I was a little surprised that this was so expensive just because it's not even McCormick, it's kind of like that. like an off brand it only says pure vanilla extract but it says pure and this is a pretty decent sized 16 ounce bottle but it was $30 guys $30 which was crazy but when you compare it buying those little bottles for $5 that are only like an ounce. This is obviously the best deal, but I'll have vanilla for I don't even know six months or more, but we've been making our own cream, we tried it this week and it was good.
In fact, I tried it. It doesn't even have to be as sweet as it was the next time. I don't think I'll add the entire can of condensed milk this time. I just added more milk and made a larger batch with that same can because we didn't even need it that sweet so it's definitely an expensive purchase but something that will get used well but $30 just for that and then $20 just for this it's almost nineteen for the two pack of advil liqui-gels, but again, if you were to buy this at a store like capillary 40 it's like $8, so it's definitely the best deal, but when you buy something like this and you buy a couple of those big things, that's how you raise the price, I won't need it.
Advil for quite a while, so we have that for the cabinet and then I picked up this salt and pepper grinder. This is one of those things that had a seven at the end and an asterisk and there were literally only three or four. I was looking at them the last time I was there, but this time I opted to buy it just because I was looking for a pepper grinder. I have a huge container of peppercorns and I still buy that pepper grinder from the Dollar. Tree or the salt grinder for Dollar Tree, but it's not conducive to the dollar buying that when I could buy something like this and keep refilling it, especially when I already have the stuff inside to refill them and I think they're really pretty, I like the look beveled and the stainless steel, it will match pretty much anywhere you can carry them and display them, so I chose it I thought it was a good price and then I already told you about the Dell matzo and What I like is that it is sliced and ready to serve, so I'll use one for my snack boxes and one for the tomato and Cedella's plate for the bridal shower and then I'll jet dry them, that was something else.
The thing was ten dollars, I think it was, I mean Jush will last me a year, probably more than that, that jug will take forever to go through, but sometimes you have to bite the bullet to buy the big jug, so I I picked it up and they didn't even sell Persil at Costco so if I can't get it on sale Walmart is my only deal so I was a little disappointed. I was hoping to get some still there, but no such luck. I saw these cheese doodles from Annie. I saw them last time, but I had already bought a bunch of snacks, so I didn't want to add them to my list, but this time I didn't buy a bunch of snacks, so I bought these especially for the kids.
Since the little bag of chips was on my list for my usual weekly shop, these are just the extra cheddar cheese smiles, basically just organic cheese doodles, but I know my kids are going to like it and then I bought the bacon Kirkland Signature. This is the best offer. I'm not sure which one it was. You'll see the price on the screen, but it's still the best deal on bacon I've seen so far and this bacon turns out to be really good. I definitely will. Impressed, it's so much better than BJ's bacon, so I bought a package of that and then took some cheese to put in the food processor and then I'll freeze the shredded cheese portions.
I'll leave some in the refrigerator and freeze. the rest, so I have mild cheddar cheese and then Colby jack cheese. I bought some mayonnaise if I watched my meal prep video. I broke a macho between salads and ranch dressing so I really liked that and then I also bought some taco seasoning mix that we were using or I used the one from the Dollar Tree. I wasn't really a big fan of it so I bought McCormick's while we were there, this was a pretty decent price for you guys and this is just nuts which is something I talked about in my last grocery shopping that I was looking for.
I really like the trail mix that only contains nuts. I don't like anything overwhelmingly sweet. I can tolerate a crazy thing or a raisin, but otherwise no chocolate. M&Ms without candy or pretzel sticks I only like mixed nuts so when I found this I thought it was a good deal $15 and it has cashews, almonds, brazil nuts, walnuts, macadamia nuts, peanut oil and sea salt, That's it, so I'm excited. those those make me happy those are just for mom but now here are things for the kids so I packed the Boxee bars. Oops I'm throwing stuff on the stove so I picked up the Z bars and I think if these were the best compared to the regular big Clif bars so Jake really likes the regular Clif bars but the box had a different flavor which I don't think he ate and that's the time, the problem with buying from a bulk store, they make a variety. of flavors inside the box and then if you don't like that other flavor, what's the point of buying that big box?
So the regular big Clif bars I had half with chocolate chips and then the other was white chocolate with macadamia nuts and me. I just don't see Jake liking that, but the cliff kids, the Z bars have chocolate chip and then the frosted oatmeal cookie and then the chocolate brownie, so I definitely know if he likes chocolate brownie and the chocolate chips, and if he doesn't like it. the frozen oatmeal so I know the little kids will do it so they definitely won't go to waste and I like them as a good snack bar to give the kids in their lunchbox and then this is the one that Mason prefers so the frozen oatmeal can otherwise Mason will take these and this was an amazing deal so that's 12 raspberries, 12 blueberries and 12 of the original 36 fake bars guys for the $10.
I mean to me it's absolutely crazy this will last so, so long, that's why I had to step back and look at this grocery

haul

as a whole and say that a lot of this stuff will last quite a while and at least it's not just something for a month, so between We won't need snacks in those bars. bars for a couple of months so I bought them and then they didn't have that salami I bought last time. I guess it was more like something based on the Superbowl, so this pretty much says antipasto and I need one for the bachelorette party because I'm making that Italian hero ring that I made in my Super Bowl appetizer video, so I'll link to that above if you want to see it, but I just made an Italian hero baked inside a crescent ring. and then I'm going to do that for the bridal shower or some kind of derivative of that and then one, the other one, I'll use for my snack boxes and the gross one I'll use for the penne alla vodka and things like that.
I bought this and it wasn't a bad price for that, it wasn't as good as the other kit but still not bad. I bought some ground beef. I thought it was a good deal. I think this is probably the best ground beef for the best deal anywhere. Definitely grab your ground beef at Costco and then I bought some beautiful pork chops, look whatbeautiful they are. I think I bought pork chops last time and the last package is on the menu this week so it will last a while because we don't make it. pork chops every week and then I bought those chickens again.
These chickens came out absolutely perfect, as long as you tie them right, they last very, very well because they have to weigh about four, four and a half pounds to fit inside that rotisserie. until it shrinks like once it's on the track, actually any size would fit in there for the most part, but when you first load it in there and it starts to spin and it needs to be, you know, a decent size, then this says eight point four four pounds, so I guess you know about four pounds per bird, which is perfect, so I bought these to prepare my meal and then I bought butter, I don't know exactly if I'm going to need it this time, but I don't want to run out her because it cost nine dollars and the change was less than ten dollars.
I mean, that's even better than buying butter at Walmart, so take that and this time they had our produce bags, which is great because I had applesauce on my list last month, they didn't have them, but this month yes, it's twelve apples, strawberries and yellow carrots, and then twelve apples, mango. yellow carrot and peach, my kids will be happy to see them because they really love them and then I bought the sour cream Daisy. I didn't buy sour cream last week and it hurt a lot during taco night. She was looking forward to resupplying me. the refrigerator, this is the best deal for the three pound container.
The jzy sour cream can't be beat. I bought the eggs again. I couldn't believe I ended up with five dozen eggs and then had to buy another dozen and a half. I don't have eggs in the house anymore at the moment, so that was a little mind-blowing to me. We definitely check our eggs with meal prep so this is the best efficient price for eggs and they were good so go for those. I picked up the Panko Perdue chicken nuggets again. We still had some left over, but probably only a third of a bag, so we wouldn't have been able to get through until the next time we went, so maybe next time it won't be necessary. buy them, but these were four dollars off, so the Tysons were the ones I wanted, but they didn't have them, so it was the second time in a row that they even had the little picture on the sign showing that these and the Tison These had a four dollar discount, but the Tisons were nowhere to be found, so I know people like them better.
These are definitely good if you are looking for a good panko chicken nugget. These Perdues aren't bad at all, obviously. I bought them again but personally I like the Tison one, it's better and if they had them I would have bought them but they did have the Mrs. Jones, a sausage, now I know that Nicole Burgess said that she had heard that her store didn't sell them or that they weren't going to sell them anymore, she couldn't find them. I'm not sure what the deal was, but yeah. I mentioned these may not be in stores but this was in my store and I was excited to see it because we finished the last one during meal prep last week so Jake loves them and he's been breaking them in plus , Besides everything.
The last thing I bought was this rug. I love, love, love this mat. It is already soft and comfortable. I've been stepping on it just to check it out and it's really nice. I know they say like when you are. standing and washing dishes like that is very comfortable because it's good for your posture or whatever to be standing on something softer, but I like the fact that it doesn't move like you're trying to push it with your foot and it's not moving what I had there was this and this thing just slides everywhere and I was tired of putting it back and shaking it and sweeping it every day and that was also a great price for that, that a variety of different colors In fact, I showed it on my vlog so you guys had seen it but other than that that was my three hundred and ninety dollar Costco haul ok guys that's it for this month's Costco haul.
