to make all you need is a lot of melons and sugar so to make this let's start. making simple syrup that is equal parts water and equal parts sugar and I have the stove on medium low you don't want it to boil you just want the sugar to melt into the water once the sugar is completely melted you want to turn off the stove and set it aside so now the actual juice so we're going to need a lot of melons.I like cantaloupe, but any type of cantaloupe will work for this. I'll have measurements for all the
recipes
below in the info box for you guys so I just go ahead and chop up my melon and I put it in a blender and I'm going to blend it until it's all thinned out you want to get most of the liquid out of the actual fruit in its darkness and we're going to fill the rest of the jar with water and we're going to start adding our simple syrup a little at a time. This part you will definitely want to try as you go because many melons are going to vary in sweetness and that's about it, this is so easy to make and I like that it is best served on lots and lots of things.

I'm still sitting around cooling off for summer so now we're going to get into the actual brunch day recipes and the first thing I'm going to show you how to make is these
cheesy
baked
eggs
so in a big bowl I'm going to crack someeggs
I'm going to season them with salt and pepper and then I'll beat them well and then I'll add Parmesan cheese and then I start to beat it again and now as I'm whipping it I'll add some heavy cream to it you might as well use half and half if you don't want them to be too rich and I just make sure to add the heavy whipping cream a little at a time while I'm whipping and then at the very end I add some cheddar cheese and also some green onions. So I'm going to take my baking sheet and make sure it's nice and greased so nothing sticks and I'm going to cover the bottom with some cheddar cheese and then I'm going to pour the rest of the egg mixture on top. I've preheated my oven to 350 degrees and set the timer for 25 minutes, so while it's in the oven I can go ahead and start preparing the rest of the brunch. Next, we are going to make
candied
sausage
s. You can also use a hot dog. for this or any type of spicysausage
or just regular sausage if you like but this is very very easy all you are going to do is cut the sausage into very small pieces you want them to be as small as possible because you want them to be crispy really well and then you want to make sure your pan is super hot so I have it on medium-high no I don't need oil because the oil, the natural oils from the food, will come out and help caramelize everything so this will be the hardest part, just not touching them for about five minutes, let them brown and then you.I'll see once you start flipping them, they'll be nice and golden, so once my tap is nice, golden, and crisp, under the heat, I go ahead and add some maple syrup and bring it to a very high heat. low. for another five to 10 minutes until the syrup thickens and everything gets really nice and caramelized and
candied
and then I turn off the stove and leave it there and then I move on to my next dish, we're doing Frenchtoast
with cream cheese butter, for what we're going to classify by making the cream cheese butter so it can have time to set we're just doing equal parts butter and cream cheese and then about two tablespoons of powdered sugar and if you want to be cheesier you can add more cream cheese than butter and if you want to make it sweeter you can add more sugar so once it's all mixed well I put it on plastic wrap and it looks like a little ball and put it in the fridge and let it sit now for thetoast
French that I love usingvanilla
ice cream from a mix, so I mixvanilla
ice cream with eggs and also add some cinnamon and powdered sugar.I churn as much as I can and the ice cream will still be a little hard at this point so just set it aside and start working on the rest of my French toast and then I'll go back to it one ice cream melt completely and I churn it ok so for the bread i like to use some kind of brioche bread its like the perfect bread for
french
toast because it gets nice and crispy on the outside but looks nice and moist on the inside and then i make sure my pan is piping hot, i put it on medium high heat and add my butter you know your pan is hot when the butter starts to sizzle and then we go to go ahead and dip our bread into our egg mixture and then we'll put it in our pan and again don't touch it for a full four to five minutes you need to make sure it looks nice and golden on one side once you start to see it brown nicely you go ahead and flip it over to the other side and again let it sit for another four or five minutes so once they're done I like to dust them with powdered sugar and also top them with some sort of assorted berries so now that all of our food is done she's trying to plate everything up and I'm going to show you some little tips you can do to dress up your meals and make them look more elegant and festive.I look for leaves that are really full and have an interesting texture, like this kale here. I am using it to line the plate in which I am going to put our type of watermelon. You can put any type of fruit. this I love the contrasting colors of the green with the red I also love using mint leaves to garnish food so I'm adding some to the French toast and I also edited in our melon juice and once the eggs are done I chop them up with some extra cheddar and then some fresh green onions and this also adds a little bit of color and texture and now for the butter that we had in the fridge I went ahead and took the saran wrap off and played it with a nice little knife too I went ahead and put the syrup in a really cute bowl and added another Bowl of Berries, so in case people want extra berries on their French toast, it's easy to get to and those are my tips for your next DIY brunch.
