Toyota also released a Final Edition which just so happens to be It will look very similar to the 2020 Third Final Edition for the Middle East just keep in mind that as you research online many websites will probably use photos from the 2017 Final Edition but I will let you

know

what differences there are between the two here on this video to start with, let's discuss Due to the similarities, the 2023 Final Edition will be offered in the beige monochromatic paint scheme, which means that both the body and the roof will be painted in this color compared to the traditional body color with the white roof normally found on FJ Cruisers.

This beige color will also carry over to the interior and will be found on the center group door trim and even the seat upholstery, fun enough, not only is it similar to what came in the final 2017 edition in Japan , but it's also what Toyota did for the 2010 North American Trail Team special edition. I must love this color combination, but the beige or Sandstorm color is definitely suitable for the deserts of Saudi Arabia, as the FJ is famous for driving living in the sand dunes of this region. The final edition of 2023 will also have a black exterior treatment.
Bumper, grille, door handle and mirror trim pieces again similar to those found on the 2017 Final Edition and 2010 Trail Team Special Edition; However, this is where we start to see the differences unlike the Japan Final Edition which was designed to be more of a luxury model with its 20-inch wheels and lack of off-road traction aids, the Japan Final Edition 2023 will come complete with Toyota's active traction control or the a-track system's rear electronic locking differential and even crawl control, all of which are designed to work well in all four wheels low. In addition to the 20-inch wheels, the 2023 Final Edition will come with the FJ's classic 17-inch 7-spoke aluminum alloy wheels that have been used since 2014.
The 17-inch rim allows for tires with much more sidewall and the ability to vent effectively, making it a much better match for something used for off-road use rather than the 20-inch wheels of the previous 2017 Final Edition. This 2023 Final Edition will also be limited to just 1000 units, which makes it especially rare and will even come with special badges and parts to really differentiate them. Each Final Edition model will come with its own numbered dash badge and a stamped gas tank cover finished in metallic silver paint, and as far as the dash badge is concerned, unlike the 2014 North American model.
The Trail Teams Ultimate Edition models came with a special badge on the dash that read 2500 to indicate that it was just one of a total of 2500 units manufactured. The final three 2023 editions will have individually numbered badges unique to each unit. How cool is that! and I'll note that they're in a slightly different location on the dash than the special edition badges of the past, the gas tank cover will have a matching logo and final edition number stamped on it, and salute the rarest FJ parts Cruiser. developed, imagine having the final edition number one of 1000, wouldn't that just be the best?
Whoever gets their hands on these models will be especially lucky and I hope to see them in the wild, as you can see in most of the photos I found. So far, many of these models are sitting in showrooms or on dealer lots, they still have the protective plastics on and they haven't even installed the wheel center caps, so hopefully we'll start seeing them hitting the streets soon. dunes. These final edition models will too. They will be offered with Toyota's OEM bumper-mounted front fog lights and black spare wheel cover. They will also have other features found on Middle Eastern models, such as onboard air compressors and secondary fuel tanks.
You may have also noticed some special decals or chrome. decorative pieces in certain photos, are just distributor add-ons that are popular in certain Middle Eastern markets. It's an art. Official Toyota parts. I've even seen some Final Edition models with special trim pieces installed on the dash and doors and a special gray steering wheel. wheel cover installed, but again, these are additions that were added later and are not part of the official final edition package. Mechanically, the 2023 Final Edition comes with the same dohc V6 engine it has had since 2010, producing 270 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, the suspension is also the same.
As other FJ Cruiser models are still being produced, as for the price of this model, I have yet to hear or see what price they are listed for compared to other standard FJ Cruiser models from the same year. Foreign Conclusion, it's great to see Toyota put effort into final edition package like this, as discontinuing a vehicle like the FJ Cruiser from the Middle East is a big deal over the years. I've seen tons of videos of people driving their FJs through the sand dunes in Saudi Arabia and I'm sure we've all seen at least one video of an FJ doing a crazy jump off one, so it's appropriate to say that The FJ truly is an off-road icon around the world and to see it celebrated with a final edition for this market is quite impressive.
See what happens next in the FJ Cruiser legacy for the few countries it still remains in, but we hope you all enjoyed learning about this new FJ Cruiser package and if you're one of the lucky 1000, maybe you'll even make it to own, let me know if you're in the comments below or if you want to be. I'd love to hear everyone's opinion on this, but with that, thanks for watching, consider liking this video. If you enjoyed it and subscribe for more FJ Cruiser content.
