plus head-up display Power door locks and a ton of other goodies interesting too so let's say the

genesis

gv80 has you covered and there's more to come here at the rear obviously you can Look the beautiful styling has been carried over from the front I even like the way the exhaust outlets they have the same wing shape as the front grill, but of course there are some interesting features back here, as well as throughout the vehicle, first of all, you can open. the keyless trunk remote, hands-free interior release, where you can get it up and down from the front seat, you don't even have to get out, but a lot of people don't know that there's a secret button right there, bam, and as you open it, This is the basic two-row configuration insofar as it is not the advance with the three rows.
If you had a three-row, you'd have a little bit of cargo space here and enough room for two kids. About everything that fits in that third row, but with the second row up you have 33.9 cubic feet of cargo space back here, which is really good and what they don't tell you is that underneath is the deck storage area rear loading. which is very nice, plus additional storage areas down here as well for things that you really want to keep out of sight, but if I want to lower the 40 20 40 split folding rear seats, I have a button here and you have 84 cubic. feet of cargo space so you have a wonderfully luxurious interior that's ideal for both passengers and cargo.
When you are sitting in the back of the gv80, you are literally sitting in the lap of luxury and I mean it, this diamond tufted nappa leather. It's just beautiful back here, you've got sculpted seats a little more tucked away, you know, cargo areas up here, you've got this suede headliner in this particular trim level with dual vanity mirrors, I feel so special, as well as your lighting. LED, you can just clip it on the right. There you have your three zone air conditioning unit with USB accessories here 12 volts, there is another 12 volt outlet in the back in case you have the three row seats and you also have the sliding, reclining and lifting rear seats, and I think that's where The luxury really comes into its own here, especially when you're surrounded by that amazing sound system, but of course you're like, "Hey, what's with the beautiful center armrest?", "Hey, this , there is no cup holder, how could Genesis do this to us?" Oh wait, what do you know?
Oh, I was joking. I knew they were there from the beginning, the back seat thing. Why don't we jump in front and take it for a spin? It's been a long day, but we finally have a chance. For a little evening ride in the beautiful

2021

Genesis GV80, you really appreciate the amount of time and energy that Genesis has put into designing this interior. It really stands out, you have these glorious fully electric seats for the driver and passenger, and in this particular trim level also the passengers in the second row seats and the seats are very comfortable and this diamond tufted stitching that just accentuates the interior everywhere is in the seats is in the side padding goes from front to back its just amazing and the soft touch material with the double stitched details really exudes some kind of class in this interior you can feel it behind the steering wheel and okay, let's talk about the steering wheel, let's leave that aside, it's just a steering wheel.
It is round, it makes the wheels change direction. I mean, what's the problem? Because you have only one radio here. I don't think it's a big deal and I think you know after driving it you'll get used to it. in about 15 seconds anyway, but here you have the typical controls for your adaptive cruise control and your audio systems and your paddle shifters that go with your eight-speed electronic shift-by-wire transmission, which is really smooth, so what these LED lights really drill. night, I'm serious and the six-cylinder, oh man you've got muscle, you've got plenty of torque more than enough to move this thing down the road at a comfortable pace, there's no doubt about it and yet the four-cylinder makes a great I work too and for me it's just a question of if you're going to have one or two people in the vehicle and you're not going to be carrying a lot of cargo, then a four cylinder will probably work fine, but if you're going to be carrying more people, more cargo, then yeah , it would go up to six.
I like it and one of the things that everyone is talking about and really excited about is this 12.3-inch full 3D digital instrument cluster for the driver, it's really impressive. and it has the blind spot detection camera feature where if I turn left I can see the speedometer turn into camera view and then I turn right to change lanes and now the tachometer turns into the camera

s , so that's very good, it's definitely a step up from the normal eight inches with the analog screen and the next 14.5 inch infotainment system and it's dramatic, it just hits you in the face, it's almost like an iceberg coming out of the ocean, you have the touch panel for its 14.5 inch infotainment screen, I mean it's just amazing and that's great because sometimes it's hard to reach for short-armed people like me, but you can scroll through all the different elements easily, you know, access them accordingly and it just makes your life.
That's much easier. One of the other things I want to mention is their air conditioning unit. In this case we have the three zone air conditioning, we have our dual zones in the front and another in the back for the passengers, but it has the fingertip touch controls. for your air vents and you can lower the temperatures, which they can do, plus you have the heated and ventilated seat controls here, which is very nice. There are a couple of things that really stand out with this particular vehicle and that is the

genesis

. move forward when it comes to pampering drivers and passengers, yes that's right, it has heated and ventilated seats for both the driver's passengers, the rear passengers and the second seats, plus the corresponding adjustments, but if you want enjoy a little, you can turn on the sounds of nature and now you are listening to a lively forest through the sound system where you can hear the calm waves of the sea and I have seen this in other vehicles as well, but it just grows on you, it is a day rainy so cool.
I don't like rainy days, outdoor coffee, not so much a warm fireplace, I'll take it to put it on your heated seats on a cold day stuck in traffic, that's awesome, I just like the warm fireplace, but then what happens is you have kids back, whether it's the five seater or the five plus two seater, and you want to talk to those little munchkins, so just sit there and go, okay guys, let's talk as a passenger and now I can talk to the kids and my voice comes out. of the speaker system throughout the cabin. Oh you can't ignore me now you little fools, anyway turn it off but it's just me, now we're back to the sounds and I can even turn on silent mode too if I really want to. to turn down the volume in case they're asleep back there and I want to be nice, I could do that, but anyway you've got a lot of cool stuff here, a lot of stuff to really enjoy, it makes driving this vehicle a lot more enjoyable, you've got ambient lighting in the whole interior that really accentuates the interior very well and the luxury interior with this wood grain accent all over the front is just beautiful, even in the rear areas you can feel it, this is a luxury ride, now you can adjust it.
It's because you have your driving mode selected. You could set custom settings if you wanted. I could go into sport mode, comfort mode, which is one of my favorite eco and snow modes, but I don't need it today. I'm going to go back to comfort mode and let the vehicle pamper me as it will. At the same time, I can certainly appreciate the storage areas that are integrated into the cabin area that you obviously have. the usual side door sills, that will hold a little bit of cargo, you have the center armrest that you can open, put extra material for the storage area in there, I have a sliding door where I keep my phone back here because it has a wireless charger in this Trim Level and I also have my adapters USB and there is a 12 volt adapter underneath.
There is an additional storage area hidden down here. If you're not paying attention you'll miss it, but you can plug in more and there's a 12-volt adapter. with USB in the rear seat area as well as in the back so you have a little bit of storage space in addition to your glove box and it is very well laid out and if you don't want to see it you can cover it up. The infotainment system's stereo system has Android Auto and Apple Carplay compatibility, which is excellent. You also have voice controls for the vehicle, which is also useful anyway, so when you're traveling down the road you have your electronic stability control.
Traction control. all-wheel drive capability, uh, especially, you'll get that naturally with the 3.5 that we're on and you can even appreciate the quietness in the vehicle because it has additional insulated glass in the front, giving you a quieter imbalance What do you know to enjoy? vehicle and they even have a noise cancellation system that picks up road noise and they have small microphones that measure the sound and activate a sound wave that counteracts that sound and negates it so you have a quiet environment. interior and when you turn on the Lexicon 21 speaker and subwoofer system with 1050 watts, I mean they even have subwoofers under the passenger and driver seat.
I saw them, it's absolutely beautiful, absolutely incredible, it's such an incredible system that makes your driving so much more enjoyable. and you can get a head-up display or, as Genesis calls it, a head-up display and you get the five-year, 60,000-mile warranty. You can't forget that 10-year 100,000-mile powertrain warranty, plus they have a three-year 36,000-mile maintenance program already included in it, and of course roadside assistance and collision protection. corrosion, all the usual stuff on this beautifully styled, massively designed machine that has a lot to enjoy both inside and out, you have the luxurious interior. environment, technology has safety galore, there are 10 airbags here which is great, now they even have a center airbag and there are a lot of safety and driver assistance features built into this, just as you would expect lots of power, efficiency of decent fuel at an amazing price so I don't think you can go wrong with this, it doesn't really matter if it's a 2.5t or 3.5t there are so many different trim levels and options I think you'll find the right model for you . you and your family or maybe just for you, this will be your trip.
Thanks for joining us today and I mean all day as we take this first look at the new 2021 Genesis GV80. I've always enjoyed the Genesis line of sedans over the years, but I truly believe the GV80 will be the game-changing vehicle for Genesis this year. year and it's not that they have reinvented the sport utility vehicle, they have simply refined it and maybe now the world will really appreciate the technology that designs the comfort, luxury and performance of these incredible machines, but that is just my opinion.
