of these products. I have the opportunity to put 15,000 miles on this trailer. I use this trailer to travel all over the world. country during the pandemic and there are many things I love about it, but there are many things after that experience that I have to offer buyers beware.

I'm going to go over those features that I'll try to include. the things I love, but I also want to be very honest about the things in this trailer that don't hold up after six months of use. Well starting from the front we have a bullet frame which is great for a trailer like this for a 300 pound tow this powder coated frame is going to last a long time. I have had no problems using the jacks or hitches and I have removed these things hundreds of times now. The first problem really started when you look at this 20 One Pound Propane Tank.

More Interesting Facts About,

2021 braxton creek bushwhacker owners review...

I immediately had to separate this tank and move it closer to the lug. The regulator and some of the gas hoses were hanging so far over the tray that came with this that nothing could be stored in there without pushing in. Regulator now, even after this modification I'll probably have to cut this bracket off and weld it here on the side, even with the adjustment I'm still causing a lot of vibration and this crashes into anything I use. Lug Connector, Lug Frame As far as overall fit and finish, the trailer has held up quite well. This 0-4-0 aluminum that is painted is really nice, it is easy to clean, but one thing is for sure with these mass produced trailers. it leaves a lot in terms of fit and finish, you can see there are screws too tight and some seals loose and this particular air conditioner they sprayed the insulation everywhere, you know you have foam hanging off and this was the case within a week of Using this trailer , really the first few hundred miles and you really started to see some wear and tear on some of the fit and finish of this trailer.

I love the 2200 pound torsion axle, it makes for a nice ride, they equip this thing with great tires and wheels, the torsion axle, but with a Dexter it's very easy to maintain and there are some quality fenders on this thing. Another issue I have is that this low pressure propane port is located on what they sell as an off road trailer if you are running in any kind of rough conditions or driving over any brush or anything you really have to be careful with. I definitely recommend keeping the propane off when driving this trailer and testing it for leaks every time you use it, it's definitely exposed and something I'm probably going to try to relocate to this trailer now this trailer comes with a 30 amp electrical service and this has been great, it gives you all the electrical service you need to run anything in this camper and I've actually used some pretty heavy appliances when plugged in from the outlet so I'm more than happy with how they set up the electrical for this caravan.

Unfortunately, there is no city water connection, so from time to time we end up with a situation. where we have water and we don't have electricity and we have to rely on batteries to run the water pump so this has a great 24 gallon water storage but first they probably saved 30 bucks by skipping the city water . connection to this and I would have really appreciated if they had included that now, coming here, anyone who knows me knows how I feel about these solar ports on the sides, don't use this, there is no situation where if you are investing in solar , The best thing you can do is use this side port.
This is an undersized wire with no fuse and if you are going to add solar you will really want to run through an mppt and go directly to the battery for this. so don't be fooled by these solar panels on the sides, they are almost useless. Now this camper comes with a 300 pound roof rack. This was a great feature. Anyone who has a teardrop caravan knows that all the storage we can get is a huge help. Unfortunately, most of this rack is useless because they didn't position it in a way to clear the power antenna and even the roof vent, so when you try to use a roof rack or cargo basket you won't have enough room.
To put it on this roof rack, this will require major modifications and a few different things, but for the most part you will be putting on an awning or a bike rack like this and not being able to take advantage of it. this roof rack that they are selling, on top of this, I had leaks in this camper the first week I had it, you could see whole places of lap sealant that we are going to fix today that are missing and I have had to do some repairs that you already know on the road and I wouldn't expect them to have to do with a new trailer, so when I get back here to the kitchen I definitely have some mixed reviews.
Braxton Creek did a great job including everything you need. I do a bit of dispersed camping, but they take some major shortcuts. Now I understand that this camper isn't as expensive as some of the competition on the market, but there are definitely some things here that won't really get you started with this. It is a thermoelectric refrigerator. I talked about this on the tour. Many people advertise it as a refrigerator. It is definitely not a refrigerator. It uses three to four times the amount of electricity, so it's basically useless if you're in a wasteful situation. Also this will not regulate itself, there is no thermostat here so essentially this refrigerator will not work if it is above 60 70 degrees and will actually freeze food if it gets to 50 degrees, you can replace this unit for like 100 dollars on Amazon, it's definitely a cheap add-on, but the worst thing is that there is no way to upgrade it, there is no refrigerator on the market today that fits in this space and you certainly can't use a yeti or an ice co or a dometic without making some major modifications to the whole design here, so this is quite disappointing, these speakers are almost useless, you know, this particular caravan came with all the cables crossed for these speakers, so they didn't work.
For starters, even after repairing them, these things hiss and pop and I would almost appreciate it if they didn't even include the stereo with this camper, the spray nozzle is pretty useful. I love the 24 gallons of water storage it would definitely be. Well if you could eliminate this and use a faucet you know even a plastic fitting here would be useful for most things like washing dishes or brushing your teeth this thing has a habit of getting in the way of draining this trailer, like all teardrop trailers. directly under the caravan you will need a tote bag if you are in a national park or most state campgrounds, if you are on private property you can put a bucket underneath but again you need to make sure you are using environmental materials. products because there is no gray water tank for this trailer.
I was quite impressed with the Flame King they included with these wind shields. You could see that after six months on the road with this trailer it held up pretty well. It could use a cleaning. but I'm really happy with the amount of space this thing offers and how it works. It's a pretty good unit, unfortunately it buries access to the water pump so every time you open it you tend to flip the switch and accidentally turn your water pump on and while it's open or if it's hot you don't have access to get back here and control your water pump other than that you will see things like this they are basically cheaper than any piston you can find on the market today looks good but once you get out in the woods and start using this thing you will see that it causes All this damage that is happening here, this is actually a result of the kitchen leaking and I have spent It takes a lot of time and effort to prevent this kitchen from leaking, but this trailer can't hold up, so moving inwards of This trailer, you gotta love a wide door.
They did a very good job with this and I wish the competition included doors this size. I don't see people using this full 34 inch door. A guy my size has to move his legs when he comes in, so having this extra space at the door has been very helpful. There is some underbed storage here. to bring me to the next part of the review which I should include if you can see inside the trailer how this piano hinge was installed. This under bed storage when we bought this trailer didn't hook into anything so the first time.
I used it and almost fell to the ground, which meant that before I even spent my first night in this camper I had to go to the hardware store and just put a couple of blocks of wood in here so this thing wouldn't collapse. This really is just another case of the rush that went into doing this and it is important that you know these things if you are thinking of buying this caravan. Well, now that we are inside this caravan, the first positive note is that it has been a really comfortable experience. I loved camping in a teardrop camper and this space is surprisingly comfortable.
Some people are worried about this being claustrophobic, but whether we're set up on this sofa layout here or we're putting it on the bed layout that we have. I had a pretty comfortable experience using this camper for weeks and weeks. Some of the features I love, as I mentioned, are the home oven and the vents that come out here at your feet. I never thought I would use this 5000 BTU window air conditioner. as much as I've done, but that does a very good job, obviously even with the ventilation on it can get pretty hot here in the summer, but overall my main issue has to do with some of the planning and fit and finish from this. things are very cheap materials, um, this boiler vent was placed so low that if you have a thick blanket on your bed, it almost completely blocks it when we are in the bed position, if you want to add some memory foam or something you are I will have to cut around this furnace vent because instead of raising it just a couple of inches they put it in a position where it feels dangerous, most of these outlet covers were crooked and everything you would expect from a commercial job here, but Well, one of the biggest problems arose with this Jensen stereo system.
I contacted Braxton Creek several times about this and we'll talk more about that later, but this was connected completely incorrectly. All the positive wires were in the left channel and the negative wires were in the right channel, which meant that no matter how you tried to use it, you heard nothing but loud hissing and popping sounds. I have no idea how this came out of a dealership or manufacturing process without anyone noticing this. Reading online there were a lot of advances that came this way, unfortunately when I called to get it repaired I was told I would have to wait months so I ended up taking this whole thing out and doing it myself.
The unfortunate discovery was even once it was. Fixing this unit is so cheap it actually sounds terrible, so most of the time we run this thing with the fuse removed now, so the headroom in this camper is very functional. I like the extra shelf, the top shelf, and this right edge. Here, this slider is nice, but we spent most of the time trying not to break it. It's made out of cardboard and you're probably seeing that it's the last season. I'll just remove it and use them as open storage. There are two USB ports here which are extremely useful, but continuing with our fit and finish dilemma, all the buttons went out like the first week we had them, you will notice the rapid degradation of all these materials, but overall I have been very happy and comfortable in the interior space of this trailer, so this Braxton Creek bushwacker is positioned on the market for less than ten thousand dollars, new, that puts it in a league of its own, it is definitely the most valuable. camper that I have been able to find with the components included in this one, unfortunately the old saying that you get what you pay for has definitely come true with this camper over the first few months.
I was able to recommend this caravan to other people. I warned them about some of the problems I was having, but encouraged them by telling them that the solutions were pretty simple and it was still great value for money. Unfortunately, in the last few months I changed that recommendation to do not buy. This is because Braxton Creek has not honored their warranty issues, in addition to myown personal experience talking to the company and dealership. A quick Google search will show you that customers who are purchasing this caravan have major problems and have told you so. dealers who can't fix them now, whatever is going on with these companies, I hope they fix it, but at the moment I can't in good faith recommend that any of my viewers buy this caravan, so I hope they don't.
I need to do more negative reviews like this. Please like and subscribe if I could have saved you some money today or prevented you from making a bad decision. Leave your experiences in the comments. I would love to hear from you. Send me an email. to find out if anyone else has this trailer, if they are having similar experiences and if they know of other trailers on the market at this price.
