2020 Chevrolet Corvette Review - Mid-Engine Marvel!

Feb 27, 2020
What's up everyone, Matt Moran, here for another car

review

? This is, of course, the all-new

2020

Chevrolet Corvette. Many thanks to Chevrolet for bringing us here to Spring Mountain Raceway to

review

the new Corvette for you today, so about the Corvette, well, it's probably the biggest car of

2020

alright It could be one of the greatest cars of the decade. I mean, this has been long awaited by so many people and for good reason I mean the main feature here is that you can get one of these that look. Basically, like that for fifty nine nine nine five sixty thousand dollars and you don't even need to see this review to know that getting that much performance and getting a mid-

engine

d car that has supercar levels of performance for sixty thousand dollars is going to be a Honestly, we've seen some of the best performance offerings we've seen and anyway, when it comes to looks, we especially loved this fast blue color here which really pops, especially with the black accents, but the really dramatic thing, obviously, It's a wild departure from the old.

configuration, but it's also transformed dimensionally: it's 5.4 inches longer, making it a much longer car than the c7, it's 2.2 inches wider, and even the track is 1.9 inches wider here in the front, it's 0.7 inches wider in At the rear, the wheelbase itself is only half an inch longer, so it's not a dramatic difference, but the bodywork and everything is so radically different, but it's still quite low: it is even a point two inches lower than that of the C7, which is already quite low. car, so I mean it gives you this very extended and very, very wide and aggressive stance and it looks spectacular.

More Interesting Facts About,

2020 chevrolet corvette review mid engine marvel...

This particular one is the z51 package as well, so it gives you a slightly more aggressive friend splitter. There you have the rear spoiler on the back and overall I really love the look of the c8 personally I think it's really cool cool little touch what we just learned this morning actually is that you can open this front hatch here , there's a little button right underneath here, like there would be for the trunk and you press it and you open the front hatch there, which is a brilliant thing and very convenient. You can't also use the key and a button on the inside and then go down to the sides.

I love that huge side intake, it's fully functional and those intakes are how the final intake works, that's where it gets the air for the engine, so you hear the fans running every time we turn the car off and stuff, It's a cool setup, so that's also where the door handle is hidden. It's very discreet the way it's hidden there and then pops out back. I love how they have the mid engine on display. You know, you have it right under the glass. It's really beautiful, unfortunately the convertible. I don't understand that, so the coupe is the only way to get that nice glass screen and it looks great there, it's also very nicely trimmed with the engine cover and stuff, but otherwise the Outback still looks great. looks great now, personally, I'm not.

I'm a fan of the way it looks without the spoiler. I think the spoiler really punctuates the rear and that's something you get here on the z51, but I think especially with the spoiler, it looks really good back there and again it's very evolutionary. They're very respectful of the Corvette's styling cues, they wanted to keep that as a signature with the taillights and things like that. I think they did a really good job of doing it and overall, I mean this stands out a lot, we were driving down the Las Vegas Strip yesterday and I mean everyone is looking, everyone is taking pictures giving you the thumbs up.
I mean, this will be the car especially this year. I mean, everyone will love you every time you drive in this thing. It's really cool first for the interior of the mid-engined Corvette, well it's crazy and it's so exciting to sit here, obviously the seating position is also completely different than a C7, you're sitting 16 and 1/2 inches away. further forward than you would be in a c7 anyway the first thing you need to do is sing that in these seats now these are the gt2 seats so he is in the mid grade seat there are also the competition ones which are more aggressive.
I really love these GT 2 seats, so sitting in these. We were driving on the highway all day yesterday and you'll see the pictures here in a few minutes, but these seats are super comfortable, they have swirl lumbar support and they also have adjustable bolsters which is very nice and usually it just works. Your torso here, but really yes, you can make it as loose or as tight as you want and very comfortable all day long. Comfortable seats. I really love them a lot. The C8 steering wheel is also great and is a radical departure from the rest, so it has a three-grip Grand Night, but it's a square-like design, so the tan and teen washes are way up there.
They made it specifically so you could see this gauge cluster perfectly, the steering wheel pulls out of the way very nicely and only a few buttons here. on it, not too many, you have a little metal Z button here that's like in my mode, so you can know that you can customize everything and it will save it between key cycles for my mode, but Z mode you have to press it every time to get into that mode and you also have nice metal panel chargers in the back, very cool to the touch and nice and big too and very well made there and a really cool steering wheel, I think on some of the higher trims, you can also get some stitching here on the airbag cover and things that this one doesn't have and that still looks really cool, although you can also get a heated steering wheel here, flap on the gauge cluster, it's very nice and has a resolution very high. 12 inches and it has really cool animations every time it appears and it's really just feature pack 2.
GM is very good at making so many customizations as to what you can display there and this is not a difference so there is a lot of stuff different ones that you already know. You can go through there to see the metrics you want. However, all the vital information is already standard on the screens and switches between different driving modes, so the stand looks a little more aggressive and the track is really aggressive. with a bar style tachometer on there and it looks great, but as you might notice, when I switch between driving modes, it lags a little bit, it's a little slow and every time you're driving on the highway, that's a little bit distracting because you have this as five second transition period before you're really ready so you don't know that's a big deal if you're just looking down the road you also do the heads up display talking about indicators so I'll show you your attack and so will you.
I know several other things, there's something to customize that too and it's really cool to have that as an option, although I don't think it's standard. It comes to the center of the board. Here you have the pretty standard 8-inch Chevrolet MyLink touchscreen and that's actually it. standard on all seats, everyone has Apple Carplay and Android Auto standard, all that kind of stuff is cool and it's really impressive, so before we talk about this infotainment system, yesterday I sat in the $60,000 entry-level car no options and you can see that I have some little shots of that interior and it's basically very similar.
I was surprised how you still have padding in the knee area like you do here in this better equipped version and you really know that it's basically almost the same as the seats. You don't have as much adjustability, you also don't have heating and ventilation like you do here in this is an option, but otherwise, you know, there are just a few less buttons here on the center tunnel, but other than that, it's basically , very, very similar. I thought there would be a lot of degradation and interior quality on that baseball to hit that $60,000 price tag, but they didn't and they say everything you see on this interior, by the way, if it looks like leather, it's leather, if it looks like metal, it's real metal, I'm very impressed with that, but anyway, back to the achievement screen, this is the only thing you know.
I love the screen, it's super fast, super fast, like I said. I love the smartphone integration, very simple and easy to use too, which is refreshing as many other European competitors have very complicated infotainment systems. This is refreshingly simple. I love it, the only thing I don't care about is where they put the volume knob, it's at maximum. here and you actually have to reach for the windshield wipers to talk and get to the volume knob and the start button as well so you know with the driver it's not a big deal because you have little rocker switches here on the steering changes the volume a little bit if you want, but if that volume knob is primarily for the passenger, not only do you have to reach down to basically the gauge cluster, and to get to that volume knob, you also have to reach down to this. pretty important pillar here, which especially towards the top gets quite high, so if you're a passenger in a CA Corvette it won't be very convenient to change the volume, so you'll want to tell the driver to do it and then below that , you've got your little buttons here, which are cool the way they're designed here to go into neutral park.
Driving in reverse, all that kind of stuff. Manual mode is also there and also this mode selector is much better than it needs to be. Honestly, you could have a cheap little switch, but they didn't have it. They had this nice big knurled aluminum knob and this little leather cover on top of it. You also have a couple of buttons here to turn off the trash control and the camera. This car has them too. I don't have the front lift option, but that button would be here too if you had it, but yeah, I mean, this whole center tunnel is quite nice and softly padded, it's not very comfortable, but it has a little bit of give to it, so Resting your knee on that will be a little more comfortable than hard plastic like you would in the past, but this center towel also feels great in this area.
You know, like I said, you'll see all the buttons for your weather. control and there are a lot of them but honestly with all the climate control you know it's a standard you'll just set it and forget it so you don't need to fuss too much with this so I like how they just left it at a side and you know you don't have to think too much about it also in this area of two cup holders which are not the deepest but seem to be a pretty good size so no complaints really, you also have a center armrest which is quite nice and is Softly padded, you open it up and you have a decent amount of space, you know enough for a smartphone or something not too deep, but still not too bad.
You will have it too. See a standard USB connector, a USB C connector and an auxiliary connector in there, as well as an SD card slot, but there's a great little space that also sits inline so you know things won't really vibrate in there and then you also have this. space behind you here and that's a wireless charging pad here if equipped. I think the base models will be just a little extra container but a nice little cutout in there to hold your phone and keep it nice and out of the way so you don't have to worry about that and you also see a nice speaker grill here that's metal for the speaker.
Bose Performance Series, which is an upgraded stereo system that you get here. There is also a, I believe, lower arch system, so this is a top. one and I couldn't test it much. We were too busy listening with the engine yesterday, but you know it's a good thing they have that option. Hopefully I'll have to get one of these for a week to really try it out. stereo and things like that, but yeah, I mean, in general, you know as far as space here, you know, I'm five foot nine, I don't even have this seat as low as it can go, it can go lower here, but still, this is the lowest possible.
I have tons of headroom, a decent amount of elbow room and stuff, you're not too cramped in here. I'd say it's even a little more spacious than a C7, just like my first initial impression. I think and I also love that you look over your shoulder and you have a fantastic view of the engine, which is great, but because that view is mostly the engine and there's not a lot of glass, this one has the option of having a backup camera. Rearview mirror, which I highly recommend because without it, as you can see, it's not a great view, especially this one with a high spoiler, it won't be a great view from there, so I think it's definitely an option worth getting, but yes, in general.
The interior here in the C8 is very, very nice, very different and cool, and I love that they took a wild departure and were bold with their design. Cargo space in the C8 is also really good, so you can see that up front here. I have a nice deep space in there and very usable, but I'm impressed with how deep it is and then,In the back, you have enough room for golf clubs if you want and a very large space now if you remove the roof. because that's an option, so it blocks off most of the rear space that you would only have the front space to work with, but overall I'm talking about tons of cargo capacity here and it's very, very good for a mid-engine vehicle, so starting to go out for a spin, so don't worry about the stickers, but this is the mid-engine Corvette key, very nice, again, very cool metal here on the edges and very high quality nice buttons in the rear to open all the hatches. and do all kinds of things with the remote control if you want, but I'm very nice, the ski has a good weight to it, the very high quality feel is definitely very different to other GM keys, it's very impressive, but of course this. keyless entry keyless entry and push button start so you leave the key in your pocket press the end of the start button and roar baby okay so we're here for the 2020 Corvette multimedia unit on the street part , here and I am I'm going to start with my part.
I know you're all dying to say it and that's my first throttle reaction, so we're in track mode. I'll leave it on Automatic, we won't do launch control. Do it tomorrow on the track, but here we go, three, two, there was no problem with the drummer, it's just very impressive, it's so smooth and obtuse, so the 2020 Corvette here runs the 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 LT engine Natural, but direct injection makes 495. High-performance exhaust and then 470 pound-feet of torque, so zero to 16 miles for Z51-equipped vehicles is 2.9 seconds. This is not a Z51 package, this one has the Michelin all season pilot with four tires and so with these it is maybe a couple of tenths of a second slower.
I think they said maybe 3.1 to 3.2 is still very, very fast and that would be with launch control style, it's probably a little bit slower than that, just me doing it here from a normal user on a 60 race , but very, very smooth, but we'll put it in sport mode here because I think it's a little more street friendly, so it's running a Tremec 8-speed dual-clutch transmission as the only transmission option for the 2020 Corvette without manual. Emanuele lover, it's a shame they don't offer it. So far, this total clutch has been very good, so we were actually driving down Las Vegas Boulevard and stuff earlier on this and one thing I've already noticed is that there is a small point of engagement, you can tell it's not totally smooth, as if it weren't one of the most refined dual clutches I've experienced yet.
I know even a couple of months ago I drove the GT 500 which seemed to have a slightly softer dual clutch as far as engagement goes, this seems very similar so go ahead and put manual mode on here, we're in 7th place right now and it's pretty quiet, we're at the lowest rpm, but it's a very, very quick response and then there we go and there's some garbage control for a second, but then it takes off and it's crazy that this is the base standard Corvette, It's not even the fast one, this is just the standard. ordinary version and the fact that it's already so fast and we were talking about supercar acceleration levels and a car that only starts at $60,000, you can have this performance for $60,000 as equipped this one, you know if it's all-season and everything the rest. that and what I love about the ltte engine is that it is so porky that unlike other engines even some turbocharged engines don't have their torque on the low end as this does it immediately because of this there is no lag in the weight floor, just put your foot down and they're very, very Indian brakes are also very responsive, but I've noticed that they're a little touchy and it almost reminds me of Julia in the way that that can get a little tricky.
Easy on the brakes and that's something I'll continue to drive here for the next day and a half and report back after we've spent more time here in this tribe with the windows down here. Oh, crackles and pops there. oh this is already this good, I can't imagine CS6 and they have future versions of this, they're going to be crazy, it's like making my palms sweat guys, this is how you fall off cliffs, oh , and what do you think, Tim? Yes, I have a presentation. but yeah, I have Tim from the Shmi 150 here traveling today and I've also had you in the same car with me.
I love your videos because they do a fantastic job and you haven't driven this yet, but passages and I'll tell you what it's about. the first time you really accelerate a car, yes, it probably pushes you back, yes, they feel that sensation of torque encourages instant response, yes, I'm heading for the seat. 93,500 horsepower, no, yes, that's a lot of car for the money and it has 80 seats. Also yeah these are the gt2 seats that were sitting right now and now they have adjustable bolsters and they're really comfortable they actually feel like really good quality leather and stuff so another thing I'm noticing about the Corvette 2020.
Visibility is very good in many ways, so you know, because now we have the mid-engine, it has a much lower hood and I mean, very good visibility. I don't think it will be very good for McLaren. What do you think you've owned McLaren? So I know what you mean, but it's not bad, yes, you can see it moving forward. Good for pointing out the wheel arches, yes, good ability to fit the front, probably eight, which is very, very narrow, yes, that's a really good thing about this. And that's great. I'm noticing that the side mirrors are really strangely shaped and set, not great if you have it strange, yeah, and they're the kind of people I don't know who struggle to see people. the other lanes, but that will have to go through the cool red tonight, brats, see how close we sit.
Hi, it's because you didn't pack that, yeah, and the B pillar is right over my shoulder, so I can. I don't really see much there so I think you know blind spot monitoring is a solid option that I would probably go with that's cool yeah yeah the rearview mirror camera is I think the first year for Corvette and from other GM and Cadillac vehicles and stuff. Anything in the sound is a nice deep growl in a world where almost everything on the market is silenced by turbos or those regulations have that naturally aspirated V8. Gorham is something that's actually something that, actually, you know, we're lucky he's still here, right?
I'm glad someone is definitely doing it so yeah we're going to do some quarters here now and these are very smooth corners nothing too aggressive but you know it handles really well so regardless if you get the package z51 or not, still Get 245 wide tires in the front, I think 295 in the rear, so you have very good grip and honestly, I want to say, yes, these are all-season tires and for many enthusiasts it's like a bad word, but honestly, at least it's not bad. The all season Michelins are some of the best all season for wet grip and being very good from a performance point of view I will give it the boot mid corner and it still gets stuck quite a bit okay, so that's one of the advantages. and now I'm on the mid-engine setup, you have a lot more weight from those rear tires and it really helps the grip.
I mean if I tried to do that with c7 I would have really been on the side of rushing so that's the big difference and I mean this is the weight distribution that has changed a lot and used to be close to 50/50 now we have basically 60% of the weight in the rear and then about 40% in the front, so now there is a rear bias. you can tell even with the braking setup the brakes are actually bigger at the rear from the counter the front here takes advantage of that yeah im really impressed with the paddle shifters they are very quick wish there was a little more. rpm to play.
I know this engine is big on a small block V8 and stuff, but if they have a higher redline, that's fine, they fix it with the zo6 version trim, so I realize there are obviously so many. There's so much torque here, the torque comes so early and all you don't need is to have a super high redline. If I'm from a sports car point of view, it's fun to have something that grips beyond what you know, the sixth grade 6500 like this, honestly, I mean. This is a lot of power for anyone, it's so effective in the way it deploys those 495 horsepower that you have to drive one of these and really feel it and experience it to get the full effect.
I think this car is more than just its numbers. It has a very impressive Sarah 260 time, but if you look beyond that, some people might feel like, you know, I'm waiting for the faster version, you might not need the faster version because you can really run the whole engine and you can really exploit this. car and you'll be pretty quick to get into a lot of trouble if you want and you'll save yourself a ton of money by just buying one of the standard Corvettes. Here it's also kind of fun steering and pretty quick, so it's a look, you know it's not as fast as the gear ratios, like some of the faster ones, you know the super sedans and things like that, or even like you know things like Ferrari and things like much faster steering, but you know that this is actually a faster steering than the previous one. c7 Corvette as far as the steering ratio goes and that's a group I mean it's really good it's nice and flat here in sport mode and so you can get a couple different suspension options you can get it with control Magnetic Drive 4.0 which is the newer version or you can get a stock suspension setup and the next day leaving Spring Mountain they actually had two cars they were on a little short autocross course where we got to test one with the package z51 without magnetic ride control and other. with magnetic ride control from the c-51, so the first one out was in the vehicle with non-magnetic ride control and one thing I will say about the car that is not the sir is that it is a little more organic feeling, you have a little more roll and It's not as flat, but to me it felt a little more natural and I think I actually preferred the way the non-magnetic ride control felt, but then I went out in the car with magnetic ride control and it was definitely flatter and more composed, there was less drama. on the suspension and it actually felt a little tighter.
I felt like I could probably take the corners a little faster in the mr car, so I think it will definitely give you more confidence, but personally I think I still prefer the feel of the mr car and this is on an autocross track. which is perfectly paved. One of the main benefits of magnetic ride control is that it can also give you the smoothness of a more comfortable suspension setup for rougher roads and so on the street. That magnetic ride control may be, you know, the better option, but at least as far as automatic crossover cars go, I think I prefer the regular z51 suspension, because what most people are going to do with this is very complex, inspiring, very, very good.
It's very solid, so your weight on these is about 150 pounds more than the C-7, but you're getting into a much longer vehicle, wider vehicle, now you have the dual clutch, which is heavier, and all this stuff. They add some weight, so the fact that for me I've only gained about 150 pounds isn't that bad, it only weighs about three thousand six hundred and fifty pounds, so it won't be very heavy by modern standards, actually. It's still very light now. You know, some sports cars, especially supercars, use a lot of carbon fiber and things that are heavier, but considering that this doesn't really have a lot of carbon fiber in its construction or anything, I think it's still a good way and I really like it.
I like it, it gives it a solid feeling on the road and so far I haven't felt the weight slowing me down or making me feel like I'm a pig in some way or anything, really it's just a composed and confident ride, but then with The double clutch transmission is automatic. I know we're in sport driving mode, but if the trees were really doing their thing and I was in fifth gear right now at 55 miles per hour, if I stomped on it, very good response, very, very quick. Reply now, it's not a hyper aggressive Gears emote or anything, even with the track load, it didn't seem like it wanted to get too crazy with this stuff, so we're just going to stick with it here now and we're still happy to walk through it.
I know 2500 rpm isn't hyperactive, but this transmission can tell when you're trying to drive aggressively supposedly according to the materials Shimon gave us and will try to predict your behavior and I think that's something the driver will learn as they go. Well obviously these press vehicles run on only 1200 miles probablythe transmission will learn a little bit and it takes a little time to do so I'm sure we'll probably get better over time but it still isn't. really good, it's not going to confuse, there have been other duel matchups in the past and even like the 10 speed automatic seen in other Ford and GM apps, it can get a little confusing at times and want to shift a lot, you know this live. 8 speed, but it's quite dedicated to holding gears because you have so much torque at low revs that it doesn't need to search, so even in track mode here you know it just picks a gear and stays with it, so it doesn't really work.
It doesn't roll over so I think it's programmed very well, even in its track setting and in track mode you can also feel how the steering is much heavier, sporty, also a little lighter but a little more heavy than torque, there's all kinds of adjustability, but Even on the track, the steering isn't too heavy, honestly, it feels good, so now we take the roof off here and as you can hear, it's a little windy at some higher speeds with the roof off every time you go at lower speeds so "We're doing like 55 there so once you get close to 40 it's good and then you know you can hear this glorious exhaust very well with the roof up but then it quickly increases in volume but it's really nice the guys at

chevrolet

supposedly said if you're looking for a quieter experience with the roof off they said the convertible version of the ciock is coming in april and it will be a bit better noise-wise, so if you plan on driving with the roof off all the time, it might be worth paying a few extra dollars more for that convertible version, but obviously I haven't driven the convertible, so I can't say by what percentage that will fix it, but just one thing to keep in mind: it's a little windy here, but generally, in convertibles, you know that most of you expect some wind noise, so you know it gets a little difficult to have a conversation when you're at higher speeds on the highway, but it's great that you have the option if the mid-range option is just the goal for all Corvettes. -up". and I love that, so you can have as much or as little convertible experience as you want.
This car we are driving here does not have the magnetic drive suspension. This more luxurious LT3 standard suspension version is outside of the z51 package .So this is probably as comfortable as what a Corvette offers with standard suspension. So it's very comfortable and I think it was a very dynamic package. You know, I haven't had any lack of grip here. I mean, there was one. On that moment we were accelerating the previous job and I wanted to wear the tires down a little bit and I felt like the rush control intervened a little bit but overall it does a very good job of putting the power down I mean it should have 305 from the back and we have the engine from there over the rear axle and you have, you just know, 495 horsepower, it's quite manageable and so it's very approachable.
There's nothing about this car that's committed suicide here because of straight-line acceleration. I'm finding it's more comfortable in a little less intimidating than I honestly expected it to be and more I've been driving this car for a while and I think the c7, especially with the manual and the fact that they had a you know. more struggle to lower the power. I think it was a more visceral experience from an adrenaline point of view because it wasn't as easy to go fast in the c7, this makes it very easy and that's exciting. I mean, you're experiencing the G's and it's very, very impressive, but I think it's a little less sketchy than the C7, which is a funny thing to complain about, but I think it feels a little safer with a little more of polishing, which is great for everyday usability.
It smells fantastic, in no way am I complaining, it's just an interesting little thing I noticed and I think a lot of c7 owners will notice, especially if you get out of a car with a manual transmission, obviously you lose some engagement with these paddle shifters, but it does a great job, another thing I want to add about this little clutch is that the more I drive, it seems like the transmission has gotten smoother the hotter it got, we were driving away from the hotel for the first time. Notice there was a bit of noise. I said there were times when it wasn't perfectly smooth, but now, even in sport mode, it's pretty smooth and responsive.
I still feel like the clutch stolen from the gt500 is a little sharper and a little sharper. a little bit sharper, but I'm really splitting hairs here, I mean, because this is still, I mean manual mode, sport mode, immediate downshifts, no complaints, comedian, it's very, very, very fast. I think what I'm noticing is just lovely, I think. They simply programmed this transmission to smooth out the ships a little more in auto mode than the gt500 does. It's so perfect. I'm really picky, I even try five things with 100% placement, but that's all there is to it about this vehicle, it's so impressive. and yes, I love driving it, but these are all my driving impressions here on the road, but we will also go out to the track tomorrow and I will have more impressions there and after following the car for two sessions of about eight laps.
I each came away really impressed by the time my group got into these cars, they had already been lapping the track for about an hour so in my sessions I still didn't experience any noticeable brake fade, all of the track they have the z51. package with bigger brakes, but I'm not sure if my fast blue example here had mag gear or not, although the brakes weren't the only thing that impressed, the car was so planted and stable on the track and the grip was really good if you weren't careful, you could feel it wanting to understeer a little, but just letting off the throttle a little bit immediately put the grip back to that front end and again for a standard Corvette, the limits were pretty high, that grip also meant I didn't have to worry. of the rear end hitting me if I hit the gas too soon coming out of the corner and I just held on and went and there were a couple of times in track mode where the traction control stopped me for a second. or two, but I didn't feel like the car had to rely on that electronics as much as it did in previous models and comparing this to rolling like a CTS-V around the same track three years ago, that car had to do it constantly.
I drive the rear end wanting to squirm and with the c8 there were no such issues here, obviously the Corvette has less power but the balance innate in the Corvette is really remarkable and the c8 also felt much more planted on the track than the Supra which I followed for the last time. year, for example, which felt a lot more fun with its constant desire to wander and the last thing to mention about the track and stuff is that the optional performance data recorder was upgraded to a 1080p camera now, unfortunately, for some reason my footage recorded in standard definition here but it's a nice improvement there and there's also another cool feature where it now has the ability to function as a dash cam that works by constantly recording whenever you drive or when you're alone in ballet mode, but either way it's a great feature to I've also done it, but overall the Corvette is a fantastic sports car after 2 days of driving the only minor complaints I had were if the performance exhaust could be a little noisier in my opinion and that, while the engine is a great performer, it doesn't feel special like engines in cars like the Shelby gt350 and GT 500 with their high red lines and intoxicating sounds, but luckily according to the rumors, it looks like the zo6 could improve on those aspects and that's probably already in the works, but in the meantime the

corvette

stingray is still in my opinion the best performance offering we enthusiasts have ever seen and they could have charged double what they're asking for these things and I still think it was a solid deal, it's so good it's crazy to think this is just the beginning of the mid-engined Corvette story and it's only going to get better from here, what a time to be alive.
Thank you all so much for watching, be sure to subscribe if you enjoyed this review and I'll see you next time, take care.
