2020 BMW 750Li vs 2001 BMW 7-Series // Luxury Meets LegendFeb 25, 2020
completely broke down quickly call someone and tell James okay so this has 282 horsepower and 300 and how many 24. Can you confirm yes okay that's 324 pound-feet of torque that I At Actually, all you need is what happens to this car immediately after
seriesseven. I don't know if you could feel it back there. I could hear your chair creak. also what your chair no your chair yes the chair goes at a weird angle not sure if that's this particular car or the seven
seriestalking about things that are at an angle this steering wheel isn't quite straight either it needs to be the alignment no seems wrong but anyway oh just wait a minute while my head flies back ok the point is this doesn't feel like a
luxurycar to me no it doesn't feel so boaty on the back here or it feels like a sports car a sports car feels like a sports car oddly you say that because when i was searching the forums and the previous reviews everyone used to refer to this as a sports car no one says that about the new seven series and we cant say its a fast boat lu xury car sports car its not this feat here look at this so traction control currently doesnt work so you couldnt turn it on if you wanted to but step on your foot and rear end moves with very easy and very predictable ok that was ok yes this reminds me of the cadillac ct6v we drove recently yes that is exactly how it feels especially since it is the shorter wheelbase yes no ok , so the steering is hydraulic which means it's not callous it's a fantastic front it's really very good feedback and pretty punchy right off the bat I will say if you do a super pick and you hear you're getting a series of seven and this showed up, you'd be so excited, oh wait, what were you going to say? i'm pumped yeah yeah that's right yeah okay so how does this not match the new one?
Well it doesn't have the tech it doesn't have any tech I wouldn't say the interior is beautiful no it's not beautiful it's roomy it's not that fast no even though it's a v8 yes p as long as it works because relying on this it doesnt have the best reliability record no the engine this v8 engine has some issues i think its timing chain guide you stalwarts will know a bit i have never dealt with bmw v8 engines of this era personally but i have heard but they are So smooth it's such a nice engine but as nice as it is to have a V8 surely a naturally aspirated V8 has absolutely terrible fuel economy there aren't really any weird V8s from this era the cars were lighter. right and the engines were actually quite efficient this goes down to less than 10 liters per hundred miles on the highway under 10 yeah I'm surprised by that I was too that's amazing I read when this came out it was classed as a lower emission car when it came out fancy thats not going to happen in
2020with the v8 dont think so we have a problem james we have a problem yeah whats the problem i want one of these you cant have one i want one you cant have one of these why because just bo I should a non running bmw for ten thousand dollars, well what if I also buy a non running bmw for five thousand dollars?
Well then I'm off, so yeah, this particular 7-series has a few things that need fixing, but it shows that by hoping for less than 10,000 bucks, you can get one of the classiest driving BMWs of all time. They are just sitting there waiting for someone to return them to their former glory. Yeah obviously reliability is certainly an issue on a close to 120,000 mile bmw but if you're up for a bit of tearing these are available oh check out the end of thomas bmw if you don't mind fixing and pouring money on it probably great to me assuming it works the
2001car does all the old stuff really very well it's fast enough comfortable enough communicative in its direction light on its feet and well proportioned and the new one well the new one does all new stuff very good massively comfortable unbelievably fast drives smaller than it is and gives you tech to your eyeballs it's 26 times the car well that depends on how much value you place on the ability to have it turn on every time The good news is that if you can afford the new one, you don't have to. make up your mind, just ask the dealer for a four percent discount and you can get both
