the pageantry the tradition, the upstarts, there's always a lot going on. and it's a fantastic event so you're going to get division four in all its glory let's start and we started Division four we had Hudson who was making their 10th straight trip to the state championship final game when they took on the Clinton Redskins . Clinton beat a new home territory in the semi

and was going for her first state title.

We started in the 140 weight class. Ken McCombs was taking on Dylan Smith and it would be the freshman McCombs who would be left with a tough ride for two points that he would take. the match and put the Redskins on the board alongside class 145 Riley Jeffery for Clinton would face Cameron Betsy this was a close match but it would be Jeffrey with the movement of the husks handsome sir who would win his match 8 to 7 Hudson he took care of the Carson City crystal and the semifinals and was going for his third straight state title and would answer in the 152 class that Jorge Serena was facing against Jeffery and the senior Serena falls behind by two points as he would win his match by decision and that put the Tigers on the board but Clinton comes back in the 160 Braden Randolph going toe-to-toe with John Hudson Randolph veterans coming in with a loss on the season gets the good single swing and would go on to win his game by decision Redskins now leading 9 to 3 Hudson in search of his eighth state title in the last 11 years would return directly to the class 171 Carson Price for the Tigers against cecil Rafferty action in the second period and it would be the main prize with the headlock finished for the fall and we were tied at 9 apiece.

I don't think they really realized how powerful this team is. It was when I was in full throttle, so I'm a bit overwhelmed right now. I feel surreal right now. You know we worked all season for this. next to vision three and for eight For the umpteenth time in the last 13 years Richmond and Dundee met in the state final Richmond took on Chippewa Hills in the semis and we started in the 140 weight class with Hayden Bastion facing Caleb Fairchild and Bastion would dominate. in his opening game, he got Nelson's 3/4 over Fairchild by two points as he makes a winning decision of seventeen to four to put the Blue Devils on the board.

Dungey beat Whitehall in the semi-finals and was seeking back-to-back state titles. at 145 the young christian killian faced off against ethan wyatt killian would get the one legged match and finish on top he would win his match by decision alongside 152 grant he opted for the vikings who took on the reagan revolt the senior OTT also goes with the one single leg and ends up sidelined by two points, he would win his match 10 to nil and Dungey takes the lead, they kept the momentum going at 160 Stoney Buell took on Gavin Resk and the junior exploded on one leg for the takedown as he would take the match 26 to 12 Richmond in search of his seventh state title would respond in Wesley's 171 pairs by going head-to-head with McAllister McEvoy.

Another contested match was at Austin's 112 fight against Daniel McNichol and we went into overtime but it would be fights getti ng the reversal for the win Dungey takes a 1 point lead at 2219 Richmond comes back at 1:19 JD gross gets the double leg over Logan Sander and his party Krause gets the win in the blue fingers regains the lead at 22 for 20 then in the 125 class Austin Kilburn by Richmond took him to Austin to ski in the war and young Kilburn gets the front headlock for two points the Blue Devils now holding a five point lead we had a thrilling end to this classic rivalry at 1:30 Tyler Smith Durst is still facing off against fellow Josh so Jerski converts a one legged dumpster and would go out to win his match and Dundee now trailed 25 to 23 and at the last game of the day at 1/35 Jonathan White of the Vikings facing chaser Seguin White gets the one legged match by two points and would win by de Decision Dundee edged out Richmond 26-25 to capture their sixth state title in school history, this one more special than last year. it's so much more special just because I was the last game and I had to win it for the team it means so much more to me this one feels great uh this one feels really great you know why this year was a tough year for us a lot of things didn't work out well all season and it was a lot of stress and trying to keep it all together we didn't have the best how do I say line up from top to bottom? we had some yeah good guys and we had some green guys and then we got to do that it worked out and I put it all together so yeah doing it again it was really satisfying then we go Division two lone red arrows go for a state record , six straight state titles facing Goodrich the Martians in the state title they met for the first time in ten years when they won it in Division Three Inbred Lowell beat Gaylord in the semifinal and we started in the 140-pound weight class Avery Mutchler for the Red Arrows against Colin Austin the senior Mutchler would dominate as he would get double blast for two improved his record to thirty one for two on the season with the wind and that would put Lowell on the board alongside the class 145 Fetus James of the Red Arrows was going toe-to-toe with Dominic Edwards, young Fotis would be in control in this as he tips Edwards with the wing and a wrist for two, co He would go on to win his match six to nil going down to 152, the sophomore dope team for Lowell came into his match with a record 33 and four against Sam Fisher and Dean would get the firefighter. continues Fisher and the red arrows came out to a 17-nil lead but Goodrich who took out DeWitt in the semis would start to get going in the 171 weight class Juwan vines against Jacob Lee this would be a close match in all the time and it would be to be the junior vines with the side work for two points he would win and that would put the martians on the board we go to class 189 james penn for more goodrich was facing derek moore and the senior penn furred would get the single under for t wo points he would win his 40th game of the year.
Momentum began to build for Goodrich and they kept him to 15 classes. Honor Kline by facing Jacob Howe. single and would go on to earn hope alongside the heavyweights and it was good between Blake Covell and Tyler DeLuca, we had to go to overtime and it would be the older couple that would fall behind for the point and that would make sure. his match Goodrich now won four straight Lowell would answer to the Red Arrows' 103 Ramsey Mutchler in his match against Ryan Angelo and freshman Mutchler would get the single knee for two points and Lowell takes a seven point lead at 20 to 13 Nick core horn was next for Lowell in the 112 against Zion chef and the junior only needed a minute to take care of Jeff and he gets the cradle on the other side Lowell is now up 26 to 30 but never count out Goodrich the freshman Cameron macklin dominated in his match against Bryce McHugh here getting the near fall and his next major decision win at 125 for the Martians.
Parson Richards was taking death square on and the freshman slips by two points as he advances for victory Goodrich now trails 26-20. The pressure mounts in the last two games of the day in the hunt for 130.
